AJTL dropped around the 30th episode cuz I found out about the ending.

My demon – on hold around 14th ep cuz I'm still not ready for Gu Won disappearance. (yup, I spoiled it to myself)

Strong girl Nam Soon and 18 again on hold without any progress.

Only for love – I looked past the unreasonable behavior of the FL and finished it. I'm glad I did it cuz the ending was great.

WTS, TSoPMC, AGDtbaD – finished, loved them!!

The Last Immortal – even tho I love both main actors, I'm not in the mood for xianxia lately

Dramas I recently watched and my thoughts/small reviews about them:

Amidst snowstorm of love – I LOVE IT. The pace, the story, all this stuff I didn't understand about billiards... Simple, yet entertaining. The way ML stared at the FL, how awkward they were at the beginning, their hugs (I desperately need a hug like that). OST and the views (the three musketeers were THE views too). No major drama, just a bit unrealistic, yet enjoyable and entertaining watch. Definitely re-watch worthy.

Oh my Venus – It was definitely a good rewatch. I can't believe that next year, this drama will be 10 years old. It's funny, sweet, and for the times this drama was made, the weight-loss plot was handled pretty well and reasonably. I was also reminded of this beautiful mindset this drama shows – Healthy means sexy and pretty. I really want to stick to that mindset cuz it just makes me smile and reminds me (in a good way) how poorly I've been taking care of my own health.

Love is for suckers:

Re-watch. Not sure why it only has 7.5 rating on MDL, but on the other hand it definitely has some shortcomings. Despite that, still it was a fun rewatch.

Marry My Husband:

Amazing. The revenge plot, the characters (Na In Woo's height, smile, devotion to the FL?? HOW THE HECK I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS ACTOR BEFORE, HE'S SO HAWESOME (you know, handsome and awesome at the same time) Also I think Park Min Young was excellent in this drama, good way to make a cool comback. I'll probably rewatch it in a few months.

What I'm currently watching:

Doctor slump – just started (2/16) and I'm considering to put it on hold till the next weekend so I can binge watch the drama after the last 2 episodes aired.

Queen of tears:

Tbh I just couldn't resist myself, so I'm 1.5 episodes in, and I definitely have to put it on hold, so I won't have to wait impatiently for the next few weeks.

Flex x Cop:

10/16 episodes, I'm watching it usually when I'm reminded about this drama and the new episodes are out. I'm just wondering what about the romance plot in this drama, as on the MDL, it's one of the genres, and I didn't see any romantic moments between the main leads (besides FL's mom attempts to match them). Although the second main leads are cute, their romance subplot isn't that interesting to me. I'm really hoping that 'amazing teamwork' isn't the only thing we'll get from the main leads...

I am thinking about Shadows Admist Snowstorms’ canon plot and how it doesn’t match my expectations for it based on what I’ve seen from the trailer and fan art. Basically, some sorta rewrite…

(Mostly just me fulfilling my dream of a bitter Subject 2 monologue towards Albedo about Rhinedottir)

First of all, the whole Winter Training Camp plot can be cut out since it wouldn’t change anything… Eula, Amber, and Bennett’s goal is to get down from the mountain, but that’s a result of the Winter Training Camp plot, and there could be another way for them to meet on the mountain… Eula and Amber are mostly there for fluff during the Albedo-cooks-for-everyone scene. Eula gets a bit with Traveler on suspecting Whooperbedo’s true identity; that part is fine. In the Fellflower fight aftermath, Amber explains how a Whooperflower works but then Albedo can sum it up himself…

And then there’s the way Albedo just reveals to us info on Rhinedottir and him being a humunculus, and then how he was created with the mark. The way he just pulls us aside tells us (breaking the show, don’t tell rule), and also how he talks about the Primordial Human Project in an internal monologue with it not being brought up again later—

And then, Subject 2’s plan on replacing Albedo with the Fellflower as a distraction�� We need to know his motivations explicitly instead of Albedo musing about it (in a cutscene monologue that no other character hears, nonetheless). Maybe, he could reveal his intentions some more (cryptically?) when we first meet him at the cave first. Either through subtext or metaphors… Or, he could reveal his intentions in a monologue about his backstory?

What if we get a confrontation between Subject 2 and Albedo? (That’s that I had expected based on fanart.) With the Traveler’s life on the line, Subject 2 forces Albedo, Traveler, and Paimon to submit, with the Fellflower as his henchman. And then, now with an audience, Subject 2 reveals bitterly his origins (Primordial Human project, the star mark, homunculi) and Rhinedottir’s maltreatment towards him through a villainous backstory monologue, and talks about perfection and love (as a result of Rhinedottir’s treatment, again). And he’d have a motive for doing so, since he’d be proving to us that he’s the “original” version through this while finally having his untold story heard, thus gaining our sympathy.

I wanna watch something but idk what 😫😫😫 I think I’ll finally try Fight for My Way. Currently I’m halfway through Into the Ring, which I will finish, just not right now. Also I’m on episode 3 of Flower of Evil, which I’m going back to maybe tomorrow or Wednesday. Also I have like half an episode left of Rookie Cops. I just want something fun & light.

Wedding Impossible only made me cry today and the was after I watch The Midnight Studio, which always makes me cry 😩😩😩. Idk I thought of trying a cdrama, but I’ve never completed one of those. Thinking maybe Everyone Loves Me or Admist a Snowstorm of Love.

Oh also I’m on episode 5 of Uncanny Counter.

I try to be as impartial as I can be when someone says they don't like a certain character but the reasons people have for not liking Venti are duummmmmmbbbbbb

"He's too goofy!" Opinion denied because you're an Itto stan/main/lover. Also not taking this opinion from: Bennett lovers Xingqiu lovers, Yomiya lovers, Hu Tao lovers, Klee lovers and Childe lovers.

"He doesn't care about his nation." Someone didn't read the damn lore or pay attention during his original archon quest.

"He's always drunk." ....BSFFR

Look I'm not the fandom god. I'm not the ruler over Venti nation or whatever I just need people to stop playing the game on skip mode. (Jumping through all the dialogue) then saying shit about Venti that just isn't true as a means to not like him.

Literally the best example that Venti loves Mondstadt is that he's literally in every single Mondstadt event (minus Shadows Admist the Snowstorms and I believe.. Unreconciled Stars as well I wasn't around during that event and haven't watched a playthrough either). Even if it's only for a couple seconds he's ALWAYS THERE

Original GAA: Venti literally risked being found out as a god because he had to help a child get something she wanted.

Windblume festival 1: He spends the entire festival helping his people with their love poems and if you wanna say "oh he only cared about the mora/alcohol" there's an entire side story where Bennett goes missing and Sucrose and Timaeus have some random project they need help with. If he only gave a shit about mora and alcohol he could've just headed to the Tavern and forced Traveler to fix that stuff for him.

Second GAA: He gives Traveler a way to contact him and listens to Traveler's worries up until Nahida cut their connection.

Weinlesefest: He's literally the entire reason Razor was able to connect with his past.

Venti's literally always watching and helping and guiding his people. He couldn't have lied harder about Mondstadt's problems being their own. Now in terms of Signora's back story idk. Knowing what we know about Venti I doubt he was just chilling up in a tree somewhere drunk as hell while her husband was dying. But if ya'll want to hate him just because of some big titty fanservice girlie be my fucking guest but she's not gonna fuck you. She's too busy fucking her husband in whatever afterlife they ended up in. How do her ashes taste?

In terms of Zhongli not a fan never will be he bores me to death. The only thing that interests me about him is his relationship with Xiao.

To sum up: I've been watching too much Ventiloreist on Tiktok so my despise for Venti haters is burning hot as hell rn. Also what shoes Signora got on in her casket??

Venti is like, so loving towards Mondstadt and everyone in it and it's like? All of his love is behind limited quests and I even had someone try to use one of his voicelines (I think the one about Albedo) as a way of saying he doesn't care about Mond (he says that Mond's problems are their own) and not only has Venti himself disproved that, so has Weinlesefest, Windblume, etc.

Venti wouldn't have let Dvalin stay corrupted and leave it to Mondstadt to deal with, that's the hugest example. He was ready to solve the problem himself but you know, Genshin has to start somewhere.

Also, Venti is one of the first Archons we meet very early. Some of his voicelines and story need an update and that's not anyone's fault but it'd be nice to see Venti get an update like he deserves as Genshin has increased in animation quality, etc.

In conclusion I love Venti and someone has to have a braincell here about him because 90% of the people who don't like him skipped lore lol

If the big twist of the Shadows Admist Snowstorms event is that the Albedo imposter is actually the other Gold homunculus (Albedo’s dead dragon brother??) going all, “Mom always loved YOU better and I’m going to have an attitude about it now” I’m going to be very disappointed

Just curious if you ever have a Ko-Fi or something for us to support? That and in light of the recently ended Shadows Admist Snowstorms event can we get more Albedo (sick)fics? Preferably with platonic found family Kaeya, Klee and Traveller if you aren't up for writing Kaebedo since I've noticed you prefer different ships hehe

I don’t have a Ko-Fi or anything like that and I don’t plan to really set up one because I honestly do this out of a love for the fandoms I have and writing etc. but if you do wanna support me just introduce my fics to others you think may like them and I definitely do intend to write more fics for Albedo both with found family (because I love that trope) and also romantically with the Traveler and Kaeya as his partners. I do ship Kaebedo but it’s one of those background ships I have 😂 and I do have one or two prompts for it I actually made awhile back that I can do. Uh Shadows Admist Snowstorms spoilers

I think the event ended already, I've been too busy to play genshin since the last quest came out but just in case-

Anyway so

I said Albedo but it's really his clone-

Not the whopperflower, the version before him; Subiect Two I think is what Albedo called him

Anyway I don't refer to him as either cuz I call him Nigredo since Albedo is named after the second phase in magnum opus (alchemy) and Nigredo is the first phase. He came before Albedo and also the symbolism of the Nigredo phase and the albedo phase kinda relate to them- from my very brief wikipedia research at least

Anyway, is it strange that I'm simping for Nigredo? Y'know, the dude that's gotten like 5 (confirmed) lines and personality is completely up to interruption?

Idk maybe it's cuz the story suggests he just wants a place to fit in and live a normal human life and I imagine myself slowly breaking down his barriers to trust that he can live a normal life without killing Albedo and the Traveler, which also leads into the idea of a very awkward sibling relationship but that's a whole other thing-

I find it funny I gave you that advice when you sounded stressed and then preceded to have the most stressful week and not take my own advice

OMG YOU CAME UP WITH A NAME FOR HIM TOO?? i went with Saros bc i liked the sound better than Nigredo + it still ties into Albedo’s name, bc Saros means the beginning of the eclipse cycle, and Saros was eclipsed by Albedo in Gold’s eyes so and ya know like light and reflectivity w eclipses ANYWAYS ANYWAYS Anyways

and no simping for him is perfectly normal-

i am kinda attached to the idea that like when albedo walked off with his sword to talk to/fight with subject 2/Nigredo/Saros, albedo already knew that they were in too similar of positions for him to kill Subject 2, so he went “how about I get you a different human life, so you don’t have to kill and replace anyone?”

and then he had Subject 2 become Joel’s missing, dead father so that he could experience love and what it’s like to be human but without killing anyone + giving Joel his dad back :( <3
