—midnight recording
aeri x fem!reader
⚠️ smut, fingering, cursing, mdni
★ visiting your girlfriend in her studio late at night.
a/n: posting the things i have in my drafts before i get so busy again :/
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
a loud gunshot shattered the silence of your apartment, jolting you awake. your eyes flew open, a gasp escaping your lips as your heart pounded in your chest.
panic set in as you frantically scanned the room, searching for the source of the sound. only to find the tv as the source of the loud sound. you let out a relieved sigh, reaching for the remote to turn it off.
slipping your hand under the pillows you'd tossed on the couch, you searched for your phone.
you looked at the time and it was already 11pm.
looking around, the apartment was untouched, meaning aeri still hadn't come home from work. it was understandable—she and her group were preparing for a comeback, so lately, she would come home late or sometimes sleep at their building if they finished too late.
standing up from the couch, you stretched your limbs before slipping on aeri's hoodie—the one you had stolen from her closet. grabbing your car keys and wallet, you stepped out of the apartment.
you drove to the sm building, making a quick stop at a convenience store to pick up some midnight snacks. when you arrived, you entered the building, greeting the people inside. they greeted you back without hesitation, already familiar with you from your frequent visits.
as you walked, you happened to bump into jimin, who looked like she was about to head home. her eyes widened in surprise upon seeing you before a smile spread across her face, and she waved at you.
"hey, yn! nice seeing you here," jimin greeted.
you smiled at the leader.
"hey there, jimin. heading home?"
jimin nodded, pouting. "yes, finally... practice had me beat up," she groaned.
you chuckled. "good luck on your comeback."
she smiled, exhaustion evident in her expression. "thanks, yn. we’re all working hard for it."
"by the way, aeri's stuck in the recording room. said she’s having problems with her solo song," jimin informed you.
you nodded in understanding. "got it, thanks, jimin."
with that, you bid goodbye to the leader and continued on your way.
you made your way through the vast building, finally arriving at the studio where aeri was supposedly stuck.
knocking on the glass door, you waited a moment before stepping inside.
there she was—your girlfriend, hunched over the large desk cluttered with recording equipment, her fingers typing away on the keyboard. her eyes never left the screen, completely focused.
"i'll head home once i finish this," aeri said, her voice laced with exhaustion but unwavering in determination.
you smiled and spoke,
"but i got snacks."
the sound of your voice made aeri whip her head around so fast, her face blank as she processed your presence. then, as realization hit, a wide smile spread across her face.
"baby!"
aeri pushed herself out of her seat and rushed to you, wrapping you in a warm, tight hug. she nestled her head into your neck, sighing softly as she breathed in your scent.
"baby… i missed you so much. i was just thinking about finishing my song tomorrow so i could come home to you," she murmured, her voice filled with affection.
"oh, thank you so much for coming here."
before you could respond, she pulled away just enough to smother your face with a flurry of kisses, making you laugh at her sudden burst of affection.
"oh, i miss you too, love," you responded, smiling.
aeri groaned dramatically, cupping your face with both hands.
"can we make out? like right now?" she asked out of the blue, eyes hopeful.
you stared at her, wide-eyed, before bursting into laughter.
"aeri, what—?"
she pouted. "i'm serious! i need a recharge!"
you laughed, shaking your head in amusement before letting out a sigh.
"you're unbelievable," you muttered, smiling as you brushed a strand of hair from her face.
looking at aeri's pouting face, you couldn't help but melt at the sight. with a soft sigh, you gave in, pulling her close before crashing your lips against hers.
she let out a pleased hum, arms wrapping tightly around your neck as she eagerly kissed you back, as if she'd been waiting for this all day.
aeri pressed herself closer, deepening the kiss as her fingers tangled in your hair. her desperation was evident—the long hours of work, the exhaustion, and the longing for you all pouring into the way her lips moved against yours.
you smiled into the kiss, feeling the warmth of her love, and gently cupped her face, stroking her cheek with your thumb. aeri sighed against your lips, melting into your touch as if all the stress weighing her down had vanished in that moment.
when you pulled away for a gasp of air, aeri didn’t waste a second—immediately pushing herself onto you, reclaiming your lips with desperation.
surprised, you stumbled back slightly but quickly caught up, your hands gripping her waist to steady yourself. her tongue slipped past your lips, claiming every inch of your mouth as if she couldn’t get enough. you let her take control, surrendering to her eagerness as her fingers threaded into your hair, pulling you impossibly closer.
the studio was silent except for the soft sounds of your heated kisses, the tension thick between you. aeri groaned into your mouth, clearly frustrated from days of being apart, and you couldn’t help but smile against her lips.
feeling her lungs burn from the lack of oxygen, aeri finally pulled away, resting her forehead against yours.
she panted heavily, her warm breath fanning against your lips as she tried to catch her breath.
you, on the other hand, looked at her in pure amusement.
"jesus, aeri, let me breathe, woman," you teased, a playful grin tugging at your lips.
aeri chuckled breathlessly.
"sorry, baby, couldn't help myself," she admitted, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
you shook your head, smiling fondly. pressing a quick peck on her lips, you pulled away from her touch (earning a low groan of protest from aeri) as you grabbed the snacks you bought earlier.
settling back down, you let aeri pull you onto her lap, something she insisted on. with a warm cup of noodles in hand, you occasionally fed her bites while she continued working, her arms loosely wrapped around your waist.
"this is nice."
she mumbled between bites, nuzzling her face against your shoulder for a moment before refocusing on her screen.
you chuckled, running your fingers through her hair.
"just don’t get noodle broth on the equipment, superstar."
aeri hummed, refocusing on her work.
after some typing and occasionally groaning at the screen. aeri pulled away from the computer, nuzzling her face into your neck.
"what's wrong, lovely?" you asked.
aeri mumbled something against your shoulder, but her words came out muffled and completely unintelligible.
you raised a brow, amused. "what was that?"
she pulled back slightly, pouting at you, but the playful glint from earlier was gone. instead, her eyes were hooded, darkened with something you were very familiar with—lust.
biting your lip in realization—an action that didn’t go unnoticed by aeri. her eyes instinctively flickered down to your lips before quickly snapping back up to meet your gaze, a subtle tension settling between you.
without a word, you placed your phone on the desk and shifted in her lap, adjusting your position until you were fully straddling her. aeri’s hands instinctively found their place on your waist, fingers tightening slightly as if anticipating what was coming next.
hooking your arms around her neck, you leaned in just a little, your breath mingling with hers. "you keep looking at me like that, aeri." you murmured, teasing.
aeri whined softly, her grip on your sides tightening as she gazed up at you with desperate eyes.
"baby, i miss you so much," she murmured, her voice almost trembling with need. she pressed a gentle kiss to your jaw before pulling back just enough to meet your gaze again.
"can i please have you?" she begged, her tone filled with longing, fingers tracing slow, deliberate circles against your hips.
you raised a brow, amusement lacing your tone.
"right here, right now?"
aeri bit her lip, nodding eagerly. "mm-hmm," she hummed, her hands sliding up your back, pulling you even closer. "no one's gonna come in… and i just—i need you, baby."
her eyes searched yours, dark and pleading, waiting for your answer.
wordlessly giving your answer, you slipped off aeri’s hoodie, letting it fall to the floor, leaving you in just a thin shirt.
aeri’s breath hitched, her eyes immediately roaming over you, fingers twitching against your waist. she swallowed hard, her grip tightening as she looked up at you, completely captivated.
“god, you’re gonna be the death of me,” she murmured, voice thick with want, before pulling you in, crashing her lips against yours once more.
her lips attacked yours before trailing down to your jaw and neck, leaving a path of wet, open-mouthed kisses. occasionally biting and sucking on your skin, definitely leaving some marks.
aeri's hands roamed your sides, gripping your hips as she pulled you impossibly closer. her breath was warm against your skin, and you shivered as she nipped lightly at your pulse, her lips lingering as if savoring the moment.
“missed this,” she murmured against your neck, her voice low and needy.
pulling away slightly, aeri’s gaze dropped to your chest, her fingers slipping beneath your shirt, tracing slow, teasing circles before gently cupping you in her hand.
a smirk played on your lips as you decided to give her what she wanted. gripping the hem of your shirt, you lifted it up, holding it between your teeth, putting yourself on display just for her.
aeri’s eyes sparkled with hunger, her breath hitching at the sight. with one hand, you reached back to unclasp your bra, letting it fall.
she wasted no time—her warm mouth latching onto one peak while her other hand toyed with the other, squeezing and flicking, making your breath catch.
"so beautiful," she murmured against your skin, her voice soft yet laced with desire.
while aeri busied herself with your sensitive skin, you sat there, moaning helplessly, your fingers threading through her hair as she worked her magic.
every flick of her tongue, every squeeze of her hand had you melting beneath her touch, your breaths coming out in shaky gasps.
fortunately, the studio was soundproof, meaning you didn’t have to hold back—you could be as loud as you wanted, and aeri was determined to pull every sound from you.
when aeri pulled away, a whine escaped your lips, your body instinctively leaning toward her, craving her touch. but the mischievous glint in her eyes told you she had something planned.
tilting her head slightly, she let out a playful sigh, as if speaking to no one in particular.
"forgive me, producer, but it seems i’m about to ruin your precious studio."
before you could react, her hand slipped into your pants, her fingers pressing firmly against your heated core, making you gasp at the sudden contact.
she teasingly traced slow, deliberate circles against your heated core, her touch light yet utterly consuming. soft whines and breathy moans escaped your lips, only fueling the growing hunger in her dark, needy gaze.
"so sensitive," aeri murmured, her voice laced with amusement and desire, her fingers never faltering as she watched you fall apart beneath her touch.
eager to draw more sounds from you, aeri wasted no time, slipping a finger inside—earning a sharp, shaky moan from your lips.
"fuck!" you gasped, your muscles tensing as she slowly worked her hand, dragging her finger in and out with deliberate precision.
a string of curses fell from your lips as she added another finger, stretching you just right. the way she moved—controlled, unrelenting—made it impossible to think, let alone form a coherent thought.
as her pace quickened, you became a moaning, writhing mess on her. with her other hand, she gripped your waist firmly, keeping you still on her lap.
"that's it, baby. let me hear you." aeri groaned, her voice thick with desire as she maintained the perfect pace, attuned to every sound you made.
occasionally, she curled her fingers just right, pulling a sharp gasp or a broken moan from you—each reaction only fueling her need to hear more.
your hands slipped from her shoulders, gripping the edge of the desk instead as you leaned back, giving aeri the perfect view of you.
her eyes darkened, taking in every detail, her breath hitching at the sight. "just perfect," she muttered, her touch never faltering.
the sight before her was intoxicating—your body glistening with sweat, hair a beautiful mess, drool slipping from your lips as you bit down on the hem of your shirt, exposing your marked, sensitive skin.
your stomach tensed with every whimper, every moan, completely lost in the moment.
aeri swore she could never get enough. this—you, undone beneath her—was something she wanted to witness every single day.
as your core tightened around her fingers, aeri knew you were close. without hesitation, she quickened her pace, her movements growing more intense, more precise.
your moans grew louder, your grip on the desk tightening, muscles shaking uncontrollably as your legs tensed, the overwhelming pressure building to your release.
"come on, baby," aeri coaxed, her grip firm as she held you in place, her voice dripping with hunger. "let me taste you."
aeri could break her fingers for all she cared—none of it mattered. all that mattered was you, trembling, teetering on the edge of bliss.
"that's it, baby," she murmured, eyes locked onto you, completely entranced. "let go for me."
and you did.
with a loud, breathless moan, your body shuddered, pleasure crashing over you in waves as you finally let go, releasing your juices that aeri wanted so much.
she held you steady, watching in awe as you came undone, completely lost in the sensation.
pulling her fingers out, aeri brought them to her lips, slowly sucking them clean, never once breaking eye contact with your half-lidded, dazed gaze.
"so sweet," she murmured, a smirk tugging at her lips as she watched your chest rise and fall, completely spent yet utterly mesmerizing.
you let out a weak chuckle before collapsing against her, your body still tingling from the aftermath.
aeri wrapped her arms around your waist, pulling you close as she pressed soft, lingering kisses to your shoulder, her touch now gentle, soothing—a stark contrast to moments ago.
"i'm bringing a strap next time," aeri said casually, a mischievous smirk playing on her lips.
your eyes widened as you pulled away, cheeks heating up before you gave her a playful slap on the arm.
"you're insatiable," you huffed, but the grin tugging at your lips betrayed your amusement.
aeri only chuckled, pulling you back into her embrace. "only for you, baby."
as you lay in her arms, basking in the warmth of her embrace, the two of you stayed like that for a while, letting your heartbeats slowly return to normal.
unbeknownst to you, her computer had been recording the entire time—every soft whimper, every breathy moan, every syllable of your voice perfectly captured in crisp audio.
aeri had been sneaky, pressing the button when you were too lost in her touch to notice.
her gaze flickered to the blinking red dot at the corner of the screen, a subtle smirk playing on her lips.
oh, she was so going to use this. a song—one heavily inspired by you—was already forming in her mind.

Sometimes I think about Andrew and how he could actually be a great hitter for the mob. Like if he were under Neil (ayooooo) working as his right hand. His lover, his shield, his sword...
See below evidence: ~ He never forgets a face. ~ He's good at reading people. ~ He's as much of a bitch as Neil but less loud about it. ~ He has zero problem getting in a fucker's business. ~ He beat the shit out of four grown men single-handedly and now he's got actual weapons. ~ He's nosy and he listens, if someone were about to flip on Neil Andrew would be the first to know. And he'd take care of it immediately.
N: Andrew, I think we're gonna have to kill this guy A: Say no more.

aeri uchinaga headcanon
meangirl!aeri x dancer!fem!reader
⚠️ smut, light bullying, lots of swearing
★ aeri sees you differently after seeing you dance.
a/n: rushed, im so bad at writing smut, did not proofread
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- you lived a normal life—good family, good friends, good grades, and a decent reputation on campus. but among all the good things in your life, one flaw stood out: your bad eyesight. you blamed it on the countless hours spent staring at screens, whether working on projects or losing yourself in games.
- that's why when you forgot to put on your glasses and rummaged to find it in your bag, you bumped into a person causing them to fall on the ground.
- you heard a yelp as the person hit the cold floor, followed by gasps echoing around you. scrambling to find your glasses, you slipped them on, only for your heart to sink and your breath to catch in your chest at the sight of the person sprawled on the ground.
- the long, bright pink hair made it impossible not to recognize her. aeri uchinaga. she was on the ground, glaring up at you while her crew of three girls stood behind her, their faces frozen in shock.
- your voice caught in your throat, the apologies you wanted to spill refused to come out. instead, you bent down to her level, extending a hand to help her up, only for her to swat it away.
- aeri looked at you with such a sharp look that if looks could kill, you were stabbed mercilessly everywhere.
- "are you blind-- given your glasses, i think you are! watch where you're going next time and wear your glasses if you're so blind, gosh!"
- the pink-haired woman exclaimed sharply before standing up and brushing past you, intentionally bumping your shoulder. all you could do was watch as she and her crew walked away, vanishing into the sea of students crowding the hallway.
- ever since that encounter, aeri never left you alone. it seemed that incident triggered something in her, making you her next victim. unfortunately, most of your classes were with her, turning school into a daily struggle. her endless teasing made life miserable—hiding your belongings during class, shoving you against your locker as she passed, or sticking out her foot to trip you during lunch.
- however, the teasing came to a halt when you stopped attending regular classes and started frequenting the gym. you had the privilege of being excused from classes to prepare for an upcoming dance competition, representing your school.
- you'd have your peaceful lunch outside the campus, away from the four disasters in your precious school life.
- but that peace didn’t last long. now, you found yourself making eye contact with the devil herself—aeri—sitting on the bleachers with her crew. she stared at you with her usual evil smirk before breaking eye contact, her gaze trailing down to scan you. the intensity of her stare left you feeling self-conscious throughout your entire practice.
- forcing yourself to ignore her presence—which surprisingly worked—you managed to finish the last day of practice successfully. after freshening up and ridding yourself of the sweaty state from earlier, you bid goodbye to your group and headed out.
- what you thought was a peaceful walk home turned out to be wrong.
- "hey there, y/nnie." your heart stopped at the sound of that familiar, mocking voice as its owner stepped out from the corridor.
- aeri, all alone, wore that smirk that seemed permanently etched on her face whenever you saw her. she strode confidently toward your almost retreating figure. how ironic—it was you who was taller, yet every time you crossed paths, she made you feel as though she towered over you.
- "didn't know you could move like that. why didn't you tell me you could be sexy, hm?" she said, her tone raspy and laced with something you couldn’t quite place.
- before you could even respond, she stepped closer, her hand resting lightly on your shoulder as she leaned in. her warm breath brushed against your ear, sending shivers down your spine.
- "take care out there, sexy," she murmured, her voice low and teasing, before turning on her heel and walking away.
- ever since that weirdly hot and confusing night, aeri became unusually touchy whenever she was near. she would brush her hands against your body as she passed by, her touches lingering just enough to leave you flustered. it didn’t help that, despite her past mistreatments, you couldn’t deny how attractive you found her.
- on the day of your competition, you stood on stage, preparing to perform. as your eyes scanned the loud, cheering crowd, they landed on a familiar head of pink hair. your eyes widened in surprise—you hadn’t expected her to be here.
- you managed to survive the entire routine, pushing aside the way her presence made you feel self-conscious. instead, you focused on the music and the rhythm, allowing yourself to enjoy the time you had on stage.
- upon reaching backstage, you were greeted by the cheers of your teammates, all of them struggling to catch their breaths, which you mirrored. despite the exhaustion, you all huddled together, sharing a group hug—celebrating your successful performance.
- now, you were at a club with your team, celebrating your victory. it was clear that your team had won, and to mark the occasion, your leader had dragged everyone out to the club with the promise of covering the drinks.
- aeri happened to be at the same club, and upon spotting your tall figure vibing freely on the dance floor, a smirk crept onto her lips. she watched you from a distance, her gaze never leaving you.
- she watched as you transformed from sober to wild on the dance floor, clearly drunk from the drinks you'd had. your movements became freer, and she couldn't help but smirk at the sight of you letting loose.
- "she knows how to party, huh?" karina, one of aeri's friends, remarked as she observed your drunken movements. aeri nodded, her gaze lingering for a moment before she shifted her attention back to the group she was with, who had now started playing cards.
- however, as soon as she took her eyes off you, a girl approached and began dancing dangerously close. your bodies were almost touching as the slow music played, the rhythm urging her on. she eyed you with hooded, intoxicated eyes, matching the haze of your own drunkenness.
- one of aeri's friends, winter, noticed the scene and slapped a hand on the pink-haired woman's arm. "holy cow, ain't no way that loser bagged a hot chick before me!" she exclaimed, standing up quickly and jogging toward the dance floor.
- aeri whipped her head around, her eyes landing on your figure as you danced dangerously close with someone. a flash of irritation crossed her face—she didn’t like that one bit.
- she downed her drink in one go, slamming the glass onto the table before strutting toward your drunken figure with a determined stride.
- upon reaching you, she discreetly pushed the woman aside and grabbed you by the shoulders, pulling you close as she moved in sync with the slow music. her eyes mockingly glanced at the woman, who only rolled her eyes before turning and walking away, clearly unimpressed.
- slightly sobering up from the proximity, you stopped dancing and looked at aeri with confusion, unsure of what was happening. "aeri? what are you doing?"
- the woman rolled her eyes, pulling her hands from your shoulders and gripping your wrist to yank you toward the bathroom. confused and drunk, you stumbled after her, feeling powerless in the situation, and let yourself be pushed into a cubicle.
- "w-what are you doing, aeri?" you nervously asked, your voice shaky as the woman stood close, her hooded eyes fixed on you with an intensity that sent a shiver down your spine.
- "i don't know either but one thing for sure is, you made me so fucking hot and bothered and you need to fix it right now." pushing you back onto the covered toilet seat, she straddled you without hesitation and placed her hands firmly on your shoulders. her touch was electrifying, and her gaze held you captive.
- your frustration gave way to a rush of desire as you leaned in and claimed her lips, the taste of her mouth sending a rush of satisfaction through you. a soft hum of satisfaction escaped her chest as your lips moved in a hungry dance, eagerly exploring every contour of each other.
- you boldy bit her lower lip, causing the woman to release a moan. using this opportunity to slip your tongue and claim dominance as your tongues danced against each other. when your lungs burned from the lack of oxygen, you pulled away, creating string of saliva.
- aeri chuckled and whispered, "that's so fucking hot." you smirked and claimed her lips once more, this time much more aggressive. your hands made its way to her hips, gripping it, pulling her closer. her arms snaked around your neck as she slowly grinded against you. the action made you pull back to release a groan. aeri chuckled at this reaction and continued grinding against you, loving the sounds you made.
- your hooded eyes mirrored her lust-fille ones as she moved, never breaking your eye contact. deciding to break the eye contact, your head moved to her neck as you left wet kisses on the her soft skin.
- aeri moaned and tilted her neck, giving you more access. your wet kisses turned to soft bites and gradually, harsh ones—sucking and kissing. it would leave very obvious marks but aeri was too sexually drunk to care.
- pulling away, you looked at the marks you made and smirked in pride. aeri paused, her gaze lingering on your proud smirk before she rolled her eyes and gently slapped your cheek, pulling your attention toward her.
- she took a good look at your face and chuckled. "fuck, you're actually so damn hot. i think i was the blind one for not seein that." she said, causing you to laugh.
- "really? you're only saying that after we made out?" you shook your head. aeri looked at you before smirking.
- "wouldn't it be so fucking hot if you fuck me with your glasses on?" she whispered, licking your earlobe which sent you shivers down your spine.
- you chuckled at her idea, "i wouldn't be able to see you then 'cause the fog would block my vision." aeri rolled her eyes and groaned, pushing her head back.
- "i almost forgot that you can be such a nerd—a hot nerd." she said, causing you to laugh. despite the situation, you were still in the same position, oddly finding it more comfortable than you'd expected. maybe because you got used to her touch.
- after that hot scene in the bathroom, you and aeri were never the same as before. instead of pushing you against your locker, she'd push you into the janitor's closet and make out with you. in some cases, she'd go to the gym, waiting for you to finish your training before pouncing at you once you both were left alone.
- as much as you liked the attention aeri was giving you, it made you confused. what were you two called? not friends, but also not lovers. maybe fuck buddies but you were starting to fall for the woman and it wasn't helping at all.
- on a cold saturday night, you trapped yourself in your dorm. you were all alone, left with your raging thoughts and the slight pain whenever you thought of the pink haired woman. she probably just considers you as a good fuck and you're here catching feelings.
- a notification popped up on your phone, and your eyes caught sight of aeri's picture on the screen. it was a message from her, inviting you to a party at her house that night. your hand instinctively moved to decline, but then an idea sparked in your mind, and you paused, contemplating the opportunity.
- why not use the party as an opportunity to confront aeri and clarify your relationship? it could be the chance to finally get something out of her and calm the storm of confusion that’s been swirling in your mind.
- you pulled up into her house wearing the sluttiest clothes a woman like you could wear, a leather jacket barely covering the sports bra underneath and a baggy pants that were slightly sagging down to show off your calvin kleins. you also decided to wear your glasses, feeling lazy to put on contacts.
- it seemed your outfit caught the attention of the women, who immediately crowded you and began making advances. noticing the commotion, aeri watched from a distance, her brows furrowed in reaction. she strutted in, "what the he—" she was cut off upon seeing you in what she believes is the most hottest thing you ever wore.
- she bit her lip as she approached, her presence immediately causing the women to back down in defeat. your eyes met hers who wore the familiar dark, eyes clouding in lust.
- "did you dress up for me, sexy?" aeri whispered as she led you to her kitchen, grabbing a drink for you. graciously accepting it, you took a gulp, noticing her gaze lingering on your neck, a quiet intensity in her eyes.
- you decided to ignore her advances, hoping to frustrate her and get a reaction. as aeri led you to her group, introducing you to her friends, you acted oblivious to her touches. her brows furrowed in subtle frustration as you continued engaging with her friends, seemingly unaware of her hints.
- aeri had never felt so hot and bothered in her life. she desperately wanted to dump her cold drink on you, but quickly dismissed the idea—it would just make you smell like beer, and she didn’t want that. she watched you, grinning like a fool at one of her friends, her gaze narrowing into a glare, frustration building within her.
- winter noticed it and chuckled, shaking her head "just date her or something, stop glaring at her like a bitch." the woman whispered. "can't blame the women though, they said dancers are a good fuck." winter added to which aeri rolled her eyes but the former was right. the amount of strength, agility and breathing control you must have, aeri felt a pool between her legs as she imagined you and her again.
- aeri eventually stormed off to her room, trying to cool her hot head and the heat in between her legs. she was already horny the moment she saw you in that clothing and ignoring her only worsened her situation.
- she sat on her bed, contemplating whether or not she'd call you but you were busy having fun out there. she'd look like a dog in heat begging to be fucked by you.
- with a groan, aeri opened her legs as her hand crawled in her soaking panties. a moan escaped her lips and eventually, your name as she pictures you pounding her pussy whilst wearing your glasses. gripping the sheets, she was close to her climax as her fingers moved in and out at a fast pace.
- in search of aeri, you found yourself outside her room listening to her moans and your name being called. your immediately felt heat in your core as you listened to her reach her climax. the moans stopped and the door opened, revealing a blushing aeri.
- her eyes widened at the sight of you and you mirrored the same expression, having been caught listening to her mastubate. however, you were too turned on to care about being caught so you pushed her back in and locked the door behind you. a hungry gaze locked onto hers as she stepped back, never breaking eye contact.
- "tell me you want it, i'll give it to you." you whispered, approaching her figure who stood just at the edge of her bed.
- aeri lifted a hand to caress your cheeks. your hand held hers, leading it to your lips as you gave it a soft kiss whilst sharing an intense gaze.
- "i want you, y/n."
- that's what all it takes to push her on the bed, your figure hovering on top of her. lips colliding to share a passionate kiss which soon turned into one of hunger, eager to fill the hole in each other.
- your jacket was now discarded, leaving you in your sports bra and your pants whilst aeri laid almost bare underneath you. her matching lace underwear made her more desiring as if she already isn't with her sounds that were music to your ears.
- aeri watched as you unbuckled your belt, lip biting as her eyes trailed down your lean build. taking the pants off, her eyes widened at the noticeable bulge on your crotch. her eyes met yours and you chuckled at her reaction.
- "i'm wearing a strap, cutie." you casually said.
- soon you found yourself thrusting into aeri with an almost animalistic pace which sent the woman into a moaning mess, her nails digging into your skin. the bed creaking, aeri's loud moans and your name being called like a chant, it was music.
- you paused just as aeri was about to reach her climax which she yelled a loud, "fuck!" you only chuckled and gripped her hips, turning her on her stomach.
- the woman, almost automatically, lifted her butt, her face planted on the pillow. you entered her, eliciting a loud moan from her as you thrusted into her already wet pussy.
- aeri felt like she was in heaven with how you good you fucked her and you were wearing your glasses, you looked so hot pounding into her with your fogged up glasses.
- the rest of the party was spent in aeri's room, the both of you doing every position you knew in every corner of her room.
- however, the thick fog hanging over your relationship remained, and aeri was determined to clear it. she couldn’t stand seeing other girls throw themselves at you as you gradually gained popularity on campus.
- aeri walked toward you with determination, her hands gripping tightly onto your arm as she pulled you away from the girl you were talking to.
- "aeri? what are you doing?" you asked, but she didn’t respond, her gaze fixed on the girl you had been talking to. the girl, sensing the tension, met aeri’s glare with equal intensity.
- "i'm still talking to her, can't you see?" the girl said, her tone sharp, but aeri only smiled mockingly, her eyes never leaving the girl.
- "and I'm talking to her now, so." aeri said, making a dismissive gesture with her hand, her smirk never wavering.
- "just because you're popular and all, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want," the girl shot back, but aeri just rolled her eyes, clearly unfazed by the comment.
- "blah, blah, blah. I'm pregnant and she's the father, so don't intervene between couples," aeri said nonchalantly, leaving the girl stunned and confused. without waiting for a response, aeri dragged you toward the empty gym.
- you, equally as confused, looked at aeri before asking, "you're pregnant? with who?" aeri slapped you gently, her eyes narrowing as she made you look at her, only leaving you even more confused.
- "you're the only one who fucked me, that's impossible. anyways, i am pregnant yes, but." she held a hand up, stopping you from speaking.
- she continued, "that was love we made that night and now i bore love and obsession towards you and you have to take responsibility for it." she said with a grin, observing as your expression shifted from confusion to sudden realization.
- "oh...oh!" aeri nodded.
- your eyes met hers and it was looking at you with softness you've never seen before. it made you feel warm and fuzzy that it made you giddy. smiling like a fool as you looked down, your cheeks reddening. aeri marvelled at the sight and laughed heartily at your reaction. her laugh echoed in your ear, it was genuine and infectious and you love to hear it more.
- "can i court you then, miss aeri uchinaga?" you asked, looking up to meet hers.
- aeri nodded, and you both shared a long hug, the insecurities between you dissipating as the thick fog in your relationship finally cleared.

THE STADIUM HUMS with energy, a low, buzzing excitement that rattles in your chest. banners flap in the warm breeze, some with your name printed across them in marker and glitter. it still feels a little surreal, standing here with a ball tucked under your arm, jersey clinging to your back.
somewhere in the stands, you know aespa’s here. your girls. karina, minjeong, ning, and aeri are packed into the front rows, shouting your name like crazy fans. you catch a glimpse of them when you jog past the sideline, and it makes something tight and sweet curl in your stomach.
you give them a smile and even from the distance, you see aeri laughing. she’s cupping her hands around her mouth to yell something you can’t quite catch.
the whistle blows. the game kicks off. and just like that, you’re in it. weaving through the field, your body moving on muscle memory alone. you can feel the weight of a hundred eyes on you, but it doesn’t shake you. it fuels you. this is your stage too.
you fake left, spin right with the ball glued to your foot like it was made for you, and when you slide it past the keeper into the net, the roar that the crowd erupts into is almost deafening.
you glance at the stands and there’s aeri, standing up, hands cupped around her mouth again, screaming her head off for you.
your heart stutters.
you flash her a smile and sprint back into position, already hungry for more.
you don’t slow down. not for a second. there’s a scramble near the middle of the field and you’re there, cutting through defenders like you were born to do it. someone lunges for you. you dodge, slipping past with a sharp turn that leaves the crowd gasping.
“what a move!” the announcer yells, voice crackling through the stadium speakers.
“and she’s off! she’s making it look easy out there!”
you don’t even hear it properly. you’re locked in. focused. there’s only you, the ball, and the goal.
twenty yards out, you let it fly. a perfect, soaring shot that hovers just over the keeper’s fingers and slams into the back of the net.
for a second, there’s silence. stunned silence. and then the whole stadium explodes.
you punch the air, smiling so wide it hurts, and when you turn toward the stands, you catch sight of aeri again. she’s losing it, jumping up and down, grabbing karina’s shoulders, and screaming something you can’t hear but you feel anyway.
“three goals for y/n! unbelievable performance today!”
you jog back towards the center circle, breathless with sweat dripping down your temples. and still, somehow, all you can think about is the way aeri’s eyes found you, shining like there was a galaxy inside of them. and maybe for you, there was.
but the clock’s ticking down and most of the other players are tired, dragging their feet with exhaustion.
but not you. you’re running on pure adrenaline now.
the ball bounces loose, and you’re on it in a flash. a defender tries to block you but you flick the ball through her legs it was so clean the entire crowd cheers.
“oh, come on! she’s showing off now!” the announcer laughs, the excitement in his voice making your smile widen.
you don’t slow down. you don’t hesitate. without letting the ball touch the ground, you kick it straight into the top corner of the net.
the stadium screams.
it’s loud enough to shake your body. you throw your arms wide, laughing, soaking it in. the cheers. the flash of cameras. the way your teammates attack you with a clumsy, sweaty hug.
off to the side, you see your girls again. karina has both hands over her mouth, minjeong’s smacking ning’s arm, and aeri’s just standing there, staring at you in awe.
you smile at her again.
but you can’t see her reaction as your teammates begin to cheer you on.
you’re more than tired when the final whistle blows. your body feels heavy, muscles aching in a way that feels like tomorrow’s gonna hurt even worse. but right now, none of it matters. you won. and you crushed it.
you shuffle off the field, high fiving a few players and waving at the still cheering crowd. your jersey sticks to your skin, your hair’s a mess, and your legs threaten to buckle with every step.
and then you hear it.
"y/n!"
you turn just in time to see aeri running towards you, slipping past a poor security guard. she’s got your water bottle in one hand and a towel in the other, and when she reaches you, she doesn’t even hesitate. she throws her arms around you, squeezing tight despite how gross you probably are.
"you were insane out there. i think i fell in love with you all over again.” she mumbles into your shoulder, voice thick with pride.
your heart stutters.
again.
you pull back just enough to look at her, breathless. "you’re not supposed to be down here, you know.” you tease, but it’s weak. you’re already leaning into her touch without thinking.
aeri just smiles, bright and unbothered. "sue me."
she presses the cold water bottle to your cheek, making you flinch and laugh. and the way she looks at you, soft and a little dangerous, has heat blooming under your skin faster than any run down the field ever could.
"let’s get you cleaned up.” she says, hooking her fingers through yours.
the ride back to the dorm is a blur. mostly. you're zoning out, replaying every moment of the game in your head like a highlight reel. but the ache in your muscles keeps pulling you back into the present.
and then there's aeri, who’s sitting next to you and barely letting go of your hand.
"you okay?" she asks quietly, eyes flicking over your tired face. you nod, but she’s still not convinced. she never is.
"hey, we’re all going out for dinner to celebrate.” karina says from the front seat, voice cheerful as she turns to smile at you.
"yes! you deserve a feast, y/n!” ning chimes in, buzzing with energy.
you smile at the idea of food, but the thought of walking into a restaurant after everything, sweaty and sore, sounds like too much right now.
"thanks, guys. but i think i’ll shower first. catch up with you later?” you say, voice soft.
karina nods, giving you a knowing look. “take your time. we’ll wait."
the car pulls up to the dorm and as soon as you step out, you’re hit with that familiar mixture of exhaustion and relief. but before you can step inside, aeri stops you while tugging lightly on your sleeve. “hey, can i stay with you for a bit?"
you glance at her, raising an eyebrow. "you sure you don’t wanna go with the others?"
she smiles and shakes her head. "nah. i’ll make sure you’re good. go shower."
there’s something in her eyes that makes you hesitate for just a second. something soft and warm, but you don’t push it.
"okay.” you murmur, heading toward the dorm.
the bathroom door clicks shut behind you and as soon as you step into the shower the hot water is like a dream, easing the soreness in your muscles. the steam fills the room and as you stand there, eyes closed, you let yourself relax for the first time all day.
but the sound of the door creaking open has you stiffenin despite how comfortable you feel in the warmth.
"aeri?"
you hear her voice, soft and just a little teasing. "i’m just making sure you’re okay. can’t let you pass out in there, right?"
she’s standing just outside the shower and when you peek out, you can see her leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed casually.
there’s a moment of silence.
"besides, i wanna make sure you’re treated right after all that work out there. you deserve to be pampered."
the words land like a spark, making your heart race just a little faster. you laugh softly, feeling the tension in your chest release but it only seems to heighten as you see the look in aeri’s eyes. the way she’s watching you, like she’s waiting for something.
“you don’t have to.”
aeri doesn’t answer immediately. instead, she steps closer, her fingers brushing the towel hanging beside the shower. she holds your gaze for a moment, lips barely parted.
"it’s okay. i want to." she murmurs.
the hot water soothes your body but the way aeri stands just outside the shower. she’s close enough for you to feel her presence but she’s not quite touching you. it has your pulse racing. she watches you as you finish rinsing off, gaze warm and steady.
you finish with the shower and a soft sigh escapes your lips when you step out, the cool air hitting your skin. aeri’s still leaning casually against the doorframe but now she’s watching you more intently, like she’s memorizing every movement you make.
"all done?" her voice is low.
you nod, grabbing the towel from the hook. "yeah... just need to dry off."
you don’t miss the way her eyes flicker to your wet hair, and the way her lips twitch as if she’s holding back something.
"you’re lucky i’m here. i’m gonna make sure you’re good to go, y/n. you deserve it.” she says softly, taking a step closer.
there’s a warmth in her voice that makes your chest tighten. but before you can answer, she’s already reaching for your damp hair, fingers brushing softly over your scalp as she pulls a towel through it. the touch is light at first, just drying the ends, but then her hands slow, fingers massaging your scalp with care.
you let out a soft, almost involuntary hum of satisfaction.
"that feel good?" aeri asks, her voice just above a whisper now. the heat between you two was building with every second.
"yeah. feels… nice.” you murmur, closing your eyes for a moment.
her hands work through your hair, touch deliberate and gentle. but there’s something lingering in the way she moves. something that feels almost too close. her fingers trace the line of your neck, lingering longer than necessary, and you can’t help but shiver.
aeri doesn’t pull away. instead, she leans in slightly, just enough for her breath to brush against your ear.
"you’re so pretty when you’re relaxed.” she says softly, the words warm and soothing. but there’s an edge to her tone that makes your stomach flutter.
you turn your head slightly, meeting her eyes and there’s a pause. a shift in the air that hangs between you two. the tension is thick now, heavy in the space around you.
aeri doesn’t break eye contact. instead, she steps even closer, her body just inches from yours. the heat between you two is undeniable now.
"you know, i’ve wanted to take care of you like this for a while.” she says, voice soft but filled with something you can’t quite place.
your heart skips a beat.
“what do you mean?" you ask, your voice barely more than a breath.
aeri’s smile is almost teasing but there’s a depth to it. something vulnerable behind the playfulness. "you’re so strong, y/n. but even strong people need someone to help them out."
the way she says it makes your chest tighten again, and you can feel her presence so close to yours that it’s almost overwhelming.
before you can respond, she takes a step back. like she’s giving you space to breathe but the heat in the room doesn’t fade.
"you can relax, okay? i’ve got you.” she murmurs, her voice steady but still laced with something soft. almost tender.
you stare at her for a second, still catching your breath. from the shower, from the match, from the way aeri’s looking at you like you’re something precious.
something she wants to protect and ruin all at once.
you should move. should grab some clothes, dry off properly, say something casual to break the moment.
but you don’t.
you just stand there, towel loose in your hands, skin still warm from the water but burning even hotter under her gaze.
aeri’s eyes drag slowly over you, mouth parting slightly like she’s about to say something. then thinking better of it. she closes the space between you two in a careful, deliberate step instead.
her hand lifts to your jaw, touch light, thumb tracing along the edge of your cheekbone. you lean into it without thinking.
"so pretty.” she whispers again. she looks like she’s about to scold herself for saying it.
but she doesn’t stop.
her fingers trail down slowly, brushing over your throat, your collarbone, like she’s memorizing you.
your breath catches. the towel in your hands almost drops to the floor.
"you’re tired. you should rest.” she murmurs, more to herself than to you.
you don’t answer. can’t.
ecause she’s still touching you. softly, carefully, and the way she’s looking at you makes it feel like rest is the last thing on either of your minds.
"lay down.” she says gently, like a command in a whisper.
you let her guide you by the wrist, touch sure but patient. she pulls you toward the bed and you let her, heart pounding in your ears.
you sit on the edge, muscles aching, body heavy with exhaustion and something else. something thick and electric humming just beneath your skin.
aeri kneels down in front of you, hands sliding up your calves slow and steady as if she’s checking for injuries.
when her thumbs press into the tense muscles of your legs, you hiss a little under your breath, the tension unraveling all at once.
"poor baby. you really gave them a show, huh?” she coos, voice thick with something dark and sweet.
you don’t trust yourself to speak. you just nod, biting your lip as her fingers work higher, kneading the soreness out of you with care.
her touch is steady and careful. but the way she keeps looking up at you with hooded eyes and that half smile? it’s anything but innocent.
"let me take care of you.” she says again, voice dropping lower and rougher.
not a question. not a suggestion.
a promise.
you nod before you even realize you’re doing it. your body answers before your mind can catch up.
her lips curve into a slow smile, almost like she knew you’d give in. like she’s been waiting for this moment just as long as you have.
her hands trail higher, deliberately massaging up your thighs now. your skin tingles everywhere she touches, a slow burn blooming underneath her palms.
you shift on the bed without meaning to, thighs parting slightly. an invitation. a surrender.
aeri notices. god, she notices.
her hands pause at the tops of your thighs, fingertips grazing the edge of the towel still loosely draped around your body.
she doesn’t rush. doesn’t push.
just leans in, face close enough that you feel the warm brush of her breath against your bare skin.
"you’re trembling. poor thing. i should be more gentle, huh?” she murmurs, voice low and deliciously teasing. her fingers stroke tiny, light circles into your thighs.
you let out a shaky exhale, barely managing to nod.
but aeri only smiles, leaning closer until her nose grazes your knee. it’s a soft, almost innocent touch, but the heat behind it is anything but.
"you worked so hard today. don’t you think that you deserve to be spoiled a little?” she says, almost purring the words against your skin.
your hand fists in the sheets. you’re caught between wanting to pull her closer and wanting to pull her up to kiss you senseless.
but aeri’s calling the shots tonight. and the glint in her eye says she knows it.
she trails slow, barely there kisses up your thigh, pausing every so often to bite gently. not enough to hurt, but enough to make you twitch under her mouth.
"you’re so sensitive.” she hums, almost to herself, like she’s cataloging every little reaction you give her.
like she’s savoring you.
your head falls back against the mattress, a helpless little sound slipping out before you can stop it.
aeri chuckles softly, pleased.
"just relax, baby. i’m gonna take such good care of you.” she murmurs, voice thick with promise.
her hands slide up, tugging the towel just a little looser. not pulling it away. not yet. teasing the edge of your control.
and when she finally presses a slow, open mouthed kiss higher up your inner thigh, dangerously close but still not quite where you’re burning for her, you swear you could come undone just from the anticipation alone.
you arch into her instinctively, a broken little plea slipping from your lips. but aeri just looks up at you through her lashes, gorgeous and devastating.
"patience, pretty girl. let me make you feel good first.” she whispers, her voice wrecking you more than any touch could.
you whimper under your breath, the sound escaping before you can catch it. and that’s all aeri needs.
with one smooth tug, she peels the towel from your waist, tossing it aside like it’s nothing. like you’re the only thing she wants to look at.
and god, the way her eyes drink you in. it’s enough to make your whole body flush hot.
"so fucking pretty.” she breathes, voice rougher now, laced with want.
she palms your thighs, spreading you open with a firm, steady grip, and you let her. no resistance, no hesitation.
you’re hers. completely.
aeri leans in, kissing a slow, lazy trail up your thigh again, but this time there’s no detour. no hesitation.
her mouth finds the soft, aching part of you and when her tongue slides out to lick one slow, devastating stripe up your cunt, you nearly sob her name.
"fuck—“ you gasp, hands flying to her hair, threading through the dark strands.
aeri moans low against you, the vibration making your hips jerk up into her mouth. and fuck, she sounds addicted already.
like she’s been dreaming of this, craving this, needing this.
her tongue moves in slow, deliberate strokes at first, savoring you, lapping at you like she’s got all the time in the world.
she teases your clit with just the tip of her tongue, circling it maddeningly slow, pulling the softest, most desperate sounds from you without even trying.
"aeri, please. need more—“ you pant, tugging at her hair.
she hums again, the sound dark and satisfied, and finally she gives you what you’re begging for.
her mouth seals around your clit, sucking hard enough to make your whole body jolt, pleasure shooting through you so sharp and sweet you see stars.
her fingers slide up, slipping between your folds, finding you soaked and desperate and she groans low in her throat like she can’t fucking believe how wet you are for her.
"god, you’re perfect.” she murmurs against you, before pushing a finger inside. slow, deep, knuckle by knuckle, making you arch and moan her name like a prayer.
she moves in perfect rhythm, fucking you slow and deep with her fingers while her mouth works your clit relentlessly.
she builds you up like she knows your body better than you do. like she already knows every twitch, every shaky breath, every broken sound.
"you can take it, baby.” she whispers, sliding a second finger in, stretching you deliciously wide and making your hips buck helplessly.
"you’re doing so good for me."
the heat coiling low in your stomach tightens, tighter, your whole body trembling now.
"let’s go for me, pretty girl. want you to cum all over my mouth.” aeri coaxes, voice a low rasp.
it’s the way she says it. low and commanding, that finally pushes you over the edge.
your body shakes, pleasure crashing through you in thick, overwhelming waves.
you cry out, hips jerking and hands fisting in her hair, riding her mouth and fingers through it as your orgasm rips through you.
aeri doesn’t stop.
she licks you through it, slow and steady, letting you ride out every last second, drinking you in like she’s starving for you. when you finally collapse back against the bed, she pulls back just enough to look at you. her lips slick and her eyes are dark and shining with pure adoration.
she presses a soft kiss to your thigh, then another to your hip, working her way up your trembling body with slow, lingering kisses until she’s hovering over you, forehead resting against yours.
you’re still panting, still trembling, but she just smiles, brushing your hair back from your sweaty forehead.
"all good, baby?”
your body feels heavy, strung out, muscles trembling with the beginnings of soreness that you know is going to catch up to you later.
you try to blink the stars from your eyes, still panting, but even through the haze, you see the way aeri’s looking at you. so soft yet so hungry, like she wants you all over again.
you reach for her blindly, fingers curling in the neckline of her shirt, tugging weakly.
"your turn.” you mumble, voice hoarse but certain.
aeri blinks, startled, already shaking her head.
"baby, you’re tired. you should rest—"
"want you. please. let me.” you whisper.
for a second, she just stares at you. like she’s torn between protecting you and letting you have what you’re begging for. then she exhales slowly, climbing onto the bed, hovering above you.
"okay. but slow. we go slow, yeah?” she says softly.
you nod, already reaching for her. aeri lets you push her down onto her back, amiling a little when you clumsily tug her shirt off.
you don’t stop there. you’re fumbling with the hooks of her bra and she allows you to, watching with a smile you don’t think ever left her face.
like this was in her wildest dreams.
you can’t help but lean down, pressing soft, open mouthed kisses to her chest. you don’t rush. you can’t. your whole body feels heavy, aching in a way that demands you move carefully. and aeri’s so patient, hands cradling your hips, guiding you, grounding you when you start to tremble.
you trail your hand down her stomach, finding her already soaked and already aching for you.
she lets out the softest gasp when your fingers brush her, she’s so sensitive and so ready. it sends a rush of heat straight through you, pushing away the exhaustion just a little.
"just like this. take your time, gorgeous. ‘m not going anywhere.” aeri murmurs, one hand sliding into your hair.
you stroke her slowly and gently, thumb brushing over her clit in soft circles, careful not to overdo it.
she melts under you, hips rolling into your hand in lazy, desperate movements, mouth falling open on a shaky moan.
"need you to cum for me, aeri.” you breathe against her skin.
her body answers before her mouth can. she’s shuddering and gasping, thighs tensing around your hand.
you keep the rhythm slow and steady, pressing kisses to her chest, her neck, anywhere you can reach.
it doesn’t take long.
with a soft, broken cry, aeri cums for you, hands fisting in the sheets and whole body trembling with it, completely overwhelmed by the slow, aching pleasure you’re giving her.
you kiss her through it, humming soft praises against her skin. “so good. so beautiful. mine.”
when she finally relaxes, you collapse beside her with a soft whimper, your muscles giving out completely. aeri moves instantly, wrapping you up in her arms and pulling you close until your face is tucked against her chest.
"got you. you’re okay, baby. you did so good for me.” she whispers, threading her fingers through your hair and stroking slow, soothing lines down your back.
you can feel her heart beating against your cheek, steady and strong. she smells like something warm and safe that makes your whole body relax without thinking.
aeri kisses your forehead, your temple, your shoulder, anywhere she can reach without disturbing you too much. soft, light kisses that are more comforting than words.
you mumble something into her skin. you’re not even sure what. and she just shushes you gently, one hand massaging lazy circles into the small of your back.
"you’re amazing, you know that? so strong and so beautiful. i’m so proud of you.” she says, voice barely above a whisper.
you blink at her, dazed and overwhelmed in a different way now. not with pleasure, but with love.
"love you.” you mumble without thinking. it spills out of you like a secret you can’t hold in anymore.
aeri’s hands still for half a second and then she’s smiling, so soft and  beautiful it makes your heart hurt.
"love you more.” she whispers, leaning in to kiss you. it’s slow, deep, and unhurried. like there’s nowhere else in the world she’d rather be.
"just sleep. i’m right here.” she whispers.
and you don’t even fight it. you let her touch lull you, breathing her in, feeling the soft weight of her love wrap around you like a blanket.
you fall asleep to the feeling of her arms around you, her lips brushing your hair, her hands never stopping their slow, soothing movements.
and there was no where else in the world you’d rather be either.

sorry the jeaneil getting out of the nest and dating jeremy is really eating my brain please continue. like barely surviving and meeting jeremy who loves collecting birds with broken wings………. jeremy who barely pulled himself out of his family’s grasp to go pro and understands how they barely pulled themselves out of the ravens grasp……
YES YES You understand me anon! You and me are mind-melding right now!
Jean and Neil have been together for years. Ichirou has his Assets sign with the team closest to his business so he can keep them on a leash. Kevin is on his own leash, on a different team with Riko. :( Because I am evil to my precious baby.
BUT Jeremy is on Jean and Neil's team. He is not the captain of it (yet, he will be one day but he's too new to playing on a pro level) but he recognizes the brokenness of these two ex-Ravens. Jean and Neil are one entity, but Jean has had a crush on Jeremy for years. And Jeremy will not leave them alone. (Not in a creepy way but in a sort of overbearing friend way. He wants them to be alright and he can tell they are very much not.)
Like okay, in canon we see how Jean reacts to being out of the nest and getting to be a Person for the first time. This would be double as bad because there's two of them, both horribly socialized except for their little bubble of codependency. (And Kevin, of course.)
But Jeremy is friends with Kevin and he's never acted like Jean or Neil. This is so weird to Jeremy. But Kevin has had the press training. He knows how to pretend. These two... they do not. And they don't care to learn. They do not mingle with their new teammates. When there is downtime at practice they only speak to one another, in French. Which Jeremy starts trying to sneakily learn a bit of. When he tries it out on them for the first time he's met with twin icy stares. He apologizes for butchering the language and Jean is like "It actually wasn't terrible" but Neil says "Don't speak to us at all." (Don't say the word 'butcher' around him, Jere. </3)
And Jeremy is like "Okay... Great. See you later then." And goes home, lying in bed that night like 'well I fucked that up real good :('. Jeremy is far from all his old USC friends and his family doesn't want him anymore— he made sure of that and got the fuck out of California, hardly looking back. So he acts really happy but he's so lonesome it almost kills him.
Perhaps one day a few months in Bryson shows up outside their stadium, having at last been cut off from Mathilda's money, and he wants to mooch off Jeremy— who's making Pro Money. And he won't take no for an answer. Until Jean and Neil come around the corner and Jean waylays the motherfucker, throwing him onto the hood of his and Neil's shared toyota. Neil pulls a knife a second later and says something in French to Jean.
"Who is he, Jeremy?" Jean asks and it's the very first time he's said 'Jeremy' and Jeremy is floating outside of his body. But he tells them it's his brother, while Bryson struggles to breathe with Jean's hand around his neck. The word 'brother' means very little to either of them, because they grew up with Riko and Kevin's horrific display of 'brotherhood'.
"Do I need to kill him?" Neil asks, as if asking if he should make a pot of coffee. Jeremy tells him no with a frantic shake of his head. And Jean throws him off the car onto the pavement instead.
"Get the fuck out of here and never come near Jeremy again. Next time I will let Neil gut you. And by the time they find your body, there will be nothing to identify." Jean tells him. Bryson exits stage left, getting in his car and speeding away like his life depends on it— it does. And Neil puts his knife away. The two ex-birds start to get in their car. To leave. To just LEAVE after possible saving Jeremy from getting the shit beat out of him.
He stops them. Asks if he can go with them. He doesn't know if he can drive right now, the nerves. The two share a look and allow him to come. Jean and Neil's apartment is tiny but efficient. It looks more like a dorm room than an apartment fitting two grown men. Jeremy is like "You guys are modest, huh?"
"It is more than enough." Jean tells him. Neil says something to Jean and makes himself scarce. (Neil knows his partner is into Jeremy. He doesn't mind too much. Especially know that he knows Jeremy is the human equivalent of a CareBear and won't hurt Jean.)
Jeremy rambles a little about his backstory, Jean tells him he knows— when they got together Kevin gave them the Jeremy Coke Orgy Articles and Neil read them to Jean, eliminating the need for him to muddle through all that offensive English. Jean knows what happened and Jeremy mentions that Bryson is the reason he was on drugs in the first place.
"Then you should have let us kill him." Jean says. It is not said as a joke, but Jeremy laughs anyway. It's a pathetic, sad little laugh. Then he tells Jean about Noah and Jean's heart hurts. His baby sister is lost forever, as is Jeremy's brother.
"I can't lose another one. Even if he's like that." Jeremy says and Jean sees the broken version of Jeremy he usually tucks away.
"Stay with us tonight. In case your brother knows your home address." Jean offers. Jeremy accepts and stays a little longer than he needs to. Eventually he ends up asking them to just come and stay with him instead. And they do.
Jeremy's place is huge. Neil thinks it's ridiculous how much space one man has got but Jean feels like he can breathe in his place; it's big enough that he doesn't feel out of place. He's not claustrophobic here.
But there is a new problem: Jeremy's partners. ("They are not your partners.") After they're in his space, Jeaneil see how Jeremy lets himself be treated and decide that has to stop. Fucking immediately. They take him out somewhere decent or maybe to a movie. Basically it is a date but Jeremy has no idea he's being wooed. And before going to their room Jean tells Jeremy "It could always be like this" and kisses his cheek.
Jeremy's hand comes up to cover that tingling spot on his face and he has his "Oh." moment. Which he immediately messages the floozies about.
Anyway, broken birds and discarded soldiers. And Kevin eventually slips his leash too. Possibly because Andrew Minyard happened to sign with his team and kill Riko. You know, just goalie things. <3
This got so long. Anyway! If I had the braincells I would write a 100k of this. Because I have not known her long but I love this AU now! (I literally just wrote it in the last like... hour. And I'm in love. TWT)

your home is the sea, my home is you ~ pirate! giselle
a/n: after almost seven months (good LORD), we have a third pirate aespa fic!!! and everyone cheered!!! this may be one of my favorite works of the year, there's something so tender and sincere in this fic that I can't quite put my finger on. anyways, gonna go watch Hugh Jackman edits on repeat until I get more fic ideas! 🫶
tw: mentions of robbery, violence, and other crimes associated with being a pirate, a LOT of swearing, the faintest hint of winselle, it's not angst but it gets sad at times???
summary: Your idea for your latest novel has you ruminating on your previous relationship with the woman who haunts your dreams, Giselle. Giselle's longing for a missing piece of her heart leads her to your front doorstep. She just has to hope that you won't close your heart to her, just as she did to you years ago.

A cool ocean breeze wraps around her neck as the chill of the night starts to seep into her bones. Every part of her is screaming to run, to go far away from the things that scare her.
But what is life without a little bit of adventure?
You watch the pendulum in your grandfather clock swing forward as the next words flow easily onto the paper.
She wanted to experience the adventure of the ocean, to let her heart travel with the ocean waves that beckoned her forward. But what was she to do? Abandon her family? Leave the familiarity of her hometown behind?
Leave them behind? The one person who supported them through thick and thin?
The pendulum swings back as you stare at the candlelight in your bedroom.
Rosella had a choice to make, one that would decide her entire destiny. A friend, or a lifetime of fulfillment?
Their call was strong, but the ocean’s was stronger.
~
With one hand on your naval revolver and the other on your bag, your feet hit the ground with increasing frequency as you run towards the docks. You had a deadline to meet with your time and your writing. The traveling night market was in town tonight, and within their merry caravan of travelers was your editor. A shrewd old woman with a sharp tongue who had been your mentor since you had abandoned your studies to pursue writing as a career.
I would’ve stayed if Giselle stayed.
You shake your head at the thought of your childhood best friend - you were nothing but a fleeting nostalgic memory to her, so she should be the same to you.
The book, the market - I have to hurry.
Unfortunately, the night market only accepted incoming foot traffic until midnight, and according to your grandfather clock, it was a centimeter past eleven-fifty. Your home was ten minutes away from the docks - you’d be cutting it close if you were simply walking.
~
“You’re early.” The guard jokes as you pull out the business card that Merrin, your editor, gave to you. “She still edits your books?”
“As long as I keep writing them.” You fold your arms as the guard stares at the card. “Can I go in?”
“Try to make it quick - she’s in one of those moods again.”
You pluck the card from their hand before waving at them.
“She’s always in a mood, but I have to hope that it’s a good one.”
You greet the various merchants and regulars that pass by you - most of them are familiar with your work, even if you use a moniker instead of your real name. It isn’t hard to deduce who the newest novelist on the block is when you know their publisher by name.
“When’s the new novel coming?” One shouts at you as you chuckle to yourself. “The last one really pulled on my heartstrings, and I need a bit of a pick-me-up before I go for a second read.”
“You’ll get your hands on it as soon as everyone else does.” You reassure them as they jokingly scoff and walk away.
Oh, the bliss of only being recognized by a small crowd of people.
You stop in front of the last tent on the docks - a large purple cloth hangs over the rods and poles that make up the foundation of the tent. Angry red vines dart over various parts of the tent, but none dare to cross each other.
You take a deep breath before entering the tent.
Hopefully her mood won’t sour mine.
“You’re earlier than usual. Did you get sick and tired of begging the guard to let you in until I would show up and save your ass?” Merrin, dressed in a conservative, frilly white dress, lights a candle with one hand as she balances on her cane with the other.
“Does your bad mood have to do with whoever’s wedding you interrupted?” You bite your lip as she slowly turns toward you.
“If my glasses were on me, I’d knock you to the floor with my cane.” She hobbles over to another table to light another candle as you approach the middle of the room. “And I thought this dress looks nice on me.”
“Yeah, if you were a fourteen-year-old noble who was forced to marry a man decades older than her.” Another sharp look from Merrin causes you to shut your mouth before she fulfills her early promise. “Are you in the mood to read something I’ve written?”
“Depends on if it’s better than the utter shit I’ve been reading all day.” Merrin sets her cane aside as she sits on one of the two chairs near the middle of the room. “Hand me my glasses, will you?”
“Don’t hit me with your cane, you old witch.” You pick her glasses up off of the floor before handing them to her.
“Why, I ought to-” She quickly grabs her cane, which causes you to immediately sit in the chair on her left.
You’re both playing with each other - she won’t hit you that hard, and you won’t completely piss her off. It’s just the way that Merrin is, and if you’re careful, you can break down her walls and see the woman behind the anger and sass.
As you look over to her, Merrin lightly taps your ankle with her cane as a rare smile appears on her face.
“How’s the novel coming? More progress than scribbles and midnight thoughts, I hope?” She looks surprised as you pull a bundle of parchment from your bag.
“I managed to get a chapter out, but it’s a rough draft, Merrin.” You remind her as you hand her the papers. “It isn’t very good-”
“-that’s for me to decide.” She says as she grabs the papers and adjusts the glasses on her face.
“I-” You interject before she gives you a pointed glare.
“Shut your damn mouth so I can read in peace.”
~
Sometimes you wonder why you chose Merrin as your editor - a form of punishment, perhaps?
That’s what you feel like you’re doing to yourself as she carefully scans every single word on the pages that you scribbled on. A spotlight has closed in on you, and you’re sweating under the pressure. What will you do if she rejects you again after this draft? Will you finally part ways with the woman who helped you find a path when you were nothing but an empty wanderer?
Merrin clears her throat as your attention snaps back to her.
She thinks it’s terrible - I’m never going to live this latest failure down.
“This is quite good.” She softly says as she reorganizes the papers for you.
“I beg your pardon?”
“And I thought I was the one with bad hearing, being old and all.” She snorts as you reach for the papers from her extended hand.
As soon as your hand touches them, Merrin snatches them out of your reach with a knowing smile.
“I have one question about the main character.”
“Alright, lay it on me.” You sigh in relief as you can mentally prepare yourself for her critiques.
Rosella was hardly fleshed out, and she had little-to-no dialogue to give perspective into her motivations, ideals, and personality. Perhaps Merrin could help you with that?
“What woman inspired you to write Rosella?” She asks as you furrow your brows in confusion.
“Excuse me?”
“Answer the damn question.”
“I, uh…” You nervously look around, trying to think of an escape route. “She’s based on a friend, from long, long ago.”
You stress that this woman was long behind you, and there was absolutely nothing to worry about. It’s not like she would show back up in your life after years and years of silence.
“Well, if you see this friend from a long, long time ago,” She stresses the words the same way you did, “tell her that she’s one hell of a protagonist.”
“I will.” You grit your teeth as your mind wanders to the woman in question.
I hope I never see her again.
~
Giselle scribbles various notes onto the map within the captain’s quarters. She used to be the primary navigator when the Red-Hair Pirates were nothing but an idea in Winter’s head.
“One day, this boat will be filled with pirates and friends we’ve collected in our travels,” Winter looked over to Giselle before placing a hand on her back, “and I’m going to need you to be by my side, every second of every day.”
Winter paused for a moment, before walking towards the ship and extending her hand to her.
“You have everything you ever need here - a good education, family, friends, and stability. I’m offering adventure until your heart's content, enough money to set your family up for life, and every kind of booze imaginable.”
“Even rum?” Giselle tilted her head at Winter, who gave her a toothy grin.
“Especially rum. So, are you in or what?”
“I’m in, I just… have to say some goodbyes first.”
Now, her role within the crew was more muddled, somewhat lying between weaponsmaster and navigator. Usually, she would sort out her navigating affairs in the morning, and then keep up with the weapons in the afternoon. The nighttime was reserved for merrymaking and hell-raising - just as Giselle liked it.
But there was a part of her missing, something she had been chasing with booze and adventure that couldn’t be replaced.
What was she missing?
“Giselle!” Karina barrels into the captain’s quarters as she nearly collides into the table.
“You’re still drunk.” She chuckles. “You can’t handle your liquor for shit.”
“And you prefer in that way, so you can scam me out of my money.” Karina scoffs before loudly hiccuping.
“Alright,” Giselle stops working and puts her hands up in the air, “I am a bit of a trickster, but we’re pirates, remember? It’s kind of our thing.”
“Eh.” Karina shrugs before throwing a book onto the desk where Giselle was working.
“What’s this?”
She studies the book for a moment before looking at Karina
“A gift from the Captain. Winter says to come see her after giving it a read.” Karina stumbles out of the door before loudly shutting it.
“Riveting conversation with a drunk Karina, like usual.” Giselle mumbles to herself. “I wonder why Winter would want me to read this?”
Her hands gently trace the spine as she studies the author’s name in bold ink.
It’s not one she recognizes, but perhaps she might know the writing style? Curious, Giselle carefully opens the book and begins to read.
~
It was mid-afternoon before Giselle exited the captain’s quarters, much later than usual. When she does, she immediately charges towards her quarters in a fury.
It takes every bone in Giselle’s body to stop her from ripping her room to shreds to find the letters that she had locked away years ago.
The letters that reminded her of you. The letters that had the same cadence and writing style that you did. Those letters tied you to her, and, at the moment, pointed to you as the author.
More than that, Giselle had come to the realization that Winter knew that the two of you were connected.
And that was more terrifying than confronting someone from her past.
Giselle finds the letters under her bed, and they’re carefully tied together with a bit of rope. She snatches them within an instant, and she tucks them under her arm before beginning her journey to find Winter.
“Giselle!” Ningning calls out to her as Giselle appears on the upper deck. “I had a question about some of the knives that I found in the gunroom.”
“Not the time.” Giselle charges right past her as she spots Winter on the quarterdeck.
“Is that the book Winter asked me to get you?”
Giselle, with no hesitation, turns on her heel to face the assassin.
“Of course she did!” She sighs before turning around. “Am I the one finding this out last when it’s my business?”
“If it comforts you, I didn’t ask for any details. I just grabbed the book and gave it to her.” Ningning plays with a knife in her hand as Giselle tightly squeezes the book in her left hand.
“Thanks.” She grumbles before calling out to Winter, “Hey, you have some explaining to do!”
“As do you!” Winter copies her volume, but she waits until Giselle comes closer to begin speaking in a softer tone. “Are they the reason why you tried to send letters back to your hometown from the different ports that we stopped in?”
“You knew about that?” Giselle stares, absolutely befuddled.
“I know when my friends aren’t themselves. I did a little digging, and I found a gold vein.” Winter looks out to the ocean. “You could’ve told me, you know. We could’ve worked something out.”
“But you needed me-”
“-I did, but I wouldn’t have asked you to come if I knew that your loyalties lied with someone else.”
Giselle physically deflates before confessing the truth to Winter.
“So you know that I was a part of the naval academy before I joined you.” Giselle looks away in shame, like a small puppy. “They were too, but we quit together-”
“-so you could chase your dreams together. You, an acclaimed mapmaker. Them, an accomplished novelist. Do I have the narrative right?” Winter raises an eyebrow at Giselle.
Not quite.
“I loved them.” Giselle bites her lip. “I love them.”
Panic covers Giselle’s face as she opens her mouth to speak.
“There it is,” Winter smirks before yelling to the crew, “Set sail to the west.”
“I’m doing you a favor, mind you. You need to figure this out before it ends with you getting yourself killed. I can’t stand to watch my crewmate, my friend, drink herself into an early grave.”
“So we’re doing this?” Giselle asks.
“You’re doing this.”
~
“The pirates are coming! The pirates are coming!” A man on a horse repeats the same phrase over and over as he passes by your estate.
Pirates? Here? Why?
No, it can’t be those pirates.
Your head snaps towards the nearest window that faces the docks. In the distance, you can see a large pirate show approaching your humble town.
And wouldn’t you know it, the flag on the ship shows a dead skull sporting some fire-red hair.
The Red-Hair Pirates.
The crew that Giselle’s a part of.
Shit.
You can see a group of villagers approach the docks from your side, and you’re sure a fight will break out - no, a bloodbath will occur - if someone doesn’t get down there and stop it.
Maybe that naval training will come into use.
~
“Your kind isn’t welcome here.” A villager points a large shotgun at Winter’s chest, and she seems unphased by his outburst.
“We’re not here to loot, we just want to rest.” She pulls out a gold coin and flips it into the air before grabbing it and offering it to the villager. “Our coin is good here, no?”
“I-” He pauses before studying the coin. “One night. And the only place that you can shop is the night market.”
“That sounds like our kind of place, right?” Winter turns to her pirates, who cheer loudly. “I’ll make sure they’ll behave, I swear.”
“You better.” He scoffs before spitting at the ground. “C’mon, we have better things to do than guard open docks.”
The villagers disperse, which causes Giselle to sigh in relief.
That’s a battle I didn’t want to fight.
“Alright, everyone, back on the ship until nightfall. We aren’t welcome here until then, so this boat better be spotless in a few hours!” Winter commands, and her crew scrambles back onto the ship as Winter pulls Giselle aside. “Do you know where you’re going?”
“I do, and I don’t need backup. I’ll be back before nighttime.” Giselle softly says before Winter grabs her shoulder.
“I’d like to meet your friend, if they want to meet me. Perhaps it can help explain why you left - take some of the blame off of your shoulders,” Winter shrugs, “Or I can just have a drink with a friend and a friend of a friend. Either works for me.”
They’re… leaving?
“Not sure I’d call us friends, but I’ll see what I can do.”
~
You watch from a distance as the villagers, your neighbors, disperse with varying emotions on their faces. Some look relieved, others seem pissed, but most appear to be indifferent.
As if killing another wasn’t a brutal act that weighed on your soul for as long as you lived.
A woman with striking red hair turns to the pirates on the dock, and with only a few words, she sends them back onto the ship.
Their captain - Winter, the pirate queen of myths and legends.
Infamous doesn’t even begin to describe Winter, as her face was neatly plastered on every wanted board across the nation. Her reputation of brutality nearly exceeds her generosity and kindness. She took from the rich government ships and gave to the poor towns that she traveled to.
Almost like a storybook character. Perhaps my next protagonist can take some of her qualities.
Before all of her crew can go back to the ship, Winter pulls one of them aside. A girl with blonde hair, but a face that you recognize. Not from the wanted posters that showed her with black hair and a devilish yet charming smile.
But a ghost from your past, the woman who you were hoping to escape from. The girl who had invaded your dreams every night since she left.
Your Rosella.
Giselle.
You want to turn away, to run back to the safety of your home, but you can’t. Not because you want to see Giselle, but because she’d follow you back home.
After all, it was her home too.
With a deep breath, and as much courage as you can muster, you let your feet carry you towards Giselle.
Towards your destiny.
Giselle’s eyes widen as she sees you walking towards her with an unreadable expression on your face. You’re not completely pissed, which is good, but you don’t look happy. You’re not sad, but there isn’t any longing in your eyes. There’s no indifference in your face, but when your eyes meet hers, a twinkle of nostalgia appears briefly.
~
Perhaps you missed her as much as she missed you.
“You look…” Giselle pauses as the two of you meet in the middle of the road. “Well.”
“Thanks.” You nod before looking out to the ocean. “I like your blonde hair. It suits you.”
“Thanks…” Giselle trails off while hoping that the road would open up and swallow her whole.
Why was it so hard to talk to you? She thought of a million things to say to you, but none of them seemed right.
So let’s start with the simplest one.
“I’m sorry.”
When the words leave her lips, you look over in surprise.
As if you thought that she meant to hurt you.
A dagger slices through her heart, as the wound that is your shared history is reopened again. She’s going to let herself drown in bad blood unless she says something else.
Something that will make this right.
Nothing will, she knows this. But why not try?
“I’m sorry for leaving you with such a shitty goodbye. I’m sorry for convincing you to leave the naval academy with me and then leaving you behind. I’m sorry that I never was able to return your letters.” She pauses to hand you them.
“You kept them?” You tilt your head at her. “After all of these years?”
“Of course I did.” She says before softly laughing. “It was the only reminder I had of home.”
“I thought the sea was your home.”
“No, my home was always you.” Giselle quietly mumbles. “I wanted to explore, to see the world, but I wanted to come back home.”
“Why didn’t you write me back?” Your voice is laced with hurt, and Giselle wants nothing more than to hold you in her arms.
But you’re not that close, not anymore.
“I tried to, but no letter carrier would take my money. Turns out that people aren’t fond of pirates,” She scoffs, “but I kept them all in my quarters. Perhaps you’d like to see them?”
A light smile appears on your face - you’re actually contemplating her offer.
“Would you like to see the home first? I don’t know if it has changed much-”
“-that sounds great.” Giselle lets out a breath she didn’t know she was holding.
A peace offering. An olive branch. Perhaps you can begin anew?
~
Months ago, you would’ve sworn at Giselle if she had set foot in your town, let alone in your house. That was before you finished the book, before a character in that book taught you something about forgiveness.
“Will you ever forgive me, my dear?” Rosella says to her beloved. “I know it’s been years, but I can’t help but yearn for you. Our souls are intertwined, and no amount of treasure will ever make up for losing you.”
“I… I don’t know. I don’t know if I can ever truly forgive and forget, but…”
“But?” A flicker of hope appears in Rosella’s eyes.
“But maybe there’s room for us to start again. If we’ve both healed from our past wounds, then what’s the use of bringing them up again?”
You watch Giselle comb over your bookshelf as you take a seat in the living room.
“You really didn’t change this place, huh?” She says before sitting at a chair on the opposite end of the room.
“It didn’t feel right. This is still your home, after all.” You say.
“Our home,” Giselle corrects you before her eyes widen, “shit. I didn’t mean to-”
You wave away her concerns with a charming smile.
“No, it’s alright.”
An awkward silence spreads over the room - what should you say to her now?
“Do I make you uncomfortable?” Giselle softly asks before looking in your eyes. “I don’t want to intrude if I’m not welcome.”
You take a deep breath - it’s time to address the massive elephant in the room.
“Giselle, I don’t want to do this back-and-forth with you. I want to talk about what happened between us.”
You’re surprised at how mature you sound, how non-malicious your words are. You had gone over this moment a thousand times in your head, but none of them were this nice or friendly.
“What is there to talk about? I ruined your life, no, our lives. I promised you that pirating was only a temporary thing, and you can see how that ended-”
“It pains me to see you tear yourself up about this, Giselle.” You calmly say as she pauses and reflects for a moment. “How can we move forward if we’re stuck reliving the past over and over?”
“You want to start again?”
Giselle looks dumbfounded as you nod.
“We might not be that close again, not for a long time, but we can try being friends. Then we’ll see where it goes.” You shrug your shoulders as she thinks for a moment before responding.
“Why would you let me get away with what I did to you? I left you alone for years, with not a word of my health and well-being. Why put yourself through that again?”
You chuckle to yourself as familiar words come to the front of your mind.
“Maybe there’s room for us to start again. If we’ve both healed from our past wounds, then what’s the use of bringing them up again?”
“From your book.” She responds wistfully before her eyes widen. “You wrote yourself as the love interest?”
“Uh-huh.” You nod as the realization comes crashing down on Giselle.
“And the girl, Rosella, who is strong, beautiful, and kind. The girl who messes up time after time yet she still manages to redeem herself - that’s me?”
“Yup.” You’re quiet for a moment, to allow Giselle to process everything. “Do you know why I chose you as my inspiration?”
“Why?” She leans forward as her voice quivers in anticipation. “Why me?”
“Because no matter how much I hated you, I could never get you out of my head. You haunted my every dream and nightmare. I couldn’t escape your grasp, so I wrote about the woman who had completely transfixed my mind, body, and soul.”
A breathy chuckle escapes your lips.
This is just like a confession that I would write in my book. The next thing she would say is I love you-
“I never stopped loving you.” She confesses before standing up.
You stand up to meet her gaze.
“Neither did I.”
~
“To be completely honest,” Winter says as you and Giselle approach the docks, “I didn’t expect you to come back.”
“You’re still my captain, Winter.” She smiles before gesturing to you. “This is my friend, the one I told you about.”
“Friend,” She stares at your intertwined hands, “right. Excuse my staring. It isn’t every day that you meet an author of legend.”
You feel your cheeks heat up.
“Ah, that’s sweet of you to say.” You nudge Giselle’s shoulder. “Why can’t you be as charming as her?”
“Hey-” She tries to defend herself, but Winter’s laughter cuts her off.
“Oh, I like them. They’d be a good addition to our crew.”
Your mouth hangs agape as you blink rapidly.
“You… you can’t be serious.”
“I’m afraid so, unless Giselle objects?” Winter turns to Giselle, who glances at you.
“It’s your decision. I won’t force it on you-”
“Yes,” You quickly answer, “but I’m not sure what use I would be to your crew.”
“We could use your writing and organizing skills to keep track of weapons, finances, maps, food, and other supplies on the ships. That means that you would be working closely with Giselle and I.” Winter explains as you nod along. “Plus there would be plenty of time for you to continue writing your latest masterpiece. I know you’re good with a gun - I can see the Navy’s engravings on the handle, so combat won’t be an issue for you.”
You quickly hide your gun holster with your coat.
“I hope you don’t take offense to my weapons background,” You say before leaning over to Giselle, “how the fuck does she know all of that?”
“Long story, I’ll explain after a drink or two,” Giselle whispers back, “but I’m glad that you’re going with us. It’ll be nice to show you to all of the places that we’ve been before.”
“Got it.” You smile before letting go of Giselle’s hand.
She reaches out to grab it, but you instead maneuver around her hand to give her a kiss on the cheek.
“I, um…” She struggles to articulate her feelings as a furious blush appears on her face.
Winter laughs loudly before gesturing towards the ship.
“We still have a few hours before nightfall. Perhaps we can celebrate with a drink?”
“Sounds good. You in?” You ask Giselle, who can’t even look you in the eyes.
“Yeah, I’ll be there.” Her face is still red as Winter walks to the ship.
“Feel free to join me when you’re ready.”
You go to follow behind her, but Giselle stops you by catching your arm with her hand.
“Hey, I-” She pauses to regain her composure, “Thank you, for this. I needed it.”
“It really isn’t a problem,” You say before leaning in to tease her, “but don’t expect me to kiss you every time you need a pick-me-up.”
“Damn, you know my schemes before I can properly plan them.” Giselle smirks before pulling you closer. “But I can always kiss you, right?”
She closes the distance between your lips before quickly pressing a kiss to your neck.
“Tease.” You grumble as she leans back.
“You started it, and I ended it.” She shrugs before her hand slips into yours. “We shouldn’t keep Winter waiting - we don’t want her to have a bad impression of you, right?”
You nod as Giselle leads you on to the ship.
As her crewmates greet you and welcome you onto the ship, you wonder if this new chapter of your life will be something to write about.
Maybe it’s time for my story to be told.

the nike shorts and messy hair are kinda giving cheerleader!nick showing up all sleepy for morning practice
YES I WAS THINKING THIS
and he’s late which he hates so he rushed from his dorm to the gym but bumps into jock!reader along the way who is on his morning run
You smile widely when you spot Nick walking towards you, “Nick!!” you yell, trying to catch his attention and you can hear him huff under his breath.
“Go away,” He says, as he walks past you, but you turn around to walk next to him.
“Where are you headed?” You ask, already knowing the answer.
“Practice” He mumbles groggily, running his fingers through his messy hair, and your heart skips a beat.
You chuckle, “Bit late, aren’t you?” you tease.
He stops, turning to look at you, “Why do you know what time cheer practice is?” He questions, folding his arms across his chest.
You shrug nervously, “Uh, no reason. You look really really good, by the way.” You say, taking in his appearance, and you have to stop yourself from imagining him in ungodly ways.
“Whatever,” he says, rolling his eyes as he continues towards the gym doors.
“So, I’ll see you later?” You say, smiling giddily.
“Hope not! Bye.” He says sarcastically without looking back, as he enters the gym.
and his cheer friends are gushing that jock!reader walked him to practice while he rolls his eyes playing it off like it’s nothing but he’s actually got butterflies from the compliment 🥰

a heaven out in space, our own heaven; give me your love, love cloud
heaven’s cloud; wen junhui x reader (fae!jun? peter pan!jun? man idfk)
i asked the sillies at maestronet who i should choose next and @wonkierideul said “JUNHUIIIIIIUUUIIII” so. here u go dani!!
wc: 640ish
mlist — 🎧 farewell neverland ʚɞ — peter pan au — @maestro-net
excerpt from where i describe seventeen’s voices but not in the way you expected: clouds, fluffy and tinged with pinks and oranges and light blue as the sun rises, but also fog, the kind that blankets the world in a soft chill
he’s ethereal. he’s baby’s breath and wildflowers. he’s freshly baked bread and soft cream and strawberries. he’s love and loss and heartbreak and honeymoon phases and he looks at you like you hung the stars in the sky. and you can’t help but feel a little guilty that such a beautiful creature is looking at you with such reverence, but he is, and it’s breathtaking
the boy in front of you watches the crabs scuttle in and out of their little caves, and when one trips and falls, he gently helps it up. it makes your heart squeeze, and you can’t help but watch him fondly
junhui makes you jealous. he so obviously loves and cherishes his inner child, because he lets his younger self thrive outwardly. it makes your heart cry, to see someone so unapologetically themselves, and you feel almost guilty. guilty that you’re jealous of junhui, who’s done nothing wrong, but also guilty that you haven’t taken care of your younger self as well as he has
junhui notices this, and pads over to you, holding a blanket outstretched. he wraps you in it, kisses your forehead, and lets you cry in his arms. he holds you like you’re made of glass, gentle yet firm. it’s okay, he whispers, it’s alright, they can’t hurt you anymore. you’re in neverland now. you’re safe
junnie?
he hums in response, sending a questioning glance your way
why did you come to neverland?
he purses his lips, sinking deep into thought. when he surfaces, you realize that the junhui you’re seeing isn’t the same junhui that you know and love
it’s the junhui that he was before he came to neverland
i…don’t know
tears pool in his eyes, and you rush to catch them. he smiles in appreciation, but it’s quickly replaced by frustration
i don’t know. one day i was there and then i fell asleep and i woke up and now i’m…here
he’s made of childlike wonder and sunshine and big, fluffy cumulus clouds. this is the jun that you know
but he’s also made of fog and tears and longing, melancholic and yearning to know who he is. he’s both of these, and you decide that you don’t love one jun more than the other. you want to love all of jun, his smiles and his tears
he takes your hand in his, and pulls you to the clearing
placing his hand on your waist, and yours on his shoulder, he begins to spin the two of you around
after a few minutes, junhui begins to sing
it’s hauntingly beautiful, not unlike the siren songs you’ve heard so much about
it’s your turn to gaze at him in muted awe. and how could you not?
to love jun is to know tenderness
to love jun is to know a love so gentle but so steadfast that it makes your heart ache. because god, are you afraid to break this boy. there’s something about him that makes you want to give him all the love and care in the world, and you know, somehow, that he feels the same way about you
there’s something about junhui that makes you want to kiss him gently, to convey everything you’ve been holding in but left unsaid, because you don’t want to scare him away
you want to cradle his face in your hands, as if he’s made of stained glass and butterfly wings
you want to let him know how much he means to you. how grateful you are that you found your way to neverland
and so you do
