Another reason that I liked the Adamantine Forge besides the special armour & weapons…💦

honour mode tip #1: do not fight the adamantine golem. do not. do not even think about it. you may think you can do it, but you are filled with hubris and foolishness.

I found the Adamantine Forge! And the waypoint there! And four different moulds!
Now, if I can just find some mithral ore...
(I'm not misspelling "mithril." Baldur's Gate 3 calls the ore I need "mithral." Apologies, LOTR people. It irks me too.)

also i straight up had no idea you could talk to this guy. For context, hes one of the paralyzed drow the spectator revives during its fight in the underdark.
this playthrough was the least hectic spectator fight ive ever had and I and was able to take out the big guy before killing any of the Drow. Dhourn's combat portrait was yellow, and then he started talking to me once I left combat.
(And then he ended the convo and initiated combat with me--very rude. So I killed him with fungus magic)

Your answer to the wedding questions has me spinning up SO many ring questions now.
What metal? Stones/gems or no? Do they match? Are they variations of one another? Is it at all similar to one (or both) of Shadowheart’s collars?
Does Shadowheart know what Asheera is making beforehand? Does she figure it out during the process? Or is she surprised? If Asheera does get to surprise her, how?
I’m Very Normal about this subject, clearly.
Don't worry, I'm extremely normal about my babies Asheera/Shadowheart so I love answering these questions.
Soooooo let's do another quick rundown!
Asheera kept a fragment of the mithral ore that you can get from the Grymforge and made the rings out of that. Since she worked it herself, it's not adamantine but rather pure mithral. They would look like silver bands but far stronger and more durable. Think like a titanium band. The bands match except for size.
Shadowheart's ring has rounded pieces of bluish moonstone in it that crown one side (obviously the side that you'd see on her finger) while Asheera's has no setting.
Asheera made them as a surprise! She worked on the rings in her little forge that she has on the farm.
She managed to finish the rings just before the two of them were going to visit Asheera's parents — the whole family has a ritual where the siblings and their spouses/families go to visit the parents once a year. She showed them to Shadowheart before they left, just in case she didn't like the idea of having rings. Luckily, she got to show them off when they went back to Baldur's Gate :)

Baldur’s Gate 3 is all fun and games until your paladin wanders into a lava area with ring mail and no fire resistance. Turns out magma mephits know ‘heat metal’. Currently suffering from a terminal case of ‘char-boiled in my tin suit’ disease.

The thing that really gets me about the Orin vs Veszeth duel is that Veszeth used the adamantine shield vs. Orin, meaning she couldn't crit them. They were also pretty damned good at knocking her prone the entire fight. They weren't getting as many attacks in, but the adamantine shield turned it into a war of attrition, and that was something Vesz was always going to win as a war cleric.
It's just led to this image I have of Veszeth kneeling down next to Orin after they've defeated her, and as she gets disintegrated into gore, telling her:"finesse and artistry, dear bloodkin, means nothing without discipline or patience - and you always lacked both."

Okay question I’ve basically done everything in the wilderness and just have the go to moonrise and find the crèche or whatever it’s called. But there’s like, different routes? You know there’s the underdark and some place I found and then the mountain pass, do all of those progress you forward and also can i go find the crèche and go to moonrise? what’s the best approach?
