This was only her second party at the clubhouse, but it already felt like stepping into an entirely different universe—gritty, chaotic, and full of unspoken rules she was still trying to decipher. The other women had taken her in, offering a crash course in survival within the Reapers MC. Be there for them, whatever they need. Simple words, but they carried weight. She knew better than to believe anything in this world was truly simple. The scars she carried from her old life were proof of that. Still, running from the torment of her past had landed her here, and for now, it felt safer than where she’d come from. That was enough. She caught sight of one of the men sitting alone at a table, his presence a quiet contrast to the rowdy energy around him.
