What a difference 40 years makes juxtaposition of Honda Vigor VTL-i, 1981 and Acura TLX Type S, 2021. The Acura TLX traces its roots back to the Honda Vigor that was launched as a premium version of the second generation Accord. It was first sold in the US in 1991 as an Acura Vigor. The new TLX Type S is billed as “quickest, best-handling and most well-appointed sedan in the brand's 35-year history” with 272hp 2.0-litre DOHC Turbo 4 or 3.0-litre, 24-valve, DOHC V6
