In honor of his (not so dead friend) Edgeworth, he will raise his daughter correspondingly as a real dad

He keeps getting reminded of that sacred letter Edgeworth left and he might leave some tears out there

Of course, he refuses to bring any mention of Edgeworth anywhere he goes

Remember Franziska? When Phoenix meets with her during some investigation (turnabout big top) she asks about her wellbeing 

Maya Fey will keep pestering Edgeworth’s daughter with questions about where is her dad, what happened to him, etc. Guys how do we tell her?

Yes, Phoenix brings both of his daughters to investigations and maybe (if it is even allowed) during his trials with Franziska

He will be his usual self around Edgeworth’s daughter, not cold or anything of that sort because it is Edgeworth we are talking about

Phoenix will try his best to cheer her up even if lets be serious, they’re both sad because of one single letter

This whole ordeal has left Phoenix in depression as in he’s emo because he has another adoptive child to take care of 

By the way, he wasn’t forced to take of her, he took her on his own accord and also because he really has no one he could trust in with taking care of her specifically

He might be dead ass broke because defense lawyers don’t make a lot of money, but he still manages to bring both of them to Maya’s favourite burger spot

If Edgeworth’s daughter somehow got into danger Phoenix will be there to protect her with his life (and because he didn’t die he would hold her like she would fade if he stops)

And now when Edgeworth finally meets up with Phoenix he and his daughter get reunited after 1 year in the most somehow depressing yet not depressing way

So the anime was my introduction to Ace Attorney. I loved it. One case I really liked was Turnabout Big Top. And I saw it got alot of hate and I didn't understand.

Then I played JFA. And, MAN it sucks! Creepy love triangle, unsympathetic defendant, being punished for pressing, etc.

The anime has its faults but it's version of Big Top is a HUGE improvement! It's why on my non final case poll I separated the anime and game versions of the case. Because there is a huge difference!

If you saw my almost kiss/confession fic for Ace Attorney, here's the follow-up actual confession/first kiss fic!

This fic is around 2000 words, and is technically set Post-Farewell, My Turnabout, which is in the second Ace Attorney Game, Justice for all. I say technically because I am currently in the middle of playing Farewell, My Turnabout, but I didn't want canon to ruin my fic idea. There's not a whole ton of spoilers, but there are slight references to in-game events. Anyway! Without further ado, the summary:

Phoenix is spending Christmas Eve alone when he gets a call from a concerned Gumshoe about Miles Edgeworth. It seems he's headed off to revisit Gourd Lake, and Gumshoe asks Phoenix to go check on him so nothing bad happens to him. Despite the hurt he's felt since Miles disappearance last year, Phoenix agrees, and finds that the key to mending the hurt in his heart was to spend Christmas Eve with Miles Edgeworth. This fic makes a small reference to my previous fic, And After All That... if you want to check that one out first!

Thanks for tolerating me being soooo normal about these gay little lawyers! More definitely normal content to come, as my fic list is ever growing.
