1st one, not much yet, im also making a separate post bc someone else asked me to talk abt that more 🥺

anyway, basically hylian courting is a lot shorter, think “lesbians with the uhaul” type of energy, like sort of the classical medieval “does thee wish to pursue marriage with this one?” ← how hylians ask u out for the first time lmao

if it helps, they do tend to get to know one another well, talking about morals/kids/life goals/preferred lifestyle/house/etc. pretty clearly and quickly, then using the in between time to sort of stew on that information

id say the total time is sort of something like 6 months? maybe 3/4 if they're really compatible

(so bc i love interpreting video game logic for real world building, I actually blame this on how fast Zelda/link get together in games despite having sometimes never met before that moment lol)

like i said, ill be posting about this later

pretty basic, just saying we don't really see hylians in big groups, despite the organizations they form, like kingdoms/knights or on a more personal level, towns/families/etc.

(once again, in-game appearances/video game logic translated to real life to draw these conclusions)

like not only are family units pretty small, like nuclear family setup, with like 2 parents and 2 kids, or single parent 1 kid type of situation, but the towns or collections of these families arent very big either

hylians kind of use their government the way it was intended lmao?

like the villages and towns matter more for everyday decisions than the kingdom/royalty, like Zelda would esstientally just be the mayor of Castle Town for those constant decisions,

while occasionally is called on to make decisions like for several towns or like is a natural disaster happens

meanwhile humans are, in comparison, in Way Bigger groups, both on an organization scale, and a personal scale

like u have all these specific branches of government, whereas im sure the population difference doesn't help,

and on a personal level, humans can easily have like multiple parents, lots of siblings, and once u combine that with each parent having family too, and those families like to meet up? All together??

yeah, itd look insane to any hylians (who’s smaller extended family may just make up their own village and that's it)

3. I've touched on this

like the use of spices, syrups, seasonings, etc

but also the complexity of dishes too, like chilling cream and mixing it for awhile to make ice cream, or even just getting ordering a pizza,

that's a lot of processing, like making the dough from flour and other ingredients, to letting it rise, to making the tomato paste, making cheese, then combining those things with any other toppings, all into one dish??

i like to think that hylians have only just started to touch on actual complicated cooking processes (as in BOTW, where they sell flour and salt, so people besides Link/Wild must know what to do with it)

this has the advantage of impressing any hylian with what a “creative genius” you are lol

4. look im just a fan of medieval time periods Links

so i think its funny if the hylians are used to like 4/3 layers and ur over here like, “wym, if i take off my shirt there's nothing underneath?”

one of them gets bold enough to ask, “d-do you not. do you not have undergarments??”

also this makes its easy to seduce people here? LMAO

clothes are def higher quality, after all there's not as many artificial processes or materials interfering,

plus u usually get some sick embroidery on it too!!

5. so like i get it, Link is the main fighter in games

but like, the few times there is a war/army in loz games, there's rlly not a lot of strategy, beyond just finding the enemy and fighting

tho im partial to that hylians/most inhabitants of Hyrule abide by the “lets meet up either literally by inviting each other or just between our territories to fight”

with occasional guerilla warfare (by any means necessary/stealth/ambush attacks/strategy) that's only rlly used either by Demise/Ganon, or by the wilder individuals/races in games

or maybe even the more civilized fighters in an emergency

and so that means by this logic that all of the Chain use kind of wild techniques compared to their race/kingdom lmao

id imagine its not too surprising to also see “every fight is a bar fight if its for my life” from individual travelers, so im sure they're not viewed too crazy (esp when ppl know their the hero that constantly has to deal with guerilla warfare from Ganon)

but its be hilarious to watch the reactions of both the Links realizing they’re in a bigger group that should be using “proper” fighting strategies and seeing the general publics reaction to this absolutely feral, armed to the teeth, trained hylians with their equally wild human lol

LMAO everyone thinks ur the reason they started using the more brutal fighting methods bc ur human, ur a bad influence lol

(humans would use it primarily, esp after we converted to use that method in warfare a couple hundred years ago i think?)

changing course a bit, hylians tend to use weapons (to compensate for difference in strength compared to humans, and since they don't experience/get a lesser version of adrenaline)

while humans tend to equally rely on weapons and our body as a weapon (marital arts/basic self-defense)

6. this is mostly bc the hylians only rlly seem to have the basics of music, books/stories, theater, and art

i have, surprise surprise, another post abt how i think this came to be,

mostly based on how human curiosity is indomitable and insatiable and the endless force that has not yet met its immovable object.

or at least an immovable object they haven't at least poked a little, out of curiosity lol

like we went to space for that reason, we reach the most dangerous corners of our planet (deep underwater/volcanoes) out of sheer curiousity/for the sake of simple knowledge of the thing

so needless to say, curiosity can absolutely drive any field to its limits, including the arts, which is why we can have stained glass, or movies/tv shows, hell, the marvel that is Hatsune Miku lmao

(fully for entertainment, a projection of light and sound, what is essentially magical illusions but u did it hte hard way, to the hylians)

on a different entertainment related note, i don't know if the hylians would be super into sports, or not really at all? mostly bc they have to use their fighting/training against real threats, not the sort of “fake” threats that sports are

but on the other hand i could see people like knights wanting to use their abilities for something other than violence and fighting bc their life or their villages lives depended on it

bet the Links would enjoy it for those reasons especially, what with at least sumo wrestling being a sport or activity for them at some point in history, and practically beg u for any new games to play, or to ref their games, bc whewwww

im sure they could get pretty competitive lol

7. obviously, their mostly influenced by the Japanese language

id almost like to imagine a sort of, if not outright Japanese (like with earlier heroes like Sky) then a sort of English-Japanese hybrid further along the line

sort of like how English has German/Greek/Latin roots and therefore u can see what words or structure comes from where, or even how u can understand a fair amount of basic words when other languages share the same roots (english, pants = spanish, pantalones)

would make for some funny miscommunications

or even better, most hylians liking ur unique accent or the Links love to hear u talk bc of it lol

Authors Note: Turned this into a full post because I'm procrastinating my drabbles anyways lmao this is going to give away a teeny tiny bit of my uncanny Vash post I'm making but I love talking about the Twins and their less than human instincts

Savern Twins Nesting HC's

Knives

•Knives is surprisingly the less embarrassed of the twins about nesting instincts, this is solely based on the fact that he doesn't see his plant qualities to be anything to be ashamed about, it's just another thing that sets him apart from humans

•Although, no one (besides you) knows about Knives nest. You may wonder how the two points can co-exist but that because a Plant's nest is supposed to be somewhere secure and safe. So while he's not embarrassed that he has a nest, he's not going to openly talk about it and risk giving away someone trying to get a peek of it (not that he really openly talks about anything)

•Knives nest is big, he had a bed custom made that's larger than a kings but circular and with plush raised walls so it feels not secure and less in the open. He's collected various blankets and pillows that fill the empty space so that he can bundle up under them, all of it is white because he refuses to let his nest look ugly or disorganized

•He's a perfectionist too so he spends a lot of time organizing and reorganizing his nest. Every time he gets a new blanket or pillow to add he has to redo the whole thing to make sure it's in the perfect spot or else he refuses to sleep in it

•Now Knives doesn't have to sleep much like he doesn't have to eat, but sleeping is something enjoys. He stresses about his plans a lot even if he doesn't show it outwardly. What better way to destress than napping in his nest?

•Whenever he decides to officially make you his mate (yes he calls it that, what else is he supposed to call it? Everything else sounds too human) all his instincts will scream at him to burrow into his nest

•For awhile you'll actually be hard pressed to even be allowed out of the nest, because why would you want to leave? As your mate Knives needs to keep you safe, and where's the safest place in the world? His safest place in the world, so please stop trying to leave the nest- you're hungry? fine he'll bring you food that you can eat in the nest

•I honestly don't think Independents hold body heat because their sisters live in water, which is one of many reasons they nest. It's also why Nai will drag you in with him when he wants to sleep so he can bum off your body heat. That's when when you learn he can purr (yeah thats right Plants purr propaganda) naps like this are the best. It's hard to stay awake when he's got you cuddled under blankets, gentle rumbles lulling you asleep

•After awhile you'll be allowed out so long as you are by his side or being escorted by Legato, or atleast unless you get pregnant

•If Knives manages to get you pregnant...you are banished to the nest again. It's not so bad though, besides he likes you like this. All round and full of his child, surrounded by plush comforters and pillows that cradle your form. At this point he won't leave your side unless he has to, if his instincts were bad before then they are haywire now, he stays curled up with you because theres no way you'd be able to defend yourself in a state like this, it's his job as your mate to keep you and his unborn child safe and sound, tucked away from the rest of the world

•When the baby is born it's where you'll spend most your time too, I mean...c'mon think about it. Your little one all tucked against you and Nai curled protectively around both of you, gentle purrs from both him and your baby as both their plant markings glow ever so slightly? If there's such thing as heaven this is it

•Knives has purposely made his nest large enough to hold his growing family, so no matter how many children you have you'll all get to curl up in the nest to find comfort or just to sleep.

•I think unfortunately once the children hit a certain age they are kicked out of the nest lol, it's more reserved for a Plants mate and young ones, so starting at maybe teen age it's time for them to make their own nest

•This isn't to say they aren't ever allowed in at all though. If Knives children are in any sort of distress his instincts kick in telling him to make sure their safe so in times like that they are still allowed in, the purpose of the nest is to provide him and his family with safety and comfort so no matter what it's there waiting for you

Vash

•Vash is admittedly a bit more embarrassed about the fact that he nest

•He tries his best to blend in with humans and thinks that people might find it weird that his instincts are constantly telling him to grab every soft thing he can find and hunker down

•Not that it really matters because he's always on the run anyways, he doesn't have time to stop and nest in the first place which makes it an easy an excuse to not nest at all, so Vash doesn't have a nest...right?

•Wrong. Like I said it's instinct and even Vash can't help but begin to nest in whatever shitty motel room he's in, especially if he's had a really rough day and just wants to sleep.

•Vash's nest is...admittedly a bit more pitiful than Knives. Knives has the advantage of staying in one spot, Vash does not, so he doesn't have a single nest but more so a hastily made one consisting of anything soft he can find. old blankets, pillows, clothes, rags, and even his own coat all make up his haphazard resting place.

•When he meets you though oh boy does it make it harder to resist the urge to stay and make a nice big nest for the two of you to hide away in

•It takes awhile for you to learn of Vash's little habit because he tries really hard to hide it away. He doesn't want you to think he's weird so when he does show it to you and you don't react negativly he's shyly asking, "do you...want to get in it?"

•Please say yes, his heart can't take any other answer. After that Vash is more keen on nesting even though the two of you travel, you even buy him a couple blankets that you pack up and bring so that he has something more consistant to nest with. The two of you will arrive at the motel for the night and you sit on the bed watching as Vash sleepily mulls over the blankets, pillows, and clothes he's choosen and organses it in a satisfactory way before he weakily pulls you in with him, purring as he cuddles up to you

•If you run your hand through his hair you'll be rewarded with more purrs and him nuzzling into your hand, but don't comment on it or he'll get embarrassed and hide his face into the blankets while he pulls away

•Vash wouldn't try to get you pregnant unless it was after he dealt with his brother and at that point I think he'd have a more permanent nest. Whether that's on Ship 3 or your own little home he's finally got a spot that he knows is always there, perfect to keep you in while you grow your baby!

•Vash loves spending time in the nest, it's from a mixture of putting off his instincts so long when he was on the run and the fact he actually has a place of comfort for once that does it, so if you can't find your partner...he's most likely buried in the nest

•It's super cute though, you'll walk in the room and softly call "Vash?" and his head will peak out of the mountain of blankets eyes still half lidded with sleep and hair all messy as he says a soft "hmm?"

•This nest is still a bit more messy and it's one of those "it looks disorganized but Vash know exactly where everything is" situations, he doesn't really care about colors or anything, infact it's proably mostly blankets that other people have gifted him over the years, he feels like it tells a story

•Unlike Knives, you'll have to be the one to eventually kick the kids out of the nest once they get older because "what do you mean they can't stay in here with us? Their still our baby!" "Vash their 20" "and?"

•Vash's plant marks always appear when he's in the nest, he can't help it! It's so comforting, besides he has you here warming him up and your kids cuddled in the covers- oop he's crying, don't worry they're happy tears

OK so this is going to be a deep dive into all of Rhysand’s violations of Feyre specifically in book 1. Keep reading but be aware it’s long.

The first time Rhysand invades her mind is not even UTM but well before.

It is very clear that Feyre neither asked for it and enjoyed it, and before people say Rhysand was “playing a role,” this was completely unnecessary. He didn’t have to visit the Spring Court. Tamlin already thought he was the villain. And if Amarantha had ordered him to do so, he could’ve said some mean words to Tamlin and Lucien and been done with it. There is absolutely no reason to invade Feyre’s mind other than to delight in her terror.

Now let’s go to UTM.

Ok so basically if Feyre had given Rhysand her true name she would be dead at this point. And people argue “he was playing a role!” like…how? He could’ve just said her mind was like iron and impossible to penetrate. “Oh he was protecting her and knew she gave a false name!” no…he…didn’t? How tf would he know? And even if he somehow did know, he still gave that name to Amarantha knowing that it might be somebody close to Feyre and her family and got her ruthlessly tortured and killed.

Ok so why is he forcibly grabbing her arm and hurting her here? There’s no one here but them two. If Rhysand wanted to help Feyre, he could’ve revealed himself to Feyre here. Do you really think that Feyre would give away his double-agentry if it benefitted her? There. Was. No. Need. For. A. Fucking. Mask. HE LAUGHED.

Now another argument that I often see for twisting her arm is that it convinced her to agree to the healing that ultimately saved her life. But that is also wrong. Here it is pretty fucking obvious that Feyre was able to reason that for herself. Besides, it clearly wasn’t premeditated. He “lashed out,” meaning it was done in a moment of rage.

Also, he didn’t heal her out of the goodness of his heart or even to save himself from Amarantha. No, he wanted her, demanded her for two weeks out of every month. Why? To spite Tamlin, probably. He is OBSESSED with Tamlin. Look that in comparison to Lucien.

There was no reason to add that second screenshot that’s just me fangirling over Lucien (again). But the point is he healed her without asking for anything. Maybe you could argue he did for Tamlin, for himself, for Prythian, but he’s still miles ahead of Rhysand sooooooo… Ok the worst part...

Do you know what this means? That means the situation with the kiss only happened because RHYSAND sexually harassed Feyre by forcing her to wear extremely revealing clothes and coating her in this magic body paint. Otherwise how tf would Amarantha know that they kissed?????

If you want a plausible canon explanation, well Rhysand probably decided to manipulate her memory so that he said that it would smear if anybody touched it, including himself. I made this on the shorter side, so I hope you don't mind! I have another fic for him planned that's sooo angsty to make up for it. I also made reader have more of a backbone than in the game. Because lets be honest, MC needs to stand tf up

Leo knew what he wanted and he knew he always got what he wanted. That wouldn't be a problem if he wasn't such an egotistical asshole. He leaned back against the couch, legs crossed and arms splayed out on the back of the couch.

"Just do it for me, Honor Roll."

You rolled your eyes. "Can you stop calling me that? I have a name."

"And I don't remember it. Honor Roll is fine. A cute nickname, since you need some cuteness added to you."

You crossed your arms and glared at him. You would have backhanded him several times if it didn't put your curse research at stake. If you had it your way, you would avoid Leo at all costs. He was one of your top three least favorite ghouls.

He wanted you to use your stigma enhancing abilities to eavesdrop on Alan. But you had no interest in whatever slimy plans he had. You wanted to use your powers to actually help. Not help get dirt and gossip on the captain of the house.

"Do it on your own. I'm leaving." You walked out of Vagastrom with a huff.

You could hear Leo following after you. He was persistent, which was even more annoying. He'd usually quit and just move on. Yet here he was, following you around. And he kept following you. All the way back to your dorm.

You stopped and turned around. "Are you gonna leave me alone?"

"No. And I wanna snoop." Leo pushed past you and walked into the worn down cathedral. "I've never been here."

"Leo!"

You groaned and followed after him. He leisurely walked around the broken down pews, the dilapidated floorboards creaking with every step. You sighed and crossed your arms.

"Can you just leave me alone?"

"Why?"

"Because I don't like you."

"Aww." Leo pouted, his eyes shining with a mocking glint. "But why not? Don't you know how lucky you are to know someone like me?"

You glared at him, your expression hardening. "Luck isn't the word I'd use. Being cursed to die in a year isn't luck. Being forced to cater to ghouls who are nothing but trouble isn't luck. You, Leo Kurosagi, are a lying, scheming, immoral snake. It's a misfortune to know someone like you. I'd rather face this curse alone than even spend another second with you."

Leo didn't say anything. He just stared at you in disbelief. Did you go a bit overboard? Maybe. But you were tired. Exhausted of constantly running around and being shoved into shenanigans that often turned out to be deadly. And you were tired of being used as nothing but a tool, especially with people that had no respect for you.

"Wow."

That was all he said. His look of disbelief morphed into a smirk. You didn't want to hear whatever snarky comeback he had. You turned and headed for your room.

Leo called your name. "Wait up!"

He grabbed your arm and pulled you back. You let out a hiss. "I'm not in the mood, Leo."

"But it's cute seeing you get so... agitated. It's fun."

"This is why I hate you!" You growled, shoving his hand away. "You don't take anything seriously, Leo! Not everyone can just waltz through life like you! Some of us actually have problems!"

You blinked in surprise. Leo was actually apologizing. Rare, considering how he thought he was right in everything. He reached out again and placed a hand on your shoulder. His touch was light and gentle.

"I... I'm still pissed. An apology won't fix anything."

"So what will?"

"I don't know. Maybe-"

"How about this?"

Leo pulled you into him and pressed his lips against yours. Your hands curled into his shirt and you tried pushing him away. He held you close to him, now gripping both of your shoulders. His lips were so soft. You could feel your cheeks heat up and your mind start to twist up and tangle. It wasn't until his tongue brushed against your lips for access that you finally pulled back.

You couldn't speak. You just stared at him. He chuckled and brushed your cheek with the side of his hand. Those piercing yellow eyes of his traveled over your face.

"Do you forgive me?" Leo murmured, leaning in. His lips brushed against your jawline.

"Uh... I-I don't... what are you doing?" You managed to get out.

He chuckled and kissed down your neck. "I'm apologizing."

A small whimper left your lips as a shiver ran up your spine. You quickly pushed him away. "Enough! Apologize in a different way!"

"You're so flustered!" He laughed heartily. "Fine, fine. Then how about a date? Tomorrow at seven."

You quickly looked away and frowned. You nodded. "Okay. But only if you're paying. I don't turn down free food."

"See you then."

Leo kissed your forehead before turning and walking out of the cathedral. Your heart was pounding and your hands were shaking. This couldn't be. Leo just kissed you. And you agreed to a date?! It was idiotic! You hated him. And you hated how easily you melted against his touch.

The day Cracker met you, Was the same day of the wedding. You were beautiful, Sure. But Cracker did not want this, And he made that very well known. To you, His siblings, And even his mother. But she just told him to suck it up.

It’s been a month since the wedding. Despite this unfortunate situation, You at least tried to make this marriage work. You’d prepare dinner for Cracker when he came home, Of course he didn’t eat it.

Cracker then started walking towards you. “ That I’d want you? That if we spend time together, I’d actually want ‘us’? Well, Let me make it clear. I DON’T!!!”

You flinched once more when he yelled. Cracker head tilted. “ Aw, Did I scare you? Did I hurt your feelings?” And before you knew it, Cracker has you by wrists, Pinning you down to the couch.

“ Is this want you wanted? Us? Like this?” He leaned down, Close to your face. You looked away, Shaking your head. You tried using your feet to shove him off you. “ No! Please..Get off!”

Cracker thankfully got off, Beginning to walk to his room to rest for the night.

Kurloz x Reader Headcanons

-I will start with the non-fluffy stuff. Kurloz is a purpleblood who grew up with the clown church. He’s a strange troll with morbid tendencies. If we’re talking post accident Kurloz, then he doesn’t really communicate with people either.

-This can be seen in his relationship with you. For the first couple of months he’ll feel rather distant, never quite contributing much into the relationship. Every question you ask him turns into a crazy riddle. If the two of you were able to make it through that awkward patch, you’ll see him become more open. 

-Now onto the fluff! 

-Kurloz would ask if you were up to learn sign language. It’s the easiest way for him to talk without using his chucklevoodoos. Though, being honest, he’s not against using them when he wants to.

-He’d give you all the lessons of troll sign language you could ask for. He’s a very hands on teacher. He’d drag his gloved hands against yours to set them in the right position. If you're a human/non troll, he’d love to know how your version of sign language differs. He enjoys repeatedly signing the word ‘Fun’ at you. No one’s quite sure what it means.

-Kurloz would partake in pda. He feels no shame in leaning against your body or kissing you with stitched lips in front of the others. He would enjoy laying with you while watching the dream clouds float by. If he’s relaxed, or stoned, enough, he’d take a nap right there.

-On the topic, when he’s high he’s a lot more cuddly and playful. He’ll lay on top of you with a lazy, mildly sinister, smile all while signing dumb memes. He’s pretty malleable at the same time. You wanna go do something? He’s all for it. You wanna cuddle in a different position? Just move him any way you like.

-Kurloz would also come up with a strange nickname for you. It’ll be possibly crude and unusual. It’s an even mix up on if he’s going to call you by your actual name or something he created from the deep depths of his thinkpan. 

-I don’t think he’d introduce you to Gamzee. He’d like to keep his personal life away from his servitude.

-He has a habit of pressing the tips of his fingers onto his lips before pressing them into your own. There isn’t much of a reason as to why he does this. It’s more of something he just enjoys doing.

Thank you <3 and Rolan being a bug and Kian being a stockbroker were definitely shock moments for me, but I think the fact that the brain similarity wasn’t even a red herring, it was just bizly making a connecting from nothing. Gosh, what else was a shock, lol sorry this is so stream of consciousness right now, but hmm. I think the fact that Rand was the only one to survive. Most of the campaign was spoiled for me but I didn’t know Rand survived and god just the fact that he could never escape Galloway kills me

ITS NOT ANNOYING AT ALL OMG I GET TO GUSH ABOUT YOUR FICS IM SO EXCITED!

1. I love Rand’s hallucinations and him not trusting reality especially after everything that happened in Galloway

2. Rand noticing Kian being Too Still and not acting like himself and being able to easily tell when she’s lying, chefs kiss I love that fact and I love how Rand is so attentive to that fact

3. Rolan being bug. Ok, just everything about that is amazing. The bug talking in his mind constantly and worriedly chattering about missing the hive and queen but it slowly shifting and being calmed with the help of Kian and Rand is so amazing I adore it

4. Kian trying so hard to act like everything is fine while slowly breaking apart kills me. They’re just trying their hardest to be ok and to help the others and it breaks me a bit. I love it. She’s just such a good people person and able to read the others so well and knows what to say, but doesn’t know the first step to help herself. He’s just everything to me, I love him

5. Kian’s forceful dissociation when music plays is such a nice touch and call back to everything with Becky, it’s perfect

6. Rolan being able to shift to a more human appearance is such a cool detail and aspect for him I really really like it

7. Maybe it’s just because I relate too much to Rand and understand him too well, but the way you write him is amazing. He just tries so hard but his anger and paranoia just gets in the way and I love how Kian knows how to navigate it and not give into that while Rolan is also frustrated and does give into the petty fights

8. Rand’s hallucination of Rachel, that was so well done and I love it

9. Just god so much is so good and so well written I love your collection, it’s amazing

here's where it gets messy. mama is also out of town a lot for work. he goes overseas, just touring around. but bc he spends every waking moment he is in town attached to your hip, his absence is so. prominent. and god it feels so awful not seeing him. phone calls arent enough. good morning and goodnight texts are sporadic because he's so busy. you miss having mama around to hold you while you do work.

and it's not great for him either. he's constantly worried about you. he can't get you out of his head. when he finally gets back it's like he's moved heaven and earth buying you various trinkets that reminded him of you (some even extremely rare and valuable since... he just collects those things anyway)

just. intense back and forth of hapoiness being with him every single day to devastating loneliness whenever he leaves. each time he comes back, ofc intense welcome home sex ensues. but it never goes past the fwb stage. any deeper feelings he's harboured are shoved aside and he grows distant when he feels like you want to get even closer. he always wants what he can't have. and he'd rather you not be caught up in whatever bullshit he goes through so he lies to himself saying he's content with meaningless sex and just doing things for you. even when you have consumed his entire thoughts. yet he's unaware that you are much the same. craving him more and more that you wanna get through to him. but HIS FUCKASS LONESOME WAYS MAKES YOU HESITATE. SO YALL JUST GO NOWHERE. AND ITS JUST A "what are we?" LOOP

mf.... madara just will not communicate. he can't go beyond superficial desires and acts of service because it scares him to face the fact these feelings have grown wildly out of control. it scares him because the moment he does, he fears his own self destructive tendencies will take over and he'll just ruin everything. whats more is that imo i think he would still unconsciously do things like distance himself, not speak to you for days even after coming back as like a way for you to grow to resent him. that way if things crumble he can just say oh the signs were there as if he didn't put those flags up himself.

Madara Mikejima, King of Miscommunication. He adores you and puts you on such a high pedestal that it becomes nearly impossible to convince him to stand by your side as your equal. He believes that you deserve better so much but he's also too selfish to give you up. He's not worthy of you, but neither is anyone else.

He wants the emotional intimacy. He wants the domesticity. He wants everything. Hell, he probably indulges in these things pretty often in a FWB relationship, but he can't ever tie you down. The moment he gets the inclination that you're getting too attached, he runs. When you're truly in a time of need he will always be there for you but otherwise he's as fickle as the wind.

It's a horrendously painful but addicting relationship that neither of you can truly break off

The Saints wanna use the time machine to make the destruction of earth never happen but some programming of the machine got really wrong and they end up in the Commonwealth 2287.

(I actually have an idea how it happened but too much to write for now)

Boss will wake up in Vault 111 and find Nate as the only Survivor but all of the other Saints seem to have disappeared.

Since Nate wants search for his son, Boss will 'join' him occasionally to search for his friends.

The story will practically be an altered FO4s story, with Boss travelling with Nate and during their journey Boss will find his friends that ended up in the different factions.

For example Gat got picked up by the Brotherhood of Steel. They liked his skills and gave him an opportunity to join. So Gat joined them to have better access to weapons and armour to also search for the other Saints.

Which fractions I'll gave to which Saint is something I'm still figuring out but I want to bring back some 'forgotten' Saints from earlier games since the travelling with the time-machine actually managed to bring some Saints back.

And I'm kinda happy about this idea, bcs that way I am able to give every Saint a own small story for this AU 👉👈

I honestly have also already an idea for an ending of the story as well and that will happen after FO4 story and return them all to the SR verse... ugh I can't wait to talk about it at some point.

Also random side infos but since Boss and Nate are the mains of my AU I think alot about their relationship and they will definitely have some struggles getting along xD

Nate is canonly described with the patience of a Saint while Boss is definitely the other way around ...

...they end up arguing ... alot ... and some bad decisions will happen.

But then again I can see them getting along after all ... they probably happen to have deep talk when they can't sleep. Both have been through alot of shit and I just can see them talking about that and their past.

...

Also can't get rid of the idea of Boss calling Nate 'Mr. Dad' as some kind of mocking.

(I always used british Boss and in SRTT/IV he uses nicknames all the time... so yeah... felt right adding some fun stuff here and there too.)
