i don’t know if it’s just me but locking q!Bad up on zero evidence for stealing furniture when others have placed literal explosives that have on multiple occasions nearly killed an egg seems a little Silly to me. just kinda makes me go Huh.

“He’s being punished for the furniture he stole in the past.” I hear people on twitter cry.

1. No he’s not lmfao. they imprisoned him after all the furniture on the island went missing. it’s pretty clear that’s what their main problem is. I’m aware Forever’s situation is unique because he feels like he has to be fair in how he deals out punishment. He probably thinks in order to punish the current mystery thief, he must also punish Bad - it’s not true, there’s a clear difference in severity between what Bad does and what the mystery thief did which would logically warrant different treatment - but he’s trying to be fair.

They think Bad stole everyone’s furniture - they may be annoyed over previous thievery but that annoyance is definitely NOT why Bad got arrested today.

2. Stealing furniture was not a crime back then. It’s not even a crime right now, since Forever took back the law that resulted from the first test vote. q!Bad has not broken a single law, and just to point it out - he has also never left mines in places where eggs could walk into them. He never leaves mines anywhere for very long.

He got jailed… for not breaking the law. He got jailed because people are upset that he’s stolen furniture, but most of all he got jailed because they think he stole the entire island’s furniture. Which they have no proof of.

And as far as we the audience know - he didn’t. He is confused about the furniture thievery even when he’s alone or only with his children - where he’d have absolutely no reason to lie or continue an act. He doesn’t know who’s furniture has been stolen and who’s hasn’t - he has to physically go check himself. He sounds exhausted, sad, and at some points scared when he considers the crime and the fact that he has little to no way of proving his own innocence. He sounds defeated when he tells Pomme that they will almost certainly jail him again if the law is passed. Pomme says she doesn’t want him to be jailed - it’s clear she’s scared for him. I don’t think he could lie to his own daughter while she’s upset like that.

I know Richarlyson says he did it, but Richarlyson has lied before - he even denied what he said in front of Bad. Frankly if I’m choosing in between believing Richarlyson lied to cause drama and believing Bad is lying to his own children and making them scared for him… well I think Richarlyson is lying is what I’m saying.

To be clear, if he did do it then it’s definitely the start of some sort of villain arc and I’m still excited. But currently it makes no sense for it to be him, unless his character has undergone a dramatic shift in mindset which is possible - but that still doesn’t explain the fact that he acts innocent even when completely alone.

Whats the point of walkable cities if they’re not accessable?

Like yes, the sidewalks are wide enough for both people to walk and use wheelchairs, but do most if not all the buildings have stairs or large lips at their entryways? If they do have a ramp is it up to code? Me and my partner have noticed how inaccessible a lot of places are in walkable cities since i’ve started regularly using a wheelchair. We’ve had to skip really interesting looking stores before because the entryway had stairs and there was no other way to get in. Technically, yes, i could stand up and get my folding cane out of my bag to go up the stairs and get into the store, but there is usually a reason as to why I’m using my chair. Also, not everyone can get up out of their chair to go up the stairs, with or without help.

Disabled people should be able to enjoy walkable cities just as much as able-bodied people. Whether it’s someone using a walker, crutches, a cane, or a chair. We deserve to be able to go into cute little small businesses, and enjoy getting to go out and enjoy the city.
