"brorado", facecast for Dorado is Alzbeta Trojanova's cosplay of Geralt from Witcher 3
The wavy knife called a KRIS, Suleiman can see beyond the narrative and knows kris #confirmed. Brendan said a thing about sentai armor in the ep and so I posted this image with "us at Skydagger".
I posted this when Dorado said "they were just two men" and made kris laugh.
kris posted almost exactly this gif when a certain new character was revealed

“Israeli soldiers raided this shelter. They tied and blindfolded all the women and children, threw some of them outside, threw some of them in a corner. They beat my 12-year-old cousin and then they abducted all of the ‘men’ of military age” – Abdullah Elagha talking about his family that are being held hostage and that the Biden Administration still hasn't attempted to evaluate his family, via CBS News (February 10th, 2024)

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Al-Kahf Ayah 92-96
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
18:92 Then he followed (another) way,
18:93 Until, when he reached between two mountains, he found before them a people who scarcely understood a word.
18:94 They said: "O Dhul-Qarnayn! Verily, Ya'juj and Ma'juj are doing great mischief in the land.
Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them''
18:95 He said: "That in which my Lord had established me is better.
So help me with strength, I will erect between you and them a barrier.''
18:96 "Give me Zubar of iron;'' then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs, he said: "Blow;'' then when he had made them (red as) fire, he said: "Bring me Qitran to pour over them.''
His Journey to the Land of Ya'juj and Ma'juj, and building the Barrier
Allah says of Dhul-Qarnayn:
Then he followed (another) way. Until, when he reached between two mountains,
meaning, he traveled from the east of the earth until he reached a place between the two mountains which were next to one another with a valley in between, from which Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) will emerge into the land of the Turks and spread mischief there, destroying crops and people.
Ya'juj and Ma'juj are among the progeny of Adam, peace be upon him, as was recorded in the Two Sahihs;
"Allah said: "O Adam.''
Adam said, "Here I am at Your service.'' Allah said, "Send forth the group of Hellfire.''
Adam said, "What is the group of Hellfire?"
Allah said: "Out of every thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine will go to Hell and one will go to Paradise.''
At that time young men will turn grey and every pregnant female will drop her load. Among you are two nations who never come to anything but they overwhelm it with their huge numbers. (They are) Ya'juj and Ma'juj.''
he found before them a people who scarcely understood a word.
he could not understand their speech, because they were so isolated from other people.
They said: "O Dhul-Qarnayn! Verily, Ya'juj and Ma'juj are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute''
Ibn Jurayj reported from Ata' from Ibn Abbas that;
this meant a great reward, i.e., they wanted to collect money among themselves to give to him so that he would create a barrier between them and Ya'juj and Ma'juj.
in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them''
Dhul-Qarnayn said with kindness, righteousness and good intentions,
He said: "That in which my Lord had established me is better (than your tribute).
meaning, the power and authority that Allah has given me is better for me than what you have collected.
This is like when Suleiman (Solomon), peace be upon him, said:
Will you help me in wealth What Allah has given me is better than that which He has given you! )27:36(
Similarly, Dhul-Qarnayn said:
`What I have is better than what you want to give me, but help me with strength,’ i.e., with your labor and construction equipment,
I will erect between you and them a barrier. Give me Zubar of iron,
Zubar is the plural of Zubrah, which means pieces or chunks of something.
This was the view of Ibn Abbas, Mujahid and Qatadah.
These pieces were like bricks or blocks, and it was said that each block weighed one Damascene Qintar or more.
then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs,
So help me with strength,
means, he put the blocks on top of one another, starting at the bottom, until he reached the tops of the mountains, filling the width and height of the gap.
The scholars differed about the precise width and height.
he said: “Blow;’’
means, he lit a fire until the whole thing was burning hot.
then when he had made them (red as) fire,
he said: “Bring me Qitran to pour over them.’’
Ibn Abbas, Mujahid, `krimah, Ad-Dahhak, Qatadah and
As-Suddi said:
it was copper.
Some of them added that it was molten. This is similar to the Ayah:
And We caused a fount of Qitran to flow for him. )34:12(
So it resembled a striped cloak.

A group of almost 70 Palestinian filmmakers — including two-time Oscar nominee Hany Abu Assad, acclaimed director Elia Suleiman and recent BAFTA winner Farah Nabulsi — have signed a strongly-worded letter in which they accuse Hollywood of “dehumanising” Palestinians on screen over decades, a factor they assert has helped enable the ongoing devastation in Gaza.
The letter — also signed by the likes of multiple-award winners including Michel Khleifi, Mai Masri, Najwa Najjar and the 22-strong list of directors behind the compilation of shorts “From Ground Zero,” Palestine‘s current submission to the Oscars — also expresses outrage and what it described as the “inhumanity and racism shown by some in the Western entertainment industry towards our people, even during this most difficult of times.” The letter marks the first collaborative initiative by Palestinian filmmakers since the horrific events of Oct. 7, in which terror group Hamas — which rules Gaza — killed more than 1,200 Israelis and took more than 250 hostage, and the ongoing retaliatory attacks on Gaza by Israel, which have killed more than 40,000 Palestinians (according to the Palestinian Health Authority) and led to a humanitarian crisis in the territory. Despite its fierce criticism of Hollywood, the letter does thank the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for “standing up to pressure and insisting on freedom of expression,” by refusing attempts to disqualify a Gaza-focused documentary from the 2024 Emmy nominations.
The Peabody Award-winning “It’s Bisan From Gaza and I’m Still Alive,” by Palestinian journalist, activist and filmmaker Bisan Owda and chronicling her family’s plight as they flee bombardment of their home in by Israel, is nominated for the News and Documentary Emmys for Outstanding Hard News Feature Story: Short Form. However, there were calls by a U.S.-based pro-Israel group for the nomination to be rescinded, with a letter signed by the likes of Debra Messing, Sherry Lansing, Rick Rosen and Haim Saba accusing Owda of having ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a United States-designated terrorist group.
In response, NATAS president Adam Sharp said that Owda’s nomination would not be rescinded, writing in a letter that the organisation had been “unable to corroborate these reports” of Owda’s alleged involvement and “found no grounds, to date, upon which to overturn the editorial judgment of the independent journalists who reviewed the material.”
See the letter by the Palestinian filmmakers list of signatures below:
We, Palestinian filmmakers, appreciate and thank the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) for standing up to pressure and insisting on freedom of expression by upholding Bisan Owda’s 2024 News and Documentary Emmy nomination for the documentary, “It’s Bisan From Gaza and I’m Still Alive.”
This film is narrated by the award-winning and inspiring 25-year-old Palestinian journalist, Bisan Owda, who has risked her life to share with the world reports and stories about the resilience, resistance and survival of ordinary Palestinian families in the face of Israel’s ongoing, livestreamed genocide in the occupied Gaza Strip.
Trying to censor Bisan’s voice is only the latest repressive attempt to deny Palestinians the right to reclaim our narrative, share our history, and in this case bring attention to the atrocities our people are facing in the hopes that we can bring an end to them. We well understand the power of image and cinema, and for far too long we have been outraged at the inhumanity and racism shown by some in the Western entertainment industry towards our people, even during this most difficult of times.
Through our films, we have tried to present alternative narratives, depictions and images to reverse the stereotypical, dehumanizing “worthless, disposable beings” image which enables the whitewashing and/or justification of the crimes perpetrated for decades against Palestinians. But why must we always put on our “boxing gloves” to defend our art against ruthless censorship that targets us merely on the basis of our identity, not our creativity?
We wholeheartedly welcomed the nomination of Bisan Owda’s film for an Emmy as an indication that, after so many years of Israel’s apartheid and settler-colonial rule over the Palestinian people, the relentless, decades-old dehumanization of Palestinians on small and big screens in the U.S., in Hollywood in particular, was beginning to give way to a more ethical stance. The censorship attempt against the film, though, was a reality check of sorts. We must still contend with and fiercely challenge the anti-Palestinian and generally anti-Arab racist propaganda that remains all too prevalent in Western entertainment media.
Although we are deeply concerned at how this dehumanization is a danger to our very existence as Palestinians, we are cognizant of how it also puts many racialized communities around the world, including in the West, at risk of a similar fate as the “might makes right” credo prevails.
We call on our international colleagues in the film industry, visionaries for the kind of world we would like to live in, to speak out against this genocide and the erasure, racism and censorship that enable it; to do everything humanly possible to stop and end complicity with this unspeakable horror; and to stand against working with production companies that are deeply complicit in dehumanizing Palestinians, or whitewashing and justifying Israel’s crimes against us.
This has to stop. Now.

Apakah Akhir Zaman Sudah Dekat? | Khutbah Omar Suleiman - (Bagian 2) 🕌
https://yaqeeninstitute.org/omar-suleiman/is-the-end-near-khutbah
1. Fitnah Terbesar Ad-Dajjal 🧟♂️:
2. Iman Sebagai Imunitas 🛡️:
- Setiap Nabi memperingatkan umatnya tentang ad-Dajjal.
Amin. 🤲

Jenin, occupied West Bank — Suleiman Abu al-Waf will never forget the “thumping sound” that forever changed his life. The 47-year-old, a general physician in the Jenin Directorate of Health, was sitting at home with his younger son and two daughters on November 29. The Israeli army had raided the city’s refugee camp that day, ripping up streets, ordering people to leave their homes at gunpoint, and bombing a house. But once word spread that the army had withdrawn, Suleiman’s elder son, 15-year-old Basil, told his father he wanted to go out and play with his friends. “He insisted, so I allowed him to go out and warned him not to go far,” Suleiman recalls. Basil was playing in the al-Basateen neighbourhood, far from the refugee camp. “It is known as a very quiet area,” Suleiman says. So when he heard the sound, he knew something was wrong. “I picked up my phone and called Basil more than once. He did not answer,” the father says. He ran out of his house and saw another boy, eight-year-old Adam Samer al-Ghoul on the street, injured in his head. Another boy came running up: “Uncle, Basil is injured.” When Suleiman got to his son, he saw paramedics trying to revive him. They refused to believe he was a doctor, so they kept him away from his son. But Suleiman knew instantly. “From the first sight of Basil, I knew that he was a martyr. Praise be to God.” Basil and Adam, young boys playing in Jenin, were shot dead by Israeli soldiers during the Jenin raid, in which two adults were also killed. A video that captures the boys being shot has since gone viral. The Israeli army arrested 15 others from the refugee camp, which has been a central focus of battles between them and Palestinian resistance fighters. The boys were among more than 260 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank who have been killed by Israeli forces or settlers since the Hamas attack on southern Israel on October 7. Israeli bombing and artillery fire have also killed more than 17,000 people in Gaza in this period, including at least 7,000 children.
