If there are too many more delays and rescheduled games this season cannot possibly end on time there just won’t be enough days on the calendar. The stars have 2 days off now and that’s the last time they have 2 days off in a row the rest of the season, the pens upcoming schedule is insane, in all but the North div there are multiple teams that have played less than 20 games... the playoffs are going to be nothing but call ups held together with chewing gum and scotch tape

My understanding is that there’s something like a 1-2 week buffer zone that they’re willing to push the end of the regular season back into if they have to, but yeah. It’s gonna be hectic. I wouldn’t be surprised if after this season the Player’s Association says “okay, just to be clear, we are NEVER doing that again!” bc its gonna be so punishing.

If shit keeps up this way I think every team is gonna end up going into the playoffs looking like that classic ATFulemin tweet:
