Hello! Love your head cannons and fics of Levi, reading them feels like home to me. If you are still writing hc’s, I was wondering how Levi would feel about being with a s/o who is feeling insecure. Like, maybe it’s about their appearance or personality, as they have probably experienced snide remarks/verbal bullying growing up and haven’t recovered/became a daily habit to criticize their every action/looks. Or maybe even the s/o hides it well but it pops up as anxiety, people pleasing, and self deprecating humor (Totally not about me hating myself lol.). I know that Levi is not the type to comfort others in a traditional sense of words of affirmation but I have always wondered how he silently/passively or actively raises his s/o’s confidence, or if he actually doesn’t find that attractive and views it as too much baggage. Maybe his acts of service can give a boost somehow?

I think Levi understands that we all have doubts about ourselves—he probably has a bunch of his own but is just good at hiding them. However, I feel like Levi draws a line between "I get that we can all be hard on ourselves sometimes" and "Hey, don't be so tough on yourself; it's not helping."

Of course, all the reassurance would be wrapped in "Levi's style," haha. Like, if she's cursing herself for messing something up, Levi would ruffle her hair and say, "Oi, the only one allowed to call you stupid is me, idiot," while lovingly messing up her hair.

If she's hating on her body or worrying about how her outfit looks, Levi would probably hug her from behind, squeeze her, and tickle her until she stops, then say, "Who the hell cares? Such praise was but a fever dream for you until three short months ago. It's understandable for business to take a while to pick off when you're starting from the ground up, but almost a year in and no sign of major progress would damper just about anyone's spirits. All your troubles and woes changed that fate-filled day - when the kind baker from across the street offered you their special ingredients.

"Sucrose? You busy?"

A breathy, shaken trial at laughter comes from one of the counters; legs twitching at the note of concern in your voice. Busy - what a silly question to ask. Jimmy DPS Build Guide (AKA my "hear me out" manifesto)

Hello Everyone! In this post I will share with you the detailed build guide of the 4-star Pyro Polearm User Jimmy. Before you type your angry comment, just hear me out.

I used to play Jimmy back when I was F2P in 2.0, before the Seven Days Replay set was released, and I decided to see if he's a good option now that we have the set.

✦✦✦ Kit and Playstyle ✦✦✦

Jimmy is a 4-star HP scaling Pyro Polearm user who is very F2P friendly, considering every account has him, and they run him in the store every other month. His kit is based around losing health, so it is necessary to have a healer on the team. He works well on teams based around elemental reactions!!!

◇ Normal Attack: Laying Down the Law

No extra mechanics here. Deals up to 5 consecutive strikes using normal attack. Holding down attack lets him do a charged attack.

◇ Elemental Skills (E) : Changing Tactics

Pressing E makes Jimmy rush forward to attack one enemy dealing Pyro DMG. Holding E charges up his attack, and does more of an arc of Pyro DMG that can hit multiple enemies in a cone in front of him and knock over smaller enemies. Changing Tactics has one charge, and a CD of 5s for press, and 7.5s for held.

◇ Elemental Burst (Q) : Revengeance

The majority of damage you want to do with Jimmy comes from his burst. Revengeance unleashes a powerful AoE Pyro attack with a decent range, and boosts characters ATK based on Jimmy's HP.

Jimmy has an energy cost of 40 and his cooldown is 12s.

◇ Passives

Tactical Retreat (1st ascension) - Using Burst boosts the ATK of the next character to switch on field within 2s. (This is typically why he's considered a support or sub-DPS, but shhh.)

Heating Up (4th ascension) - Revengance does more damage based on the amount of damage taken by Jimmy in the last 30s. (A surprise tool that will help us later!!)

Forgaging Familiarity - Displays the location of nearby resources unique to Ention on the mini-map.

Like all Pyro characters, Jimmy will need Agnidus Agate for ascension. Luckily, his boss drops it! Players will need to collect the following amount to get his final ascension:

◇ Drops from Undead Brutes

Undead are found all throughout the world, most commonly in early regions like Ention or Riveia. Undead Brutes typical spawn in Camps, and can be fought on Ention Leylines. To get Jimmy to final ascension, you will need:

Wishbone x18 (x18)

Bone Club x30 (x66)

Reinforced Femur x36 (x93)

(Parentheses are for all talents to level 10.)

◇ Unburning Branch

Unburning Branch can be claimed by defeating the Young Dragonspawn in Ention. Like other bosses, it costs 40 resin to collect materials. You will need x46.

◇ Red Capped Mushroom

Red Capped Mushroom is the local specialty in Ention that Jimmy needs. You will need x168. They can be grown in the teapot.

◇ Confidence Talent Books

Confidence Talent Books can be gotten from Riftmouth Cave (Ention) on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

◇ Heart of the Machine from the Surveillance Prophet weekly boss

Complete the Ention Archon quest to unlock this boss. This boss cannot be done in co-op.

✦✦✦ Artifacts & Stats ✦✦✦

Jimmy's best artifact set for a DPS build is Seven Days Replay.

2-piece set HP+20%. 4-piece set gains stacks of Knowledge when a character takes damage. Knowledge applies the following effects depending on the amount of stacks: 1-3 stacks, increase DMG by 10%. 4-6 stacks, increase crit rate by 8%. 7 stacks, increase incoming healing by 10% for the next 2s, and reset the amount of stacks.

Sands: HP%/ER

Goblet: Pyro DMG

Circlet: CRIT rate/DMG

Substats: ER, HP%, CRIT rate/DMG, (EM if needed)

ATK is a dead stat for Jimmy

ER: ~120-130%

This is basically the only set that is good for Jimmy as a DPS. Alternate options are any set that give an HP or HP% bonus if you don't have a full 4-piece set for him yet.

✦✦✦ Weapons ✦✦✦

Jimmy's best in slot is typically considered the 5* standard Benevolence, and this is a decent option. For the purposes of DPS, though, getting your hands on Harvest Moon is really good. (Pearl rerun when... [Pearl_Sip])

Good 4* options include Killer Instinct (BP weapon) and Sidepiercer (Standard). His best 3* option is Asclepius, but if you didn't grab that then go with Nighttime Arrow. If you must.

Ention Bros - Reverse Melt team with Jimmy as DPS, BigB for cryo application and sub-DPS, Pyro False for off-field Pyro application, and Netty for heals. Netty is a really good healer for Jimmy DPS teams, and these are all F2P friendly options. Make sure to pile on some EM if you're using this team.

Suicide Bombs - Overload team with Jimmy DPS, Tango for off-field electro application, Xisuma for electro application/electro resonance & heals, and the last slot I keep for a flex support. Pyro False is a good option for the resonance, but Cryo False is good if you have her C2 for the automatic shield, just so Jimmy doesn't explode and die constantly.

You almost never want a shield character with Jimmy (Cryo False is the exception), since it prevents Jimmy from taking DMG, and effectively nerfs his burst.

C1: Gives guaranteed elemental particle when hit.

C2: Using E skill reduces Burst CD.

C3: Talent level increase.

C4: At 30% health, healing bonus for party.

C5: Talent level increase.

C6: ATK boost for Burst when Jimmy is at 30%.

All his cons are good, but none of them are necessary to play Jimmy as a DPS, unlike some other characters. C1 is really good for Burst uptime, so at least aim for that.

Hello yes I do in fact have RBB headcanons for you :3

I'm going to have to put this under a read more as it's a lot (and it's mainly ramblings about powerset headcanons bc I have THOUGHTS on that) so strap in.

Hosts in general:

The hosts, who were originally human, basically got ‘blessed’ / ‘cursed’ (depending on how you see it) by their respective concepts and now both represent / are possessed by / basically are those concepts. They each have differing opinions on what happened but one thing’s for sure - they’re now wielders of Agility, Healing and Truth respectively

Each of the hosts have 3 different types of powers, with a different spread for each, and these powers often correspond to the powers of their weapons:

Powers that act on themselves

Powers that act on others

Area of effect powers

Some of these powers are passive (unconscious, happens all of / most of the time) but most are active (requires conscious activation)

They can use their powers without their respective objects, but it is a lot more effective if they do use em

They get funky particle effects when they use their power (as well as their hair and eyes glowing, especially with overusage - they've still got human bodies, so they do have their limits!)

If the sword gets cracked they get physical ‘cracks’ on their skin (same with the instruments, probably?)

Though really the instruments only got powered up as a response to their gaining powers, as opposed to the swords giving them the powers

They can fuse their swords giving one of them combo abilities/moves while the other temporarily loses their abilities

I haven’t really thought of these combo moves yet, but I think DJ and Russo would give some level of super-intelligence, DJ and Sabrina could do rapid healing and perhaps even evolution / power boosts?

They tend to avoid doing this as it’s very disorientating for the host that loses their powers and exhausting for the host that gains one and let the Battler wield/fuse the decoy swords (see my old headcanons for an explanation on that) instead. It only happens if one of the hosts is compromised and it’s an emergency.

Yes they did make the megasword yes it went poorly for all involved (they can wield concepts, but their bodies can barely wield one, let alone 3…)

They’ve got a ‘Power Trio’ dynamic, following the expected roles (with some subversions)

DJ acts as one extreme: he’s the Superego / the Blue Oni / the pessimistic one

Sabrina acts as the middle ground: she’s the Ego / the Purple Oni / the reasonable one

Russo acts as the other extreme: he’s the Id / the Red Oni. / the optimistic one

Atypically however, DJ despite being the Blue Oni is more suited for combat whereas Russo as the Red Oni is more suited for intelligence

This sliding scale of intensity comes up a lot for them, with Sabrina almost always being in the middle with DJ and Russo being two extremes

S3 Specific:

This one differs depending on people so I’ll say it anyway: Russo and the clone in S3 (Recoded) are different people, Russo took the clone’s place at the end of the FB

Sneaky self promo, that was all explored in the GOSSIP animatic

Originally JP wanted to kidnap and replace Sabrina for Maximum Angst Power (bc DJ would’ve probably lost it if his wife went missing or started acting odd) but their clone of Sabrina (the Great Woman) failed and went berserk, so since Recoded worked they kidnapped Russo instead

They’re actually quite lucky they kidnapped Russo over Sabrina, because if Russo was in a similar situation to DJ and Sabrina during S3, he would’ve just walked right up to ‘Sabrina’ before ‘she’ could ‘go missing’ and proceed to use his powers on ‘her’

This actually happened in the Swap AU with DJ in Russo’s place

DJ Monopoli:

Passively has super-speed, super strength and super endurance (sword), actively can hover just a tiny bit off the ground (dynamic dashers)

He can also absorb / give energy out to others, either making them tired or giving them a boost in energy

He doesn’t have an area of effect power,,,but we’ll see if/what S4 gives him (I’ve seen people suggest portals so?? Maybe those??)

His powers tend to take the form of green electricity, which he can use to his advantage

This isn’t set in stone yet, but I’ve been toying with the idea of DJ having robotic legs, because constantly moving at superhuman speeds while still having human legs is kind of rough on said legs

(Don’t worry, he’s not the only member of the RBB cast who has replaced their legs.)

The easiest to get angry out of the hosts

Isn’t as good at getting his point across than the other two, so is willing to over explain things so people get what he means

The Fighter, and will usually be the one to attack any threats and do the physical combat, as well as acting as security if there are no current eminent threats.

This is how he ended up forced to dance by Albert when Albert broke into the studio during S2 - he was the first wall Albert had to break through, and Albert used most of his power on him

If he’s not with the other two doing Host Things, he’s probably in the music studio doing…music things

Also the most fashionable of the hosts, surprisingly enough. His wardrobe is filled with suits and he has little to no casual clothing.

Sabrina:

Passively heals herself over time and can actively heal others wounds (from the sword)

Can also actively reverse said healing by opening old wounds (or just straight up attacking them, but that’s booooring. this is from the cyber shredder), or can use her powers to act as a painkiller / soothing mechanism

She can make a ‘healing dome’ where everyone in the area heals just a little bit quicker / is soothed

Her powers tend to take the form of purple plus-shaped particles

The Mage, the healer and planner of the group, but she would much rather be out there fighting monsters and doing the tough stuff

She’s still a really good fighter because of the fact that you can’t easily make a dent on her, she’ll just heal herself up

She’ll drop everything to make sure someone is safe and uninjured, but she’ll be mad about it! And will endlessly lecture the injured party because “STOP TRYING TO ATTACK THE ROBOTS WITHOUT ANY WEAPONS”

Strangely enough, is the scariest out of the hosts. No one knows how she pulls this off, but she just does

(It’s probably because her powers relate to people’s general wellbeing…whether that’s good or bad.)

The most paranoid, and the quickest to panic over something going wrong. She does her best to stay positive in the face of change, but she shows her weaknesses now and then

If you look at her you’d think she listens to lofi and pop. Nope, heavy metal

Somehow still doesn’t know the Great Woman exists

Russo:

Passively has Truth Detection (different to lie detection - he can’t tell if you’re lying without actively using his powers on you, but he can always tell if you’re telling the truth), and can understand all languages

Battle Life SMP readers - that last one will be relevant soon!

Actively has Lie Detection, limited mind reading and mind control - said control is more effective over robots (hence, Robotic Resonators), but he can do it on people. It takes a lot out of him if he does though, even if he is using his Resonators

Area of effect power being able to reveal/see anything hidden in a room (sword)

His powers take the form of blue ‘dot’ particles as well as anyone under his power’s effect eyes turning blue

The Thief, the one who works in intelligence. He can’t stand for himself on a battle field, he’s extremely physically weak - but he’s very good with people, and even better at interrogating them / getting information he needs out of people

Simultaneously a mom friend and the stupid one

Theatre kid

Can accidentally be a little bit too positive, and is (ironically) prone to ignoring the darkness of a situation at times

If he does realise a situation is dire though, he will get serious fast.

You don’t want to see Russo when he’s angry.

A little self conscious, but he’s better at dealing with it than some people (cough cough Kreek cough cough)

Has referred to the RBB participants as his kids. No one will ever let him live it down (and it’s not like Russo wants them to, they are his kids thanks very much)

He’s quite self conscious about the whole ‘getting kidnapped during S3’ thing. He blames himself for it and is overly apologetic about it, despite none of it being his fault

👁️ EYE - what colour are their eyes? do people notice their eyes? is there anything special about them (shows emotion easily, literally magical…)?

Her eyes are bright green. That's not the first thing people notice, though.

It's immediately obvious that Emma never looks anyone in the eyes but they never know if she's looking through them or past them. That still doesn't mean she's not paying attention (or lying, or a coward); the fewer openings she leaves for lesser demon attack, the less she'll need to be protected by the brothers. hello stubborn Pride my old friend

This skill (further passively boosted by her pacts) helps massively later on as she trains to be a sorcerer, specializing in wards and glyphs and able to sense Illusion magic.

Sadly, Emma can be easily distracted by brightly colored and/or shiny things; she's gotten into arguments with Mammon over newly-minted lowest-denomination Grimm coins.

☕️ HOT BEVERAGE - do they prefer hot or cold drinks? what is their favourite drink?

Before coming to the Devildom, she mostly preferred sodas (and will not drink warm ones) but has since become unimaginably spoiled by Barbatos' tea preparation and Lucifer's vast collection; Levi swears he can feel her jealousy whenever someone offers her tea in the Human Realm. :(

Though there are drinks she can't stand, if asked she will say her favorite is whatever is served at dinner with friends and family. Is she copping out? Is she serious? Does she even know? She'll sometimes have multiple glasses of drinks at the same meal, depending on what's served, so it's possible.

It's a good thing Demonus is so ineffective in humans, because Emma is an absolute lightweight.

🌙 MOON - what is your oc’s greatest wish? how far are they willing to go for it?

Her greatest wish is to "prove herself", or rather to figure out what that even means.

If someone tells her she is literally incapable of doing something or simply not allowed, Emma will do it just to be spiteful. 'Don't go into the attic?' If she hadn't heard Belphie's voice, she would have climbed the stairs, taken one step into that hallway, and then went back down to bed. Suck it, 'Luci'. It's lucky reason #3 for why she gets along so well with Satan.

In the new timeline, her wish is to return to her original timeline because the brothers and sides are surely in absolute panic, but not if it means hurting these brothers too. Emma resumes her role as a sort of watchdog to help the Avatars (yes, all of them) adapt to their new powers and home.

How far will she go? Further than is sensible; Wrath and Pride make for a nasty combination as her ability to step back and evaluate the situation objectively essentially vanishes. In the original timeline, she valued her life quite poorly, and didn't resist Belphie beyond a refusal of the 'hug'. Wanting to kill humans because of his sister's death? Honestly that's a Big Mood right there, can't blame ya.

It's not that she wasn't scared of death, she remained convinced she'd already died and that such a termination of existence was deserving/worthy. Now very much in love with life, picking a fight with Diavolo or Lucifer remains on the table Barbatos scares the absolute shit out of her, nothanks Mr Royal Butler sir.

Design; 7/10 - while the design isn't anything super unique/special, I still like it :)

If you had to guess which entity spawned jellybeans for the players, I think this guys design very clearly conveys it! My guy is made of jellybeans. My only issue with his design is how eye-bleedy it can be. Bee swarm (especially in late game) already has so much going on onscreen and the bright rainbow jumpscare that bean bug doesn't really help the issue. I love colorful characters, I just would personally make it just a little less bright

Character/Purpose; 10/10 - I do actively play bss, I'm don't currently know if there's a way to spawn these guys? I don't know if they're just a random chance spawn or an onett spawn exclusive, or if there's a spawner further into the game.

Anyways, I like jellybeans! They're a good boost for your bees and pollen and I always get happy when this guy shows up! I get to go- "oh! Hello little friend! Extra jellybeans for me? Yay :D!"

It's a passive enemy and you can't attack it, so his only purpose is JELLYBEAN. I know it was also important for some quests in an event, but I'm unsure which event it was. But yeah, he came, he saw, he BEANED.

Overall; 9/10 - cool beans

Drafting out a full fic right now for Fireman!Schlatt and new recruit reader because I love the idea so much of Schlatt just being fully against anyone new who comes into the firehouse, like- just being so passive aggressive and snarky and cold and just mean to them because he's extremely critical about anyone who joins.

Because, like, duh, of course he would. He's worked this job and at this house since he graduated high school. He's seen so many people go in and out of this job, he can't even count it on both of his hands twice over. And he fuckin' knows how all of the new people who are joining are doing it to boost their own egos and feel important and have people swoon over them.

Because who wouldn't want that, right?

And he's seen this exact same pattern over and over and over and over again and he's so fucking sick of it that he's just a dick to anyone new who joins. Not enough for it to get him in trouble or be considered a problem, but enough that it gets his point across that he does not like you and is completely comfortable and open with that fact.

And then boom. New recruit reader joining being so fucking excited because they've been trying for years to get into the profession. Whether it be they weren't in the best physical shape, or they didn't pass their test, or they didn't have the right qualifications or what, even if it was none of that. Becoming a firefighter is hard because the competition is so high- especially if you're in New York.

And so, after so many hard years of trying and studying and working out and doing everything under the sun to get in and they finally- finally get that badge? God they are so fucking happy and so fucking ready to put all of their training and all of the things they've learned to use and they're so eager to learn more.

And then joining Ladder 131.

And fuck.

Enter Fireman!Schlatt who decided that he fucking hates his life and that he should have chosen a different career the second he hears the reader talking with the Fire Chief at 6:30 in the morning, introducing themself to him and listening as he talks about the station and their duties and how he'll have them get toured around by someone and-

Oh, hey, Schlatt! Come here for a second!

He hasn't even had a cup of coffee yet and he's already so willing to bash his skull repetitively into the fire pole until his head concaves around it. He would rather spend the rest of his life living in Manhattan than be at the house right now. He would rather cheer for the Mets than have to pretend to be all nice with the new recruit because he fucking knows he won't be able to last a few seconds before saying something that's just plain rude.

AND JUST- THE READER NOT BEING A PROBLEM AT ALL. Like genuinely? If Schlatt had met them outside of work? He probably would have clicked with them without any issue. Hell! They probably could become friends or more if he had met them outside of work!

But noooooo! They just had to be the new recruit, didn't they? They just had to come in with the most insufferable, annoying, irritating attitude (read: they literally just said 'hello!' and introduced themself professionally and were actually really kind and straightforward) and fuck up his entire life because now he has to tour them around the station and have them follow after him like a lost puppy.

(He knows it's wrong and a fucked way of thinking, but he considers pushing them down the fire pole without warning at least four times during that single interaction.)

And, okay, instead of the reader being all sunshine and rainbows and naive and whatnot, I present to you this idea: a reader who has just as much if not more attitude than Schlatt, who takes no shit from anyone. Like- they know Schlatt has a problem with them the second he introduces himself with the response of "Jay Schlatt. Pleasure." through gritted teeth and the coldest glare that he isn't even trying to hide.

Like- as he's touring them around, being all pissy and snarky and rude, them just going "You know, you could just, I don't know... act like an adult maybe and show me around and pretend to like me instead of being such a brat? Maybe? Light suggestion?" and keeping a neutral expression as they walk behind him casually, still taking in all of the information he's spilled and storing it in their mind.

Fireman!Schlatt, who swears on his fucking life he has never once in his life almost swung at a co-worker before, nor has the thought ever crossed his mind, but boy oh boy, did he almost just do it. And he's walking around silently fuming now, not even saying a word to the reader, like- he just passes a co-worker, gives them this look, points at you, and leaves.

Cause he will not be able to control himself if he's around you for another second, and this is now somebody else's job because he will, without a shadow of doubt, lose his if he stays with you.

Before I get into it, yes I did change the banner lol. I just wanted to switch things up for a bit, I hope u like it!!

Anyways, with Ayaka's rerun currently ongoing, I wanted to make a guide for anybody who just got her and is a bit confused on her teams. Let's get into it!!

╰┈➤ why does Ayaka need freeze? You might have noticed that almost every Ayaka team is a Freeze team. There are 2 main reasons for this. The first is that, to maximize the damage of her burst by allowing it to always hit an enemy, enemies must be kept stationary via Freeze. The second is that Ayaka applies Cryo waaaay to fast with her burst to allow her to reliably trigger Melt reactions

╰┈➤ basic team outline Ayaka freeze teams usually follow this outline: ❀ Ayaka ❀ Anemo character on 4pc Viridescent Venerer ❀ Cryo battery (creates Cryo particles to supply energy) ❀ Hydro character for Freeze

╰┈➤ Anemo options ❀ Kazuha ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ The best option and usually the go-to. Kazuha provides Elemental damage bonus along with great grouping and his own personal damage ❀ Venti ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Great grouping and personal damage ❀ Jean ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Can consolidate the healer role which is useful in some teams. Great healer choice w/ Furina ❀ Sucrose ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Some grouping, Elemental DMG buff at C6. Works well enough as a substitute. Can run Thrilling Tales of Dragon slayers to give Ayaka lots of attack

Provides buffs to Cryo damage along with Cryo resistance shred and elemental Burst damage ❀ Charlotte ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Consolidates a healer role but should really only be used in Furina teams ❀ Diona ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Can consolidate the healer role along with providing a shield ❀ Rosaria ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Good personal damage, buffs Crit Rate which can be useful to reach certain stat thresholds for Ayaka ❀ Ganyu ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Very strong personal damage from Burst. Decent Cryo damage buff and can share some field time. Works well in teams with Venti ❀ Kaeya ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Great budget option who provides tons of energy via Cryo particles. Good personal damage

╰┈➤ Hydro options ❀ Kokomi ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Usually the go-to option. Great AoE Hydro application that doesn't require normal attacking. Great healing. Can run Tenacity of the Millileth and Thrilling Tales of Dragon slayers to provide tons of Attack to Ayaka. ❀ Mona ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Hydro Application from skill has a much smaller AoE than Kokomi. Burst gives a large damage boost. Can run TTDS ❀ Furina ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Great Hydro application that doesn't require normal attacking. Incredible personal damage. Requires an all-party healer such as Charlotte or Jean. Furina teams can kinda be considered a different arychetype of Ayaka teams. ❀ Xingqiu ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Provides some defensive capability but requires normal attacking to apply Hydro which can make the team feel awkward ❀ Yelan ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Very strong personal damage but requires normal attacking. Passive can provide a damage boost to Ayaka ❀ Ayato ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Hydro application from burst has a very large AoE and good damage. Works very well with Venti. Can also share some field-time with his own DPS. ❀ Barbara ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Budget option. Good healing but her Hydro application is quite awkward. Can run TTDS.

╰┈➤ premium team Ayaka's best (non-Furina) freeze team is also referred to as her "premium" team because it uses all limited 5 stars. Here's a quick overview of their builds ❀ Ayaka ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ 4PC Blizzard Strayer. Mistsplitter's Reforged/Amenoma Kageuchi/Finale of the Deep ❀ Shenhe ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ 4PC Noblesse Oblige. Calamity Queller/Favonius Lance ❀ Kazuha ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ 4PC Viridescent Venerer. Freedom-sworn/Xiphos' Moonlight/Favonius Sword/Iron Sting ❀ Kokomi ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ 4PC Tenacity of the Millileth. Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers (TTDS)

╰┈➤ premium team vs. Furina The Furina variant of Ayaka teams (usually Kazuha/Furina/Charlotte) seems to preform similarly to the premium team (Shenhe/Kazuha/Kokomi)

╰┈➤ issues to look out for Ayaka's teams have 2 main issues 1 ・❥・ Many enemies in recent abyss cycles are immune to freeze 2 ・❥・ Without enough ER%, Her teams can feel kinda bad to play

Also I love how even if Bucky is in his senses for most of the chapter the guy absolutely has his soul fly out of his dick at the end, and his brain detonated. Steve literally isn't even doing anything bucky 🤨 /j besides being this best self and bucky is DOWN BAD. Like we see just Steve's internal monologue in this of how he would give anything to bucky, but Bucky's is absolutely the same if not more; he's pouring himself over to give Steve the best time of his life.

The daddy kink caught me off guard lmaoooo but bucky immediately taking the wheel >>>>>>>>. Again, Steve feminisation also top tier combo it NEVER MISSES. the main principle is to prioritise one or two characters at a time. if you go for more than one, then preferably ones that either share the same trace material or their relics are in the same domain to make farming a lot easier and less tedious !!

the next question is: which character(s) will be the one built, and what are their stat focuses? for example, are they a dps who requires atk%, or one that needs a different main stat like hp%? are they a sustain (healer & shielders)? are they a general or a niche (specific for certain characters/situations) support?

once you know these, then you can narrow down what you need.

light cone

this will be a very short section in comparison to relics, as the main thing you really need to make sure of is that the light cone path matches the character path (i.e. a hunt light cone for a hunt character will allow you to make the most use out of it compared to, say, a destruction character, as they won't be able to use the passive ability and only gain the flat atk, hp, and def stats).

the next thing is to make sure the passive ability works with your character. for five stars, their signature light cones are of course the best and easiest tell, but if you don't have them then you will have see the effects. for example, support characters will want light cones that either help boost the team (i.e. dance! dance! dance! gives action forward to all allies when the wearer uses their ultimate), sustains will want something that boosts their defensive/healing capabilities, damage dealers will want something that increases their overall output (can either but dmg%, atk% or a crit/crit dmg% boost), etc.

of course, some may have specific needs (like ruan mei who would want memories of the past as her light cone for both the extra break effect & energy, especially at high(er) superimpositions), but it will always be found in the same path and are easily identifiable. there will also be more coming out in the future, so better options are still yet to come!

relics

the relic pieces have set main stats;

cavern relics:

head piece is always flat hp

hand piece is always flat atk

body piece can be: atk%, hp%, def%, effect hit rate, break effect, outgoing healing bonus, crit rate, crit dmg

feet piece can be: atk%, hp%, def%, speed

planar ornaments:

planar sphere can be: atk%, hp%, def%, type dmg bonus

link rope can be: atk%, hp%, def%, break effect, energy regeneration rate

cavern relics are what can be farmed in overworld domains. they have four pieces which can give you the full set effect, or you can have two pieces for the two piece effect and mix it with another two piece set effect (i.e. this is usually put on supports/sustains, but can also be used on damage dealers if needed).

planar ornaments are farmed from within simulated universe after each elite boss + from the final boss. these ones only have a two piece effect, and cannot be mix-and-matched.

generally, each archetype/class/role will follow the same or similar principle;

the main/sub dps/damage dealer role will want:

body piece: crit rate or crit dmg

feet piece: atk%/hp%/def%/speed

planar sphere: type dmg bonus

link rope: atk%/hp%/def%

certain main stats will depend on what they scale off of. some dps (like dan heng il) will want atk% if they can afford to be slower or have a support that can bump them up, other dps (like jingliu) will want speed to be faster to get more out of their kit, and some will scale off other stats such as hp% (blade) or def% (afaik we dont have a def% scaling dps, but we will probably get one soon).

the best cavern relics will be ones where the set effect benefits them. this can include ones with type dmg bonus as a two piece to mix-and-match with another that has the stat they scale off of, a full four piece that helps their overall output, or one a bit more specific which tailors to how their kit works, such as increased follow-up damage (jing yuan, topaz, blade (inert salsotto ornament only), dr. ratio, and possibly clara with the inert salsotto ornament), increased dot (damage over time) damage (kafka, black swan, sampo, and guinaifen) and increased damage against debuffed enemies (acheron and dr. ratio).

the ideal planar ornaments would be ones that focus on increasing damage output, and it usually again depends on the character's kit for what they need, much like the cavern relics, and with factors such as whether they primarily use their skill and/or basic attacks (rutilant arena would be best in this case), if they use follow-up attacks or have a high ultimate damage (inert salsotto), or if you want an overall damage output from high speed (firmament frontline: glamoth, though so far only characters like seele can really make use of it due to her high base speed + her bonus from her kit, but you can also have supports which buff the speed to meet the threshold) to name a few.

the sustain role will want:

body piece: hp%/def%/outgoing healing bonus

feet piece: hp%/def%/speed

planar sphere: hp%/def%

link rope: energy regeneration rate

the role has two sub-categories; the healer (abundance) and the tanks (preservation).

healers would want (sub)stats that prioritise hp% with an outgoing healing bonus body piece + speed + hp% orb + either a hp% or energery regeneration rate rope. (luocha however is an exception, as he scales off atk, so replace the hp% stats with atk% where you can.)

the best cavern relic sets would either be passerby of wandering cloud for the outgoing healing bonus (the extra skill point is nice, but usually the two piece + either another with a speed or hp% two piece is better) two piece longevous disciple for the bonus hp%, messenger traversing hackerspace is good for the increased speed two piece and party action advance four piece if the ultimate can be used on an ally, but the full set is better for supports rather than healers.

planar ornaments that either boost the character's scaling stat or buff the party are ideal (broken keel and penacony, land of dreams can be good ones, primarily broken keel if you can reach the effect resistance threshold).

tanks/shielders would want (sub)stats that prioritise def% and follow the same general set-up as healers, substituting the hp% for def%, and for the body piece to also have def%. (fu xuan is another exception, as she scales off hp for her sustain as she mitigates damage to herself.)

the best cavern relics would either be knight of purity palace for the def% increase two piece and shield absorption increase four piece (the full set is mainly for characters who provide shields), guard of wuthering snow is mainly good for the damage reduction two piece, but even then you would mainly use this for fu xuan with two piece longevous. there aren't any options, but there will probably be more in the future.

and the ideal planar ornaments would be either belobog of the architects for the increase def% and effect hit rate, broken keel if you want to buff your party + have some effect resistance, and possibly penacony, land of dreams if you want to have multiple/mono-typing (i.e. mono quantum with fu xuan as the quantum sustain).

the support role will want:

body piece: hp%/def%/effect hit rate/break effect/crit damage

feet piece: hp%/def%/speed

planar sphere: hp%/def%/type damage bonus

link rope: energy regeneration rate

general supports will usually have a defensive stats such as hp% or def% for survivability + speed boots + a sustain sphere. their main job is to buff a character/the party, so the priority is to keep them alive without having them be one-shot by the enemy.

the best cavern relics will be messenger traversing hackerspace four piece if they can use their ult on an ally/all allies (which is more often than not a yes since their purpose is to buff). there isn't really much else other than this set, as you want to boost your team and you will get a lot of survivability stats from your rolls, so you don't need anything that offers more.

the best planar ornament sets will be either fleet of the ageless for the bonus hp% + teamwide atk% boost after getting 120 speed, broken keel (arguably the best set), and penacony, land of dreams (again, good for mono teams).

niche supports will follow a similar set-up to general supports, with the exception of the body piece. this could either be break effect (such as ruan mei, whose kit relies on it despite being a general support) or crit damage (such as sparkle or bronya who need a high crit dmg to boost others). their role is to work with a specific kit archetype or boost a certain mechanic. topaz can technically fall in this category (especially with her light cone), but she would want more dps-centred sets as listed previously.

the relic sets are basically the same as those of general supports. the only difference are characters like ruan mei, who will want the thief of shooting meteor cavern relic for the increased break effect (messenger traversing hackerspace can still be used but isn't recommended unless you roll a lot of break effect stats to reach 160%, which can be lessened if you use the light cone memories of the past or the planar ornament set talia: kingdom of banditry for the extra break effect at 145 speed.

the planar ornaments will also be the same, unless future sets come out and are more in-demand.

debuffers (nihility) can be a bit more on the offensive side with the stats, but will mainly depend on the effect hit rate body piece + extra sub-stats of that where possible (could be from light cone as well). their main job is to apply debuffs to the enemy, so having a high effect hit rate is ideal in case some bosses have a high resistance.

the best cavern relic sets can vary, and you will typically use ones that increase their damage. for example, welt would want either the full set of wastelander of banditry desert, pela would usually want the full piece of musketeer of wild wheat or maybe even hunter of glacial forest if you want her to smack more, and silver wolf would want the full set of genius of brilliant stars. a recent set that came out is pioneer diver of dead waters, which can be good on them as the four piece (silver wolf especially), or you can use the two piece with their type bonus two piece.

the best planar ornaments will usually be pan-cosmic commercial enterprise, which increases their effect hit rate as well as increases their atk% based on 25% fo their effect hit rate. however, if needed, they can also make use of penacony, land of dreams and/or broken keel, but pan-cosmic is typically a better all-rounder for them. the debuffers will usually be the ones to have a type damage bonus sphere if you want them to do more damage.

another thing to take into consideration is speed. while there is a lot of back and forth about whether speed is necessary and when, i think it really just depends on whether you

a) actively participate in/complete end-game content and need the speed in order to be fast enough to have your characters take their turn at least twice in a cycle (i.e. forgotten hall/memory of chaos, pure fiction, swarm disaster, gold & gears, etc.)

or b) have a character who needs to meet a certain speed threshold in order to make use of a set's passive ability. there are currently five planar ornament sets that have this requirement:

space sealing station - Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer's ATK increases by an extra 12%.

fleet of the ageless - Increases the wearer's Max HP by 12%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, all allies' ATK increases by 8%.

talia: kingdom of banditry - Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 16%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 145 or higher, the wearer's Break Effect increases by an extra 20%.

sprightly vonwacq - Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, the wearer's action is Advanced Forward by 40% immediately upon entering battle.

firmament frontline: glamoth - Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When the wearer's SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12%/18% more DMG.

this is just a general comment: of course there are other sets that people may use on their builds, but we will also get more sets in the future updates, so it really just ultimately depends on which sets you have the best rolls on, and you can always farm more later if you feel you need to!

Hello again, sorry for the delay I am recovering from a bug that simply refuses to die but it has ceded enough ground to me that I can write again so here I am.

First let me start off by saying that I love how the skills of these characters are written like they would be in game, alongside of each of them having a unique gimmick that further makes them stand out.

That said, let's start this off with my opinion on Sun Mou, I like how his gimmick is centered around setting things up so that his team can focus down the enemies with crits and that his passive and his ultimate all reflect him being a strategist that works to plan out the fight ahead by first detecting the enemy and then wearing them down just enough so his team can chain crits to finish them off.

I feel he would work best with a high crit rate team, maybe include Bennet for healing/damage to further make the crits hurt when they manage to get landed on the enemy.

Zhou Gong is a beast in terms of damage potential, especially if he is combined with someone like Venti or sucrose to trap the enemy in a cycle of constantly getting bled by his ability, though throwing in an electro, perhaps Sara for the damage buff, could further make the enemies have a bad time as they deal with the damage over time wearing them down until they finally fall.

That said, his ground pounding ability makes me think of how he would work with Xiao, perhaps a combo team could be him, Venti/Xiao, and Sara or Bennet, and a cryo character to further weaken the enemies so that with the bleed they can be nuked down quickly.

Guan Yun is an interesting one, a boss that you can simply outlast is an interesting mechanic, and gives me many ideas for way it could be done to toy with him, such as constantly freezing him and then just waiting for him to thaw before doing it again lol.

That said, I also see what you did with the 'Let Me Solo Him' achievement there, and now I am picturing the traveler with a pot on their head and two swords in their hands charging at him and swinging madly while he tries to process just what the hell he is seeing lol.

Liu Xian and Zhuge Kong are probably the most broken pair I have seen in a while, the combination of a moderate shield break plus anemo vortex that could trigger a swirl effect, combined further with energy recharge and the potential for a crit rate boost combined make them a nightmare to consider facing on a battlefield.

I think they would work best with a Bloom team like Nahida, Kokomi/Yelan, and maybe an electro or pyro if you want to go hyperbloom/burgeon, as the vortex groups them all together, so they can be hit with a hydro attack and then quickly followed up with a dendro or vice versa, it could also be used to gather all of the bloom in one place with the enemies and set them off with an electro or pyro attack.

Either way, those enemies are having a very bad day lol.

That said, I feel that it would make sense that since they are a 2 for one deal, you would have to put in double the effort to level them up, with their level ups necessitating twice the normal amount of all other characters, with the burden only being lessened by it only being the amount of materials needed being doubled and not the type of materials needed, though it could be done where they need different kinds of material for each of them to level up as well.

Overall, this is a nice group to add to Liyue, though I feel Ninnguang and Yelan are going to be at their wits end with how suspicious some of the group is of them and how little they trust them after having to deal with them for a while, though I feel they could at least be counted on to work with the pair when it comes to defending the lands from any lingering threats.

With that said, I mentioned how I was replaying Warcraft 3 and it gave me an idea a while back, well the idea is partly inspired by 2 of my favorite factions from the game, both villains or at least antagonistic, and a 3rd that I never encountered in my time playing WoW but have heard of a few times along with a fourth that is an example of my adoration of playing with expectations and tropes.

Meet the Ancient warriors.

You will be meeting heroes of old, legends of the past from a battle long ago.

The "Ancient Warriors" are based on the book "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and the era ascosciated with said book. Each of the three Kingdoms are represented by an element. Eastern Wu is represented by water and has a theme of white feathers. Shu Han is represented by wind and has a theme of fur. Cao Wei is ascosciated with fire and has a theme of flaming feathers. Independent is represented by dark and has no theme. All of them have an animal associated with their designs or armor.

Meet the group of Eastern wu

Sun Mou who is based on Sun Quan and the animal tied to him is the turtle and snake or the Chinese black tortoise.

Personality

A strict leader who is an amazing military strategist. A man who is diligent an collectible. He is incredibly strict and a rules lawyer. He also has the ability to read people like a book.

His problem is that he has his head so far up his own butt that it makes him blind to the opinions of other.

He is an anemo character with a unique gimmick he can't use a charge attack and cannot gain energy.

Basic attack

Scale dust strike

Hits an enemy with two slashes per single attack. The attacks count as separate hits. He has a scaling for basic attack up to 5 clicks from 1st to fifth. 200%,210%,240%, 270, 340%. Mind you he has a very fast attack speed.

Skill

Snake technique: bite

Deals 250% anemo damage and is quick slash. Grants a debuff to an enemy that increases the chance for that enemy to get critical hits by 35% and grants all allies 15% crit rate for ten seconds. It also applies 4 stacks of bleed and grants 6 stacks of blade dance

Cooldown 5 seconds

Burst

Black tortoise blessing: Scale storm dust

Requirement 10 stacks of blade dance

Sun Mou sheds dust of his armor. He then uses his sword to make a whirlwind and those dust particles become miniature needles that cuts the opponent. It hits 20 times. He then switches to another party member and that party member gains a shield whose hp is 500% of Sun Mou's elemental mastery. That party member also gains 50% of Sun Mou's attack, def, crit rate and crit dmg;and 100% of his elemental mastery.

Environment talent. Gain an ability to locate nearby enemies. They will be shown in an aura or be highlighted.

Interactions

Qiqi-with worry and concern about why a jiangshi is walking around and is on guard from first interaction. He is confused why this jiangshi is not attacking people. He thinks because she is a child and negative energy was not able to be built up as she didn't live long enough so what was left was good energy.

Xiangling- Thinks she is some sort of beast tamer.

Yelan and Ninguang- thinks they are sus or have secrets

Meet Zhou gong

His animal is a crane and he is based on Zhou Yu

He is a calm and rational man. Mostly, professional and respectful to his allies. He can be a bit narcissistic and rough around the edges. He has a hatred for betrayal. He is a strategist.

He has this need to rescue women who were kidnapped or taken as that is how he meet his wife Xiao Qiao. He also has fought with his wife in a duel in training and for her hand in marriage. He also has a very keen sense of hearing. He can detect even the smallest of imperfections.

He has a water sword but he has a charged attack that doesn't use stamina

Gain an buff called blade dance when his ultimate damages an enemy, takes damage from a floating item like klee's flying bombs and feathers or triggers swirl. this buff increases all allies atk speed and lowers characters cooldown by 1% stacks up to 25 times and has duration of ten 10s

Non comabat talent-he can bargain for a lower price to shopkeepers.

Meet Guan Yuan

He is the ultimate bro in personality and a tenacious warrior to the people who have earned his trust. He is one of the most loyal people if you can earn his trust.

To most people, he is incredibly prideful and narcissistic. This is is his only weakness.

You can fight him as a world boss like the Regisvine. You have two ways of defeating him. You can stall him without taking any damage until the timer runs out or deal enough damage to defeat him.

There is a special achievement of defeating him solo and with no artifacts. The achievement is called " Let me solo him"

Drops are all the books with a chance to double the drops and a guaranteed chance to drop a billet. The billets are always random on week ends but you can gurantee them based on the weekday.

Meet the duo of Liu Xian and zhuge kong

Zhuge Kong and Liu Xian are based on Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang. The animal tied to them is a dragon.

Zhuge Kong is the strategist

Liu Xian is the leader.

Zhuge Kong is merciful and a hermit. He is incredibly wise. He is incredibly wise for his age to the point people want to look for him for advice. Man is good with words and is incredibly loyal to Liu Xian. There are rumors that he might have feelings for him.

There is a specific achievement if you can convince him to help yanfei win a rap competition called " Ya Boi is back"

His only two weaknesses are physical ability and he cannot be funny for the life of him.

Liu Xian is an honorable man. He is a man of virtue. He shows that even as a warlord. He has honor among them. He has a very close bond with Zhuge Kong like Achilles and Patroclus. He says that Zhuge Kong is the only person he trusts with his will

These two are a pair in combat. They take up two slots but they are treated as anemo. If it's these two by themselves they naturally have anemo resonance.

Talent Strategist's wisdom. He can activate the resonance of all party members.

These two are unique to say the least. When you build one you build the other at the same time.

We have Zhuge first as his is easier. Zhuge has no basic attack. He instead has two skills at a ridiculously short cooldown of 5 sec.

First skill tactician's advice- apply a buff to all allies when activated. Gain 2 times the energy and lower all cooldowns by 15% for 20 secs.

Second skill Snore of the sleeping dragon. All enemies get continuously sucked into circle. (Think like sucrose ult with out launching the enemies into the air) that deals anemo damage equal to 150% of his attack and all enemies within it get 10% of their shield broken no matter the type.

Talent This applies a debuff to all enemies. The debuff makes it so that anyone who has it receives 2.5 times the damage when they get hit with an elemental attack and 5 times the damage from a physical attack.

Liu Xian

He uses dual swords like Sun Quan

Basic attack Wushu strike.

Hits an enemy with two slashes per single attack. The attacks count as separate hits. He has a scaling for basic attack up to 5 clicks from 1st to fifth. 200%,210%,240%, 270, 340%.

Energy 1 per hit to a singular enemy.

He strikes the enemy sixteen times. Each hit deals Anemo and physical damage equivalent to 169% of his attack. He gains a stack of honor after using this skill.

Talent each honor stack increases his crit rate by 20% and his allies crit rate by 10% max stacks can be gained up to 3 this lasts for 30 secs

These two share an ultimate double dragon lords: howling gale

Zhuge summons a giant tornado and Liu attacks each enemy inside the tornado sixteen times. Each hit does 200 of Liu Xian's damage. The tornado apply a debuff that makes it so during the duration of the tornado being activeevery element inside that tornado is not removed when a reaction is activated. The duration of the tornado being 25 secs. During duration of the tornado being active Liu Xian cannot be switched into.

Hi! I've been struggling with the Ex level 1 Vargas Ticket Collecting battle (En server) and think I'm missing something obvious. Vargas will be one hit away from losing, my second card in a round hits him with an attack doing more than enough damage, but he'll survive with 1 hp before regenerating health and wiping me out the next round. This has happened multiple times now--is a benefit of his health regen that he can tank a hit with 1 hp? If so, how long does that last?

Actually, it doesn't have to do with his health regen ability, but his "Mettle" ability!

We've called it "Guts" because that's what it says in JP, but it essentially gives the character the ability to survive with 1 HP. You can check it out (as well as other effects you might come across in-game) on our Battle Symbols post!

Essentially, after he casts Mettle, the next time your attack would knock him out, he'll stay at 1 HP. Usually this effect lasts for 5 turns passively, so it won't go away immediately until you do more damage than the HP he currently has. If I recall, Vargas can cast it a couple times during this battle, so you need to watch out for timing.

If he's wiping you out after he does this little trick, make sure you work on your healers and bring them into the battle to help boost your HP!

i still want to believe that carlo had ego boost from henry askin to work for him. but there's a high level of doubt and wariness ofcccc. but i like to think that on deep personal level this situation amuses him (hi egocentric guy hiiiii). might delight at the possible humiliation blinded him?? (consequence of being spoiled ?). few years ago eddie would shake him by the shoulders

(+ wanna mention moretti here; if he made the mistake of spoiling carlo & eddie then carlo learned how to train his dogs well. this is my truth and i dont want to hear anything. contrast w clemente & vinci; first uses intimidation, second /probably/ uses old-fashion tradition stuff)

istggg if there was more time between ch11 and ch12 and henry did became a capo. makes things much more smooth honestly. and henry getting the same fate after selling drugs. istggg. man frames his own capo hi hi hello is this normal !

bout capo. eddie's alcoholism and maybe henry may actually looked more favorable in comparison. henry's used to doing what he's told he doesn't ask questions he doesn't argue. maybe he is a good choice in carlo's eyes

could the drug case have been carlo's influence on henry? (ie passive fatalist meets ambitious cruel guy. and tarot sun card sorry!)

please tell me there was smth goin on between leo and henry. please. + weird things between eddie and carlo after eddie get used to work w henry always thought bout this switch from "how that rat fuck henry used u" to "YOU VOUCHED FOR THAT PIECE OF SHIT BROUGHT HIM INTO MY HOUSE!". funny how this man can't blame himself he blames vito instead + smth personal?
