Yasmin Bey ( born Dante Terrell Smith; December 11, 1973), best known by his stage name Mos Def, is a rapper, poet, actor, and activist. He first formed a short-lived rap group of siblings called Urban Thermo Dynamic(UTD). After the group fizzled, he began appearing on various albums of other artists. He eventually started working with rapper Talib Kweli, forming Blackstar. He released his first solo album, Black on Both Sides, in 1999 and has succeeded as a solo artist. He is on several lists of greatest M.C.’s Mos Def cadence, which is pretty unique; he can go from abstract to literal. His background in poetry and freestyle skills give him an upper hand over other rappers. Mos Def has appeared in several films and television outside the hip-hop world and is probably one of the better rappers/actors. From 2002 to 2007, he hosted HBO’s Def Poetry Jam. He is also very socially conscious, and the lyrics reflect that. Mos Def is a rapper/ actor who has succeeded in both fields. If you have the time or resources,  check out his thoughts on Drake. He is one of the best M.C.s in the game.

i guess i woke up and decided i want to start posting my art work. i made this piece in 2018/19 about climate change. i was new to photography then and there's probably a lot i could and can still work on but my focus was on nature photography. my favourite photo has a hidden butterfly in it. i used an old newspaper for the background and then stuck pieces of articles I found about climate issues. there are also paper flowers stuck on top of the art piece, just to create a 3D effect.

How does Fanny react to the fans (very good) of her feet? (Yes in that way ;) )
it depends! you see, anon, fanny’s very proud of her size and destructive prowess, which is why she gets pretty annoyed when those dumb little bugs her adoring fans start crawling all over her talons. when they keep a respectful distance to compliment her, though, especially if she’s chosen to dress up, she seems to get a bit shy… even giants can get flustered, you know x)

Understanding the Activist Left - "Complexity"
Another common tactic of the woke activist left is to argue that concepts that seem straightforward are actually not and are “complex”. A deeper higher level of understanding is necessary to properly understand the topic – strangely enough this added complexity always points toward the ideological pre-conclusions the activist has in mind. Let’s set the scene. An individual asks a question to…

Aretha Louise Franklin (born March 25, 1942) was a singer and songwriter. Franklin began her career as a child singing gospel in her church, where her father was the minister. At the age of 18, Franklin embarked on a secular career and found mainstream success at Atlantic Records; she was able to release numerous hit songs such as "Respect," (You Make Me Feel) Natural Woman, and "Spanish Harlem." Franklin even integrated gospel music with "Say a Little Prayer. She dominated the music charts throughout the '60s, '70s, and '80s. On a personal note, I was always amazed by how over the many decades she was making music, her voice remained strong and dynamic. She and her music appeared in the film The Blues Brothers, where she performed the song "Think." Franklin could move from gospel to soul to R&B and other genres and keep that wonderful voice. I always like to mention that Otis Redding loved her cover of his song, Respect" Yeah, it was initially his song) She set the standard for women in the soul and R&B genres. Franklin will always be a dynamic and influential singer. Franklin will always be an active and effective singer; family, fans, and colleagues will miss her.
