I was working on the armor and concept drawing for @dfwbwfbbwfbwf and decided to give maedhros armor some special page :)

I based the armor on existing amor! (Henry VIII gold plated armor)

I know very fancy but maedhros was a king and is a prince so he must have some very fancy looking armor.

I added some stuff that is not totally realistic like the crown and the cloak part. But he looks great with that!

The gambersons is rather accurate and the stripes are not wonky but are stitched that way to help natural movement a technique often used in hand stitched clothing back in the day!

I did not drew a extra pic for the chainmail Hauberk but you can see a example from that in my Feanor Armor Concept

I also added on his handless arm a gauntlet that has notches for the kite shield. So that it can be easily attached and removed.

Things I would have preferred different is the chainmail Hauberk.(I didn't even drew a really long one) With full plate it is not necessary and can hinder movement but that's what dfwbwfbbwfbwf wrote in their promt

A normal chainmail shirt would have be enough ;)

"Lightkeeper" Simon - Paladin Oath of the Open Sea

-A Fraud- With Sea levels rising and natural light ever dwindeling, Lightkeepers are a very needed faction that safeguard the few lighthouses sprinkled across the world - housing an odd silvery white flame that gives off a comforting sensation - these people protect that light from the dark and that what crawls out of it. This flame is said to burn those unworthy of safekeeping it - Simon knew from the very first day of being made to hold that fire that what those fanatics say about the properties of this flame, is absolute bull. Their teachings say that once a human soul has indulged in "sin" it is forever tainted by it - salvation kept only for those who "choose" to resist vices such as murder, cowardice, addiction, adultery...

Yet he held that flame in hands tainted with more than just blood, and shortly thereafter was made an official member. He had entered training out of spite he says... and did not plan out what he is to do if he actually passed - after all, he is a fraud, a fake, he could be found out and executed any day, so for now, better indulge in "vices" as much as possible while he still can! And that is where how we find him session start. --- Some above table-talk- It's been an exciting challenge to figure out how to mix the vibe of plate-armor into a highly industrial / eldritch-sea apocalypse setting, and this was my first draft for his fit! Might be getting my hands on some new armor soon, so get to try a different approach soon
