This marks India's seventh victory in bilateral one-day series against Australia. The last time they had defeated the Kangaroos was in a three-match series at their home ground in 2020, winning 2-1. In addition to the series win, India has avenged their one-day series loss to Australia earlier this year. In March, Australia had beaten India 2-1 in a three-match one-day series. Ravindra Jadeja managed 13 runs, while he and Yadav shared a 44-run partnership in just 24 balls. India scored 54 runs in the last five overs of their innings. Cameron Green took two wickets for Australia, while Josh Hazlewood, Sean Abbott, and Adam Zampa each claimed one wicket. Ashwin and Jadeja Dominate with the Ball For Australia, Sean Abbott scored 54 runs, and David Warner made 53 runs. Marnus Labuschagne contributed 27 runs, and Josh Hazlewood scored 23 runs. Cameron Green added 19 runs, and Alex Carey made 14 runs. Matthew Short scored nine runs, Josh Inglis made six runs, and Adam Zampa scored five runs before getting out.
