one of my top ao3 tagging pet peeves is when people use the tag "canon autistic character" for characters who ARE NOT CANONICALLY AUTISTIC. like yes they have all the traits but people in canon never call them autistic and usually just say they're weird/annoying/offputting/cold. that is not a canon autistic character!!! i know we barely have any atm but please save the tag for people whose autism is genuinely confirmed in canon (including off-screen, as long as the showrunner/actor/whoever is clear about the diagnosis and not just theorizing/vibing)
