Full Carbon Fiber Body Kit Released for the 2023 Nissan Z

The 2023 Nissan Z upgrades options keep getting released, and they are so better making it hard to look away. We have shared several upgrades that we have done to our Nissan Z, including the wheels upgrade options, tuning options for the Z, coilovers, exhaust upgrades and more. Mercedes CLK63 Black Series Front Carbon Spoiler Reborn

The Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series is one of the most iconic cars of its time. With only 500 cars made in the world and 394 brought to the USA, this car has become a collectors piece. Only available as a 2008 model, the DTM inspired flares and raw 6.3L (6.218L actually) V8 engine pumps out 500 horsepower with its 7 speed paddle shift transmission. In its heyday, this was the pace car for F1 races around the world and posters on the walls for many enthusiasts.

Back in 2019 I had purchased a very rare 1 of 10 Mars Red Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series. When COVID hit and space in the Vivid Racing shop became a premium, I decided to sell the car on Bring a Trailer. Having purchased the car for $72500 and sold it for $95000, I thought I was a big dog. Today that car with 23000 miles I sold it with is worth $150K.

So after I sold my Porsche 992 GT3 we did here at Vivid Racing, I started a new quest to find another Black Series. With not a single Mars Red available in the USA, I started to look globally. Since I had previous imported the Ford Escort RS Cosworth from Spain, I decided to see what was in Europe. After some searching I came across this incredible white one that was actually produced in 2007 for the AMG CEO. It was outfitted with many European market exclusive options such as carbon fiber door cards, a carbon fiber GT trunk wing, and bucket AMG racing seats. But then it had this crazy front lip spoiler that further accentuated the DTM look of the car. Unfortunately they wanted $130,000 for this vehicle that had an equivalent of 70,000 miles so I continued my hunt.

A short time later I came across this beautiful Silver CLK63 in Nashville. With only 19500 miles on it, this was the perfect car. Wanting to get this as a collector piece, I did not want to really modify it. But that white one with the front lip kept on pulling heart strings. When the CLK63 hit the USA market, the aftermarket community went crazy with modifications not knowing what this car would become. Everything from suspension, exhausts, intakes, superchargers, and more aero parts. Being that the CLK63 comes factory with a carbon fiber rear diffuser, a carbon fiber trunk lip wing, and carbon fiber front bumper side vents, it is definitely missing a carbon fiber front lip.

     Utilizing our experience with creating Carbon Fiber Aero parts, I 3d scanned the entire front bumper. Pulling from queues of the white Mercedes CLK63, we designed this new front lip spoiler to flow seamlessly with the rest of the aero and carbon fiber style. Now with a complete CAD model completed, a CNC aluminum mold was developed to lay up pre-preg carbon fiber material and then allow it to cure in an autoclave. Utilizing the latest technology and tier 1 materials in the pre-preg carbon fiber process, we achieve a beautiful glossy finish. The result is an OEM matching 2×2 twill carbon weave that fits to perfection.

In the end we now have a carbon fiber front lip spoiler for the limited amount of Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series cars. This isn’t a get rich product, but brings back the initial modding and enthusiast craze of such a legendary car. Jiyan’s head snapped up, golden eyes widening.

He just got it.

He brought a clawed hand to his head, sighing so deep his bangs blew up somewhat from the extra aero. Maybe he was a tad dense, relationships weren’t exactly his.. The man’s eyebrows furrowed. Forte. He knew the Rover would find his joke funny at least.

“Jiyan! They’re hurt again and told me to come get you!”

Jiyan dropped his hand from his face, straightening out with a soft breath. “I’m on my way. Could you take this to Zhan for me?” He held a folder in his free hand, wiggling it somewhat to the soldier. 

“Sure thing!”

And with his duties dealt with, Jiyan could focus on the matter at hand. You hated the medical bay, often finding him in his office or room. But this time he found you in your room, knocking on the doorway of the open door before he entered. You sat up in your bed, sheepish smile on your face as he looked at you.

“Diamondclaws again?”

“No!” You replied as if it were an insult rather than a true fact. Diamondclaws hated you. “Aero predator this time.” You beamed proudly, because you won. Even though you took a nasty hit to the side in doing so.

Jiyan shook his head as he approached, crouching down beside your bed to inspect the injury. You moved closer so he could get a better look at it. It wasn’t really anything bad, the weapon barely touched you, but it definitely looked worse than it was. 

He waved his hand, the blood flicking to the side with a small gust of aero. Really he should take the time to properly clean it but this entertained him more. “At least you don’t need stitches again.” Jiyan commented as he opened the small medical kit he’d picked up on the way over to you.

You made a face. The stitches sucked. 

Jiyan wiped away the rest of the blood with one of the provided clothes, careful so as to not irritate your skin further. “Chenxu is a fine medic.” The General commented as he dropped the cloth on the ground to grab the bandages.

“She scares me.”

He exhaled a small laugh, holding the bandages a few inches up to your wound before wrapping them around your torso carefully. He then used the inches he’d left free to help pin the bandages down with a pin. 

“And I don’t?”

You shrugged, immediately wincing. 

It wasn’t like you had known him three years prior, when he was the medic. Before he rose to his position of authority. You’d only ever known him as the General. Then, you had never been afraid to call him by his name. Another soldier, like everybody else.

“And you’re sure you coming to me for a papercut of all things last week was nothing?”

“I told you I’m afraid of blood!”

Jiyan raised an eyebrow at you, he went from crouching to standing beside your bed. His gaze made you look away, rubbing your neck awkwardly. 

“You’re a soldier.”

“And?” 

He brought his hand down, ruffling your hair. 

“If you wanted to go on a date, you could just ask.”

The sound that escaped you was far too embarrassing, your cheeks warming quickly.

Maybe it took him two months to figure it out. But he had figured it out! And Jiyan was not going to let his revelation go to waste.

“Rest up.” Your name left his tongue with a certain fondness and you struggled to find a reply. Unable to do so before he left you alone in your room. 

Once safe from your sight he hid his face in his hand, cheeks red, his blush extended to his ears. Maybe he’d been too bold? No surely not, you didn’t react negatively, merely.. Flustered? He was also flustered.

“General Jiyan!”

“Not now.”

“O-Okay sir!”

He took a deep breath, willing his blush away. But it would not leave.

Jiyan would follow up another day.

wuwa characters receiving variants in the future is a real thing and it can hurt you (maybe)

the elemental system we have with havoc, spectro, aero and all the other attributes can be flexible. characters resonate with frequencies of a phenomenon/object that can be distinguished by an elemental attribute, but cannot always be bound by it completely. there might already have been a couple cases of someone exhibiting signs of a second attribute.

for example, when jiyan summons the spear in his trailer there is a lightning effect around his hand, followed by the sound of electricity cracking. 

this might be a visual representation of sound waves reverberating, or it might just be an artistic choice. but if the source of jiyan’s resonance is, say, the storm, then he can be assigned both the aero and electro attributes - hence the lightning around his hand.

but the biggest offenders for a possible double-attribute deal would be aalto and the mourning aix, walk with me.

during the ‘stygian lacrimosa’ world quest (spoilers for it right ahead btw) there is a moment when they let us control an echo of the second aix. while the two aixes fight, something weird is happening: the aix you control clearly has spectro attacks, but ui for it’s abilities is green, as if it’s attribute is supposed to be aero; while the other aix, the one we fight for ascension materials and know as a spectro-aligned creature has distinct aero attacks. 

I have two speculations for what’s happening here:

1. kuro might have mixed up the attacks of two aixes, the one we control was supposed to be aero, and the other one was supposed to be left as spectro. 

2. mourning aix was shown to be able to cover areas in fog earlier in the quest, so these aix TDs might be mimicking the frequencies of fog, which is a common phenomenon in the area they inhabit. 

fog is formed when cold air meets warm air, condensation happens, tiny water drops form and get suspended - aero connection. but then, the water droplets in the fog stop and scatter light in all directions, which limits visibility - spectro connection. so, creatures that mimic or resonate with frequencies of fog could have both aero and spectro attributes, which is why the aixes have both aero and spectro attacks. 

that sends us right to aalto, who resonates with fog. some parts of his kit already have things that might be spectro-looking: the avatar he conjures kind of looks like a prism, the mist bullets he gets from his skill and forte circuit form an attack similar to one of mournig aix's. those attacks of theirs are in turn similar in pattern to some light scattering diagrams.

fun fact, Rayleigh scattering is an optical phenomenon that is behind the sky being blue, and you can find a courier in the whining aix’s mire that will ask you that exact question, ‘why is the sky blue?’. then again, the court of savantae, where we spend most of our time with aalto, is also there. 

to finish the string of weird coincidences, resonance reports of both jiyan and aalto stand out too. aalto’s has statements that are loose, imprecise: 

“Further tests conducted to ascertain the properties of the mist he conjures yielded inconclusive results” accompanied by “As stated in the report, this resonator is cunning and a master of disguises, thus rendering the credibility of his recounts questionable”; his report has no overclock history cause bro just ?? left ??

it’s not established what jiyan resonates with (will probably be addressed later): “Jiyan's Resonance Spectrum Pattern shows no resemblance to known samples'';  then there’s this statement in his overclock diagnostic report: “there are two distinct waveforms identified, each with exceptionally high peak values”. there are characters that can create or summon creatures with their forte, and jiyan is still the only one to have a second waveform, so it’s not because of qingloong. 

my point is, kuro definitely has wiggle room if they wanted to make a character variant. until further notice, jiyan and aalto would be the most plausible candidates for that in my eyes.
