you gotta replay undertale. alternatively, you gotta watch a playthrough from time to time if you're in the fandom, and it's GOTTA be a livestream. the sense of scale just gets lost in recollection otherwise.
"sans is a hard boss" yeah no shit he is, he's sans. one thing is saying it. one thing is hearing a twitch streamer go "after beating undyne, i feel like i can deal with anything in this game", 5 hours into his run, 30 kills left in the CORE, and then you go check the time and there's 8 hours of gameplay left
