Y/n awoke with a groan, her legs stretching out beneath her as she took in a deep inhale of the crisp morning air, surprised to be greeted with the strong scent of bacon. She glanced to her side, expecting to see Drew sprawled out on his side of the bed, only to see it empty. Down the hallway, the low sounds of 90s rock echoed over the sizzling of bacon as it cooked on the stovetop. With a furrow of her brow, y/n swung her legs out of bed before padding across the floor until she made it into the kitchen.

At the stove, Drew stood, his bare and muscled back to her as he swayed side to side with the music. He wore a pair of gym shorts low on his hips, his torso covered by one of y/n’s old aprons. Just to the side of him, a vase of roses in varying shades of pink and red adorned the kitchen table. Hearing the soft sound of y/n’s footsteps, Drew turned around.

“Good morning.” He hummed as y/n stepped over to him, greeting him with a smile before pressing a kiss to his lips. He grinned against her before the two of them pulled apart, y/n’s arm finding its way around Drew’s back. Her fingernails traced lightly against the tanned skin of his back as he turned his attention to the sizzling skillet in front of him.

“What’s all this for, hm?” Y/n asked, looking across the island at the spread of various breakfast foods. Fluffy eggs and perfectly toasted toast sat next to a bowl of sliced fruit and a box of y/n’s favorite pastries from the bakery downtown.

“It’s Valentine’s Day, my love.” Drew laughed, putting a hand on his hip as he carefully transferred the bacon to a plate. “I figured it's the least I could do for you for putting up with me these last few months.”

“It’s actually crazy how perfect you are, did you know that?” Y/n said, planting a kiss on Drew’s cheek. She turned to the kitchen cabinets, digging through them until she found her and Drew’s favorite mugs.

“Ah, ah.” Drew chided, stopping y/n as she went to start the coffee pot. He went to the refrigerator, pulling out a large of y/n’s order from Claire’s. Y/n squealed, taking it from him and setting it on the counter before grabbing his face in her hands. She littered kisses along his grinning and blushed face.

“Perfect, Starkey, per-fect!” Y/n said, stepping away from Drew as he snaked an arm around her waist. “Did you not get anything for yourself?”

“I already drank it.” Drew laughed, shifting his hand under the back of the old t-shirt of his y/n owned. “How do you think I got up so early to do all this?”

Y/n felt goosebumps travel up her back from Drew’s warm touch against the small of her back. Y/n leaned her head against Drew’s shoulder, watching as he painstakingly crafted her a plate, taking care in each helping of eggs and dollop of whipped cream.

“I’ll be right back,” y/n said, leaning up onto her tiptoes to whisper in Drew’s ear, “I’m gonna go get your gift.”

“You got me a gift?!” Drew asked, his tone incredulous as he watched y/n giddily run away towards their guest bedroom. Once she made it in, y/n flung the doors to the closet open, digging through the pockets of an old coat for the spot she’d hidden Drew’s gift in. Once her hand’s felt the crinkle of wrapping paper, she grinned, pulling the elegantly wrapped present out and heading back to the kitchen.

Drew sat their two plates at the dining table, slipping the apron off over his head as y/n approached. She giggled as Drew’s eyes widened at his gift, clearly very much surprised as one of y/n’s hands reached up to rest along the nape of his neck. She scratched his head lightly, examining the light blush in his cheeks as he looked back down at her.

“Here you go,” Y/n whispered, handing the wrapped box to him. Drew took it, laughing slightly as he quickly pressed a kiss to her forehead before placing the box on the kitchen table.

“This is a bit ironic.” Drew said, digging into his pocket to procure an almost identical box wrapped in the same pink and red gift wrapping. Y/n laughed as she took it, placing it down on the kitchen table before rising up to press a kiss to Drew’s jaw.

“You should open yours first.” Y/n said, raising her brows at Drew.

“Ok, ok, fine.” Drew chuckled. “But let’s eat first.”

Drew moved to pull y/n’s chair out for her. She sat down, examining the beautiful bouquet of roses and impressive spread of food sat out in front of her. Drew took his seat opposite her, watching as she admired the table between them.

“Thank you, Drew. Really, this is… thank you.” Y/n stammered, smiling widely. Drew laughed, reaching across the table to take her hand.

“You deserve it baby.” Drew said, squeezing y/n’s hand gently before the two of them dug into their breakfast. Y/n savored each bite, praising Drew for his impressive cooking skills. Once they finished, Drew cleared the table before returning to sit across from y/n once more.

“Now it’s time for you to open this.” Y/n said, pushing the box towards Drew. Drew sat up straighter, clearing his throat before he examined the small box in his large hands. He worked intently as he unwrapped it, revealing a rectangular, velvet box. His eyes flicked up to meet y/n’s excited gaze before returning back to the box in front of him. Drew opened it slowly, revealing the glittering, gold necklace inside. He lifted it from the box, admiring the details of the dainty, gold chain and two glittering stone pendants, one for Drew’s birth month and one for y/n’s.

“Shit, baby…” Drew whispered as he looked intently at the way the chain and stones caught the light. “I love it, baby, wow. Thank you…”

Drew grinned before he offered the necklace out to y/n to put on him. He turned his toned back to her, allowing for her to drape the chain around his neck before securing it in place. Her fingers brushed along the sensitive skin of the nape of his neck, teasing him before sinking back into her seat. Drew turned around, flexing his chest as he showed off his new bling with a cheesy grin that brought a giggle out of y/n’s mouth.

“You should open yours,” Drew said, gesturing to the wrapped gift in front of y/n as he scratched the back of his neck. “We, uh… sort of had similar ideas.”

“What?!” Y/n laughed as she opened the gift, revealing a similar velvet box to the one she had gotten Drew. She opened it revealing a golden necklace. However, where Drew’s was a fine, golden chain with small pendants, hers was an intricately designed locket with swirling embellishments. Her fingers gently opened the locket, revealing an engraving spelling out “I Love You” in Drew’s familiar handwriting.

Y/n laughed lightly as she admired it, both because of the sentiment of the gift as well as the way their minds thought so similarly. Both were necklaces, different in details, sure, but genuine and thoughtful in a way that took their tastes into account almost effortlessly

“I love it, Drew,” Y/n grinned up at Drew, who stood from his seat opposite her to press a kiss to the top of y/n’s head before pulling her to her feet to wrap her in his warm embrace. Her face rested against the warmth of his bare skin, taking in his soft scent as he held her close. After a moment, she raised up to her tip toes so her lips brushed gently against Drew’s ear.

“I’ve got one more gift for you tonight.” Y/n whispered, a teasing grin spreading across her lips.

“Hmm, am I allowed a hint?” Drew asked with a quirk of his brow.

“Well, it’s for after dinner tonight.” Y/n said, her fingertips tracing along Drew’s chest as she spoke.

“Getting to see you in that dress, I mean… what more of a gift could I ask for?” Drew said lowly. “Could I at least get a hint?”

Y/n’s grin widened as she pressed a kiss to Drew’s cheek before her lips returned to his ear.

“No, sorry.” Y/n whispered. “I guess you’ll just have to take off my dress and find out.”

you & toji are in an interview, one to promote the upcoming release of the action movie you both star in where you’re the main love interest. it is bound to be a huge success, judging by the interest and how everyone loves the chemistry you and toji have both in and out of film!

the interviewer asks you a question and while you’re responding you can feel someone staring at you. you turn to your left where toji is sitting, and he has his eyes dead set on you, not looking away for one second. you turn your focus back to the interviewer to continue answering, but you can’t help but turn back and see that he is still staring at you with his intense blue eyes. you repeat this a few times before cutting off your own sentence with a giggle and covering your face with your hands.

toji chuckles in confusion, looking at the interviewer and then back at you, bewildered. “what-whats so funny?”

you look at toji with your hands still covering your face. “toji, i can’t concentrate when you look at me like that!”

toji tilts his head, swiftly shifting his chair in your direction and leans closer to you, practically nose to nose at this point. “like what?”

“like that!” you laugh, covering your hot face once more as he and the interviewer laugh at your actions.

the interviewer chimes in. “i do have to say, your eyes can be quite intimidating..”

“see?!” you say to toji and then look to the interviewer. “thank you.”

toji huffs and just looks at you. and you look back at him with a small grin on your face.

you speak. “as i was saying…”

you repeat your response to the question and toji exaggeratedly stares at you and you attempt to ignore it (and fail).

this was a behind the scenes clip, where your cast member is speaking about his characters relationship with the other main characters but sadly for him, that is not where the viewers’ attention was.

in the background, they see toji sitting on a couch looking at his phone and then you walking into frame. toji looks up from his phone, and if you look very closely, he can be seen smiling at you. you walk over and plop down on the couch right next to him. you both talk to each other for a few moments, faces close together and then you lay your head on his shoulder, closing your eyes and taking what appears to be a nap. toji, moving as slowly as he can, takes a blanket that is already on the couch and drapes of over you. you snuggle closer to him, prompting toji to rest his head on top of yours. he does just that.

during an interview with you and the cast members, including toji, in front of a live audience, you somehow found yourselves on the topic of the types of cars you all have. you then remember how toji had told you about a motorcycle he owned, but you forgot which kind.

“i think i wanna ride on toji’s..motorcycle! i think-”

you hear the audience laugh and hear a few wolf whistles and you turn to your fellow actors, who are also laughing, especially gojo. you seem confused, but then you think back to what you said a second ago and feel your face heat up in embarrassment.

“oh, no no nonono-” shaking your head vehemently, “that is not-”

“toji’s motorcycle eh?” gojo teases while raising his eyebrows and wiggling his fingers, which only encourages the mockery and your desire to punch him.

you cover your face with your hand and sigh. “oh my god.”

while everybody in the room makes fun of you, you look to the left to see toji’s reaction and the camera pans to his smug smirking face.

“i mean i’m free friday night so..” he trails off, winks at you and the audience goes crazy and you shove your face in your hands.

“forget i even said anything!”

you and toji were recording a little vlog like video for the fans, talking about what it was like on set when you get onto the subject of what working with the other cast members is like.

“yeah gojo’s is pain in the ass.” toji states and shakes his head, fondly almost. “never stops running that big mouth ‘a his.”

spits of laughter fall from your mouth at his frankness. “uhh..yeah that’s true, gojo if you see this don’t be offended!”

“yeah we still like you we just..wish you’d shut the fuck up more often.”

“toji!” you gasp and slap his chest, “you’re no spring chicken either you know.”

toji scoffs and looks at you with a raised brow. “yeah, you’re a handful yourself.”

“what? no i’m not!” toji tilts his head and blinks. “everyone says i’m great to work with. you’re such a liar.” you roll your eyes with a laugh.

toji chuckles and moves closer to you on the sofa, and leans towards your face. “no ‘s alright. i have big hands.” he places a kiss on your cheek.

“ew, you’re so corny!” you lean away and wipe away his kiss, trying not to smile and look flustered.

this was a big day for y/n x toji lovers, when a movie you were both in won an award. now, neither of you were the main characters, but the fans made sure to make you both the most popular ones.

while the director is accepting the award, fans zoomed in on you and toji standing near the back of the group of cast members, where you’re tearing up and trying not to cry. you’re wiping your tears and toji looks at you and does a double take when he realises that you’re crying. he looks down at you and hugs you from the side, which makes you lay your head on his chest and wrap an arm around his waist. toji accepts this invitation and full on hugs you, kissing the top of your head softly and rubbing your back.

toji posts workout videos on his instagram stories. they’re mostly of him lifting weights and they’re rare, so fans cherish them.

and then theres a short video of you laying on top of toji’s back while he does pushups like it’s nothing. you’re smiling, spreading your arms out like you’re flying. toji suddenly starts going fast as fuck, making you bounce and almost fall off. you gasp and start hitting the back of his head while the person recording starts to laugh (most likely gojo).

you fall off toji’s back and lay on the floor like a starfish. the camera pans to a proud looking toji before you kick his face.

That was the big question lately. You didn’t mind at all, you were proud of Hugh and always supported him. After the movie’s release, all anyone talked about was the ending where Hugh was shirtless.

“Yes, I have. I was at the premiere with Hugh,” you had an idea on where this interview was going. “Can I just say that I’ve gotten so many messages from friends and family about how jacked Hugh looks. One of my friends texted after she saw the movie and she’s like ‘since when was Hugh built like that? i can’t look at him the same now’.”

Then Jimmy took out a picture of Hugh posing without his top part of the suit. “I mean look at this! That’s your man!”

“That’s my man!” You smirked. The audience laughed.

“Were you on set for that scene? I know Hugh said that was one of the last scenes he filmed.” Jimmy said, putting the photo down.

“I wasn’t,” you frowned. “He actually wanted me to be on set that day so bad, but he didn’t tell me why.” You explained.

“Now you know!”

“Yup, but I think the day the filmed that scene i was with our daughter in New York and he was in LA.” You explained.

“And have you seen all the memes about it? Because it’s all over social media. You can’t escape Hugh Jackman.” Jimmy pulled out pictures of some tweets.

-Damian may not like crowds, but he’ll attend your movie premieres to support you. He’ll dress in a sleek black suit, standing by your side on the red carpet, looking every bit the brooding and supportive boyfriend. Despite the flashing cameras, he’s there for you.

-You sometimes invite Damian to visit you on set, and though he doesn’t show it, he’s fascinated by the behind-the-scenes world of filmmaking. He’ll quietly observe, occasionally giving you feedback on your performance in a way that’s both sweet and constructive. It’s his subtle way of showing he cares.

A/N: Bro I am on a resurgence. Might just fuck around and continue writing more fanfics or whatever.

It’s another busy day promoting your new movie with Sebastian, The Road Trip. It's a funny romcom about two best friends going on a long trip to see another friend who your character is dating. Interestingly enough, the guy who plays him is Chris Evans. The interviews are currently being done in pairs, and you're with Sebastian.

You've always been candid, speaking your mind without feeling shy. Deep down, you're a bit of a pessimist, accepting things as they are. When you first heard from your agent that you were cast in The Road Trip alongside Sebastian Stan and Chris Evans, you laughed hysterically. The idea that you, an unconventional beauty, were chosen to be on screen with those two seemed surreal. You never really think about dating co-stars, which helps with acting in general. The media is impressed with how chill you are around A-list actors, and even though it hasn’t fully sunk in yet, the industry has started promoting you to that list.

The interview has been going on for about 15 minutes when another journalist joins, mostly asking about the experience of working with the cast.

“It’s my first romcom, can you believe it?” you say.

“First?!” Sebastian stares in mock disbelief.

“I know, right?!” You feign surprise.

The interviewer continues, “How does it feel to do something lighter and a bit comedic for once?”

“You mean, a movie where no one dies?” Sebastian covers his mouth at your response.

“I mean essentially,” the interviewer laughs. “Wait, no one dies?!” They nudge you playfully.

“I mean, I’m not sure, no spoilers,” you say, breaking the fourth wall and looking into the camera. Sebastian cackles. “It’s definitely refreshing. It feels like going to school for some reason. Like I don’t want to miss a class just because I might miss something wild happening.”

“What?” Sebastian glares. “What school did you go to?”

“I mean, aside from the learning stuff…” You grimace. “It’s fun, honestly. I’d love to do more romcoms. It’s very down-to-earth and just resonates with you so much. I don’t wanna get too cheesy, but I’m such a hopeless romantic—this is my jam.”

“Sebastian, how’s your experience working with Chris again, this time outside of the Marvel universe?”

“Wait, this isn’t in the Marvel Universe?!” you butt in. Sebastian again, fakes a loud gasp. You two laugh. This interview feels like it’s going nowhere.

“It’s totally fun, as Y/N mentioned—it really is like going to class. But most of my scenes are with Y/N, so she’s like the lab partner I’ve never had. Chris was always texting us, checking which location we’re going to be at, making sure we’re scheduled on the same day. It’s fun when we’re both on set.”

You nod in agreement. “Yeah, we’ve got a good rhythm going. It’s like having a little family on set. Plus, Chris is always the one who brings snacks, so that’s a bonus.”

Sebastian laughs. “Oh, absolutely. Chris and his endless supply of trail mix.”

The interviewer chuckles. “Sounds like you all have a great dynamic. Was there a favorite scene you both enjoyed filming together?”

You think for a moment. “I really loved the scene where we’re stuck in the car during that rainstorm. It was so chaotic, but we had a blast improvising and just playing off each other.”

Sebastian nods. “Yeah, that was a good one. The rain machine was going full blast, and we were just trying not to crack up the entire time.”

The interviewer smiles. “It sounds like it was a lot of fun. And the chemistry definitely shows on screen. Speaking of different roles, Y/N, Sebastian’s been in the movie Fresh where he plays a sociopathic killer who preys on lonely women pretending to be a genuine guy.”

“I don’t like where this is going,” you say, laughing, as Sebastian shakes his head.

“Would you, like Noa, fall prey to Steve’s antics?” This question gets a louder laugh from Sebastian as your face shows pure shock. You hold him back with your hand and say,

“I’ve thought about this, to be honest,” you start, looking at Sebastian as he raises his eyebrows, impressed.

“Oh, you have?”

You laugh and continue, patting his thigh and looking back at the interviewer. “Me and my friend talked about it a while back. And it’s frightening because I would’ve probably ended up on a chopping block.”

“Noooo!” Sebastian shouts, “I was rooting for you.”

“No! But, like, you are incredibly good-looking and charismatic. It would be hard not to give my number at the grocery aisle.”

He tilts his head at your response. “Surely not good enough to get yourself killed?!”

“You’d be surprised how far I’d even go,” you say, as the interviewer laughs with you both. “Oh god, I need to call my therapist,” you add, ending the topic with the three of you gagging.

“Might just have to talk to mine too, after hearing that.”

You can already feel TikTok saving this clip and turning it into a meme.

You notice, after you call Sebastian good-looking, he’s been eyeing you sideways and biting his lip. As if he’s suddenly gone bashful. You can’t help but feel a boost in your ego. Could it be that Stan is shy? You make it a point to tease him for the remainder of the interview.

“What’s something funny or unexpected that happened on set?”

“Oh, there were so many moments,” you start. “One time, we were filming this really serious scene, and out of nowhere, a bird flew into the set and landed right on Sebastian’s shoulder.”

Sebastian laughs. “Yeah, I had no idea what to do. I just froze, and then Y/N started making bird noises to try and get it to fly away.”

You laugh, nodding. “It took a good ten minutes to get back into character after that. Everyone was cracking up.”

The interviewer grins. “That sounds hilarious. It’s great to hear that you all had such a good time. Speaking of moments on set, were there any funny or awkward moments while filming the more romantic or intimate scenes?”

Sebastian raises an eyebrow, smirking. “Oh, plenty. Like the time we were shooting that kiss scene in the rain, and Y/N kept slipping on the wet pavement.”

You roll your eyes playfully. “Hey, it was slippery! You were the one who can’t stop laughing during takes.”

Sebastian laughs. “True, true. But come on, we both know it was because you were so nervous about kissing me.” You notice him biting back.

You gasp in mock offense. “Excuse me, I was not nervous! I was just...distracted by how ridiculously good-looking you are. It’s hard to concentrate when you have that face right in front of you.” He smiles uncontrollably again, feeling defeated by your nonchalance. He wonders, how are you so good at this?

The interviewer laughs, clearly enjoying the banter. “So, who do you think had the hardest time keeping a straight face during those scenes?”

You both point at each other simultaneously, then laugh.

Sebastian leans back, shaking his head. “Definitely Y/N. There was this one scene where we were supposed to be having this deep, romantic conversation, and she just couldn’t stop giggling.”

You nudge him playfully. “Well, you weren’t helping with all your ad-libs! You kept whispering things like, ‘Is that your stomach growling or are you just happy to see me?’”

Sebastian laughs. “Hey, I was trying to lighten the mood! And let’s not forget the scene where we had to stare into each other’s eyes for what felt like an eternity. I swear, Y/N, you blink more than anyone I know.”

You smirk. “Only because I was trying to avoid getting lost in those baby blues of yours.” At this point, Sebastian was laughing hard, but feeling nervous at your jokes. He secretly wished it were all real, his ears were red and hot. He’s already thinking of how to approach you after the interview and get himself out of the friend zone which he didn’t even thought he’d be in, having found a new interest in you. 

The interviewer looks between the two of you, amused. “It sounds like you both had a lot of fun with it. Do you think all that chemistry will translate to the screen?”

Sebastian nods. “Oh, definitely. I think our off-screen dynamic really helped make the on-screen relationship feel more genuine. Plus, Y/N here is an amazing actress. She made it easy.”

You smile, feeling a bit bashful. “Well, Sebastian’s not too bad himself. It’s hard not to enjoy working with someone who’s so talented and, let’s be honest, ridiculously attractive.” 

Here she goes again .Sebastian grins. “Right back at you. But let’s be real, we’re both just incredibly good-looking people trying to make a movie here.” The internet is gonna have a field day.

The interviewer laughs. “Sounds like a tough job! Any last funny or romantic moments you’d like to share?”

You think for a moment. “There was this one scene where we had to dance together. Neither of us are professional dancers, so there were a lot of missteps and toe-stepping. But it ended up being one of the sweetest scenes because it felt so real and unpolished.”

Sebastian nods. “Yeah, that was a great scene. It was supposed to be this perfectly choreographed dance, but it turned into us just goofing around and having fun. I think it really captured the essence of our characters' relationship.”

The interviewer smiles, clearly delighted by your stories. “Well, thank you both for sharing these wonderful moments. It’s been a pleasure talking with you.”

As you and Sebastian leave the interview room, you head towards the lobby where a few other cast members are mingling. The energy is still high from the fun and laughter of the interview. Sebastian nudges you playfully as you walk.

“Hey, remember in the interview when you called me incredibly good-looking and charismatic?” he teases, a mischievous glint in his eye.

You roll your eyes, grinning. “Oh, come on. Don’t let it go to your head, Stan.”

He chuckles. “Too late. I’m pretty sure I’m going to bring that up every chance I get now.”

“You would,” you laugh, shaking your head. “ It’s not like I was lying.”

Sebastian stops walking, turning to face you. “Well, thank you. And for the record, you’re pretty incredible yourself. Both on screen and off.”

You feel a warm blush creeping up your cheeks, putting a palm to your chest as if to continue the gag. “Thanks, Seb. That means a lot.”

He smiles, his eyes softening. “No, really, it’s been really great working with you. I think we make a pretty good team.”

“I think so too,” you agree, feeling a flutter in your stomach, you realize he’s actually serious now. There’s a moment of silence as you both just look at each other, the playful teasing from earlier now replaced with something more tender.

Sebastian breaks the silence first. “So, what do you say we celebrate wrapping up the promotion tour? Maybe dinner tonight?”

You raise an eyebrow, teasingly. “Is this your way of asking me out, Stan?”

He grins, a little sheepishly. “Maybe it is. What do you think?”

You pretend to think about it for a moment, then nod. “I think it sounds like a great idea.”

“Perfect,” he says, looking genuinely pleased. “I’ll pick you up at eight?”

“Eight it is."

takes place during the first poguelandia ahead of OBX3 :) based on an ask under here

The excited chatter of fans could be heard from the inside of their vehicle as they approached the back entrance to Poguelandia, the sun just beginning to rise, signalling the beginning of their very long day. The event, which helped to celebrate the highly anticipated release of OBX3, was months in the making. Music played softly from the speakers of the car, Drew stretching his legs out from the seat next to y/n, his arm perched along the back of her seat.

Y/n watched him as he chatted with their assistants, admiring his messily styled hair and the brilliant shade of green of his jacket. As he talked, he pushed his sunglasses up with a ringed finger before turning to look at her.

“What?” Drew asked with a furrow of his brow. Y/n shook her head, grinning back at him, as he tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. She moved to rest her head on his shoulder for only a brief moment before the car came to a stop. Both Drew and y/n’s assistants quickly climbed out, Drew following them before turning to offer y/n his hand. She took it, climbing out of the car and smoothing out the front of her jeans. The chunky sleeves of her cardigan billowed gently in the cool early air, making her instinctually hug into Drew’s side.

Y/n looked around at the expansive grounds of the festival, marvelling at everything from the large inflatable chicken to the stage and countless food trucks. After a briefing from the organizers, the two of them set off on their tour throughout the festival. Station by station, they chatted with interviewers and ate delicious food, all while having their fair share of drinks throughout their journey. The drinks seemed to build up quickly, and by time they’d made it to the limbo contest, the two of them were comfortably buzzed.

After a couple rounds, Y/n shrugged off her cardigan. Y/n dramatically stretched before she leaned back and dipped under the bar before popping up with a cheer. Drew raised his drink, hollering as y/n made her way back over to him.

“Show them how it’s done, Starkey!” Y/n said with a quirk of her brows, taking Drew’s drink from him as he made his way over towards the bar. Drew rolled his sleeves up, the crowd of fans watching nearby cheering excitedly. He leaned back, shifting his feet forward as he attempted to shimmy under the bar. However, once his chest started to hit the bar, he let out a sputtering laugh, causing him to fall backwards onto the ground. As soon as he hit the ground, he let out a huff of air before collapsing into a fit of giggles. Y/n ran over, laughing as Drew sat up with an exaggerated groan before offering her hand out to him

“I’m too old for this.” Drew said, taking y/n’s hand as she attempted to pull him to his feet. Both of them feeling the buzz of the alcohol as well as the remnants of the early morning, the two of them stumbled to the side. Drew quickly grasped onto y/n’s hip, steadying the two of them as they continued to laugh.

“I think we’re too drunk for this.” Y/n muttered lowly, Drew chuckling lightly before resting his arm around her shoulders. Woven throughout the day, they were able to talk with fans, snapping photos and signing autographs. The day flew by, the sun beginning to set as they finally had some time to relax and watch one of the performers.

“I can’t believe how many people showed up.” Drew said, as they walked along a crowd of fans. Despite the barricade that divided them from the throng of excited onlookers, Drew’s arm still wrapped protectively around y/n’s waist as they greeted the fans. After noticing an especially energetic attendee, y/n approached them to take a photo. Reluctantly, Drew allowed her to escape her safe spot by his side as she took the phone from the fan. He watched as the two of them got into position, smiling to himself as y/n flashed a wide grin for the camera.

“C’mere, baby,” y/n shouted over the loud crowd, the fans squealing excitedly at y/n’s nickname for Drew. A slight pink rose in Drew’s face as he joined y/n for the photo, finding his place next to her, his hand finding the small of her back as he smiled for the photo. Y/n snapped a few photos before Drew leaned in, pressing a kiss to y/n’s cheek, which only made y/n laugh and the fans to scream louder. Handing the fan her phone back, the two of them continued on, stopping at the bar to grab drinks before heading to their spot to watch the performers.

As the lights lowered and the music began, Drew pulled y/n closer, her back resting against his chest and hand resting atop his around her waist. The two of them swayed to the music, soaking in the brilliant orange the setting sun reflected across the sky and the energy emanating from the excited attendees and performers.

Y/n took a long sip of her drink, pulling the sweet cocktail away from her lips with a yawn. Drew squeezed her waist lightly, lowering his face to rest his nose against y/n’s cheekbone.

“You tired?” Drew asked, his lips brushing gently against her skin as he spoke, sending shivers down y/n’s spine.

“Yeah. It’s been a long day.” Y/n said, her eyes flicking over to watch as a smile spread across Drew’s lips.

“It has been, indeed, but” —Drew pressed a kiss to y/n’s cheek— “there’s nobody else I’d rather have done it with.”

“There’s nobody else I’d rather have done it with either, Starkey.” Y/n said, moving her spare hand to brush lightly against Drew’s cheek. A light blush washed over his cheeks as she caressed his face before returning her hand to its spot atop his.

So, as the night stretched ever further, and stars filled the night sky, the two of them stayed like that: swaying to the music, entwined in eachothers arms, and hopelessly in love.

drew and obx actress!reader who have the most legendary season 4 bts photos ever, plus the pics that fans manage to take of them wandering around morocco and south carolina when they’re filming.

they’re seen at the markets together after shooting and fans think they see them holding hands, but maybe obx actress!reader was just reaching for her purse… they’ve been awfully close all night though, and fans fail to capture the moment when drew places a quick kiss against her temple. it’s something rafe as a character does a lot and drew has started to grow fond of it.

obx actress!reader being drew’s passenger princess in morocco, his open top rental car allowing fans to snap pics of the pair ready to explore the desert.

the pair taking a cheeky pic in bed in between takes, their smiles hinting at the steamy scene they were filming, with obx actress!reader only clad in ‘rafe’s’ oversized shirt. her bare legs had been out the whole scene and drew was loosing his cool, especially when the director called cut (he wants to keep going).

at the season 4 premiere, everyone is excited to see the cast again. drew arriving before obx actress!reader, only to quickly run to her car to help her out and walk her to the red carpet. he lets her have her solo photo moment before joining her side. his arms instinctively wrap around her waist as he draws her closer to his side, the pair posing like usual. the cameras catch the flirty, cheeky gazes shared between the two actors, though later in the evening, the pair are seen a little tipsy and clinging to each other, hands intertwined as they celebrate their hard work.

this clip was filmed by one of the fans in the crowd - it was another award show where you’re sitting at a table with other actors. you keep tugging on the dress your stylist (who your fans hate) made you wear, pulling it down with each movement you make. it was short and you were clearly uncomfortable with its length.

seemingly noticing your constant shifting, toji who is also sitting at your table, looks at you. he leans in and speaks to you and you look down, referring to your outfit and the too short of a dress you’re wearing. toji, in surprisingly gentlemen fashion of him, takes off his tuxedo jacket and drapes it over your lap, effectively covering your thighs and knees. you look at toji and thank him, flustered at his kind gesture. he just nods.

౨ৎ second clip

(a bloopers clip) you were on set, everything was running smoothly and everything was going well. it was an action movie with toji and you decided to do one of the stunts on your own. and then you fall awkwardly, spraining your ankle.

toji is kneeling beside you, asking if you’re okay and scanning you down for any injuries. you laugh and you tell him that you have hurt your ankle. toji helps you up and asks if you can walk. a small medical team waits nearby.

“yeah i can. it’s fine.”

you take one step and limp harshly, almost falling over. ouch. it hurt more than you thought it did. toji reached his hands out, ready to catch you if you fell.

“okay maybe it’s not fine. but i can still-”

“yeah forget that.”

toji picks you up bridal style, scooping you up like it natural to him. you gasp, grabbing onto his shoulders to balance yourself. “toji!”

“someone get an ice pack over here!”

cut to you laying on a couch with an ice pack on your swollen ankle, toji crouched behind you as you give the camera a thumbs up. “i’m okay!”

toji ruffles your hair, blatantly looking at you closely. “yeah she is.”

a fan secretly recorded you & toji in a restaurant, on what appears to be a date. you’re sitting opposite him, eating and speaking when you seem to be interested in what’s on his plate. you tilt your head and point at his meal, talking but nobody knows exactly what you’re saying. toji does a full body sigh and then picks up some of his food on his fork and holds it up to your mouth. you smile widely, accepting his offer and stuffing your cheeks full. toji uses his thumb to wipe away food left on the corner of your lips. you open your mouth, silently demanding more food. toji’s head rolls and he just pushes his whole plate over to you, shaking his head. you clap your hands and dig in.

yaps-a-lot || ‘gorgeous’ by taylor swift was on repeat so here we are. ending is a little rusty it’s been a while since i’ve written anything so bare with me :)

“just go talk to him.”

“absolutely not,” you protested quickly. madelyn and madison have spent the better part of an hour trying to get you to even look in the direction of their co-star who mingled across the room. none other than drew starkey. “i can’t say anything to his face, are you kidding?”

“why not?” madelyn whispered a little harshly.

“cause look at him!” you motioned a panicked hand in his direction as madelyn scoffed quietly. the roll of her eyes playful but not any less meaningful.

“you guys have been avoiding each other for months,” she reminded. “you can’t keep walking the other way when you run into each other on set.”

“it’s worked for me this long,” the tight lipped smile that followed was enough for madison to finally whine this time.

“c’mon,” mads whined. “you guys would be so good together.”

“says who?”

“everyone!” the two girls practically shouted.

you looked around the party slowly when everyone had looked over at the three of you. ignoring the shocked stares from everyone before you downed the rest of your drink, the liquor burning your throat that had you almost coughing it back up.

“jesus christ, i don’t think the people above us heard that,” you grumbled. “try it louder next time.”

you tried to walk away before madelyn was grabbing your arms and pulling you back. “nooooo, no, no. c’mon. just give him a chance. he’s seriously a good guy, there’s no need for this back and forth between you two.”

“there’s no back and forth between us because there’s nothing between us,” you offered stiffly.

madison had snuck off as madelyn’s pouted lips pouted even more as she held you in place.

“i think we both know that’s not true,” she joked.

you sighed a little heavily, letting yourself look back over at drew across the room. he was barely paying attention to the conversation that was going on between chase and jd, putting in a few words here and there, but he was two busy watching the party around the rim of his cup.

the music drowned into nothing as you watched him. his ocean blue eyes scanning the party like he was looking for something. or someone maybe. you.

it’s like the party froze when he met your eyes. the music muffled by the sound of the blood rushing to your ears, the hitch of your breath suddenly the loudest thing in the room as he sent the smallest of smiles your way. if you were being honest, you actually had no reason to avoid him on set. it was just the nerves really, which was weird for everyone to see cause you rarely got nervous around people. the last time you were nervous around someone was when you had met meryl streep on a red carpet one time. that was the only time anyone had seen you nervous simply because you were too starstruck.

so how in the hell was drew the only other one to get you to act that way?

the only thing that could break your eyes from him, was when they caught sight of madison walking up to him. you watched for a few seconds, watching her explain something before pointing in your direction.

“mm, nope. bye,” the second madison was dragging him over, you were turning around and sneaking away before madelyn could even grab you.

you didn’t stick around to hear what conversation had followed, weaving your way through the bustling party that seemed to get all that more stuffy the second madelyn and mads had started their tirade against you.

maybe it’s because you were freaking out slightly, or it was the alcohol.

the alcohol was the easiest thing to blame. it had worked in any situation before…so why wouldn’t it work in this one? you were definitely too tipsy to be left alone with the one co star everyone in that room was trying to set you up with. two young actors, both single, both incredibly hot, and both avoiding the person right in front of them. typical!

dating had been…hard, so to speak in the past. it was just something you couldn’t seem to enjoy. these days people were only after the idea of sleeping with the actress that everyone loved. they weren’t looking for an actual date that could lead to something. safe to say, the dating life was pretty much nonexistent.

and drew starkey was not going to be the one to break that streak.

another shot later and you were buzzing. maybe a little numb. definitely tipsy. it was hard to tell at that point.

“so, this is what my co-stars do at parties?” a voice sounded from behind you causing you to freeze. “ignore everyone and throw back shots.”

he was teasing, you could tell. you could even hear the slight smirk on his face before you looked over your shoulder slowly.

and sure as shit…drew starkey was behind you.

“it’s, uh —“ you cleared your throat. “helps with the nerves,” a short nod followed from you as the smile on his face grew. “lotta people.”

“people make you nervous?”

no. not at all. he made you nervous.

“sometimes,” you managed the confession through a whisper.

your eyes darted back to the drinks table in front of you, trying to find your next victim before settling on an easy mixed drink.

a quiet chuckle fell from his lips as he leaned against the table beside you, his own cup still resting comfortably in his hands and a hand in his pocket before he watched the party.

“you girls sure know how to throw a party,” he complimented. you, madelyn, and madison had been planning this party for months. one to celebrate the beginning of filming that started a little over two weeks ago.

“that’s all maddie and madison,” you brushed off. “i just supplied the alcohol,” you joked, holding up the liquor bottle to show it off as he looked over before pouring it into your cup.

he laughed again, a genuine one with a duck of his head. your nerves eased a little at the sound, the alcohol running through your system relaxing you even more.

you turned around, leaning back against the table with him as you carefully sipped away at your drink quietly. trying to avoid looking at him at any cost in all honesty.

you should’ve been mad at him. furious even for the way he was making you feel. this…nervous. that wasn’t normal.

god, he was so gorgeous.

the deep breath that escaped you had him curious, looking over at you as you caught it through the corner of your eye. the way his eyes tried to catch yours — it was making this worse. everything was so much easier when you could just ignore him. but the way you hugged your cup carefully to your chest, he couldn’t help but stare at you.

for a man who hadn’t said more than a few words to you, the magnetic field around him was a little too strong, you couldn’t help but be drawn to him. a silent glance towards him, a breath hitching at the back of your throat, every nervous swallow had you on your toes.

anyone else you had talked to with ease. like everyone was an old time friend with whom you were catching up with for the first time in years. he should be taking it as a compliment really that you were talking to everyone there but him.

something snapped you back into reality when he placed a careful hand on your ribs suddenly. reaching over for an unopened bottle of beer behind you. caging you between himself and the table, you were suddenly very aware of…everything.

the smell of his cologne, the t-shirt you wore that was well loved — stretched but not noticeable if you hadn’t been three inches from it — even the faint alcohol smell coming from him. it all grew tenfold when he had reached over you.

“sorry,” he apologized in a whisper you could barely hear.

“‘t’s okay,” you gave a small smile.

you followed as he leaned back once again, popping the bottle open with ease.

it would’ve done better to maybe be more mindful of where your eyes traveled. to respect him a little more like he deserved…but you just couldn’t help it. the way his shirt rode up a little and revealed the waist of his underwear when he ran a hand through his hair…it had you nervous all over again.

you cleared your throat again, taking a sip of your drink. he’d caught your eye for only a second, another smile growing on his face before he hid it behind the neck of his beer bottle when he drank some.

“so, what’s after this?” his question was a curious one, a hand motioning to the party before it scratched at the back of his neck.

you took a deep breath, taking a moment to think about it. the alcohol had hit your system now, the nerves dying down to nothing more than a light tingle. it’s what kept you alive.

“oh, you know…probably just gonna stumble on home to my cats,” the tease fell from your smiling lips with a shrug of your shoulder. your feet carrying you away back into the party and leaving drew alone just like you two had started the night. “unless you wanna come along?”
