i’m so tired of authors not tagging correctly because they don’t want to “spoil the fic”

correctly tagging your fic allows readers who DON’T want to read things like major character death, gore, mpreg or whatever may be their squick to filter your fic out from the main ship/fandom tag. not including the correct tags on your fic is harmful to readers and i’m tired of pretending it’s not.

“don’t like don’t read” great! i won’t! tag your fic correctly next time ffs

I’ve been trying to make “No AI Used” a more popular tag for this reason. Sometimes work where AI has been used hasn’t been tagged to inform readers, and they sometimes get a nasty surprise when they find the prompt still in the text. A tag that confirms no AI was involved could actually be helpful for readers.

NOTICE: As more and more fanfic writers are using generative AI for their works (you uncreative dweebs), I hereby swear on everything I hold dear that I have not and will NEVER use generative AI in ANY of my written work. Everything I post will be organically and creatively my own.

I feel like whenever Naruto became Hokage, and Sasuke gave up on the international terrorist bit, everybody in Konoha was probably pretty relieved.

But like, I can't imagine Sasuke being willing to integrate back into the village that supported the death of his clan. I think it would be more realistic to say

Naruto was a ninja of the leaf, and Sasuke was a ninja of Naruto.

As long as Naruto sides with the village, Sasuke will side with the village, but the minute Naruto changes his mind, Sasuke will drop Konoha like a carton of month old spoiled milk.

Sasuke sacrificed his own beliefs to stand beside Naruto, and that seems like the greatest devotion available to mankind.

UPDATE FOR ALL MY AO3 STALKERS/ FOLLOWERS WHO FOLLOW ME FOR MY AO3 SHTICK!!!

So, uh, apparently 99% of my fics have my scraped for generative A.I. use as well as possibly being sold as physical copies, all of which without my consent, of course! :)

That included my entire Joker Jr. AU series that I had published. The one that took me months and hours. Used. For. A.I.

So, as much as I really, REALLY don't wanna, I am locking all my fics down to where nobody outside Ao3 accounts have access to them. Guest accounts are no longer gonna be able to comment nor read my works, which I know I'm REAL bummed about considering how many guest users I get, but I just can't risk my writing being used to fuel A.I. or illegally sold irl. I am so, so sorry to those so don't have accounts and rely on the ability to be a guest, but I care to much for my privacy and writing and hatred for A.I. to go off and leave my fics up for scraping. I probably should've done this after that TikTok nabbed a sizeable chunk of one if my fics, but to late to regret what I'm doing now.
