The Berlin Film Festival takes place February 13-23.

Plot: A woman’s (Mia Maestro) affair with an enigmatic underground musician (Lee Pace) throws her life into chaos when he disappears. Forced to fend off his obsessive fans, she also has to confront her fractured marriage, and reclaim her identity and her future.

After This Death is getting bad reviews with Gwendoline Christie in a described nothing small part. I'm so tired of her being used heavily in promotions only to have a tiny part. I lost count how many times this happens with her!

I just checked ATD's reviews over at Rotten Tomatoes and so far only 3 have been posted and they're all negative. I saw one from Variety that was positive though. I feel like this is going to be Gwen's first big critical flop since 2018's "Welcome to Marwen". So she went 7 straight years having projects that were a hit with critics...that's pretty impressive. Still gotta check out ATD for myself to form my own opinion.

I have mixed feelings over Gwen being used a lot in promos for projects she has minimal screen time in. On one hand I love all the exposure she gets and new content we get of her during these promo tours but on the other hand it's all pretty deceiving if she's barely in the thing and not a lead character. IDK I guess at this point as a Gwen fan I'll take what I can get!

I'm looking at imdb and Gwendoline is not listed in the cast for Lucio Castro's film.

The IMDB page hasn't been updated yet. Gwendoline was announced as part of the cast today through the official Berlinale channel.
