omg this is so fun thanks for sending this to me :') <3 my top 5 favorite fics I've written, in order, and why:

play pretend, find a friend (40k; fake/pretend relationship, college au, frat boy harry, kinda lonely louis, inspired by Clouds) I can't believe this was a pinch hit! I still remember when @lululawrence messaged me asking if I was interested (I was walking around campus at night after leaving the library just like harry and louis do in this fic) and I'm so glad I said yes. I wrote this during the fall semester of my sophomore year in college weeks before harry released fine line and it just brings back such warm and cozy memories for me. I also think this is some of my strongest writing, but I rushed the ending quite a bit which still bothers me--one of these days i'll write a real ending to do it justice. if you're looking for a fic to read this fall i think you should read this one hehehe

close to nowhere (34k; psychic au, mystery/investigation, hate to love, sharing a bed, bickering, protective harry) omgggg I had so much fun writing this! both louis and harry being clairvoyants and investigating a haunting together--being 'coworkers' who get on each other's nerves so bad and antagonize each other incessantly, but deep down, when it comes down to it, they care about each other more than anything. protective harry is so fun to write. and louis having premonitions about hooking up with harry still cracks me up.

let me feel your heartbeat (34k; a/b/o, alpha harry, omega louis, rut fic, hate to love, miscommunication) this is a silly smutty unserious fic but I love that people love it so much lol. plus it's fun to do a bit of role reversal and have omega louis be very assertive with a 'take no shit' attitude and alpha harry is both intimidated and in awe of him and doesn't know what to do with himself because of it.

undone, undress (134k; hurt/comfort, past abusive relationship, traumatized harry, college au, roommates au) this fic is CRAZY. let me just say if you hate this fic, I totally see where you're coming from. looking back, I was in a questionable mental state when I wrote this (and I was really young) and I've grown and changed so much since then. but I still stand by the core of what I was trying to do with this fic--to show that recovery after years of trauma and maltreatment is difficult, messy, and complicated AND it's possible. so even though it's wrought with disturbing things that don't face the consequences they probably should, I still feel proud of this fic.

you are half of me (and I am all for you) (24k; 1d is an indie rock band au, cross-country road trip, tour, summer, travel, friends to lovers, pining harry, oblivious louis) ik this isn't a fan favorite but it has a special plate in my heart!! light-hearted, summery, good vibes, idk. fave part was writing that they met in a record store fighting over a bon iver vinyl and harry let louis have it only if he agreed to let him come over to his house and listen to it sometime--and they did, that was how they became friends :')

What was one event that changed your PC? Not just their appearance but their perspective on the world, or the way the town works?

to be quite real with you a few of these bitches were practically born like that LMAO. Noé and Romī's parents [which by proxy affects Angel Damsel's answer] both kinda immediately cemented their worldview from childhood and it hasn't really changed. BUT let's see...

Damsel

obviously the beheading had an effect on her but I think what most effected her view on the world was her time dating Avery. she was around lots of people with money/status and was basically like "I want that". people with status/money can use that as leverage, combine that view with what she picked up from Bailey ["money can get you anything and anything can be monetized" essentially] and you get one mean girl model who sells information ♡

Noé

this is less a change in world perspective and more a chanfe in the perspective of specific place: the Temple. his view on the Temple entirely stems from Damsel's disappearance. she was a part of the Temple when it happened and it accidentally created a strong negative association. he hates the Temple, even if he doesn't mind some of the members. the entire place needs to come crumbling down in his opinion and that's why he's joined. what better way to destroy it than from the inside out?

Romī

she's basically always had a "people are basically worthless until proven otherwise and I'm gonna mind my own business n fuck off into the woods" mentality. her moms were...perhaps too straightforward with her about the town so Romī entered the town already being like "wow shady fucks ruled by lust and greed everywhere".

Lucky

I actually haven't played much with Lucky, she's so new to me..the only thing I've been doing is torturing her in the dms with Puppy LMAO. I will say she's not in the Temple, but a lot of the victim blame-y talk she's heard from the members plays a role in her insistence that she's a normal girl who would never ever be turned on by pain.

Angel Damsel

being adopted by Romī's parents and that altering her personality and worldview from her og counterpart's is the basis of her personality lol. she does think this town can never be anywhere close to morally good in any capacity so town corruption or purity is ultimately worthless because of her encounters seeing the Wraith's memories.

I would love to do something with Adri! ♥ Fun fact actually: There was a scrapped Ch. 6 concept with Adri that would've been a lot of fun to implement, but unfortunately got in the way of how I wanted things to play out. I am still considering writing it as an alternate version tho... 👀

Actually, I've been thinking about a few different offshoots from the main plot :3 Been thinking about hosting an event in that vein, if'n there was enough interest to warrant it :3c

As for the rest, there will be more answers in the upcoming chapters! 😉 Tho I will at least say, Lee knows as much as the Institute has in Angel's file, and what Angel has told him directly :3 There's an awful lot he Should know that he Doesn't, hm! :)

thoughts on rhiannon having a little dog bed under her desk for when she regresses at work.. if anyone asks, she'll lie, and say it's for tink. not that they notice either way..

also you are so right on rhiannon puppy regressor. but you're never wrong, so idk what i expected <3

YES YES YES !! upvote a bajillion million times , i can't believe i didn't say anything about this before !!!!!! i meant to and then had so many thoughts i just forgot to.. i think for sure that is very rhiannon. rhi who at first tries to keep it a secret before realizing quite how invisible she seems to be at her job. at first she'll talk to "tink" and use her as an excuse to go down there even when she hasn't brought her. slowly realizing nobody notices whether she shows up at all and hiding in her little dog bed after a particularly infuriating meeting , chewing a little rubber bone that actually did used to be tink's. she should probably worry a bit more about germs when she's sharing things with tink but when she's regressed she doesn't remember to. she's got too many more pressing thoughts in that little head of hers. at home she sometimes tries to steal tink's dog bed before she gets one for herself. she doesn't have a lot of money so she has to save up and there are times where she's deep in her headspace and just wants the comfort of a proper dog bed. she's a silly girl , sometimes tink gets annoyed with her but she doesn't mean any harm. if she's to get territorial though they might bark at each other until rhi gets tired out and sulkily curls up in her easy chair instead. she'll whine all night though she's quite stubborn.

also TEHE yes i m the smartest puppy ever (ᐡっˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ ᐡ) rhi puppy cus she told me herself we played toys after.

As a Kakyoin fan and artist, I'm doing my part in giving him a part 4 design 🫡

Honestly, I've been thinking of a part 4/6 Kakyoin design for a while now, but I've haven't been confendet in any of them. I wanna strike a balance with kakyoin's character (that prim and proper mask he wears to cover the fact that hes unhinged lol), the styling of part 4, and something to complement jotaro (since they're foils and would be side by side during the Morioh case) but not completely matching with him.

I wanna work more with this design, but I hope you like it 🙃
