es being in CONPLETE and utter denial that their prisoners care for them and vice versa. This could be humor and/or angst. Like the prisoners have a whole birthday for es, they bring them back to their room when they pass out, etc. And still, es is like "uhm. Yeah so my prisoners DEFINITELY hate me for the verdicts and stuff" while ignoring a letter on their desk that says "we care for you!!"
They really are the most in-denial child you've ever met -_- I really hope the give-your-warden-a-hug trend continues through the vds, but I'm doubtful 😅 I got hooked on the birthday idea, especially since they don't have an official-official one. I tried to keep a balance of angst and lightheartedness, with the ending ambiguous enough to satisfy either hehe... (Also featuring a quick reference to the last angst piece where Es came down with a fever, but not meaningfully a sequel)
Es awoke on their birthday cold, sore, and crying out in fear.
They’d fallen asleep at their desk (which hadn’t been an issue the first few times when their neck and shoulders weren’t pinched up in pain.) Jackalope denied any fiddling with the prison’s temperature, but they still believed this chill wasn’t normal. Neither was their sharp increase in nightmares…
They shoved their notebooks aside, knocking against the desk’s lamp with a clatter. Es knew they had no right to feel so bitter. It wasn’t as if it was their real birthday. Today marked the day Milgram had begun, but they had joined the others scoffing at Mahiru’s suggestion that it could be considered the day “Es” was born.
And now, there was no one around to push it.
They arrived for breakfast in their rumpled uniform. Sure enough, no one spoke a word as they picked at some cereal. Yuno was the only one to make an odd comment after they stood, heading to the hallway.
“Back to work already? Maybe you should take today off. It’s… a good day to relax.”
“I’m fine, Yuno. There’s a bit more to get done,” they lied.
Milgram’s paperwork and logs had been turned in weeks ago. Everything currently strewn across their desk was there for personal use. It was better to continue their endeavors in the privacy of their own room rather than be an annoyance out here.
“If you say so…” her voice lilted with a lightness Es hadn’t heard in a long time. “Just try and take one break out here, okay? We don’t want a repeat of last time, hehe~”
They nodded, her cheery tone only plunging them deeper into shame. The prisoners had every right to ensure they didn’t overwork themselves again. It must have been infuriating to be expected to care for their own warden. They had to spend a whole week watching over some helpless child who’d dragged their prison into despair.
That night, Mikoto further drove in the knife by repeating the request cheerily. He brought them a plate of dinner, stopping the door with his foot when they tried to shrug off his comments.
“Just a little change of scenery,” he prodded. If even he was offering advice about overwork, the prisoners must have been desperate.
“Alright.” Es glanced down at the plate, knowing it would be going straight to the garbage given their current appetite. Something sweet sounded more palatable, but that would only sound childish to admit. “I’ll come out to grab some tea in a minute.”
The prison felt oddly quiet when they finally honored their word. They crept from the corridor into the kitchen. Es thought Jackalope maintained control of the meals, but the new mess of dishes told them the prisoners had made something on their own. Es felt a pang of guilt for throwing out their dinner; it may not have been as fur-infested as they originally thought.
They made their tea as silently as possible. The ache had returned to their muscles and temples. All they wanted to do was curl up on the couch in their room, grab a blanket to stave off this chill, and cry as silently as they could manage into their tea.
As Es approached their quarters, they realized they wouldn’t be so lucky.
The door to their quarters stood open a crack, voices of the prisoners rising up from inside.
“Hurry up! They’ll be back any minute now.”
“I thought you told them to leave their room?”
“I don’t think they were really buying it...”
Es already figured out the motive was out of selfishness rather than concern, but the betrayal still stung. They were the Warden, after all – they should have been far above falling victim to some mutinous plot to ransack their bedroom.
They took a measured breath. Their plans would need to wait. Es placed their tea on the ground, straightening out their uniform. They mustered up all the authority they could by lifting their chin and making the most of their height. They closed the gap to the doorway and hoped the stomping of their boots announced their arrival with enough intimidation.
“And just what do you think you’re do–”
“Surprise!”
Es’ mouth hung open, the rest of their lecture falling away into complete bafflement. Their room had been transformed with homemade materials: paper chains hung like party streamers above. Colored crafts were strewn about, in various shapes but with a clear rabbit theme. The books on their desk had been cleared away to make room for a cake, on which Kazui was hurriedly lighting some colorful candles. The icing displayed a shaky-handed drawing of Jackalope’s face.
“Happy birthday!” Muu beamed at them, unwavering even through her horrid veil. She linked her arms through theirs to drag them forward. “Didn’t we do such a good job?”
“I – what? My birthday…?”
Mikoto shrugged. “It’s close enough.”
“We figured you’d had enough bad surprises lately.” Kazui gave a guilty laugh. “We thought we owed you a nice one.”
Es’ shoulders sank. “No. You don’t owe me anything.”
“That’s good,” Amane said, “because Fuuta-san completely ruined your cake.”
“It’s going to taste fine! If you actually helped with the icing, maybe it wouldn’t look so bad…”
“I was busy making the chain.”
“Oh, that’s right!” Muu said. “We couldn’t surprise you with gifts, since you see our requests. But it was fun making decorations. We still don’t really know what you like, but we know you and Jackalope get along, so we thought you might like rabbits.”
They blinked. “Ah. Where is Jackalope?” There was no way he’d allow all this. After all, he was the one who specifically told them that a Warden of Milgram has no birthday, or age, or anything else to call their own. It was easier that way, he said. Es had agreed, at the time.
The others looked away nervously, but Yuno kept up her bright smile. “Kotoko’s cell. She never does party stuff like this, but I think she still wanted to help. She’s looking after him a bit.”
That sounded like a terrible idea. Es should go make sure he was still in one piece. Then again, what were a few more minutes to understand the situation…?
They eyed the cake. Though the decoration wasn’t the highest quality, there seemed to be a lot of work put into the dessert. “I thought you all were above petty bribery.”
“I told you they’d be a baby about it.” Fuuta crossed his arms. “No kid likes their birthday to be a big deal.”
Yuno flicked his ear. “Every kid likes that! You’re just the weird one.” Before he could complain, she turned the attention to the flickering candles. “Now, you should make your wish!”
“Mm-hm. Muu won’t eat it if it gets gross candle wax in it.”
The Warden shouldn’t sit around and share a cake with the prisoners under them.
Kazui said, “it has berries in the filling – your favorite. At least, I thought you mentioned something like that to Shidou-san.”
The Warden should recall information about the prisoners, not the other way around.
“How does that sound?”
“That sounds…”
The Warden shouldn’t have a birthday, to begin with.
They tried to get a hold of their trembling voice. “That sounds…” Their throat squeezed itself tight. The others’ eyes widened. They started to cry.
“Oh, Warden-kun!”
“I told you, you’ve been working too hard!”
“Here, let’s get you some cake.”
“It’s okay!”
Es wanted to demand everyone stop with the coddling and the childishness. They didn’t need all this fake concern. But they were outnumbered – too many arms pulled them in and patted their back to fend off. Amane used a sheet of paper to blow out the candles, cutting a slice early.
Es was ushered over to the couch. With all the bodies around them, it felt warmer here. The plate of desert landed right into their hands.
“I… I don’t understand,” they said at last. “It’s not even my birthday. And even if it was, none of us are getting any older. After everything… I mean… You know I don’t deserve this.”
They hung their head. Yuno let out a drawn-out sigh, and they waited for her to agree with them.
Instead, she nudged them playfully. “I know that everyone deserves something sweet on their birthday. And some company, no matter the homicidal status…” Es didn’t expect so many chuckles from the group. “And a wish.”
Amane reached over to place a half-melted candle into their slice. She lit it.
It was mere flattery, they reminded themself. These prisoners had no reason to care, other than to get on Es’ good side in hopes of skewing their verdicts. There was nothing special about it – anyone would do the same.
They looked at the gazes surrounding them. Their smiles weren’t forced. But how could anyone tell what was real, anymore? They curled their legs up under them.
Es closed their eyes, and made a wish.

So I saw a post on twt talking about how Hanako has moments when he's disdainful towards Kou and how this is linked to how Hanako hates "Amane" and how Kou's hero syndrome reminds him of Amane and I wanna add to it
Whenever kou gets these "hero" spurs Hanako has so much disdain in his eyes, like he's holding himself from laughing bitterly.
(Hanako you might not realise it, but i can see your eye twitching here my boy)

If that's the case, and Hanako hates "Amane" (for not doing enough/not being powerful enough to make a difference in the end) then image Hanako's face if the current arc is solved and the day is saved by the useless (in Hanako's eyes) Amane.
(im telling you, at its core tbhk is about how humans can change destiny itself and Nene is the embodiment of it)
Poor ghosty boy is gonna be broken bc WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE DAY WAS SAVED BY THE POWERLESS AMANE AND NOT THE HONOURABLE NO. 7????
Which given that Hanako is not Amane, not anymore, bc apparitions in tbhk are an entire person? entity? of their own that are somehow related to the person they once were? but not quite.

#toilet bound hanako kun#jibaku shounen hanako kun#tbhk#but now image if nene ended up in the wrong year bc of hanako#imagine him somehow realising that that amane he loathes so much is the key to fixing everything and he had to leave his ego behind#for the sake of nene (and others)#hanako kun#yugi amane

Fucking hilarious that after the helcaraxe everyone is so at odds with the Feanorians, even after Maedhros is rescued through the power of Fingon and divine intervention only he and Maglor are able to interact with the other princes without horrible insults getting thrown around, etc, and Aredhel is just. So chill. Her sister in law died on the journey, and she’s out here like “yeah Celegorm is my best friend. Honestly all five of the younger feanorian brothers fucking rule. no the ice didn't change that at all. Yes I know no one likes them. Celegorm being a dick is a part of our friendship. You wouldn’t understand.”
#something about hunter/survivalist-aredhel taking abandonment by her wilderness besties cousins in stride is extremely funny to me.#like you could get angsty with it and look at how Aredhel is constantly belittled and mistreated by the men in her life (except her son)#and how that’s where she’s coming from on this#But honestly much more fun to have her just being weirdly blasé because hey it happens sometimes whatever all’s fair in the hunt.#She stole his horse and supplies once on a camping trip in aman and made him walk fifty miles back#he ‘accidentally’ dropped her gear in the river once when they were climbing in the mountains and everything was damp for a week#they’ve pushed each other out of trees or into the paths of rampaging boars on multiple ovcasions#Being evil assholes who endanger each other is just a normal part of their friendship <3#Look orome is so much more fun when he’s a deeply creepy amoral fae god and I think his devotees should reflect those vibes#and I think it would explain a lot about Celegorm and Aredhel#lotr#the silmarillion

Words on Chapter 120
“You became what you hated most.”
Point Nr. 1: When Teru attacked Kou with spirit lightning to save Nene, Kou was already a ghost.

I am going to throw out a seemingly controversial take here immediately: Teru did NOT KILL Kou and additionally, there are NO PARALLELS between him and Hanako/Amane within the current events and arguably most of the entire manga. Especially not in relation to his hate of Hanako for having killed his twin brother.
This is going to be a very detailed and long one, so have fun.

In chapter 118, Sousuke and Kou are dragged into the exact same door, next to which Aoi later finds Nene's hair clip laying around. We know from the current chapter that this door leads to the basement of the Red House and the opening of the well. We also already know what purpose this well had, since it was established in chapters 68 and 80, that this is the well leading into the pit to which the Kannagi were sacrificed as offerings to a god.
It's a pit of sacrificial corpses, which due to the events of chapter 118 where Sousuke and Kou were dragged into that door and down to that basement, as well as this current one where Kou's possessed spirit tries dragging Nene into it, is clearly a spot still piled up with sacrificial bodies, nowadays the victims of the Red House. And those two boys were both thrown in already.

So now back to the scene where Teru attacks Kou!

Teru specifically uses his spirit lightning to slash at Kou’s hand gripping onto Nene. His sword blade never comes anywhere near Kou's body and we know for a fact that, while spirit lightning can hurt humans who are to some degree supernatural-

It has never been shown to go so far as to chop off limbs or leave very long lasting damages. (Which again, Kou’s hand being chopped off wasn't from Teru's blade either, it never came anywhere near Kou or Nene.)
After the attack, Kou's entirely blood and gore-free wound is shown and he suddenly starts crumbling into mist, exactly like most of the supernaturals did throughout the manga, showing us that this is exactly what a supernatural looks like when they’re exorcised!

Point Nr. 2: Teru knew Kou was already dead.

Alright, buckle in.
When we see Amane kill Tsukasa in flashbacks, it is bloody. He's got him pinned to the floor, using a knife to stab him in the torso, clearly spaced out in some way but committing a very real murder on a very real, living person beneath him.

Without even fully getting into just how completely different Teru's and Kou's dynamics are with each other, in comparison to the situation Amane/Hanako and Tsukasa have going on, you can't just claim that two characters are “parallels” to one another simply because they both happen to have siblings? Tsukasa and Amane were twins, Teru and Kou are not, they’re not even each other's only siblings, they have Tiara there too. Amane was never the one to sacrifice his childhood and future for Tsukasa's wellbeing, he killed him. Teru didn’t take his brother's life, the Red House did.

Tsukasa and Amane always had a very strange dynamic, glued by the hip and overly dependent on one another, Tsukasa even sacrifices animals and later himself to the wishing entity to grant Amane a chance at life without constant pain and illness. For several reasons Amane wants less and less to do with his brother as time goes on, they're still close, but Amane’s keeping his secrets from Tsukasa, and he in turn even accuses Amane of wanting him gone again. Amane immediately refutes that, yet still through a series of still somewhat unclear events, Amane later ends up brutally killing his own brother with what looks to be a kitchen knife (so very likely at home) on the floor, very dazed, but clearly intending to hurt Tsukasa.

Now back to a member of the “I professionally catch strays from the fandom” trio.
I’m going to remind everyone of the fact that this isn't the first time Teru has attacked Kou with his spirit lightning within the last few chapters. A couple chapters prior, when Sousuke invites Kou to search the school for his missing upperclassmen, they encounter the Red House. Aka Tsukasa's possessed soul most likely, since it only seems to take on the appearance of victims it already devoured and we know from the Yugi family photo in chapter 119 that Tsukasa must have died either before or after he went into the red house as a 4 year old, since he doesn't show up in the photo even when he would've still been very young. (This is a bit of a timeline discrepancy, considering the clock keepers went back to 1968 and not 1959 when Tsukasa first goes into the Red House, but I won't get into that right now.)

After this encounter, Kou gets possessed from chasing the entity around and right as he's about to seriously hurt Sousuke, Teru interrupts them by blasting Kou with spirit lighting, a thing he acts VERY CALM about (keep that in mind!). His stance is measured, he's clearly using a lot of force here too despite not using his preferred weapon, it even leaves Kou knocked out and a bit charred on the ground, but clearly not severely hurt in any way.
When even Akane points out how this was a bit overboard, Teru basically assures him that this wouldn't actually hurt Kou, he consistently has a ton of confidence in his brother's toughness.
This also shows he has experience with also using spirit lightning on possessed people and that it proves severely damaging or even fatal on supernaturals, but seemingly never on living humans.

And yet, attention back to the moment it all goes down: Teru is clearly screaming Kou's name in distress, moving to slice the space BETWEEN him and Nene, intending likely to merely free Nene from Kou's grip. If his intention was to just exorcise the entity possessing Kou’s body like he did earlier (in a very calm manner), why didn’t he just blast Kou with spirit lightning again? Why was he screaming his name with a face of agony before even making his attack?
It's because he already knew by this point, that wasn't Kou's living body, that was his ghost. Kou was already dead. He was too late to save him and now all he can do is stop him from dragging another victim down into the well.
Point Nr. 3: But how did he notice?

We can guess Teru has almost completely different senses from anyone else in the cast. He feels and notices things even Kou, Nene and Akane, all of whom can see supernaturals, don't notice. He mentioned seeing literal cracks between the near and far shores in chapter 73, he saw Hanako looking like that on the rooftop, he was the only one to immediately react to Nr. 6’s ambush attack and he is the ONLY ONE in the red house to feel a cold dread and fear of something powerful overcome him, a sensation neither Kou, Akane or Nene felt at all in the house. And again they can all see supernaturals, but they're not attuned to them like he is.
He could see down that well in complete darkness, immediately knowing that what he was looking at were the corpses of Kou, Sousuke and countless other victims. Akane needed a flashlight to get even a glimpse of what had made Teru collapse at the sight, he couldn't see it immediately, no one's eyes are as sharp as Teru's.

He knows supernaturals, he knows the clear difference between a ghost and living human, even when others can't see those. He knew from the moment he laid eyes on his little brother standing on the edge of that well, that he was already dead, a spirit walking without a living body.
He never “killed” Kou, there is no parallel between him and Hanako. He exorcised the shackled spirit of his beloved brother, possessed and puppeteered around by the red house to lure in more victims, because it knew they'd let their guards down around the sunshine boy Kou. He was one of Nene's best friends after all.
Kou didn't want this, he would have never wanted to hurt Nene or lure anyone else to the same fate he and Sousuke endured here. In his very last moments, there was no anger, no blame towards Teru for attacking him to stop him from dragging Nene down. And none of the morbid fascination and happiness Tsukasa felt at being killed by his own brother.
All he felt was glad that Nene was safe now, hoping he'd get to see her again when the world turned back to how it once was.
Endword!
So there you have it. Usually I don't make these kinds of commentaries for things I read, because quite frankly I don't care and I’m too busy to make these, thank you for sticking with me through this because huuhhh it took hours to make dear god. Props to everyone who makes these more often, solid troopers fr. I’ll make an exception for TBHK this time (and maybe if I’m asked to again)- solely because I see so many takes that I find are just very strange or completely wrong and that last chapter had me actually super interested in this series again.
I will take this is due in part to the very young average age of readers for this series and the fact it is often (as much as I enjoy reading this hot garbage, find its worldbuilding super fun and love the characters in it), just genuinely not a very well written series. It has an immense amount of plot holes, inconsistent character writing, situations for the sake of it with no proper set up and lets down on a lot of mysteries it builds up because it never resolves them, even several arcs later.
Anyways, if you disagree with my points and/or want to add something to this, feel free to comment, reblog or send in an ask about it. I think discussing stories does the best job at letting people realise things they never noticed before, so I highly encourage doing that lol. Also you made it to the end of this, you get a cookie. Yandere Milgram. What do you think? 🎤
Mmmmm… a prison full of society’s most unloved and forgotten people whose fates depends entirely on the love and support of others is the perfect recipe for some yandere disasters… I confess I haven’t seen much specific yandere media/tropes, but have some loose headcanons under the cut >:3 The wording skewed outside of milgram since the prisoners have more control there, but these could definitely happen within the prison just as easily.
Haruka: Spends all his time with the person he likes, doing anything for them and doing anything to impress them. Though these start off as positive shows of his love, they take a turn when he finds that their reaction to him becomes even stronger when he’s showing off his strength and control…
Yuno: Showers her object of affection in attention and gifts, knowing exactly what it is that makes them happy. When this warmth is returned genuinely, she gets intoxicated by it. She’s been seen to risk her own safety to really feel something, to get a thrill, so when she thinks she’s found someone who understands and feels the same as her, she doesn’t mind risking their safety as well.
Fuuta: He’s glad to find someone with the same interests as him, and the two spend hours doing their hobbies together. Those hours become days, and at some point he’s nonchalantly suggesting the person he likes go everywhere with him. He talks about the scumbags of society and how dangerous the world is, and before they know it, he’s convinced them to stay back at his place, where it’s safe, forever. He can be their hero, and watch over them always.
Muu: She’s thrilled when she has someone she loves, spoiling them with everything she has. Sometimes jealousy/doubt creeps in, and she worries their love isn’t true (after all, she’s met way too many people who were fake to her and hurt her,) so she decides to have them prove it. At some point the tests she’s asking of them change from something they choose to do, to something she’s forcing them to endure.
Shidou: So one option is that after what happened to his family, his situation would turn out similar to Fuuta’s: a well-meaning fear of what happened last time would result into a full possessive panic of keeping them at home where he can watch over them. I’m also thinking that if something did happen to them, his desperation/confidence in his own abilities would kick in early. He wouldn’t trust any other doctor with their care, and insist he can do the proper procedures himself, happy to have their life in his hands.
Mahiru: Very similar to Muu, Mahiru’s feelings are pure when she starts spoiling her partner. She’s heard too many stories of cheating and falling out of love, and all the best romances involve major and risky tests of love – why not plan a few of her own in order to write the perfect love story?
Kazui: After a lifetime of denying himself of what he wants, someone reciprocating his feelings could completely break a damn of emotions in him. He throws himself into the relationship, loving and being loved, until that cat-like hunger gets the best of him. He starts taking and taking, keeping them home and in his arms because he can’t imagine ever going back to a life without this.
Amane: (I’m pretty sure yandere is a romantic thing, but if it can also be platonic:) Amane loves having someone her age that understands and accepts her wholly. Even if the other doesn’t share the same beliefs, they don’t judge Amane for them like the others do. She shows her love by saving their soul – she starts convincing them not to treat injuries, sometimes physically preventing them from doing so. If this person tries to tell adults, they always side with the diligent, pious, school-focused half of the pair, further convincing Amane that she knows what’s best for the person she cares about.
Mikoto: Finding someone that finally turns his attention away from job allows Mikoto to pour all that extra attention into them. The same obsession he’d usually have for his work now focuses on one person who makes him feel just as fulfilled and important. They’ve become the center of his world, and he wants to return the favor by becoming the center of theirs, whatever means necessary. He makes sure they spend all their time together, and even starts keeping tabs on them no matter where they are in the city.
John: It’s like a miracle to find someone that makes him feel safe and relaxed. John revels in the feeling of having them around. Just hearing their voice, just seeing their face makes him incredibly calm. John’s always had a bit of a “exceedingly direct” approach to problem solving, so he decides it would be best to just keep them with him all the time, where he can see their face and hear their voice, no matter what it takes.
Kotoko: Surprisingly, I think her situation would be similar to Haruka’s. She’s not used to getting attention/recognition for her vigilante work, so having someone shower her in that feels amazing. She ramps up her shows of strength, both with the criminals she’s tracking down and when training with/hanging out with the person she likes. Even when she takes things too far, there’s a little thrill they respect her and her strength
Es: (Same thing, keeping it platonic:) Es isn’t used to strong feelings of affection for another, they mention never giving much thought to it before – so when it hits them, it hits them hard. They become obsessed with knowing everything there is to know about the other, loving absolutely every piece of new information they discover. Prisoner or not, they’re thrilled to keep running Milgram’s machine on this person in order to know every last detail about them.
#milgram#es#haruka sakurai#yuno kashiki#fuuta kajiyama#muu kusunoki#shidou kirisaki#mahiru shiina#kazui mukuhara#amane momose#mikoto kayano#john milgram#kotoko yuzuriha#ty waivy for the fuuta ideas :3 she was bouncing around some religious-yandere fuuta thoughts a bit ago and they go so hard 👀#kotokos was so difficulttttt lol#i think shes the last person to get completely infatuated like this and also has been soooo messed up by the fact that shes dangerous#all of deep cover proved she wouldnt actually get excited if someone was afraid of her but i had to find something ;-;#i think she could end up like fuuta/shidou in the possessive/protectiveness but it still felt ooc for her….#if anyone has any ideas feel free to add them 🤔#yunos was also really tough because her whole job revolves around consent and stopping when the other party says to stop#but there is something compelling there about her used to risking safety for so long#if anyone wants more specifics on a prisoner just lmk! i know i left it kinda vague but it was interesting to think about#also maybe im just too aspec but the idea of platonic yandere was very fun to me asdfsdf#I Wont Let You Go Home es thoughts my beloved.....#rose posts

I still to this day do NOT understand how people defend Hanako in this scene.

Honestly just this entire scene I found SUPER disturbing and I don't understand how anything defends this...
Everyone's argument is "oh but he loves Nene" or "he's just misunderstood"
Like- tf is there to misunderstand in this??
He tells Nene straight to her face that Aoi died and he DOESN'T CARE.
Nene even felt LIED to bc she thought Hanako and her were meant to be saving Aoi.
And before people say "Hanako didn't sacrifice Aoi!"
Yes that's true but he DELIBERATELY didn't do anything to prevent it and even let it happen on purpose bc it was convenient for him.
Both Hanako AND even the summery of volume 15 paint the picture of Hanako finding this CONVENIENT.

It's his literal JOB to intervene with stuff like this and he doesn't do it bc of his desperation to "fix" Nene's life span-
Even tho it was Nene's BEST FRIEND he didn't care...
But the thing is, is that Hanako does care but he ONLY cares about Nene and even so much so to the expense of even her loved ones
He even shows exactly what he told us in the beginning here...
He's says he "granted your wish" but Nene says it wasn't what she meant...

But it seems really similar almost like exactly what he told us in the beginning?
"You have to pay a suitable price."
A life for a life.
Nothing good comes from supernaturals and to date even now NOTHING good has come from the living interacting with the supernatural.
This scene for me just proves what Teru's been trying to tell us..."there's no such thing as a "good supernatural".
#this scene honestly made me sick-#it's so messed up and genuinely disturbing for me and makes me feel horrible for Nene...#all she wanted was for a boy to like her and this is what she got...#she doesn't deserve any of this and she deserves so much better then Hanako.#felt like talking about this a bit bc I've seen some people saying there “not ready for how misunderstood Hanako is gonna be when this gets#animated-“ like bro there's no ”misunderstanding“ or something people have every right to hate Hanako for this and call him out on his bs.#this is incredibly messed up and cruel and no “well Nene confronted him so it's ok now!” ? he almost killed her BEST FRIEND WTF???#the way you all are romanticizing this is crazy “i want someone that loves me like Hanako loves Nene!” no you don't...you genuinely don't..#tbhk#jshk#toilet bound hanako kun#hanako kun#amane yugi#amane#yugi#yugi amane#tbhk amane yugi#tbhk amane#tbhk hanako#tbhk nene#tbhk nene yashiro#tbhk yashiro nene#tbhk thoughts#i may or may not reply idk- if i feel like it i will but feel free to share your thoughts

i never shut up about this stuff but. one of the most frustrating parts of indoctrination and being gaslit and being brainwashed is. the fact that "logic" no longer has any power (until you've recovered, that is).
like... you cannot just tell someone "hey, you only think/feel this way (which is incorrect) because you were brainwashed to think/feel that". because that is the Same Exact logic that was used to brainwash them in the first place. "you only think/feel this way (which is incorrect) because you are not yet Enlightened. let me enlighten you!" *indoctrinates you*
#amane hours#tw indoctrination#ig. idk what to tag this as fmskdfsdf#anyway this is why i cannot stand when people try to get me to just ''have faith'' in something/in them#like. oh yeah??? you want me to Just Believe? nice try buddy i've heard that one before.
