He thinks about the warmth of Alex’s hand brushing against Henry’s when he passed him the tea this morning—he can see all of it so vividly. Henry’s hand drifts under the water, his fingers trailing over his chest and stomach. He pinches one of his nipples lightly, his body responding almost immediately. His other hand wraps around his cock, already hard again at the mere thought of Alex. He stares out, slowly stroking himself; the warm water laps against his skin as his mind brings forth an image of Alex—flushed, panting, looking at Henry like he’s the only thing that matters. The fantasy builds, and he hears Alex’s voice low and rough in his ear, feels his hands gripping his hips, and Alex’s lips tracing a path down his neck. It takes even less time than Henry thought it would. His breath catches, and his hips jerk as he spills over his hand with a soft groan that echoes through the bathroom.

Those eyelashes. Henry's Kryptonite. They are only heightened by the smudge of black liner that still highlights Alex’s eyes. Something Beatrice added at the after party last night. The same after party where Alex took Henry to a storage cupboard and showed him the black lace bodysuit she was wearing under his suit. Henry shivers thinking about sucking Alex’s skin through the lace. The threads catching on his lips and yet, it never being enough. Alex’s shallow breath is filling his ears as he comes back into the room. Those eyes look up at him expectantly. Alex’s mouth hangs open a little. Henry’s thumb strokes over his lip before putting it into her mouth. Alex diligently sucks, and Henry pulls it away, his teeth dig in just slightly. ‘Are you going to be good for me?’ Alex nods, and goes to pull Henry’s tie apart but Henry's hand stops him. ‘Did I say you could touch me?’ Alex shakes his head, there's panic in her eyes but Henry sees his smile fighting to reveal itself. ‘I can be good. Want to be a good… good girl for you.’ Henry’s brow shoots up but he quickly recovers. He takes Alex’s hand from his collar and plants a chast kiss on the palm. ‘Thank you darling.’ Henry's voice is warm again, he's letting Alex know he's okay with this. Alex nods, a blush growing up his neck. Henry kneels, still holding his hand. ‘My queen, it's time you show respect to your king.’

A little something different today: a tiny piece of the high school AU I'm working on for the RWRB Collab Bingo!

The problem with being more outgoing was that Henry was terrified. The thing was, he had this huge crush, one that he had absolutely no desire for any of his classmates to find out about. The only living souls he had entrusted with this knowledge were Pez, his sister Bea, and Henry’s dog, David. If the object of his affections ever found out… well, Henry shuddered to think of the consequences. There was no possible way Alex Claremont-Díaz would want anything to do with him. After all, Alex was popular- captain of the lacrosse team and SGA president, not to mention the nicest guy in the entire school. People either wanted to be him, wanted to date him (Henry counted himself chief among this group) or wanted to be his best friend.

Well, it's been a hot minute since I've had sentences to share, between a hectic end of year at work, massive burnout, sending my sweet Ladybug over the Rainbow Bridge one month ago. But here we are, and I so appreciate everyone that has tagged me in these games over the last several weeks. I appreciate you all.

I think I said awhile ago I wouldn't be sharing more snippets from (the only truth) everything comes back to you, but it's also the only thing I've been working on, so here's a small bit from the upcoming chapter 9 (only 1.5 scenes to go, y'all. The epilogue is fully written).

Alex whistles before calling out, “Well hey there, sexy.” Henry’s head pops up and he looks around obliviously for a moment before locking eyes with Alex. The way Henry’s face lights up gives Alex the sensation that he’s floating on a cloud, and he falls even more impossibly in love. “Hello, darling.” Henry greets him with a kiss, then seems to notice the car. “What’s this about?” Alex pushes away from the car and opens the door. “Just a little something.” Henry’s brow raises skeptically. “You never do anything small.” “Lies,” Alex teases and slides in next to Henry.

Henry’s been working on the new LA shelter for months. He’s had countless conference calls with investors, contractors, city council, and more. Now, they’re ready for the final touches before opening, and Henry needs to be hands-on, literally. He knew this time would come, but he hates being away from home.

He’s on the phone with his assistant, discussing hotel options, when Alex interrupts. “Why do you need a hotel in LA? My dad lives there. Stay with him. He’d be thrilled to have you there.”

Henry stays with Oscar Diaz his father-in-law while he's getting the new LA shelter up-and-running. It's a bit of an adjustment, but it's actually nice. He even picks up a few new skills in the kitchen to show Alex!
