Ok so I’m gonna rant my thoughts about the show to no one but here it goes
kinda frustrated because I.love.the kid’s performance! They’re killing it! And the show has been mostly entertaining, I don’t want a word-for-word adaptation of the books… however, it feels like they’ve gotten rid of the essence of many of the plot points and character arcs
- the trio constantly trying to sacrifice themselves for the others makes it lose its meaning if it happens every ep
- Sally being so irritated doesn’t feel like her! She doesn’t have to be this perfect mother, but I think they could’ve explored how SHE must let herself be angry and frustrated and etc, not her being that way right off the bat
- Athena currently being the worst Olympian parent annoys me…. Like yes she’s cold but…. The worst???? Really? Also Frederick Chase being a good father to Annabeth but her stepmother being the only bad parent in the house? I don’t think so. I hope they don’t try to redeem that man like that
- and the most important of all: THEM KNOWING EVERYTHING ABOUT EVERY MONSTER. And that happening every time???? It takes aaaaall of the mystery and anticipation!! The point of them not knowing everything was that at the end of the day they are just KIDS! Of course they can get easily distracted and confused and tricked :(
-in relation to that: i miss more silliness!!! I appreciated the deepness of the tv tunnel of love scene but I loveee the silliness of that part in the book! Walker and Leah would’ve KILLED that scene!!! Also crusty???? Rip to that iconic Percy moment (which btw lets us know more about how 'manipulative' he can be and how he's beginning to learn about the ways of the mythological world)
-bonus: tv show hades was kinda cool but idk I feel like they just copied hades from the animated Hercules movie?
Idk, so far the show has felt rushed when it should be slow-paced and viceversa :(
#also all of my fav pjo podcasts being part of the press for disney+ is frustrating because I feel they’ve just tried to praise the show#in every way#I would like them to be more critical because I love them :(#pjo tv show#pjotv#pjo tv crit

hi! not an unpopular opinion, but i’m so interested to see how they continue to adapt annabeth’s relationship with her parents in the show?? cause even in the books i wasn’t totally sold that they were redeemable after what she told us about her childhood, but in the show they REALLY are not making frederick chase and athena look good so i’m just interested to see how that plays out - how that will shape how annabeth views her mother, whether she’ll stay with her dad, etc. etc. curious to hear any of your thoughts!
#okay tumblr didn't let me post my answer so I had to put it in pages and take a screenshot#here ya go!!!#sorry i rambled on but frederick and annabeth is my roman empire!!!!#i do think they'll keep his arc because it fits in with the themes of parenthood and parental love quite well#ask#answered#pebblume#annabeth chase#frederick chase#athena#percy jackson#pjo

I despise the way that Rick handled the abuse and neglect Annabeth faced when she was a child at the hands of her father and stepmother because it was so bad that a 7 year old child felt the need to run away to chb and stay there for 5 whole years.
And not only did she run away at 7 years old but she was also chased by monsters that wanted to kill her on her way to camp half blood and the only reason why she survived was because she came across Thalia, Luke, and Grover, like she was really willing to die on her journey to chb rather than stay at home with her father and step mother.
But when we finally meet them their described as sweet parents who are worried about annabeth safety, with Frederick coming to save her himself which led to a scene in which annabeth was made to doubt her abuse and to add insult to injury Rick had percy (an abuse victim himself) convince Annabeth that she should "give her dad another chace" even though she never even got an apology from him
It's like Rick swept all the bad things Frederick did aside after that grand display of trying to protect annabeth, which he should have been doing from the start, that man did not deserve to be redeemed in the way that he was

The Vampire Diaries: 1x17 Rewatch
This episode pushes Damon's emotions.
If you can’t beat them, join them. That’s the concept of Damon’s deal with Pearl. She dropped him to his knees in the previous episode, so he and his animal-snacking brother aren’t strong enough to deal with her.
Elena: I can't believe you made a deal with her. Damon: It was more like a helpful exchange of information. And it's not like I had a choice. She's...scary. Besides, she's gonna help me get Katherine back.
Damon truly finds Pearl scary, so yeah... it is what it is.
Damon: How long are you going to blame me for turning your birth mother into a vampire? Elena: I'm not blaming you, Damon. I've accepted the fact that you're a self-serving psychopath with no redeeming qualities. Damon: Ouch.
Damon does well to bury his emotions, so when he expresses them, he feels them. This is the bit that bothered Damon, and it hurt. Turning her birth mother into a vampire wasn’t self-serving. Isobel begged him to do it. He’s so bothered by her comment that he quietly storms out of the room.
Damon: He went out in the woods and didn't come back. I can't get him on his phone. I figured he was here with you.
Damon hits Elena’s house because he wants her to call Stefan. He’s not gonna hit a swarm of vampires if he doesn’t have to. When Stefan doesn’t answer, he gets worried because he knows. There were 26 vampires in the tomb, and he’s having to rescue Stefan on his own.
Damon: You're dead.
Desptie knowing there are any number of vampires in the house, he hits their doorstep because he’s not gonna let them have their way with his brother. Like many families, only Damon and Stefan can hurt eachother. Hell to pay if others do. When they pull Stefan out where he can see him, that’s when Damon’s anger takes over, and he realizes he can’t enter the house. Frederick compels the homeowner not to invite Damon in.
Damon: I know. Elena, I know. But I don't know how to get him out.
This gives Damon more reason to worry. A house full of vampires, and he’s unable to enter. Between this scene and the next, Elena told Damon about Alaric. Had Damon already known, he would’ve known how to get in the house.
Elena: Mr. Saltzman. Please. It's Stefan. Alaric: I'm sorry, Elena. But it's not my problem. Damon: That's a shame. Because the woman in charge of the crowd can help you find your wife.
Damon lies to Alaric for the sake of saving his brother. Alaric wouldn’t have helped otherwise. He’s a vampire hunter, so he has no reason to care about Stefan.
Damon: I have to be able to get in and get out. I can't be distracted with your safety. Or this will end up a bloodbath that none of us walk away from..Including Stefan. I know. I get it. I understand.
As they plan their rescue mission, there’s a moment when Alaric looks at the two of them. He’s hearing the effect Elena has on Damon just by the way his tone changes. Not something Alaric expected from the vampire that turned his wife. Alaric would’ve built Damon a monster in his mind, now he’s listening to Damon comfort Elena.
Damon reaches out to physically calm her because he truly knows what it feels like. He understands because he spent 145 years wanting to rescue Katherine.
Stefan: Elena...You shouldn't be here... Damon: She was supposed to stay in the car.
Once they’re in, Damon is so angry, Stefan has to stop him from killing Harper. He has Elena rescue Stefan while he distracts. Full contact fight with Frederick because you don’t mess with his brother. While he’s on the floor, punching him in the face, two vampires come up from behind and start attacking him. He’s then fighting two vampires at once. That’s when Alaric shoots one of them, allowing Damon to chase after Frederick. He wants to kill him, badly, but he can’t find him because Frederick decided to go after Stefan.
Damon: Me? Your merry little band of vampires spent the day torturing my brother.
Damon is hopped up on adrenaline. When you mess with his brother, he’s the scary one. He lights into Pearl.
Damon: If I had a good side...Not a way to get on it.
He has a good side, but few get to see it.
Alaric: So, what you said to get me to do this, about my wife. It was a lie, wasn't it? Damon: Yep.
At the Grill, Alaric punches Damon in the face. He lets it slide. Not only because he lied to Alaric for the sake of saving his brother, but because he knows what he did when Alaric tried to kill him. Damon was the one person who understood his pain, and he added insult to injury when he allowed his own pain to do the talking.
Stefan: Cause if I started again...I just don't know if... Lexi: You could stop.
A ripper doesn’t stop, and a single feed from Elena was all it took.
Damon is worried because Lexi is gone, and he truly has no idea how to help Stefan. That’s the problem with these brothers. Neither knows how to help the other. Damon is left to come up with his own solutions, and he only has his own process as a vampire to rely on.
Stefan's first ripper arc, the blood junkie.

The Godfather Part III (1990) dir. Francis Ford Coppola. 7.7/10
I didn’t even care about Mary, but I teared up for her.
The order I liked the three movies is 1st, 3rd, and 2nd.
I can completely understand how Michael ended up here after starting off not wanting to be part of the business.
It’s Rossi.
Spoiler: [About Michael donating a large sum of money. He receives an honor at the church, which his family comes to see. Kay is remarried and has their children, Mary and Anthony. Kay says she’s here for Anthony, because he wants to stop with his law degree and pursues singing. Michael is against it and tells Anthony he can do it after finishing the degree. Kay convinces Michael to give in and he does. At a reception, Vincent, Michael’s bastard nephew through Sonny, appears and talks much with Mary. He also talks to a reporter and sleeps with her later. In the meantime, he is spiteful of Joey Zasa, who is also there and is his boss. Zasa talks to Michael and brings up Vincent, who then requests to switch to working for Michael. Zasa and Vincent are told to make up and hug until Vincent bites Zasa’s ear. Michael invites Vincent to follow him for a bit. When Vincent is sleeping with the reporter, two men come in to kill him, but he kills them after they reveal they work for Zasa. Archbishop Gilday, head of the Vatican Bank, talks to Michael about how’s good at getting people to give money for the church, but not good at being a banker. He has amassed a debt of $600 million. Michael buys his shares of the organization, Internazionale Immobiliare. This allows him to the be the largest shareholder and a chance to keep his life out of the criminal enterprise. The board approves of this situation after Gilday approves, but it must now be ratified by the Pope himself. Don Altobello wants to get in on the day and so do all of his partners who want to keep their business relationships with him. Michael refuses because he wants to go straight. Michael pays them what’s due after selling all the casinos instead. At this meeting, Zasa receives nothing and tells everyone about how he earned them money and now Michael is his enemy. Don Altobello chases him to clear up the situation. Right after, a helicopter shoots the room down from the window, killing almost everyone. Michael escapes with Vincent and his bodyguard, Al Neri. Neri says everyone who was spared was in it with Zasa, including Don Altobello. Michael has a diabetic stroke and Vincent uses this time to get back at Zasa, against Michael’s wishes. He gets approval from Neri and Connie. During a festival with Zasa’s Italian American civil rights group, Vincent shoots down Zasa. He also starts a relationship with Mary. Michael is upset at everything that happened and also tells him to break it off with Mary, because it’s a danger to her. They all travel to Sicily for Anthony’s opera debut. They stay with Don Tommasino. Michael sends Vincent to go to Don Altobello saying he’s unhappy with Michael disapproving of him and Mary and needs help. He does so and is introduced to Don Licio Lucchesi and learns of an assassin, Mosca, sent to kill Michael. He learns of a swindle with the Immobiliare Deal by Archbishop Gilday, the accountant Frederick Keinszig, and the head Lucchesi. Michael talks with Cardinal Lamberto, since he is most likely to be the next pope since the current pope is gravely ill. Cardinal pushes him to make a confession after he goes through a diabetic relapse, saying the body hurts when the mind hurts. He confesses to Fredo’s murder and Cardinal says he is right to suffer, but can be redeemed. Mosca and his son dress up as priests to kill MIchael and walk to Don Tommasino’s home. Don Tommasino sees the priests and offer them a ride. When he realizes it’s an assassin he knows, he refuses them a ride since they wanted to use him to get in. They kill him. His body is found and Tommasino’s bodyguard wants revenge and asks Michael for permission. Michael, at this time, is exploring Sicily with Kay. They talk about how they will always love each other and he talks about how he couldn’t help entering this life since his people were going to be hurt and he loved them. At Tommasino’s funeral, Michael vows to never sin again. Cardinal Lamberto is approved to be the new pope and he ratifies the deal. Michael lets Vincent take over as the new don if he gives up Mary, which he
does. While is watching Vincent’s performance, Vincent exacts his revenge. His men kidnap Keinszig and hang him from a bridge. Connie gives poisoned cannolis to Don Altobello for his birthday. Tommasino’s bodyguard visits Lucchesi saying he has a message from Michael. He is cleared of weapons, but stabs Lucchesi in the neck with his glasses. Archbishop Gilday poisoned Lamberto using the tea and then he is shot by Al Neri. Mosca is aiming to kill Michael at the performance. He kills Vincent’s men, but loses Michael. At the end of the performance, Mary has been broken up with by Vincent and confronts her father. As she does, mosca shoots Michael twice. One bullet kills Mary. Michael is only wounded. He cries. He is now sitting alone in Don Tomasino’s villa and dies.]

Chapter 5: Catch and Release
Flashback - The Road of Redemption
Once the betrothal is arranged, David Nolan decides he must leave his family in order to seek out a way to rebuild his own fortune. If he's able to, he won't have to see his daughter entered into an arranged marriage. As a young man, he had been betrothed to Kathryn Midas. His father George thought that it was the best match for the family.
He had hoped to never put Emma in that position. He had gotten lucky because Kathryn had fallen in love with Frederick Knight, a business partner of her father, and she married him instead.
David had met Snow not long after, and he is forever grateful to have had the fortune of meeting his true love and marrying her. Snow tries to stop him, but he refuses to stay. He wants his daughter to marry for love not to save them. He still has time.
Torn, David Nolan travels north. He has been hearing an awful lot about a booming port town called Arendelle. David Nolan soon arrives at Arendelle in search of a chance to redeem his family's good name. All he wants is to be a hero for his daughter, his family. There is one benefit of traveling so far, James' reputation didn't follow him.
The climate there is so different from Misthaven. It's cold and somber, there's no color. Or maybe, it isn't the town at all.
He misses his family, his beloved wife, and precious daughter. Milah too, Even without knowing her that well he misses the opportunity to be there. His desire was never to take his brother's place, but to enrich her life.
He soon makes friends with a kind woman named Ingrid Foster. He only approaches the woman at the market when one of her daughters runs straight into him. The girl reminds him so much of his little duckling, his sweet Emma.
Goodness, he is so homesick. He misses his love and his little girl. She is blonde too like his princess but a little more platinum than golden, with blue eyes. He hears a woman say the young girl's name, Elsa.
Elsa is chasing her younger sister Anna. Anna is a little bundle of strawberry red hair and blue eyes with an energy that never seems to end. Young Anna can talk for what seems like hours without taking a breath.
Ingrid apologizes profusely for the two young girls, but David just smiles softly. He then finds out that the lovely young girls are actually her nieces. That reminds him of Milah. He regrets not spending more time getting to know her better before leaving Misthaven.
Ingrid and David bond over tales of family and lost loved ones. He mentions the loss of his brother, and she talks about her sister and brother-in-law's passing.
Ingrid had never found love herself but gladly accepted the responsibility of care provider to both girls when their parents had perished. That is how she became Anna and Elsa Frost's appointed guardian. She has been raising the girls alone for the last two years. Anna is 9 years old and Elsa is a year older, like his Emma.
His longing for his family isn't as bad when he is around the young girls. His Emma would love Elsa and Anna. Someday he will be able to introduce them in person. In his letters, he tells her stories of both young girls and their antics.
Ingrid introduces him to some amazing connections and not long after his arrival, he has started a small trading business. David never knew he had such a knack for this type of business.
He imports anything from silver and silk to spices. Exporting goods include honey, wheat, wool, and various types of furs.
He is truly happy with the success of the small business. Sadly though, the business is growing and prospering a little too slow for his taste. He wants to go home. He sends letters and money to Snow with Archie Hopper's help. He lives very modestly and has no need for any luxury. No sacrifice will ever be too considerable if it meant his little girl's happy ending.
Arendelle Present
David Nolan has slowly amassed enough money to live comfortably. Would that be enough? He knows Emma and Snow have never desired riches.
Milah, on the other hand, has taken to the privileged lifestyle quite well. She enjoys luxury and craves more. Whatever he sends, it's never enough. That thought breaks his heart.
Throughout the years, each time he had sent money to Snow he would ask Archie if it had been enough for their needs. Archie would simply say, "Snow and the girls are fine." Then in the space of seconds, he would always add some sort of remark about Milah wanting to go on a trip or a new wardrobe. His niece's thirst for riches was unquenchable, and Snow always gave in, the money was eventually spent on something for Milah.
Sometimes it was for trips and others for jewelry or whatever she must have. Archie keeps telling David that even his guidance is not enough to deter Snow from granting Milah all she desires. Snow and Emma are extremely sensible when it comes to their expenses. However, the guilt Snow feels because of Milah's lack of a happy childhood leads her to just about squander the little bit of extra money he was able to provide them with.
His friendship with Ingrid has endured through the years. He happily takes the role of Uncle to both girls.
Anna has found love at the young age of seventeen, his name is Kristoff and he genuinely adores Anna. He seems a little eccentric but it's clear that he is an honorable young man. Soon they will marry. That is the kind of relationship David so desperately wants for Emma.
David and Kristoff bond soon after their introduction and David even offers Kristoff a job at Nolan Importing & Exporting.
The threat of the business becoming a target for pirates indicates the success he has accomplished. There have been rumors of a pirate captain from Misthaven making a move towards David's company.
That is how David crosses paths with a dashing Navy Captain by the name of Liam Long. Liam has an impressive reputation at a young age. He has been successful in his counter attacks towards all acts of piracy so far. David befriends the young man and introduces him to his adoptive family.
The young Captain takes to Elsa quite rapidly. Elsa, on the other hand, is a little more closed off, but it's obvious the attraction is not one-sided. Elsa and Liam start by being friends and are slowly moving towards more.
Soon enough, all these lives, near and far, will be intertwined.
~~~~~
KPOV:
In a dark corner of the local Arendelle tavern, Killian is deep in conversation with some of his associates. His eagerness to conclude the transaction has blinded him to see the officers arrive. To be honest he had stopped paying attention to any sort of officials long ago. He was so used to the corrupt Misthaven legal system that would gladly look away in exchange for a small contribution.
He's finally wrapping up the once in a lifetime endeavor and soon will be able to return to his love. Suddenly chaos broke loose, and it becomes apparent that Killian Jones has become overconfident in his excitement to get back to Misthaven. There is an eruption of swords clashing, chairs breaking, and even some cloth ripping. The yelps of the injured are heard throughout the room as swords pierce skin.
The aftermath is bloody and devastating. There are losses on all sides. The dead pirates, civilians, and military are scattered on the floor. In death, nothing differentiates the men.
This is how Killian Jones finds himself rotting away inside the Arendelle prison. He was so close to returning to his love. He no longer feels the need to pillage and plunder. The infamous scoundrel had finally given his heart away.
He had found an odd familiarity to the arresting officer, and had asked one of the guards for the officer's name. The answer was a simple Captain Liam Long. He had felt a connection to the man and for some reason, he had thought of his mother.
He had been so young when his mother died, and the memories, although faint, had stayed with him. To satisfy his need for the connection and trying to never lose her completely, a total stranger had made him pause and now he was rotting away.
He should have killed the Captain when the opportunity had presented. His death would have easily guaranteed the escape of what was left of his crew on his beloved ship and he would now be back in Misthaven.
Killian comes to the realization that love only makes you weak. He had fallen in love, and now he is in a prison far away from where his heart longs to be. Weakness or not, he will find his way home, to Milah.
~~~Liam's POV:
Captain Liam Long was the pride of the Arendelle Navy. He had come from a modest upbringing. He was sent away for his best chance by his parents. He had been almost six years old when he had arrived at his Aunt Annie's house.
She had always talked so fondly of his father, John. She barely mentioned his mother. Every time he would ask if he could send a letter home she would simply say, "Sorry Liam, but your mother is very ill and she will not be able to respond."
Then not so long after his arrival, his aunt told him his mother had died. That is something a child doesn't forget, no matter how young. His father would send letters for years until he also succumbed to death.
Liam had grown up to be an exceptional young man. He was seventeen years old when he joined the Arendelle Navy. Pure dedication drove him to rise in the ranks and became Captain at 28 years old.
Now Liam and his men find themselves walking into a seedy tavern on a tip. Quickly surveying the scene and coming to the conclusion there is, in fact, a big deal closing gives them the reasonable cause they need. Liam acts fast and gives his orders, detain everyone, dead or alive.
Soon he comes face to face with a man that he feels an instant camaraderie with, it makes no sense to him. The man is a pirate; he stands for everything that is bad form. The battle is quick, and Liam gets the upper hand, he captures the notorious Captain Killian Jones.
When Liam visits his Aunt, he tells her of his latest capture. The look on her face when she hears the name Killian Jones gives Liam pause. "Why did the mere mention of that name make you white as a fresh sail? Who is he?" He asks over and over to no answer.
Finally, she gets up and reaches in the cupboard in her small kitchen. She pulls out an old letter and hands it to him. Liam takes a breath when he recognizes the handwriting, his father's.
He slowly starts reading it, and the name Killian Jones takes a new meaning for him. He has a brother. Now he remembers his mother's maiden name, Jones.
"Why are you giving me this letter now? Growing up you never once mentioned Killian to me, ever. Father didn't either in any of his letters until this his last letter. I could have gone to Misthaven to look for him! He grew up to become a pirate. He had no one!"
"I only followed my brother's instructions. He wanted you to forget about Killian. You were young enough that the memory would eventually fade," Annie sobs.
"Yet, somehow I find myself holding a letter that was meant for me to have read after his death. The telling of a sordid tale. He is still my brother and you kept it from me, why? Oh yes, I read that too. My mother made a mistake and Killian was born from it. For someone that has always told me how important doing the right thing is and to be kind to the less fortunate, you sure did not follow your own teachings."
Annie simply answered, "My brother, while on his deathbed, grew a conscience. What are you going to do?"
Liam smiled and answered, "Be an older brother and release him. My record is impeccable; I will get away with a slap on the wrist." Liam leaves his Aunt's house and heads to the prison while still holding the letter. Once he arrives, he tells the guards he needs a word with the prisoner.
Liam is guided to the well-known cells, and when he finally reaches Killian's, for the first time since they had been separated, he looks into the eyes of his younger brother.
Liam asks the guard for a bit of privacy.
"Captain Jones, I remember hearing you mention to your associates there was a very specific reason for your urgent return to Misthaven. What was that reason?"
Killian looks at the Captain who captured him, and for some reason, he knows this man will appreciate a story of love.
"I was heading back to my betrothed. I am to marry once I return. I will be leaving this life to become an honorable man." Killian answers honestly as he has nothing left to lose.
"I will personally escort you to your ship so you can make the trip. Better late than never. Before I let you go I would like for you to read this letter."
Killian looks at Liam suspiciously before agreeing. Taking the letter to the most lit section of the cell he begins reading.
Killian cannot believe what he's reading. He has a brother, and finally knows the reason why his father, no, his stepfather hated him, though the identity of his real father is not revealed in the letter.
Not long after the cell door is opened, he is quickly engulfed in a hug from his brother. He returns the hug awkwardly.
Liam explains to the guard how everything was a setup and that Killian, in reality, was the victim of foul play. It doesn't take a long time for the guard to finally agree to let Liam leave the prison with Killian in tow. His excellent military record is the reason why his explanation is not doubted.
Once back on the deck of his ship, Killian thanks his brother Liam and sets sail. Soon he will be with his love.

Persuasion: Captain Frederick Wentworth [ESFP]
OFFICIAL TYPING by Charity / the Mod
Functional Order: Se-Fi-Te-Ni
Perceiving Functional Axis:
Extroverted Sensing (Se) / Introverted Intuition (Ni)
Captain Wentworth wasted no time, after Anne spurned him, in traveling the world and seeking adventures. He made friends wherever he went and returns full of stories of foreign lands. He is also opportunistic – and not always in a nice way. When he realizes Anne will be in “their company,” he immediately sees the chance to pursue another girl in a casual romantic sense to make her jealous and does so, leading to disastrous unforeseen consequences on his part (she leaps off a high step and he’s unable to catch her, leading to her family assuming him responsible and expecting a romantic attachment from him). He does act and think quickly, however, finding a coach for Anne to ride in, since he noticed she was lagging behind the others and tired. Wentworth shows no real long-term thinking, showing underdeveloped Ni.
Judging Functional Axis:
Introverted Feeling (Fi) / Extroverted Thinking (Te)
He can be somewhat preoccupied with his own feelings and oblivious to Anne’s or any other young woman’s – lashing out due to his hurt feelings about Anne spurning him those many years ago, and deciding to prove he no longer cares by paying attention to another girl; not once thinking how she might feel if she discovers he is not sincere in his flirtations. But, Wentworth does redeem himself in his kindness, his attentiveness to Anne, his strong moral principles, and his willingness to forgive once he understands that her rejection meant no disinterest on her part. Wentworth is rational enough to take quick action on others behalf, and to reveal his heart at the opportune moment.
Hogwarts House: Gryffindor
House Traits: daring, nerve, and chivalry.
Adventurous and impulsive, Wentworth also frowns on what he considers cowardice on Anne’s behalf, in not going against the advice of her friends and choosing to marry the man she loved. He prides himself on not being that way, and in chasing after what he wants.
Enneagram: 3w4 so/sx
Tritype: 317 The Systems Builder [3w4 1w2 7w8]
Wentworth is an emotional man kept in check by pure force of will; throughout the story, his 4 wing takes a central role in how emotional, deeply hurt, unable to move past Anne’s rejection, and even how semi-cruel he can be toward Anne, yet like a true 3, despite being emotionally devastated by her refusal to marry him, he went on, pursued a career, became successful, and has returned with a fortune and much praise. He adapts easily to new situations, he becomes popular with any group of people, and he easily opens up emotionally to her once aware she still loves him. Wentworth has strong moral views and disapproves of “meddlesome” opinions; he looks down on Anne’s friend and informs her he does not approve of her pushing her views off on Anne. He felt the sting of this, because it terminated their chance at happiness, but also because he sees it as morally wrong (1 fixed). He is highly principled, strives to act appropriately in social situations, and does not care to impose on others. His 7 fix is unafraid of adventure and eager to see the world. As an so/sx, he is very charming but unable to understand how Anne could turn him down, since they were very much in love.

The Chase Files Daily Newscap 11/11/2019
Good Morning #realdreamchasers. Here is your daily news cap for Monday, November 11th, 2019. There is a lot to read and digest so take your time. Remember you can read full articles via Barbados Government Information Service (BGIS), Barbados Today (BT), or by purchasing a Daily Nation Newspaper (DN).
BUT NOT OPPOSED TO METAL DETECTORS – BARBADOS’ largest teachers’ union is not against using metal detectors at schools to help combat the violence. General secretary of the Barbados Union of Teachers (BUT), Herbert Gittens, said that while detectors should not be the only measure put in place, he would definitely not rule them out. He was responding to comments made by Minister of Education Santia Bradshaw last Friday after the death of 16-year-old Temario Holder, who was stabbed to death at Frederick Smith Secondary School in Trents, St James. Holder became the 42nd murder for the year. (DN)
SJPI TO LAUNCH NEW DRIVE – The Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology (SJPI) is looking to embark on non-traditional avenues for training and development, as part of Government’s desire to transform the country. It will soon be offering courses in drone manufacturing, 3D printing and electric hybrid vehicle maintenance. The announcement was made by Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training Santia Bradshaw, during the SJPI’s graduation ceremony at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St Michael, on Saturday night. (DN)
SECTION OF HIGHWAY ONE REOPENS – The section of road along Highway 1 between Porter’s Road and Coral Reef, St James, will reopen from Monday. Word of this has come from Project Manager in the Ministry of Environment and National Beautification’s Project Management Co-ordination Unit, Ricardo Marshall. As part of the Adaptation Measures to Counter the Effects of Climate Change Project, the road was closed to allow for the installation of flood alleviation structures, such as culverts and channels. The aim of the project is to improve drainage and alleviate flooding in certain areas in St James. Meanwhile, the public is also asked to note that Trents Tenantry Road will be closed from Tuesday to facilitate necessary works under the project. This closure is estimated to last approximately three weeks, weather permitting. Local access to Trents Tenantry Road will be from the south. (BGIS)
OH GOSH, IT’S JOSH –Employing a delightful aerial rotation and some silky smooth manoeuvres, Josh Burke brought surfing glory to host country Barbados with an impressive capture of the Thomo 1 000 QS at Bathshbea, St Joseph, yesterday. To the delight of a partisan home crowd on the windy East Coast, Burke – watched by his dad, Alan, the 1994 winner – pulled out all the stops to beat the dazzling 21-year-old American defending champion Chauncey Robinson in a riveting final at the Soup Bowl. Burke announced himself in the final with a big carve – a carve is a full rail move that is done on the open face of a wave, it is all about smooth lines, speed and power – waited for the close-out, hit it hard and then rolled it to the inside. It provided him with a wave score of 8.10 and put the pressure on Robinson, who responded with a wave score of 8.00. (DN)
PERSAUD HURTS PRIDE – Rookie Akshaya Persaud’s maiden half-century stunned Barbados Pride and gave reigning champions CCC Marooners their first win of the Colonial Medical Insurance Super50 on Saturday night. Chasing a modest 173 for victory in a day/night Group “A” fixture at Warner Park, Marooners appeared headed for defeat at 82 for five in the 26th over before the left-handed Persaud produced a composed, unbeaten 51 to see them to a come-from-behind four-wicket victory. Sadique Henry struck a breezy 30 while Akeem Jordan chipped in with a crucial 29, in a 58-run sixth wicket stand with Persaud, which change the game’s complexion entirely. (DN)

FREDERIDK SMITH STUDENTS SHINE AT NIFCA – Sophi-Ann Ramsay, 16, Tamayra Norville, 16, Selena Leacock, 17, Ayanna Goodman, 15, Brineshua Brewster, 17 and Cameron Edwards, 17 did credit to their school as they all delivered thrilling performances before a packed Combermere School hall. MC for the night Darren Watson called the name of the school so frequently throughout the programme that, one patron was even heard saying: “Wow another one from Frederick Smith Secondary…They must have a really good music programme.” Sophi-Ann performed in both the first and second half singing Broken and Cast Away and Redemption Song respectively. She was great. Tamayra did a soulful rendition of My Redeemer Lives and then returned to the stage for a duet with Selena. They did Philip 7’s Beautiful Surprise. Brineshua did a convincing version of Hallelujah with Cameron accompanying her on keyboards. The most delightful and entertaining performance came from the youngest in the group violinist Ayanna. She did A Bajan Medley which included popular folk songs. The talented teen serenaded the crowd with her instrument and danced in between songs. Frederick Smith has been taking part in the national festival for well over five years. Singers such as past students Cherese Richards and Theres Lambert, who are both recipients of NIFCA awards, had become fixtures of the annual NIFCA Gala which showcases the best if the festival. The recently crowned Richard Stoute Teen Talent winner Diandrea Harris is also a former student. It is because of these and other successes that the school boasts one of the better musical programmes. Head of the Fine Arts Department Jarvis Marshall along with music teachers Mark and Andre Forde were there to give guidance and to witness the end result of long hours and days of hard work. The teachers told Barbados TODAY that the students normally practise during school hours and sometimes after school where needed. They praised the students for putting in the hard work and for being part of the school’s successful music programme. The school, which has copped multiple music awards also performs at Ministry of Education Lunchtime Concert, Schools Music Festival, Mango Bay Hotel, Agrofest, Massy events and pageants. (BT)
