i love love love sexual fics and AUs and really just content in general where there are animal hybrid humans with tails and ears and wings and stuff but sometimes it takes me out of the story because instead of being horny i'm thinking about the world building of a world with hybrids. would they be discriminated against? would they have slurs for hybrids??? would hybrids have similar personalities to the animals that they are half of? what about shows and movies and performances? would there be discrepancy about hybrid actors having to play non-hybrid roles or fully human actors having to play hybrid roles? would specialized clothes for hybrids be readily available at most stores or would you have to go to specific places or shop online, or even customize your own clothing? would jobs with specific work uniforms have to have uniforms made for hybrids as well or would they be allowed to just tell them to figure it out? would a hybrid with a fuzzy tail working in a restaurant or any sort of place where they make food have to cover their tail? and how would they do that? for hybrids with wings (presuming that hybrids with wings would even anatomically be able to fly) be allowed to fly wherever? would there be places where flying is not allowed at all, even if it was an outdoor place? what about the genitalia? people talk about puppy hybrids with knots bc that's hot but what about like a bird hybrid with a cloaca? would there be specially trained doctors for hybrids that learned both veterinary and normal human medicine? would that even be necessary? would hybrids be more susceptible to specific diseases or conditions that their animal counterparts are susceptible to? would hybrids of animals with fur like dogs and cats have thicker body hair or even just their normal hair, is that more akin in texture to fur? if there are hybrids of land animals, are there hybrids of water animals too? where do those go? would water animal hybrids have both lungs and gills? or just lungs? or just gills? would a fish human hybrid just be a deadass mermaid?
