Revolutionize Your Health: The Benefits of Stem Cell Therapy in India
Tumblr media
In the recent past, the medical treatment world experienced massive changes due to the introduction of stem cell therapy. This gave hope to cure many chronic ailments, and India has progressed well in upgrading its healthcare infrastructure and medical experts. Among such leaders are MedTravellers, a health-care company exclusively focused on providing the international community with access to the most advanced treatments in the world, including stem cell therapy. In this article, light will be thrown upon the benefits of stem cell therapy in India related to diabetes and ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). Here again, focus will be there on how we can help you in your health journey.
What is Stem Cell Therapy?
Stem cell therapy is an approach that utilizes stem cells to fix tissue and cellular damage within the body. It is considered precious because of its ability to differentiate into numerous forms of cells. Stem cells are obtained through several sources such as bone marrow, adipose tissue, and cord blood.
Research and development in India has been a full-fledged growth engine within the field of stem cell therapy; thus, it has followed a swift growth curve due to significant advancement in research and development projects in the country. This advanced patient care and treatment protocol has ensued enhanced clinical outcomes.
Increasing demand for stem cell therapy in India
Today, because of the popularity of stem cell treatment, many patients from all around the world, especially Australia, come to India for the effective treatments of various chronic diseases. The country has many accredited hospitals and clinics, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and highly expert in providing stem cell treatments.
The MedTravellers ties patients who are looking for treatment abroad with premium healthcare facilities in India. Thus, its wide reach provides every patient with the required treatments depending on your individual requirements.
Benefits of Stem Cell Therapy
1. Treatment for Diabetes:
This is one of the potential benefits of stem cell therapy because of its revolutionary ability to treat a variety of conditions, including this one.
Diabetes is one of the most common health disorders to have emerged in the world, with millions suffering from the full-blown debilitation caused by it. New researches on diabetes treatments in India have shown promising results using stem cells. It has been discovered that the proliferation and regeneration of destroyed pancreatic cells, wherein the former produces insulin in the body, are enhanced by stem cells. Hence, there is a cure for the disease through stem cell therapy rather than treating the symptoms of the disease.
We will assist patients from Australia to reach the best facilities and specialists in India for stem cell therapy for diabetes in India. It sticks around throughout the entire journey-from initial consultation, post-treatment care-all to ease the experience and hassle-free.
2. ALS Disease Treatment
ALS is a neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells both in the brain and spinal cord. That condition impacts on muscle weakness, loss of motor function, and finally respiratory failure. Traditional therapy cures the symptoms, rather than the disease, and many patients have remained well aware that an effective one still exists.
Thus, stem cell treatment for the ALS disease treatment in India has become hope for all the patients. Research conducted thus far have also pointed to the fact that stem cells can indeed slow the progress of the disease, thus helping to regenerate nerves. Administering stem cells into the spinal cord or brain may, hopefully, be a better way to regain any lost functions and allow the patient with ALS to enjoy a good quality of life.
We will help patients find their treatment plans in India in the hands of a professional who knows all the knowledge related to ALS disease treatment in India with modern techniques in stem cell therapy.
3. Improved Recovery and Regeneration
Apart from curing diabetes and ALS, the regenerative capacity of stem cell therapy might cure many diseases. This new medical treatment has much seen hope in medical conditions like heart attack, orthopedic injuries, and autoimmune diseases. This potentiality of repairing or replacing damaged tissues by the use of stem cells grants an invaluable tool in modern medicine.
MedTravellers would help the patient who travels from Australia to conduct a stem cell therapy journey in India so that they could undertake treatment with personalized plans assembled to maximize recovery and promote general well-being.
4. Cost-EffectivenessOne of the advantages of receiving stem cell therapy for Australian patients is that it is cost-effective in comparison with procedures undertaken in Western countries. Patients can receive quality care at a lower cost, which increases its attractiveness in the eyes of those seeking advanced medical treatments.
Guides patients from Australia through all financial and logistical aspects of your treatment can be taken into confidence with regard to transparent cost estimates and allowing us to make logistical arrangements.

WebMD Page for Aziraphale
As promised to you all, inspired by that video of Aziraphale as an antidepressant. The WebMD drug format, from your clearly deranged mascot, Asmi. This took way too much effort. For legal purposes, even though this blog is a lawless hellscape, this is a spoof. If you did like it, reblog it, maggoty loves of mine, because likes don't help visibility on tumblr, and I want everyone to be traumatised with my own specific brand of unhinged. No pressure though, be rebels muaha. That being said:
MENU > DRUGS & MEDICATIONS > AZIRAPHALE
COMMON BRAND(S): Guardian of the East Gate, Angel GENERIC NAME(S): Aziraphale
USES This medication is used to treat mood-related disorders ranging from depression to chronic loneliness and anxiety. It has also been proven effective in treatment of Compulsive Demonic Behavioural Disorder (CDBD) and Post Fall Stress Disorder (PFSD). The medication results in an overall improvement in mood (see Side Effects), morals, and lifestyle choices. This medication is sometimes described as a 'miracle-worker'. It is advisable to ensure that the correct dosage is taken at regular intervals. The doctor/God/Forces That Be may prescribe a lower dose at the start, gradually increasing frequency and amount over the course of millennia.
SIDE EFFECTS Documented side-effects include pining behaviour, severe withdrawal symptoms in case of suddenly stopping the medication, heart palpitations, stuttering or stammering, mood swings including irrational lashing out or defensive behaviour when faced with highly emotional situations, break-ups, misunderstands, obliviousness, amongst others. Despite the studies being limited to a single subject (see Crowley et. al. updated 2023) these effects are typically harmless in the long term. Life-altering effects may also be noted, including irretrievably falling in love, marriage, a positive character arc, tendencies to put oneself at risk to ensure continuation of medication, lifelong friendship, fate-defying romance and severe allergy to the idea of discontinuation of medication.
WARNINGS Casual or reckless consumption can be too fast for the medication, which will lessen its effects, leading to withdrawal symptoms. Withdrawal symptoms range from repeated indulging in CDBD and PFSD induced behaviours to alcoholism, depressive episodes, recklessness, listlessness, and prolonged car rides with no purpose. While the medication should not be consumed too fast, regularity is also advised. This is a long-term medication and not a short-term fix. Rare, short-term exposures will only worsen the side effects, withdrawal symptoms and may even reverse the drug effects.
PRECAUTIONS Ensure immortality so that the medication may be able to work its effect through the full course. Pre-existing trauma and heart conditions may require regular consultations with a therapist.
INTERACTIONS Drug interactions may change how the medication works or increase severity of side effects. This document does not include a comprehensive list of all drug interactions, please do adequate research and check instructions on the medication before proceeding with additional drugs. Aziraphale is known to have highly negative interactions with the toxin hellfire as well as the drugs Gabriel (only when sold as Supreme Archangel), Satan and Metatron (known toxin). Negative interference may occur due to most drugs from the class Heaven and Hell. Vague interference may occur with the drug class Homo sapiens.
OVERDOSE While less dangerous than withdrawal symptoms, overdose may lead to lack of personal space, miscommunication, and decrease in mood stability. Increased irritability is also common. Use with caution.

REVIEWS (1) Effectiveness: 5 stars Ease of use: 4 stars Satisfaction: 100000000000000000000e stars
It must be noted that in the country where I live (India), advertisements for pharmaceutical drugs are legally prohibited on television and other media. Which is why I was very bewildered at the initial video. But WebMD is a universal phenomenon so this shall by my contribution to the fandom. Thank you @neil-gaiman, Good Omens has given me a lot of opportunities to exercise my brain in all the weirdest ways.

is hamas = isis?
i've been seeing zionists say that 'anti-zionist and pro-palestine jews who oppose israel are not real jews' and ... first of all. who are you to decide who is and isnt a real jew?
and secondly!!! guess what this is a disturbing parallel to? ISIS.
because when the islamic state declared a caliphate, they also said smth similar: that any muslim who opposes the caliphate of the islamic state, is an apostate.
also interesting to note that, according to isis, hamas would also be apostates + isis also opposed hamas bec isis believed that nobody besides the caliphate of islamic state had the right to declare jihad -> so isis declared war on hamas
Tumblr media Tumblr media
on the other hand, israel has provided free treatment to isis and other syrian militants in israeli hospitals
obv the tactic of equating hamas with isis is pure hasbara done for the sake of creating mass hysteria against hamas and convincing the usa/nato to sanction the mass killing of palestinians (in the name of eliminating hamas). macron even said the same coalition fighting isis should also fight hamas
Tumblr media
some more differences + links mentioned below the cut:
some other differences:
isis is a salafi/wahabi org (look into islamic statism) /// hamas is a sunni org
isis is a transnational org /// hamas is a palestinian nationalist org
the aim of isis is to eradicate all 'bad' muslims+non-muslims & establish their rule all over the world /// the aim of hamas is to secure complete liberation of palestine
isis has conducted militant operations in different countries beyond its territories /// hamas does not conduct operations beyond historic palestine
isis kills anyone who does not adhere to its extremist interpretation of islam (including yazidis, jews, christians, shia & sufi muslims) /// hamas has been tolerant to different sects (alliance with shia hezbollah org) + different religions (palestinian christians/foreign aid workers)
isis literally legalized slavery which afaik no other islamic militant org has done (besides boko haram i think?)
isis is extremely anti-shia and opposes hamas for having links with iran and hezbollah
isis also feels obligated to kill any other muslim that does not pledge loyalty to the caliphate (even attacked some of their own previous allies) /// hamas has an alliance with several other palestinian resistance organizations regardless of different ideologies as long as they share a common goal of liberating palestine (palestinian joint operations room)
pls lmk if any info here is incorrect/needs editing!

the message behind oddworld
this might be a bit broad but I just wanted to explore the main themes in oddworld,my favorite game series with soul storm at the very top (it may or may not be because of al teehee). in oddworld, one main theme in the game is slavery and capitalism because believe it or not, there's still people in foreign countries being treated as slaves, mostly women. another main theme that kind of reminds me of avatar unironically is the industrialists destroying what the natives have and trying to make a profit from it. but what do all these themes have in common? well,it's a call to action for the government to do something about these very real issues people go through on a daily basis, like the women in Asian countries like India and Saudi Arabia who aren't even allowed to drive and married at the age of 8,but i'm getting sidetracked. one thing that the mudokons have in common that I noticed is scars. Alf has the most trauma and so does Abe and Alf also has the most scars. one on his lip, forehead, bottom eyelid and shoulder (ouch:() and I believe that the slavery they faced was worse than we think because it took years to get them freed by their messiah,Abe (<3). another constant theme in the game is wanting to run and escape and the constant, persistent fear of being caught while trying to run from their impending doom, being a terrible execution or if they even dare to escape the brew which is very similar to that of a crack or beer addiction. the slaves are kept in slavery, threatened if they even try to escape, the female mudokons are treated even worse as they are only seen as breeding grounds and can only produce male babies, have their precious land taken away and turned into work for the slaves for profit from the glukkons, shot on sight if they somehow manage to escape rupture farms, the glukkons being seen as corrupt politician's,the mudokons are depicted with low self esteem because of their harsh treatment and only see themselves as slaves, but worst of all,it's endless labour with no reward or pay and they are desperate to get out in any way and almost seem suicidal to escape the slavery and abuse. the song "labour" by Paris Paloma perfectly encapsulates this with the lyrics "for somebody I thought was my saviour, sure made me do a whole lot of labour". the whole song is perfect for oddworld especially the lyrics,"if we had a daughter,I'd watch and could not save her,the emotional torture from the head of your high table. she'd do what you taught her, she'd meet the same cruel fate,so now i've got to run so I can undo this mistake" and "24/7 baby machine". I see oddworld as a call to action and a protest to end the many depressing themes in the game. now let's talk about the brew for a moment. the song crack baby by Mitski is also perfect for this game "crack baby, you don't know what you want, but you know that you had it once, and you know that you want it bad". there's so much to unpack about oddworld and I could write an essay on it and turn it in on time but I don't have all the time in the world because of school. one last theme about oddworld is trauma too and the lyrics from crack baby capture that too "all these 20 years on a vacation" which i interpret as not knowing how your trauma has affected you until your adult years and you don't know what to do or can't get help because you feel as if it is too late to reach out. we all know Alf has trauma from almost dying because of withdrawal from the brew and possibly running the rehab for mudokons and that undoubtedly would leave a lasting mark for some people, but I feel like Abe also has some trauma as well from everything he's gone through in the games and I feel like because he's the chosen one,he was treated worse than the others which I feel like is a metaphor for having a disability and being treated worse than other people and not knowing why, also,Toby definitely has autism,I could just tell right off the bat and I love that Alf is there for him. oddworld tackles these topics really well and I wonder what other themes they will tackle in the future games

Effect of Colchicine on In-vitro Cultures of Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) for Polyploid Development
Tumblr media
Abstract
Crop improvement possibilities in turmeric Curcuma longa (L.) are limited due to its triploid nature except for polyploidisation. Colchicine is a chemical that is used frequently to make plants polyploidy. Hence, this research aimed to study the effect of colchicine on the ability to induce polyploidisation of in-vitro turmeric cultures. The study consisted of two experiments: (1) assay on in-vitro culturing for callus induction and (2) assay on colchicine treatments and polyploidy screening. In experiment 1, turmeric rhizome buds were cultured on MS-solidified medium for callus induction with 100 mL coconut water, 2.5 and 4.5 mg L-1 2,4-D, 0.93 mg L-1 KIN, and without growth regulators. In addition, cell suspension culture was tested for callus induction with 4.5 mg L-1 2,4-D and 0.93 mg L-1 KIN.  For polyploidy induction in experiment 2, in-vitro developed callus tissues were transferred to liquid MS medium supplemented with various concentrations of colchicine (0, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, and 0.20%) for 2 days. Then acetocarmine staining method and microscopic observation were attempted to count the chromosome number. Nucleus size; nucleus area (µmSq) and perimeter (µm) were referred using microscopic observation under 1000× magnification and BEL capture software. The results revealed that MS-solidified medium supplemented with coconut water was most effective in inducing callus. The nucleus area (371.225 µmSq) and perimeter (65.725 µm) of the cells in 0.05% colchicine for 2 days showed the highest results. It can be concluded that 0.05% colchicine concentration has an effect on nuclear size increment thereby possibly inducing polyploidization of turmeric.

Introduction
Turmeric is regarded as the golden spice with innumerable health benefits. Turmeric, scientifically known as Curcuma longa L. belongs to the Zingiberaceae family and genus Curcuma. Turmeric is cultivated most extensively in India, followed by Bangladesh, China, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. In most tropical regions of Africa, America, and the Pacific Ocean Island, it is also grown on a modest basis. The world’s biggest producer, importer, and user of turmeric is India (Shrishail et al., 2013).
It has many cultivars due to its highly variable morphology and the wide range of chromosome numbers in the genus, with diploid, triploid, and tetraploid plants. Curcuma longa belongs to the triploid species (2n=3x=63), a rhizomatous perennial herb whose rhizome is used as one of the most common sources of spices in the world. Turmeric's unique flavour has made it popular for usage as a flavoring ingredient, cosmetic, textile dye, and other applications. Major active ingredients of turmeric include three curcuminoids; curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, and bisdemethoxycurcumin , among curcumin is the main chemical component of turmeric with 0.3-8.6% (Phukan et al., 2022).
Tumblr media
Turmeric is a highly valuable plant in the world. Therefore, crop improvement is timely and important for turmeric, targeting high-yielding varieties and enhancing the quality and quantity of curcumin, with high oleoresin and essential oil content, to overcome the hybridisation barrier and enhance the fertility of the plant, pest resistance, environmental adaptability, and stress tolerance for biotic and abiotic stress (Forrester et al., 2020).
Turmeric is propagated by vegetative propagules that sustain the genetic makeup of the crop throughout the generations therefore; the genetic diversity is very low in turmeric. A spontaneous mutation is one way of generating genetic diversity (Ulukapi and Nasircilar, 2018). However, it is a very rare chance to happen (Oladosu et al., 2016). Also, there are many problems when considering conventional breeding of turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) and crop improvement (Dudekula et al., 2022). This is a monocotyledonous species, rarely flowering. It is classified as a sterile triploid plant (2n = 3x = 63) and cannot be used as parents for further breeding and to produce sterile flowers with no gametes. Therefore, having drawback of making inter-specific crosses (Ketmaro et al., 2012). Also, during the growing season (8-10 months) each rhizome can produce 10-25 lateral buds, but only 4-6 of them actively develop plantlets. Due to its nature, it has a limited genetic diversity and therefore, crop improvement and conventional breeding is difficult (Upendri and Seran, 2021). Thus a research was aimed to study the effect of colchicine on the ability to induce polyploidisation of invitro turmeric cultures.

Nawaz Sharif, born on December 25, 1949, in Lahore, Pakistan, is a famous Pakistani politician and businessman who has been the country's Prime Minister three times: from 1990 to 1993, 1997 to 1999, and 2013 to 2017.
Sharif belongs to the prominent Sharif family, whose business empire is the Ittefaq Group, interested in sugar, steel, and textiles. He got an LL.B. from the University of the Punjab at Lahore before entering his family's business.
Political Career
Tumblr media
Sharif started his political career in the early 1980s as he was appointed the Finance Minister of Punjab province. Later he took the position of Chief Minister of Punjab in 1985 and continued until 1990.
He won his first term as the Prime Minister of Pakistan through the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) [PML-N] as the leader in October of 1990. It was after the dismissal of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto by President Ghulam Ishaq Khan when using his rights under a constitutional clause granting him the right to dissolve the elected government if they were deemed corrupt or ineffectual. During his first term, Sharif pursued economic liberalization and infrastructural development.
Second Terms
However, his tenure was cut short in 1993 after conflicts with the President resulted in his resignation. In 1997, he regained power with a handsome majority in parliament, thus allowing him to implement constitutional amendments that curtailed presidential powers and enhanced the role of the Prime Minister.
His second term witnessed Pakistan's first nuclear tests in 1998, a response to India's tests, which led to international sanctions. In 1999, his government was overthrown in a military coup led by General Pervez Musharraf, resulting in Sharif's exile to Saudi Arabia.
After years in exile, Sharif returned to Pakistan and re-entered politics. He remained as Prime Minister in 2013 for a third time, concentrating on the matters of economic reforms, energy projects, and infrastructure, which included the start of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Jail term and Allegations
However, he also faced allegations of corruption in his term, for which he was disqualified from holding office by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2017 after the Panama Papers leakage. Since then, he has been under constant legal pressures and received convictions in prison for corruption cases. In 2019, for medical treatment, he arrived in London on bail.
In addition, he has also been declared an absconder by a Pakistan court; however, subsequently, the Islamabad High Court had granted him protective bail in the Avenfield and Al-Aziza cases. In 2023, after four years of exile, he made a comeback to Pakistan, for which he was acquitted by the Islamabad High Court in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia Steel Mills cases.
Family and Personal Life
Tumblr media
Nawaz Sharif is married to Kulsoom Nawaz who died in 2018. He has four children, one of whom, Maryam Nawaz, is actively involved in the politics of Pakistan. His younger brother, Shehbaz Sharif, is also an important political figure, who served as the Chief Minister of Punjab and later became the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Legacy and Impact
Tumblr media
Sharif's political life has been characterized by remarkable success and scandals. Major infrastructure projects and moves towards economic liberalization marked his rule. However, charges of corruption and battles with the military have also characterized much of his political career. He has led the PML-N through a good part of the country's political history for decades now.
Recent Developments
Tumblr media
As of December 2024, Nawaz Sharif continues to be a prominent Pakistani politician. His return from exile and acquittal by the courts in major cases of corruption has rejuvenated his political fortunes. As of now, the PML-N remains one of the major political forces within the country, with Nawaz Sharif playing an important role in its control and strategy.

The January wind was harsh as Dr. John Holmes went from the bus stop into the hospital. He was just going into work for the day at the E.R. but knew he had to talk to a doctor friend first, having gone back and forth on if he should or not after a morning of misery in the loo he decided he couldn't wait anymore.
There were already several patients in the waiting room and he gave them a wave as he entered. Heading back into the treatment rooms he found his co-worker, Dr. Jamal Stevens, finishing up an apple by the nurses station. Another couple of friends, Nurses Hedi Khan and Colleen McGuigan also stood there chatting.
“Morning all,” John said. He couldn't help eyeing the apple in Jamal's hand and the horrible queasy feeling came into his stomach again.
“Morning John. We are privileged to have not clocked in yet,” Hedi chuckled, her sleek ponytail bounced.
“Well, can I ask a favor? Would you check me out? I've been sick on and off for a while,” John admitted. He ran his hand over the top of the station, he was a little nervous to finally talk about it.
Jamal straightened up and tossed his apple core in the trash. “Sure. What's been going on?” He asked.
John followed him into an exam room where he watched Jamal wash his hands and then put on some gloves; John sat down on the bed.
“I have been so nauseous and vomiting, fatigued and tired. Of course with work it's hard to say if fatigue and tiredness are symptoms, but the vomiting is getting to me. It's not everyday but this morning was awful and I just need to figure out what is wrong,” John said. He watched as Jamal took out his stethoscope and hooked it on his neck.
“Have you been getting your monthly?” Jamal asked. He listened to John's heart after asking.
John opened his mouth and then closed it, head turning as he thought. “I um…I don't know. With the holidays and work and Sherlock I really don't know,” he admitted.
“Well just based on that and knowing that you're a newly wed still I tend to think it might be pregnancy. But you lay back there and we will do some labs and see what they tell us, I'll also order an ultrasound and we can check that too,” Jamal said. He took up his tablet and began typing things up to send out the orders.
“Oh well…” John started to protest but thinking about it he had to agree that it was possible he could be pregnant.
“Lay back there and be a good patient, doctor. I'll send Hedi in for BP and to take your blood,” Jamal said. He waited for John to obey before leaving the room.
John lay there looking up at the ceiling with his heart pounding from nervous excitement, he hoped it would be pregnancy, that would certainly make him happy.
Hedi came in and followed the doctor's orders, and not too long after that the ultrasound machine was brought in and Colleen manned it, putting the cold gel on his lower belly and running the wand through it.
“Is that a heartbeat?” John asked, looking at the screen. He had done a few ultrasounds in med school but none since then.
Colleen grinned at him. “Yes it is! Would you like to hear it?”
John smiled and gave a laugh. “Yes!” He said, with a fast beating heart.
Colleen turned on a switch and the rhythmic sound of a heartbeat that was not John's own came through. His immediate response was to put a hand on his stomach above the ultrasound wand.
“Looks like you're about ten weeks, the heartbeat is good and strong. We will wait and see about your blood work but everything seems to be fine,” Colleen said. She withdrew the wand and wiped his belly off.
“Thank you! I am just…I am so happy and surprised I don't know what to say,” John said. He laid his head back against the pillow to start processing everything.
Colleen patted his leg. “Congratulations, papa!” She said.
As he lay there waiting for the lab results his mind turned to his husband, Sherlock had taken a case in India and had been gone since the week after Christmas. John had wanted to go with him but Sherlock had refused, saying he couldn't him yet he also didn't exactly say what the case was which had been a worry for John. Their commutation had been sparse and short, only a text a week for the past three weeks and always from a different number, only the words let him know it was Sherlock.
The one thing his husband had told him was that if he needed anything to contact Mycroft, and after getting this news he felt like he should indeed call his brother-in-law. Soon enough Jamal came back in with his lab results, breaking into his thoughts.
“Well, your diagnosis is that you are ten weeks pregnant and you are suffering from nausea and vomiting of pregnancy, or morning sickness. But your labs look great, you need to set up an appointment with the OBGYN soon as you can but other than that you are free to start your shift,” Jamal smiled.
“Thank you. Thank you so much,” John said. He sat up on the side of the bed and they shook hands.
“Just one question- is it Sherlock's?” Jamal grinned.
“Of course it's Sherlock's!” John said, smiling at Jamal's wink.
Leaving the exam room he did get right to work, though with every idle moment his thoughts turned to the new life growing inside him and just how he was going to tell his husband.
