Literally insane to me how small the general webtoon fandom is outside of the webtoon app itself (and maybe reddit??)
I've talked to multiple people irl who LOVE reading webtoon, but the online community is borderline threadbare ! Most people on Tumblr have no IDEA who our blorbos are! I've checked tags for some fairly popular webtoon and it was like visiting that Tatooine town in the Mandalorian where there are 5 citizens total, but only if you also count the Mayor, the sheriff, and the deputy.
Lore Olympus is the most popular webtoon and has under 2,000 fics on AO3. Lookism has roughly 1,000. Unordinary, THEE legacy webtoon, only has 600, and it's been running for almost 7 years now. It has nearly 6M subscribers and still gets 50K+ likes each week. It's not dead by any means.
I guess it doesn't help that each webtoon is its own micro ecosystem and once a webtoon ends, that ecosystem typically fades with it. But webtoons can go on runs longer than most shows on streaming services, and those fandoms burn hot and bright even if only for the first month of a new season drop.
By comparison, webtoon fans are largely casual about their enthusiasm, even if they're highly invested in the story or characters. From my experience, only the most passionate try to connect with other fans online. But when you're passionate about one webtoon, I suppose it's hard to show constant excitement about the 20+ other stories one might keep up with. Still, between the 85 million monthly readers, you'd think each major webtoon would at least have a dedicated fan base (meaning people who regularly post theories, thoughts, fics, and fanart) of mere thousands outside of the app.
One exception for this is that Batman webtoon? It actually trends on Tumblr every now and again. But it doesn't count, because Batman has a built in fandom who'll eat up and yell in the streets about any content where he's a decent dad.
People who read romance webtoon all tend to read the same comics, and actively understand the references to other popular romance comics (Trashta, Team Seojun, SLS), so you'd think there'd be a greater sense of unity. More people actively searching out others to discuss with and posting their thoughts online and not just in that webtoon's comment section.
I mean, C'MON girls!!! Millions of people log into that app like everyday!!! WHERE is the community?? WHERE is the fanart?? WHERE is the fanfic?? WHY does Odd Girl Out only have 7 fanfics?? WHY are there like 2 people on Twitter posting about Weak Hero?? Head in hands fr

You can tell how much a lady will not level up by how much she doesn’t love herself—and you can tell how much someone doesn’t love themselves by how much they don’t understand themselves. I’ve been telling you ladies since the dawn of this blog: a level-up is personal. Custom-made. Made for you and only you. You cannot achieve another person’s goal.
Listen, the highest form of love is knowledge. To be loved is to be known. To love is to look—with the purpose of seeing—and then understanding what you see. To love yourself, you have to know yourself. And that takes nothing but self-observation. No judgment. Open acceptance.
What prompted this? I was talking to one of my girls in my personal coaching program yesterday. We started this month, so we’re still learning each other. My first topic is always fashion, because the outside world is a mirror of the inner—and you can easily understand someone from their presentation.
So this girl and I go through her closet, and I’m honestly both impressed and jealous. We are talking runway-worthy gowns. Designer bags. Louboutin heels. The kind of closet you get in your starter-pack Kardashian era. She looks at me like, “What do we think?” And apart from being impressed by the sheer amount that closet adds to her net worth… I am also deeply disappointed.
Why?
Because she is a textbook introvert. An AO3 nerd who spends all day in pajamas and works online (if you can even call it that) and is introverted even outside—i.e. would rather do indoor activities than outdoor. She’s also hyperactive and sporty. That is not the closet of an 18-year-old valedictorian homebody chess-playing video game addict online business owner. That is a Paris Hilton closet. You will NOT be wearing that micro skirt, ever. Let’s not lie to ourselves.
So she poured all that money (yes, she’s wealthy, but that’s not the point??) into another person’s closet—but inside her own house. What she does actually wear is three sets of loungewear that have seen the washing machine so many times they are fighting for their lives to hold on to color. And she won’t buy a new set because it’s “not elegant.”
So I know I will need Jesus and all of heaven when we get to the “self-love” section. Pray for me, people.
It is very important that you stop looking for trends and God knows what, and start observing yourself. Set your goals according to that, so you don’t waste time and money and actually—for once—achieve your yearly goals. Because they belong to who you are, not who you wish you were.
One of the goals I see a lot is “lose weight.” And you know what? Hell yeah. There’s no empowerment in obesity, let’s get healthy. I get it—I want to be a healthy BMI so I can clear brain fog, look better, feel better, function better, yes. But as a person who spends most of their day indoors, is barely attracted to men, and works in corporate… why are you killing yourself trying for a Bella Hadid body when you’ve got Salma Hayek genetics and you don’t need it? I get starvation if you’re a K-pop idol or a model. I get it. But you’re a regular civilian—just stop at “healthy BMI.” Because not only is it not fun, it’s also extremely unhealthy to have zero body fat. What are you even doing this for? It’s torture. If you don’t need to… what’s the point?
Or the classic “wake up at 5 a.m.”—makes sense, I see it. But if you’re a night owl, what are you doing? Your productive hours are 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.—why would you be awake at 5? That’s when you’re supposed to be going to bed after wrapping up your work.
Or “gym 3 days a week.” I love it, I do. But look at yourself in the mirror and say that again. Be honest—is it going to happen? Have you considered that maybe you’re not a gym person? That there are other ways to move your body that don’t require you to battle depression and poor time management in spandex?
You can easily tell who will not be achieving their yearly goals by comparing the goals to the person. No—those are not your goals. They are someone else’s. So another year goes by, and you achieve nothing. Again.
And if you just—if you just—observed your behavior, with no judgment, without slapping on classifications like “lazy” or “wrong” or whatever else… if you just said, “Okay, how do I make me work, in a way that works for me?” You wouldn’t need affirmations to tell you you’re good enough.
You’d just be.

Modern aesthetic is based on consumerism
Seriously. If you look up like fairycore or Whimsigoth (using these as examples bc i love that vibe) all you will see are items to purchase. Which is what capitalism and consumerism have done to us as a society. We base our identities not off of what we are, but rather what we have. We create profiles for ourselves irl to look like the kind of person that does xyz. It’s made subculture feel hollow and vapid.
I am sososososo sick of this. Let’s not walk the walk, let’s talk the talk too. I want to hear your fairycore playlists. I want to know the activities that make someone that. I want to know what books are whimsigoth. Let’s create an *actual* subculture rather than a fashion trend that will have us throwing our items away in a year.
I’m gonna rb this later with how I’m gonna start defining these particular aesthetics. I want to belong to an actual community of people with a shared interest, not just a shared wardrobe. It should be about so much more than just what we look like! It’s about shared values and thinking. Let’s actually have a philosophy behind this.
*before anyone comes for me, yes clothes and overall look are valid things to have an interest and passion for, and are a big part of aesthetic/subculture, and I love my wardrobe but I want to see more than JUST items! I love fashion but I want to partake in something deeper than simply a micro fashion trend and I feel like subculture lately is really lacking in anything BUT items, but I’m not trying to gatekeep nor tell anyone that they’re not good enough/doing it right! Let’s all be kind to each other plz*

If you were to break the period since Flashpoint up into 3-4 eras, specifically based on how they handle Batfamily relationships with each other and the broader DC, how would you do it? (If such a question interests you.) Also, what dynamics would you highlight as shorthand for that era?
I've had a play around with it, and while I can break things down into more micro trends, there's really no reason not to use the New 52-Rebirth-Infinite Frontier breakdown for the post Flashpoint relationship differences.
If I were being picky, I'd probably start the current era at Joker War in 2020 rather than at Infinite Frontier proper as a better Batfamily marker in and of itself, but we're only talking a couple of months difference either way.
New 52 (2011-2016):
Basically, this is the 'characters don't feel like themselves' era, because the dynamics have so wildly shifted for almost everyone (Damian and Kate excepted). It's a period that feels extremely focused on everyone's relationships to Bruce in particular, with only one or maybe two other major interpersonal relationships shown outside of that.
So you see everyone generally grouped into pairs even during events. Jason mostly appears with Tim. Dick spends time with Damian or with Barbara. And so on. They don't get jumbled up together in different combinations much, or have opportunities where a bigger group are working together.
There is a pivot around mid 2014 in this era (around issues #30-34) that moves various Bat characters back to feeling like they have interpersonal relationships, rather than largely being satellites around Bruce: Robin Rises, the two Eternals, and Robin War in particular are the best examples of this. And a lot of that has to do with the fact Bruce from Zero Year onwards sort of stops being an active character in the broader books, as we transition into particularly Superheavy onwards.
But generally, a lot of this whole era feels really empty in terms of Batfamily relationships that are not with Bruce, and part of that is because it's so uncertain which ones we're expected to be assuming from Flashpoint still exist (and then with those assumptions often destroyed by writers contradicting each other), and part of it is that they don't really have proper crossovers until Batman Eternal. Sure, The Court of Owls and Death of the Family happen before them, but both are heavily focused on Bruce and simultaneously keep everyone from interacting with each other much.
In terms of how the Batfamily reads: it feels VERY pared down. Only Bruce, Dick, Jason, Tim, Damian and Babs are relevant, and Tim's only barely so. Other characters might move in and out of storylines but they don't really have any attachments to the rest.
Rebirth to Joker War (2016-2020):
I think the most noticeable thing about this period in terms of Batfamily relationships is the tension it has from trying to re-expand the timeline back out.
Some characters (like Jason and Damian and Kate) have personalities and relationships that are essentially identical to their n52 ones, or only with a minor "we added back in all the most relevant preboot stories" change. Some characters (like Tim) got rebuilt into their preboot form, but with everything that happened earlier being hazy. A lot of the others (like Dick and Barbara and Bruce) were uneasy grafts: Dick had his childhood with Bruce back but he and Babs were still only about 22, not the age they actually were at the end of preboot. The age gap between Jason and Tim remained out to about 4 years, while Tim to Damian tightened to about 3 years.
There was a lot that was sort of in a hazy 'we are taking vibes from this but there's no certainty' for characters, because there were only a few hard reboots and mostly everyone was just repointing characters in the direction of their preboot personalities and relationships, rather than explicitly kicking n52 out of continuity.
So it felt like a lot of interpersonal relationships were once again a go, but they got reruns to re-establish them for audiences. We literally see plots like Tim Seeley redoing the Dick and Helena romance so that they could once again be exes, we see Barbara and Jason Bard retreading and recreating their pre-COIE relationship status, we see Cass needing to establish relationships with everyone, we see Tim have to explicitly have Zatanna remove a block so he can remember Young Justice, etc.
There is also very much a focus on a nuclear family read of found family. It's Bruce And His Kids, and the most obvious encapsulation of this is everything around Tom King's Batman run and its focus on the BatCat wedding. The more complicated relationships between characters who mentored each other or had relationships that weren't referenced off Bruce still hadn't really returned. You get the impression that Dick and Tim are brothers as Bruce is both of their father and they were both Robins, rather than because they have a whole personal relationship that doesn't require Bruce at all, and so on.
There was also a lot of book siloing going on, honestly. The start of Rebirth assigned every Bat character Their Title (or maybe at most 2) and that character largely did not appear outside of their assigned title, and when they did it was mostly only cameos. So we got to see various Bats mixing when assigned to the same title, but they didn't cross over much.
There's also the difficulty with the period that both Tim and Dick cumulatively spend a lot of time off page and out of the rest of the Bat books between Mr Oz and Ric Grayson, and Damian was in the process of disappearing off right when 5G got canned. So there's not really many solid points during the whole 5 years when everyone is actually around at the same time, which also consistently leaves a gap in various dynamics.
Infinite Frontier Onwards (2021-now)
If I'm frank, the era since Joker War ended and DiDio's firing has been characterised by a lot of writers spending a lot of time re-establishing the primacy of pre-Flashpoint for character backstories, personalities and relationships (not you, Jason).
If Rebirth was DC trying to work out how to attach the fandom's favourite character traits, personalities and storylines, back onto characters who had been stripped down, IF onwards has been a lot of outright "we've stopped trying to make things line up and have soft rebooted everything. For preboot characters you SHOULD be able to jump on to their current stories if the last thing you read was before Flashpoint".
So, via the 'all possible backstories are accessible to choose from' we have seen a lot of straight out restoration of old dynamics. Not everyone got restored immediately; Dick got his everything back in 2020 while Cass had to wait until 2023, for example. But characters now actually have relationships with each other again that don't require them to think about Bruce! Tim and Babs can be thick as thieves in Nightwing in a story because they have lots of history together! Barbara and Cass have a proper big/little sister relationship again! People call Barbara for help and information! Dick can hate Jean-Paul and know why he feels that way!
The Future:
The final question to ask is "so when does the Infinite Frontier era end?" in terms of Batfamily, and I think the answer is that we're currently at a transition point that will become more clear in a year or so as to whether we're shifting out of it right now.
In particular, the vibes of what is happening around Batman as a title right now feels like we're about to hit a shakeup.
Characters have pretty much all now integrated where they were as of Flashpoint into their modern characterisation and are starting to move forward in stories again, rather than spending lots of time re-establishing things.

hey, everyone!
My name is Ley (pronounced like "Lee," she/they) and I'm a fiction writer/editor based in the PNW. I haven't done a proper writeblr intro in a while, so I figure the new year is a great time to reintroduce myself to the community!
— about me
An important thing to understand about me and the way I talk about writing is that this stuff is literally my entire life. Even outside of work, I don't think I have a single interest or hobby that doesn't relate back to storytelling in some capacity. I'm an avid media consumer and critic, and will hyperanalyze just about anything that catches my fancy for more than a minute.
I love science fiction and fantasy, and my goal as a writer is to take all the genres I loved growing up and create stories that are a little more diverse, inclusive, and queer.
— about the blog
I came to writeblr mostly to share my work, but also to find an active community where I can get excited with other writers and talk shop. Marketing is obviously a really important part of the publishing industry, but I get tired of having to filter every thought I have about my work and experiences through the lens of aesthetic micro-trends just to put it out in the world. Sometimes I just want to pop off about scenes I'm proud of, you know?
Above all else, I really just want to connect with more writers like myself, ones who got their start in fandom spaces and are working to take their writing from a hobby into a career. I see you, I am you, I love you, let's be friends!
You’ll definitely see me posting and reblogging a lot of stuff that isn’t necessarily related to writing, so be ready for that. My art exists in the context of my personality and the world as a whole, and I simply do not have it in me to maintain a whole separate blog for silly nonsense and memes. Just consider it a way to get to know the writer as well as the writing!
— about my writing
I write a lot, though most of it is disconnected nonsense. Flash fiction and short stories are where I really thrive as a writer. I don't tend to commit to long-form projects, but I have a few projects that I'll occasionally share details about!
I like to describe my style as "earnest and character-forward," which is a fancy way of saying that I like driven protagonists who think too much and are emotional to the point of it being a character flaw.
My goal is to share more of my original writing moving forward, so hopefully you'll get to see all of this for yourself. If I'm totally honest, though, you'll probably see more of me discussing my work than actually writing it.
— about my projects
Here are the things you'll most likely see me posting about:
Agnomen: A sci-fi retelling of Hamlet and Coriolanus, currently in its very preliminary stages. It is literally my Roman Empire, except it's set on a moon of a planet that I'm calling Jupiter as a placeholder (but please note that it isn't actually Jupiter, as Jupiter is a gas giant and therefore a scientifically impossible setting for large sections of the plot).
Alter Ego: A superhero fic in which not-so-mild-mannered reporter Drew Derrick fights for mutant rights and can't seem to get his act together when it comes to keeping the complicated parts of his life separate.
Untitled Fantasy Project: The very first project I ever wrote, and the piece I return to every so often when writing is feeling more like a slog than a fun hobby. I set a lot of one-offs in this world and follow a few key characters around without them having a real plot.
D&D: I write a lot about Baz, my Wild Magic Barbarian. He's a regency noble with a lot of problems, and I care about him very much. I also have various other settings and characters, but he's my most active PC at the moment and therefore gets the most attention.
Short Stories: Sometimes I write these, and sometimes I like them enough to share!
— tag directory
ley rambles: my (often wordy) opinions about things
ley writes: not necessarily my writing, but talking about my writing
my writing: stories, blurbs, and other content I've written
not my writing: reblogs and creative writing that I liked, shared, and sometimes commented on
#also i am open to asks and tag games!#looking forward to getting to know you all#writeblr intro#writeblr#writing#creative writing#writing community

Tumblr Content Mastery: What Resonates with Users and Why It Works
Creating content that resonates on Tumblr involves tapping into the platform's unique culture and understanding what its users gravitate toward. Here’s a breakdown of content types that tend to perform well:
1. Visual Content
GIFs: Tumblr is known for its love of GIFs. Animated GIFs, particularly those that are humorous, relatable, or fandom-related, are highly shareable.
Art and Illustrations: Original art, fan art, and creative illustrations gain traction. Artists often find Tumblr a supportive place for sharing their work.
Photography: Aesthetic photos, especially those with a distinct style or theme (e.g., nature, fashion, architecture), are popular. High-quality images are more likely to be reblogged.
2. Fandom-Related Content
Fan Fiction: Writing stories related to popular movies, TV shows, books, or video games. This content is often reblogged by members of the fandom.
Memes and Fandom Jokes: Content that captures the inside jokes of a particular fandom can spread rapidly within those communities.
Fan Theories and Discussions: Posts analyzing plot points, characters, or future events in popular media.
3. Text-Based Posts
Quotes and Poetry: Short, impactful quotes, poetry, and micro-stories are widely shared. Posts with a strong emotional appeal tend to resonate well.
Personal Stories and Anecdotes: Posts that share personal experiences or thoughts, often with a touch of humor or vulnerability, can attract attention.
Tips and Advice: How-tos, tutorials, and life hacks are useful content that gets shared, especially if they’re presented in an easy-to-read format.
4. Niche and Subcultural Content
Subcultures: Tumblr users often rally around niche subcultures (e.g., goth, cottagecore, vaporwave). Content that caters to these subcultures can gain a dedicated following.
Aesthetic Blogs: Blogs that focus on specific aesthetics (e.g., dark academia, minimalism) are popular. They often curate content that fits a specific visual theme.
5. Social Justice and Activism
Awareness Posts: Tumblr has a strong activist community. Content related to social justice, environmentalism, and awareness campaigns tends to perform well.
Educational Content: Posts that inform or educate about various issues, especially when combined with impactful visuals.
6. Rebloggable Content
Relatable Humor: Funny and relatable posts, often involving text posts with tags, can go viral. Tumblr users appreciate humor that taps into shared experiences.
Interactive Content: Polls, questions, and posts that encourage participation (e.g., “Reblog with your favorite…).
7. Music and Audio Content
Playlists and Music Recommendations: Curated playlists, music recommendations, and audio posts featuring new or obscure artists can attract music enthusiasts.
Audio Clips and Podcasts: Short audio clips, especially those tied to popular culture or fandoms, can resonate with the community.
8. Tumblr-Specific Trends
Tumblr Challenges: Participation in Tumblr-specific challenges or trends (e.g., reblog challenges) can boost visibility.
Seasonal and Event-Based Content: Posts tailored to specific events or seasons (e.g., Halloween, Pride Month) often see a spike in engagement.
Tips for Success:
Engage with the Community: Reblogging, commenting, and participating in Tumblr conversations can help increase your reach.
Tagging: Use relevant tags to ensure your content is discoverable. Tags should be specific to your post's theme or subject matter.
Consistency: Regularly posting and maintaining a consistent theme or aesthetic can help build a dedicated following.
Tumblr's user base is diverse, so experimenting with different content types and paying attention to what resonates with your audience is key.

Is there even a point to calling out rapid consumerism at this point in time? People just don't care, they're obsessed with micro trends but do not listen to those who try to explain the issue to them. They follow influencers who have these huge collections of pr packages in the background, they watch people "restock" their already full fridges and pantries, they buy 10 different reusable water bottles just because they're different colours which completely destroys the idea of a reusable bottle.
"Just let people enjoy things" How are you enjoying 9 different make up pallets and 35 lipsticks at the same time? How are you enjoying a different aesthetic each week if you obsessively follow trends?
It's sad and while we should always try to educate it feels so pointless when you see people turn even the things that are supposed to help (eg. Reusable water bottles, metalic straws and metalic food containers) into aesthetic trends that last a week and then get thrown out.
Late stage capitalism is a disease and seeing people so actively supporting it makes me really sick.

Top Organic Social Media Marketing Strategies to Boost Your Audience Without Paid Ads
In today’s competitive digital landscape, growing a social media audience without paid ads is a key goal for many businesses. Organic growth fosters authentic connections, boosts long-term engagement, and builds trust. Below are some essential social media marketing tips to grow your audience organically:
1. Create Share-Worthy Content
To attract attention and encourage sharing, your content must stand out. Highly visual and emotionally engaging content is more likely to be shared, expanding your organic reach.
How to create share-worthy content:
Use eye-catching visuals like infographics, videos, and memes.
Evoke emotions — funny, inspiring, or thought-provoking content performs better.
Offer value by educating or entertaining your audience.
2. Leverage User-Generated Content (UGC)
User-generated content is a powerful way to expand your audience authentically. Encouraging customers to share their experiences builds trust and extends your reach.
How to leverage UGC:
Run contests or giveaways encouraging followers to tag your brand.
Share or repost customer reviews, photos, or testimonials.
3. Optimize Your Profile for Conversions
Your social media marketing strategy should start with optimizing your profile. A well-crafted profile can convert casual visitors into followers.
Profile optimization tips:
Write a clear, keyword-optimized bio.
Include a call-to-action (CTA) and website link.

Steps to maintain consistency:
Use a content calendar to schedule posts.
Experiment with posting times to discover when your audience is most active.
Mix up content types with images, videos, and stories.
5. Engage Directly with Your Audience
Engagement is a cornerstone of effective social media marketing. Directly interacting with followers strengthens relationships and encourages further interaction, boosting visibility.
Ways to increase engagement:
Respond to comments, mentions, and DMs quickly.

6. Use Hashtags Wisely
Hashtags help improve the discoverability of your content. However, the key is using them strategically rather than overloading your posts.
Best practices for hashtags:
Use tools to find relevant, trending hashtags.
Create a branded hashtag for followers to use.
Combine broad and niche hashtags to reach different audience segments.
7. Collaborate with Micro-Influencers
Micro-influencers, with their smaller but highly engaged audiences, are an excellent way to grow organically. Collaborations with them help you tap into their dedicated followers.
How to collaborate with micro-influencers:
Partner for giveaways or joint promotions.
Invite them for a social media takeover.
Co-create content that appeals to both audiences.
8. Cross-Promote on Different Platforms
Don’t limit yourself to one platform. Cross-promotion helps you expand your audience by sharing content across multiple social channels.
Cross-promotion strategies:
Share content on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn with tailored messages.
Promote your social channels in blog posts, emails, and YouTube videos.
9. Foster a Community Around Your Brand
Building a community is vital for audience retention. By creating a sense of belonging, you inspire loyalty and encourage followers to spread the word about your brand.
Tips for building a community:
Create private groups on Facebook or LinkedIn.
Host live events, webinars, or virtual meetups.
Be authentic and responsive to your followers.
10. Measure and Adjust Your Strategy
Tracking your performance is essential to improving your social media marketing tips. Use analytics to monitor key metrics and adjust your strategy based on data.
Metrics to track:
Engagement rate (likes, comments, shares).
Follower growth over time.
Content performance to see which formats work best.
By using these social media marketing tips, you can grow your audience without relying on paid ads, while building a strong, loyal community around your brand. @webpinosoftwares

National No Makeup Day
National No Makeup Day is observed every year on April 26 by women all over the world. Women are encouraged to go bare-faced for one day to appreciate their natural beauty. The event appears to have begun in 2017, when the hashtag “No Makeup” became popular on social media, though its true origins are unknown.
Celebrities such as Cindy Crawford, Lady Gaga, and Alicia Keys have all endorsed the no-makeup trend, with the latter stating that she “doesn’t want to hide anymore” and has been makeup-free since 2016. Makeup means different things for different people. Some people use it to hide their fears, express themselves, or simply feel more put-together and confident in public.
HISTORY OF NATIONAL NO MAKEUP DAY
Not wearing makeup means different things to different people. Makeup may help us conceal our flaws, express our personalities, or just make us feel more put-together and confident while we’re out and about. These are all excellent reasons to wear makeup, and we applaud them! On National No Makeup Day, all women are encouraged to go bare-faced for 24 hours in order to express and liberate their natural beauty. For many of us, going makeup-free might be intimidating, so we’ve compiled a list of tips and methods to help you feel more at ease in your own skin.
This one-of-a-kind day was discovered on April 25, 2015, and it became a social media sensation in 2017. Over 13 million Instagram posts have used the hashtag #NoMakeup, with many of them coming from influencers and celebrities with thousands of impressionable followers. However, when they use these bare-faced photos as a comparison tool, the flaws in this trend become clear. Despite not wearing makeup, many of these influential figures have micro-bladed eyebrows, eyelash extensions, and fillers in their cheeks, lips, jaw, and other areas.
This creates a social divide because people who can look this amazing without makeup have the time and money to devote to expensive skincare routines and invisible beauty treatments, which are not available to everyone. We could argue that the “no-makeup makeup” trend is equally damaging to our self-esteem as concealing our flaws with cosmetics: neither allows us to enjoy our skin. One of the central ideas behind the No Makeup Day movement is that it demonstrates ‘real’ beauty, though for some people, this is easier to achieve with makeup than without. Embrace the version of yourself that makes you feel the most free, whether or not you’re wearing makeup.

Express our natural beauty: Your cheeks have a natural blush-like color, but your skin is as smooth as glass... Isn't this what we're all after? It is preferable to have naturally healthy-looking skin rather than skin that requires constant makeup to conceal flaws.

Good morning tag!!! Happy premiere day! If y'all forgot, my name is Athena, I'm now presently 21 years old, my first ever season was bb12 and first season in bbTumblr was bb21 (and first season not being a casual wow), and I'm probably the tag's token loud and open moderately autistic bisexual Georgian.
With that being said, if I go from typing like I'm using an AI to to using the longest and most unhinged string of words to insult something or communicate surprise or shock or other strong feelings, that's the explanation. (In not using AI btw, that's my tism but I've been being accused of it on other platforms lately). I just wanted to have this disclaimer out the way now because I've just noticed an increase in both my "southern speak" making it's way into text and more and more interrogations about the way I type being suspicious linking back to awkward autistic habits I guess?
Also, I typically use owls as my reaction pics/images/gifs so that's still a go this year and I have added a few more to my arsenal as well! Please please please don't hesitate to flood my ask box and include me in on any little micro trends this year especially if I stay active like I plan to and if you want to be friends or mutuals please do because my heart never has too little room for bb besties! Now does anyone know if we're doing a selfiegate this premiere? I won't be stuck at a lake this time at least!
