Bill's Bible Basics Used to be Endtime Prophecy Net As some of my longtime friends will know, since about the middle of 2016, my online Christian ministry has been known as Bill's Bible Basics, and can be found at https://www.billkochman.com. However, what some of my newer friends probably do not know, is that prior to July of 2016, the BBB ministry was known as Endtime Prophecy Net. In fact, it was called by the latter name since the year 2000 when I first purchased the domain names endtimeprophecy. net and endtimeprophecy. org. Furthermore, it was during the early part of those sixteen years that I began to create the over 5,000 Bill's Bible Basics graphics which now populate many corners of the Internet, such as on eight of the major social networks. For reasons which I have explained before, in July of 2016, I took both www.endtimeprophecy. net and www.endtimeprophecy. org offline, and I replaced them with https://www.billkochman.com. It was the same content as before, but with a new ministry name, and a new website URL. While I took them offline at that time, I did not fully relinquish ownership of those two domain names until November of 2017 when my registration for them expired. So why am I sharing the previous information with you? Well, for several reasons. First of all, given the nature of the Internet, many of the original versions of my graphics are still floating around on the Internet. These original and older versions have the domain name www.endtimeprophecy. net on them. Since creating all of those original versions years ago, ALL of my graphics have been both enlarged, as well as updated and improved in quality, making them better than the originals. You will know if you are looking at a newer version of one of my graphics, because the domain name on it will be www.billkochman.com, and NOT www.endtimeprophecy. net. One reason why I am telling you this is because I really don't want anyone sharing the older versions of my graphics which have www.endtimeprophecy. net on them. One of the main reasons behind my making this request is the following: After I relinquished endtimeprophecy. net and endtimeprophecy. org back in 2016, some unscrupulous person -- who remains unknown to me -- purchased the endtimeprophecy. net domain name, and for years now they have been using the domain name to advertise a hotel chain. Obviously, it has absolutely nothing to do with our Christian faith. So what they are doing is both dishonest, as well as misleading. If you put www.endtimeprophecy. net in the location field of your web browser, you will be taken to a page which shows a very old -- and broken -- version of the Endtime Prophecy Net website. Of course, none of the links will work, because the site is dead, and the page is bogus. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see a pile of links for the aforementioned hotel chain. So as I said, that person is using my old domain name for dishonest and misleading purposes. They are using our faith, and my former website name and website URL as bait. Shame on them! For the record, a few years ago, I made efforts to get them to stop, but they refused to even communicate with me. Furthermore, I was unable to locate any information regarding the ISP they are using. So, it was basically a dead end, and they have continued with their scam. So that is why I am asking everyone to please NOT use or share any of my old graphics which have www.endtimeprophecy. net on them. Because if you do, you will be unintentionally leading people to that bogus website. Please direct all of your online friends to Bill's Bible Basics at https://www.billkochman.com instead. All of my original content -- articles and series, poetry, graphics, KJV Bible Verse Lists, etc. -- can be found there. Regarding the endtimeprophecy. org domain name, if you attempt to go there in your web browser, you will be taken to a page which contains a number of related links, and which will inform you that endtimeprophecy. org is for sale, and that it can be purchased via networksolutions. com. Let me also mention that over the years, certain dishonest individuals -- particularly on Facebook -- have stolen literally thousands of my images, altered them, and chopped them up. In particular, they intentionally remove my www.billkochman.com website URL from the graphics, and they place their own URL there instead, or something else. Again, this is shameful, and a poor Christian example. In conclusion, I hope you all continue to enjoy and are blessed and edified by the material which I freely share online via the Bill's Bible Basics website, the Bill's Bible Basics Blog, and on the various social networks. Bill's Bible Basics Blog: Mobile or Desktop Version? https://www.billkochman.com/Blog/bills-bible-basics-blog-mobile-or-desktop-version/ When you visit the Bill's Bible Basics Blog on a mobile device -- such as an iPhone, for example -- you have the option to view either the mobile version of the blog, or else the desktop computer version of the blog. The difference is that the mobile version is simpler and less graphic-intensive. This means that the blog's contents will load more quickly on a mobile device. Are You Experiencing a Slow BBB Connection? Dear friends, I just wanted to remind you that four times daily, I back up the entire internal hard drive of my web server machine to an external hard drive. This is automatically done at 4:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, my local time. To give you a point of reference, we are GMT+10 here, which means that it will be 14 or 15 hours earlier than my local time on the U.S. East Coast. Each backup at those four hours of the day usually completes within an hour's time. Please note that when these automated backups occur, the web server machine becomes sluggish, and this will more than likely affect your ability to connect to any portion of the Bill's Bible Basics website and the BBB Blog, As a result, if during any of these four time frames you click or tap on any of the BBB article links, poetry links, KJV Bible Verse List links, or blog links which you find on Facebook, or on any other social network where I participate, you may not be able to successfully connect to the BBB website or to the BBB Blog until the backup has completed. Either that, or you may possibly be able to connect, but the web pages may stall and load very slowly in your web browser. Also, you need to consider how far away you may be from me. For those of you who live on the far U.S. East Coast, you are close to 7,000 miles away from me. That is A LOT of server hops, and I know for a fact that with the data travelling such a great distance, Internet congestion and other issues can weaken your connection to my web server and make it unreliable. The same thing occurs when I reach out to the U.S. East Coast from here. The minute I pass the U.S. West Coast and head east, things begin to become troublesome, and I may have trouble connecting to a site, and loading a web page. The bottom line is this, if for some reason you cannot connect to my web server, then just wait a while until you are outside of the above four time ranges, and try again. If you are trying at a different time of day, and still have problems connecting to my server, it may possibly be due to Internet congestion, or some other issue beyond both your and my control. Also, as I have mentioned before, please be aware of the fact that we do have unexpected power outages here. When these occur, BBB links on Facebook and other social networks to the BBB website and BBB Blog will be totally dead in the water, until power is restored here, and I can get the web server back online again. I hope this information helps some of you. Thank You for Your Encouragement! Hello, my friend. Let's face it. We are all human. Even as Christians, sometimes we have bad days where we want to pull out our hair. Not only that, but there are times when we go through rough periods in our lives where things look rather bleak. At such times, we may feel like we are drowning in our problems. Whatever is going on, and whatever issues we are confronting, sometimes receiving a word of encouragement from another brother or sister in the Lord -- which the Bible refers to as exhortation -- or knowing that our brethren in the Lord are praying for us and our situation, goes a long way towards lifting us up and encouraging us. So let me say "Thank you!" to those of you who have filled this need in my personal life on occasion through your prayers and concern. Please know that you are very much appreciated! Where is My Facebook Comment? https://www.billkochman.com/Blog/where-is-my-facebook-comment/ Sometimes, after making a comment under one of my graphics on Facebook, people become a little confused, offended, or even angry, and they will say something like "Where is my comment? I can't find it. Why did you delete it?" However, what some of you need to be made aware of, is that things are not always what they seem. Allow me to explain. First of all, I very rarely ever delete comments from my Facebook friends. If and when I do that, it is usually because a person has been or becomes very disrespectful, combative, argumentative, or because they have posted something which I strongly feel is contrary to the Scriptures. If they persist in their negative activity, I will warn them a few times. But if that doesn't work, then I will either unfriend them so that they can no longer comment on my posts, or else I will block them altogether, if the situation merits it. The bottom line -- and this applies to every single person who owns a timeline, page or group on Facebook -- is my page, my rules. If you can't respect the rules which I have established and adhere to them, then please just don't comment, or leave, unfriend me, or do whatever you feel you need to do. Having said that, as I have been explaining for a number of months now, there are times when your comments will indeed disappear. However, it is NOT because I removed them. Here are the facts. Since October of 2019, I have been repeatedly harassed by Facebook. I have been forced logged off, locked out of my account, forced to upload my personal ID, forced to change my password, and forced to jump through Facebook's security hoops literally dozens of times, to the point of being absolutely ridiculous. But something else that Facebook has been doing a lot of in recent months, is actually removing my posts from their platform. I am talking about many dozens of my posts being deleted because they supposedly go against Facebook's "Community Standards". Actually, a better name would be Facebook's "Liberal Community Standards". I know that many of you fully understand what I mean by that. But the point is, when Facebook removes my posts, that means that all shared posts -- meaning my posts which you share on your own timeline or page -- all likes, and all comments likewise disappear. They are gone, as if they had never existed. So that is one big reason why you may not be able to find your comment. There is another reason why people become confused, and think that their comment has been deleted. It has to do with the fact that I make the same posts on my timeline, on my page, and in the BBB group. In other words, in three different places on Facebook. Of course, if you are commenting on one of my posts while you are in your news feed, you may not realize exactly where your comment is being posted. It is for this reason that if you visit my timeline, page or the BBB group directly, you will notice in the cover image that it says "You are here:". This will be followed by "BBB Timeline", "BBB Page" or "BBB Group". That is obviously so that you know exactly which one of the three you are visiting. So what does all of that mean? It means that when you comment on one of my posts in your news feed, you need to look carefully, and note exactly where you are posting. Stated another way, if you make a comment under one of my images which is on my timeline, and then later visit the BBB group and see the same image, you are NOT going to see your comment there. Why? Because you did NOT post your comment under the image that is in the BBB group. You posted it under the image that is on my timeline. So you see, if you do not understand how Facebook works, then you will erroneously be led to believe that I have deleted your comment, when such is not the case at all. You are simply looking for your comment in the wrong place. There is yet another reason regarding why you may not be able to find your comment. If a person is the first individual to write a comment under one of my status updates, and if you -- or anyone else for that matter -- comes along later and replies to their comment, if for some reason the first commenter decides to delete their comment, then all replies to their comment will be deleted as well. Again, that is just the way that Facebook works. Perhaps they do it to avoid confusion. But whatever their reasons, I have no control over it. Now do you get it? Great!
