Пожалуй начну с моего любимого на данный момент мультфильма "Приключения капитана Врунгеля", а именно с моего любимчика агента 00X

I'II probably start with my favorite cartoon at the moment, "The Adventures of Captain Vrungel", namely with my favorite agent 00X

Some illustrations by the cartoonist and art director Radna Sakhaltuev for an edition of Adventures of Captain Vrungel using the cartoon designs, I don’t know the date in which this was released.

The cover, in which Archibald Dandy looks very different:

Banditto and Gangsteritto. Though the latter was made up for the cartoon, both he and Banditto had become so beloved in the series they pretty much had to include them in this edition of the book, so they show up in illustrations throughout in the background or standing in for one-off antagonistic characters:

Not a big fan of Fuchs’s design here, but he’s still very cute, such as in this depiction of the Equator-crossing ceremony:

Lom looks much less uncanny, though, which is great, but this picture of him with chiseled abs feels very weird lol:

The figure on the right is probably meant to be Admiral Kusaki, the book’s antagonist who wasn’t included in the show, since this character shows up throughout the art, so this is the closest thing to an official design for him:

If you want to find the rest of these images, I have to warn you in advance that some of the illustrations, particularly in two chapters that were removed for the English translation, are very racist in how they depict indigenous people (and boy am I glad it didn’t pop up in the show), though strangely the text itself, which would’ve been written some 50 years before these illustrations were made, is not quite so terrible and I’m sure it was pretty nice for the 30’s, but that just makes these artworks baffling for how outdated they are in comparison, like, how do you do that…

Did you know that the famous captain Vrungel was planning a 3D game from the Action Forms company.

The game was considered a sequel to the cartoon. From 2006 to 2009, the game was developed and then canceled due to the crisis.

The video material belongs to Rostislav Garbar and Dima Pichu.

But I contacted one of the developers of the game. And it turned out that at one time the game was made and handed over to the 1C company, and that was all.

Vrungel (Wrongel) AU? Nah, never heard of it... Well then, let me tell you about it a little.😈

A couple of years ago I found out that a continuation of the story about the "БЕДА" team was once planned. This prompted me to think, "what if I come up with a sequel myself." And I wanted to touch on the original source (the book) in much the same way as the story in the animated series itself was built on its basis. With remaking the characters and moments in the book, of course.😹

For example, I pulled out of the book, in fact, the most important antagonist: Admiral (now retired) Hamura Kusaki, and sensitively modified him to suit my requirements. Since the Chief is losing the place of the main villain of the story, I had to find a more dangerous villain.

Because I love the heat of passion and action. :Р

It all starts with what the cartoon's narrative ends with: a chase.🏃‍♂

Since the new villain is preparing to implement a certain close-up plan that will affect the whole world and the people living in it, we can say that Agent 00X was abruptly interrupted from his pursuit of our mafia misadventures, because information came to the general staff that something bad was planned and it was necessary to follow the actions of the Admiral. And the case of who was behind the abduction of Venus was already solved, and all the people on the streets had time to buzz through word of mouth and that gossip spread and gained a foothold, so the agent could quickly switch to a new case, because "the villains will be caught anyway".

And the plot lies in how the gangsters ran into the Admiral's people by accident in one alley near the port/coast/pier, getting "in a hot hand", smashing their "goods" like whale oil, while they were trying to escape. They may also have a note to "respond" to the offenders.

In general, I think the agent would take a team of "БЕДА" and gangsters with the Chief: one part of the new team works perfectly on the water, and their paved path will go exactly along it, and Kusaki himself is very strongly connected with it; and the other part is familiar with the criminal activities of influential people firsthand, so if anything, they can be useful not only in the investigation of thr Kusaki's case, but also with the "brute force" proceedings. The agent also has an assistant!

These adventures around the world for the second time will force our beloved characters to go through many new situations, mostly not the most pleasant. They will pass through the merciless climate of Africa and through the severity of oceanic waters. Through the dilution of personal conflicts on board, through the shipwreck, through saving the lives of comrades. Well, and through hatred, friendship and love, too. Where without it?
