I’m the anon that sent all those Patreon leaks to lemoncritiques months ago. I’m no longer a patron but I still have tons of info from past QnAs, this isn’t everything so let me know if you’d like me to send more.
Note: These answers are pre-season 2 so it could be dated with whatever Vivzie’s has said after mid-2022 (the time of my latest screenshots) I’ll try and give info I wasn’t interested in giving Lemon but it could be a lot of repeats.
-Vivzie didn’t mention Mammon’s design to be a middle finger (from what I know) she only mentioned being worried about the reception fans will have towards him since he’s not the usual skinny pretty boy designs she makes.
-Certain demons are allowed to interact with the Earth realm, imps aren’t one of them.
-Millie and Loona are confirmed by Vivzie to be straight much to the disappointment of Sam, Adam mentioned they’re as straight as LGBTQ+ writers can make them.
-Stolas has 71 half siblings in reference to the lesser keys of Solomon, it’s unknown if Andrealphus is one of them but with that amount Vivzie might only show some of them.
-Vivzie is still interested in making her SVA thesis short Timber a full series, and plans for it to be an all age adventure fantasy.
-HB cast ages: Blitz 34, Stolas 36, Loona 23, M&M both 31, Vivzie changed them to be around those ages because she keeps forgetting them she’s answered this more than once with slightly different answers, M&M are now in their late 20s.
-Vivzie is fine with and even loves fan HH/HB merch, but believes the other studios involved (A24, Bento, or SharkRobot, she was vague) might not because of sale competition.
-Vivzie saids we’ll see how Stolas’s status influences his views of other demons and wouldn’t treat his imp butlers either good or bad. This was said before he’s seen using one as a stress ball.
-Vivzie didn’t really think of how Stolas knew IMP was in trouble in the DHORK episode and likes to imagine he has an innate ability to sense if something’s wrong. She won’t go back to explain how he knows.
-She’s interested in incorporating elements of other religion’s Hell into her own, but not a full on inclusion.
-She’s most excited between Stolas and Blitz’s arcs in the show and admits the arcs intersects a lot. Her personal favorite arc to write is Stolas’s.
-Blitz’s trip in the DHORK episode were about his relationships and how they stem from one insecurity he has which will be revealed later.
-Most challenging character to animate that Vivzie could talk about at the time was Angel Dust, I’m sure she would have mentioned Bee if that episode was out during this.
-Full quote “Viv’s ADHD enables her to bounce around between things a lot, it’s been a blessing because she can bounce between the shows if she gets tired of either. Sometimes it gets overwhelming, causing her to lose focus, and losing sleep, but it’s working in the end”
-Vivzie didn’t know model sheets weren’t being posted on Patreon when someone asked about Mrs.Mayberry’s, I have no idea if they’ve even bothered to post any.
-She was keeping Stolas and Stella’s divorce a secret due to spoilers.
-Originally, season 2 was going to premiere a week after episode 8 came out because she wasn’t sure if fans would be satisfied with the finale with the wait time, I saved that ask on May 22nd, 2022. She vaguely mentioned there was a bit of legal trouble regarding episode 8 that she can’t talk about but will become apparent when it’s released (We now know it was the Kesha stuff)
-High class/low class demon relationships are very controversial because Hell has a strict power hierarchy. There are some lower level demons that are acceptable to be with a higher class demon. But Imps and Hellhounds are on the very bottom of the hierarchy and are not favorably viewed. (This ask was pre-Episode 8)
-Full quote again. Question: Would you have any advice for artists who are working on multiple projects at the same time?
Answer: “It's really fucking hard, she's never worked so hard in her life. She admits she's dropped the ball several times. But she finds that the solution to that is to simply get help from other people. Find people you trust and train them on what they need to do.
If it's a smaller scale thing and/or you don't have any body to help, then just take things slowly and do things one at a time because you will absolutely stress yourself out and cause a lot of problems with things not getting done on time.
She has also had issues with things not going the way she wanted because she's not in charge, but ultimately, you gotta trust others.”
-Octavia is on decent terms with Andrealphus.
-Sinners physically cannot go into other rings, Vivzie imagines they can’t even enter the 666 elevator building.
-All hellborns have a “feral” form to themselves.
-Blitz will sing in season 2 (We learned from leaks)
-God will not show up in Vivzie’s shows, she personally doesn’t feel comfortable depicting him.
-She enjoys writing at home because she can be as loud as she wants to be. But ever since her and Adam moved in together they haven’t have any writing sessions with each other. While writing HB season 1, her and Brandon would go to diners and café for their sessions.
-She loves how her antagonists are relatable and can be understood beyond what she’s shown the audience so far and mentions they won’t be one note, one dimensional like with Stella. “Sure, she’s super angry and bitchy, but st the same time, she’s still seen some awful things, and deserves some sympathy” (This was pre-Circus)
-All that Vivzie would like to say is she doesn’t talk to Ashley, Dave or Kovach a lot.
-She hasn’t worked on Zoophobia in awhile but thinks of going back to it to redefine some things in the future.
-There’s a limited number of overlords, there was a comic in the works about how overlords are picked through a “very fun” event that happens to sinners but due to story changes they’ll have to redo it. Don’t know if it was scrapped entirely.
-Stella would still be mad if Stolas cheated on her with another goetia or of higher status but less so than with an imp.
-Vivzie imagines the grimoire can be damaged but not easily.
-Adam has written in an autistic character for season 2, no clue if we’ve already seen them or not.
-Most of season 2 will have a single target to take out on IMP’s missions.
-She wants to leave the status of Blitz and Fizz’s past relationship open for now, we might see it in the next episode as of sending this.
-That clown symbol we see in Loo Loo Land is confirmed to be RoboFizz and not Mammon.
-Vivzie can’t answer if Heaven, Hell or Earth is the most dangerous realm.
-Full quote: Question- “When did she decide to make Helluva its own spin off?
Answer- “She decided within the last year of making the pilot. Without Helluva, Hazbin wouldn't exist, and vice versa. They helped the studio, the crew, and Viv, giving her experience to produce professionally.
Helluva also came to be because she was watching a lot of Brandon Roger's stuff while working on Hazbin, and so she decided to reach out to people he works with and pitch her project to him. And he accepted it, and the rest is history! She was shocked that Brandon Rogers accepted her pitch incredibly fast, asking to write with her immediately after accepting her pitch.
Brandon wrote the outline, and the jokes. But it was up to Viv to finish the rest. It was the first time she worked with someone who had a decent amount of writing experience; the people she wrote the Hazbin pilot with were all novice writers, including Viv herself.
Another unique thing about Helluva was that she got a bunch of animators for it early on because there was this mass resignation of animators from a bad project, so she was able to pick them up. Those helluva animators also enabled the hazbin pilot to be finished!”
-HH will not feature purgatory and will only deal with heaven and hell’s relationship, while HB is exclusively about the seven sins and hellborns. Vivzie has an idea for a third show involving heaven and earth’s relationship featuring purgatory but doesn’t know when she’ll start development on it, it’s something she’d further develop once HH and HB are done.
-A lot of broadway actors are involved with HH and HB and Vivzie is generally trying to cast people involved with broadway and theatre. She’s aware she was only able to get people like Alex Brightman thanks to the pandemic. There’s mention of a non broadway VA in Vivzie and Brandon’s view is a pretty big figure voicing in season 2.
-Cherubs will return, along with a lot of other season 1 characters like Verosika and Sallie May will be involved in one season 2 episode, She’ll have a bigger role in far future.
-Goetia from the lesser keys like Stolas, Paimon and Andrealphus are considered higher rank, original characters like Stella and Octavia are lower rank but still considered “royalty”
-Stella is confirmed to be a swan
-Stolas is confirmed to be a barn owl (I think it’s the same species Vivzie has taxidermed)
-Hell has an army but haven’t been needed to do anything, Vivzie saids they just have one because a it’s normal thing.
-As of right now, the sins are only set to appear to HB with Lucifer only set for HH, it may change in the future.
-There’s no connection between HH and HB other than they take place in the same universe. HH’s narrative is more on what’s good and evil and what makes people become good or bad and heaven and hell. HB is just about hellborn and hellborn society and the business that goes on in hell, but like the Office, it’s more about the people involved in the business than the business itself.
-Travel time between rings depend on where they go like a plane ride but it wouldn’t take too long.
-Vivzie tried to give Fizz and Oz masc and femme energies since they’re going to be seen together a lot.
-Hellborn lifespans vary between species, imps and hellhounds have similar lifespan which is why they’re paired together. Succubi and incubi are slightly longer than imps and demons like dealmakers are almost immortal. Higher up you get the harder it is for someone to die.
-Angel dust still has his third pair of arms
-Angel dust is Vivzie’s favorite HH character to write (shocking)
-We won’t see how M&M met til further along the show, there’s no confirmation if it’ll be in season 2.
-RoboFizz are considered a high-end product in hell.
-we’ll see more of Verosika’s claim to fame later.
-Vivzie’s favorite episode to write in season 1 was episode 7 because it was her first one to write solo. She also likes episode 6 calling it a penultimate episode for season 1.
Well, first of all, thank you for all of this, Anon! Second of all, where to even begin?
I just can't get over how all the glimmers of the show's writing improving in season 2 (focusing more on the targets I.M.P. takes out, Stella being shown in a sympathetic light, etc.) didn't even happen. And the fact that Vivzie got her first round of animators by snatching them up from a bad project, and brags about that, knowing what we know now about Spindlehorse's working environment.
Also "masc and femme energy." Jesus Christ, Vivzie.
It's a mess. It's just such a tangled, poorly planned mess.

Why Bulk Peppermint Oil is Perfect for Small-Batch and Large-Scale Production
Essential oils are very useful, and bulk peppermint oil is one of the most popular, and useful ones in the massage, health, and skin care industries. Bulk peppermint oil is the best option whether you're a small business making one-of-a-kind items or a big company needing a lot for mass production. It has many benefits that make it the best choice. It is used in many different fields because it has a unique smell, can help with health problems, and can be used in many other ways. Cost-Effectiveness for Small-Batch and Large-Scale Production This is one of the main reasons why bulk peppermint oil is great for both small and large production: it's cheap. When you buy peppermint oil in bulk instead of smaller amounts, you save a lot of money per unit. Whether you're making natural healthcare and wellness products, buying in bulk lowers the cost per unit. This helps both small businesses and big makers make the most money possible. When you buy in bulk, you don't have to pay the price that comes with selling smaller bottles. You can then either pass the savings on to your customers or include them in the cost of making your product.
For people who make things in small amounts, this means they can make good items without hurting their bottom line. Businesses with more products can set prices, that are the same for all of them. This makes it easier to plan production runs and set prices for finished goods that are competitive in the market.
Versatility and Flexibility for Product Development
Because it can be used in so many different ways, bulk peppermint oil is great for both small and big production. Many natural health care and wellness products, and even food, call for peppermint oil. Customers, choose it mostly because it smells fantastic and wakes you up; it also helps with problems like headaches and sleep.
For small-batch makers, extra peppermint oil gives them the freedom to try out different products, and formulas. If you're making lotions, lip balms, or mixes of essential oils with peppermint, buying in bulk lets you test and improve your goods. You can quickly change the amounts, and ingredients to meet customer needs, or add new lines of products.
Large-scale makers can make sure, they always have peppermint oil on hand by buying it in bulk. This lets them increase production without lowering the quality or amount of peppermint oil in their products. Whether you're making thousands of units for a new product launch or just keeping a quantity on hand, bulk peppermint oil speeds up the production process and makes sure that every product is of high quality.
Consistent Quality and Supply
One of the best things about buying peppermint oil in bulk from a reputable seller is that the quality and quantity are always the same. When companies purchase large quantities of peppermint oil from a reliable supplier, they are certain of the quality of their raw supplies. Purchasing in bulk guarantees that, regardless of your little or large scale manufacturing, you will always have peppermint oil.
If companies purchase from a reputable supplier like SVA, they may get premium peppermint oil that always satisfies their manufacturing criteria. This guarantees that the final result maintains its pleasant, calming, and effective scent, which is rather crucial for client satisfaction. You need a reliable supply line if you are to keep manufacturing running and satisfy consumer demands free from delays or disruptions.
Bulk peppermint oil provides companies which are wishing to differentiate their products, with the quality and quantity required to create excellent items. Working with SVA will get you access to premium bulk peppermint oil from trustworthy suppliers. Whether you're creating a few things or a lot for a major launch, SVA's bulk peppermint oil is the ideal option to ensure you obtain premium goods at reasonable pricing.
SVA has peppermint oil in bulk available here. Additionally available for your manufacturing process are various premium essential oils and natural additives.

Note
I find it so disappointing that people automatically assume that Vivienne Medrano is a professional because she went to art school, or SVA to be exact. During her time there, her sketchbooks were generally praised for being so full of motion and for the speed in which she could work, and she could create assignment animations with the help of other students, but there was always something limited in her abilities. The truth is, not everyone who A. can draw and B. goes to art school is necessarily cut out for a career in animation. Vivienne had real trouble being rejected from studios because she’s never been able to master the overall basics of a career in that field. Her portfolio is full of busy, repetitive and difficult character design, mis-balanced colour theory and flawed anatomical sense. I suppose what I’m saying is that art school is fun and provides the right focus to the people who have the right skill set. But, people like Vivienne… they just get lucky thanks to the Internet. Thank goodness for her that A24 were interested enough to give Hazbin Hotel a chance, thanks to the cobbled-together pilot. One can only hope that people who do have actual skill have been brought in to work on it (and write for it), to save Vivienne from future embarrassment.
Wow, I even have nothing to add. Brilliantly said. I'll just publish it here so everyone could see that. This is basically all I can say about Vivzie as an artist. Talented, but limited.

hey so do you like SVA??? i was just accepted for BFA comics/cartooning and i’d love to hear ur opinion b4 i officially commit!
Pros: 95% of the professors are working professionals in the industry. (For example, my applied cartooning class is taught by the executive editor of Avatar Studios, Joan Hilty.) so they have up to date insider info and they can slip your name into job conversations if they like you.
The student pool is diverse, extremely talented and passionate. There are tons of after school clubs and events where you can meet up and make friends and collaborate.
Plus there are things like Ink Magazine, where you can submit your own comics or illustrations each semester, as well as student showcases and even mini artist alley cons. It's great practice for applying the skills that you're learning in class.
There's student job boards with leads on employment opportunities, a pretty cool print lab, a wide variety of available classes (illustration and comics majors overlap alot) and the atmosphere is very creatively open in most cases, but there are a few assholes to look out for. Which brings me to...
Cons: while the school seems to be trying to address it in recent years, there have been a lot of stories about some of the department heads being dicks about art style. Honestly, this is a risk at any art school. The trick is to make sure the feedback your getting is about the techniques you can use to achieve the look YOU are going for. Take what helps, leave what doesn't.
The school is expensive. The books are expensive. NYC is EXPENSIVE. Keep your budget in mind when making your decision, because for all I've learned at this school, (and I learned a LOT) I can't confidently say that I couldn't have improved at a cheaper school. Plus, you don't actually need a degree to be any kind of artist. Art school is more about making connections and building a strong portfolio than anything else. If you think you can do that online, don't put yourself in debt to do it in a school.
The workload is KILLER, especially in the comics program. The studio classes expect you to be able to complete 1-2 pages of comics a day, and every professor treats their hw as the most important assignment on your plate. You will be forced to improve by the sheer amount of drawing youll be doing on a daily basis. And breaks are shorter than at other schools, so less time to recharge(my guess is so they can make the summer last as long as possible to save money on the professors).
I know that might sound like a fun challenge at first, but it really wears on you. Burnout is a bitch, and its a VERY difficult place to pull yourself out of while still enjoying the thing that put you there in the first place. Do what you can not to push yourself too hard, but remember to seize opportunities to show what you got.
All in all, I've had both good and bad experiences with SVA. I've made better work here than I could've ever imagined, and I've learned so much more about comics and storytelling. The professors know what you can expect after you graduate, and they want to see you succeed. People say this alot, but you get out what you put in with this place. Stay open minded, and remember what you're trying to do.

Star Trektrospective:Star Trek IV the Voyage Home
Next on our look at the Star Trek movies ,one of the most sucessful Trek films until the 2009 reboot
Plot : James Kirk (William Shatner ) and his crew are in trouble but when Earth is threatened by a probe, using a Klingon Bird of Prey ,Kirk and co go back in time to retrieve the only species that can communicate with the probe :Humpback whales
So I have grown to really enjoy this film ,I honestly think it is a very enjoyable romp, and is one of the best films in the series .....Which is weird for me ,cause by all accounts, I should despise this film ,cause on paper it sound unappealing to me:A time travel heist comedy and well 1.I am not a heist film guy 2.Humor in Trek has always been a mixed bag 3.I watch Star Trek to see people in the future doing future stuff 4. I find fish out of water humor grating ....Which just shows how good this movie is ,and really that most premises can work if executed well
However before I praise the movie,I nedd to point out the one thing that doesnt work .....And also preface it by saying this :I am a big beliver in "Suspension of disbelief " ,I dont really need explinations for every little thing ......That said I think the probe, which is the main antagonist of the movie is kind of too absurd even for me . Its a big tube that will destroy the eath unless it hears some whales .Now it intentionally mysterious ,and I get the practical angle :The movie isnt about the probe, its about saving the whales, and the probe is just a way to get the plot moving ,give a sense of danger......But on the other hand it is so vague ,I cant help but ask question that I know dont really matter. Also it makes the moral kind of odd when you think about it : Save the whales or a tube will kill us all .However the probe doesnt matter that much ,and the rest of the film is so good it doesnt bother me
But lets get into stuff I like ,which includes the message of svaing the whales.Director Leonard Nimoy clearly cared about this topic and used the film to spotlight the issue in an entertaining way
Now Leonard Nimoys strength as a director is really his sense of fun and character which is to say this film works because the characters work . Somethiung my good friend @metropolitan-mutant-of-ark pointed out is our heroes are super confident,so ya never feel embarassed watching them even when they are the fool .I also like that they are trying to blend in enough ,but its not that much of a priority ,so they arent over the top wacky but the right amount of odd to be funny .Also like that the film doesnt go for the cheap joke :Checkov iscaught by American military during the cold war.....But they dont dismiss him as a Soviet spy and instead think he is just a crazy guy(Well actually they use another term that hasnt aged well ).Also no worrying about "Changing the timeline" ,when they give the formula for a groundbreaking invention to a guy in exchange for some help ,they just dismiss their worries as "Eh maybe this guy invented it " ,that is so refreshing .Also the film is just funny, from Spock and Kirk meeting a punk to Bones balking at 20th century medicine
LEts get into the cast :Veteren actor Robert Ellenstein is pretty excellent as the Federation Council president .WE also have the always great Brock Peters lending a sense of authority to the character of Admiral Cartwright ,though sadly he is mostly an expositionary character here, though in Star Trek 6 his role is a bit meatier .Our main guest character of the movie is Gillian Taylor played by the very talented Catharine Hicks ,a whale biologist who looks after two whales ,George and Gracie ,who becomes an allie to Kirk, and has a cute semi romance with him though it doesnt go anywhere and honestly thats kind of refreshing .I think Hicks does an excellent job,I like that she realizes something is off about Kirk and Spock....And when Kirk tells her he is from the future.....She isnt pissed off or calling him crazy,,,,,She is more just amused ,like she still doesnt believe him but she is like"OK now I am just intrigued wherte this is gonna go ".My favorite character however is the Klingon Ambassador played by John Shuck ....Oh god I LOVE this lunatic ,John Shuck is giving it his all as this ranting and raving ambassador who wants Ki9rks head. When I first saw this and the way Shuck performed it ,I thought he was the villain .....But no he is just some guy ,and I love that .The Klingon Ambassador is so over the top I love him ,hes in his own movie and I am so glad he came back in Star Trek 6
We also have Robin Curtis returning as Saavik ....Only to leave the franchise forever.Jane Wyatt returns as Spocks mother Amanda from the original series in a solid scene, but of the returning guest stars the best is Mark Lenard as Sarek,Spocks father, who gets a strong opening scene standing up to the Klingon ambassador ,and a sweet scene with Spock
What really makes the film work is the main cast .Nimoy has worked with these guys for years ,knows their strengths and uses them to their best abilities .The one who gets the short end sadly is George Tekai ,but that was due more to bad luck of his sub plot falling apart .Nichelle Nichols and Deforest Kelley are good as always ,but I think the scene stealers are Waler Koning (Who gets the funniest scene where he is asking random people on the street where the Nuclear Vessels are ) and James Doohan ( Who pretends to be a brilliant professor in order to get free plexi glass and ya get to see him hanging out with Bones which is fun ).Spock gets a good ark as he isnt all himself due to his resurrection and gets back in touch with his human side .I also think this might be William Shatners best performance in the Trek movies, not his boldest or most dramtic ,but he has such a gift for comedy and the dinner scene between him in Catharine Hicks is so excellent
One minor thing I like about the film is the federation scenes ,I like seeing the various aliens and creatures that are apart of the federation,it really gives the feeling of multiple worlds joined together
I also think this is the Trek film with the most impressive special effect:The whales! The film does NOT use real whale, they are mechanical ,and I had no clue they were till last year
OVerall this is a cozy film, the Trek film to watch when you just wanna have fun

Brief Dabble
Based on prompt: Imagine teaching your f/o about one of your interests, or how to do one of your hobbies. (But I reversed it)
Fennorian examined the computer with a look of awe and confusion. His hands ran gently over the keys as if a harder touch would instantly break it. <<And you can access information with this device?>> he questioned, uncertain of how he should proceed.
<<Yeah just type in like… surface gravity on Mars and you’ll get all the scientific stats.>> Sva replied as the young vampire turned to her looking even more confused.
<<Surface gravity on Mars?>> he parroted and Sva realized that his astronomy was much different than theirs.
<<Well see, unlike how Nirn has two moons and the sun is apparently a hole to Aetherius, we have a burning hot star comprised of hydrogen and helium. The nine other planets in the solar system also have their own conditions based on how close they are to the sun, their size, and if they have an atmosphere or magnetic field…” Sva trailed off shaking their head as they moved towards the computer and typed in a question.
<<What is the sun made of?>> they said aloud as they typed before hitting the enter key and smiling as the page lit up with numerous pages and information. Clicking on the first result from NASA they showed Fennorian all the relevant information. <<See, it lists all the known information that we have about our star — which is not a hole to another plane of existence — it even talks about its orbit and rotation. Astronomy is interesting, but way too many numbers and mathematical bits for me to be able to delve too deep.>>
They looked over at Fennorian looked over all the information with wide eyes. <<This is incredible!>> he said excitedly. <<So much information and it’s so easy to find! You have no idea how many late nights of pouring through old tomes this would have saved me.>>
Sva laughed at the vampire’s amazement. <<I keep forgetting that despite all your worlds magic you don’t have access to stuff like this.>>
<<If we ever did, I think the Dwemer were the ones to come closest. Even us Altmer, in all of our pride, lack technology such as this.>> He turned with bright red eyes. <<Do you think I could learn more about this?>> he asked gesturing to the solar information.
Sva smiled as the perfect series came to mind. <<If you want to learn more about astronomy I know the perfect thing to watch.>>
Later that night, Fennorian could be found sat cross-legged on the bed with a notebook in hand as The Cosmos played on the TV. Well practiced hands scribbled down information quickly, and every now and then he would reach up to push locks of stray dark hair away from his face. While Sva tried to focus on the documentaries series, they found themself too often distracted by the studious vampire perched in front of them. With every interesting fact, he’d hum and make a note, so enraptured that he’d lost track of his surroundings. After a while of watching, a soft chuckle left Sva’s lips as Fenn gasped at the implications of black holes. This small noise drew him out of his trance for a moment and he quickly turned and cocked his head. <<Spaghettification sounds horrifying I…>> he trailed off with a slightly confused smile. <<What’s funny?>>
<<You’re just adorable, that’s all.>> They responded smiling back. <<And prettier than any celestial wonder.>>
A slight blush crept over Fennorian’s face, a side effect of having eaten so late. Tucking another stray strand of hair behind his ear he smiled shyly, <<You’re too kind…>> he placed his notebook off to the side and turned to properly face Sva, a cool hand reaching over to touch their face. After a brief moment, he leaned closer, his lips ghosting over Sva’s. <<You always know just what to say…>>
<<I’m just telling the truth, it’s not my fault you’re so precious.>> Sva half-whispered back. Fennorian hummed, the corners of his lips turned up in a smirk as he closed what little distance remained with a chaste and teasing kiss.
As the documentary continued playing in the background, momentarily forgotten, the two lovers took the opportunity to explore the intimate beauty of each other.

One shot prompt, if you please: first time at the beach/lake(/body of water lol) for Tyrus, with background Muffy and Ambi
The Summer of 1987
Part of the 1986 universe because I could.
EDIT: Also I just realised I got carried away and forgot about Muffy and Ambi, so I will probably do another version of this prompt involving them
TJ stared out at the water in awe. It was still early and the sun was just beginning to peek up over the edge of the horizon. They hadn’t gotten to the hotel until late the night before because the journey over had involved more gas station stops and wrong turns than intended, so they hadn’t even had a chance to explore the area before collapsing into their beds and falling sound asleep. The wait made it more worth it somehow. To see the beach for the first time like this, with the sky a blur of oranges and pinks cast across cotton clouds and the water lapping peacefully at his bare feet, his hand in Cyrus’. It felt nothing short of magical.
“I’m glad we did this,” Cyrus said, breaking the gentle silence with a pleased sigh.
TJ squeezed his hand. “Me too.”
They had left their friends snoozing in a heap back at the hotel and wandered down to the beachfront together. Despite the fact it was barely six in the morning the summer heat was already beginning to creep up on them, but TJ couldn’t find it in himself to complain. The streets were blissfully quiet, the peace only disturbed by the odd runner or two, leaving the boys feeling safe to walk with their fingers entwined. When they’d finally reached the sand TJ had kicked off his shoes and yelled ‘Race you!’ only for Cyrus to shriek incredulously and tear after him declaring him a cheat. It had ended with the two of them knocking into each other and falling winded into the sand. They had laid there watching the sky change colour with their chests pressed together until they were forced to get up by TJ’s arm going numb.
It almost felt like they were meant to be there. The dawn light cast a golden glow on Cyrus’ face. The ocean was reflected in his eyes, wide and full of wonder, and TJ couldn’t resist the urge to lean in and press a soft kiss to his lips. When he went to pull away, Cyrus twisted his free hand in the front of TJ’s sweater and pulled him back for another, soft and sweet.
It was moments like these that made TJ wonder if he really existed. Everything felt too perfect, too fragile for his big hands, like the delicacy of the moment might shatter with one wrong touch. He was so lucky to be here… to be with Cyrus. To be in love and be loved back and know at the end of the day he had someone nearby to hold his hand when he needed them to. He had never imagined he’d have this. Only a year ago he had been afraid for his life, angry at the world and everybody in it, sure that his future was that of a shallow grave. Only a year ago, he had met Cyrus and his world had changed for good.
And suddenly he had a future.
No more ghosts from his past left to chase him. No more starting fights or getting arrested or sneaking out. Just an uneven nose and the promise of more.
“I’ve never been to the beach before,” he said.
“Is it as good as you imagined?” Cyrus asked.
In two months, Cyrus and TJ would be heading to New York together to study at their respective colleges. They’d both been working all summer to save up for it. It hadn’t even occurred to TJ that university was a possibility for him until his guidance counsellor had brought it up and now he’d been accepted into SVA to study art. They had wanted him. Four entire years of doing nothing but what he loved, what he was good at and living with Cyrus in an admittedly somewhat neglected apartment. But the state of the apartment didn’t matter - he was happy to go anywhere as long as he had a roof over his head and Cyrus by his side. It was a dream.
“Better, I think,” he smiled and let Cyrus pull him in for another kiss.

Dear AD, i want to create loads of projects which are varied in their mediums of work, such as: Comics, Animation and a Video game. Is there any field of study (master degree wise) that can suit all these three together?
I think my first question would be: Why do you want a masters degree? This is assuming you have a bachelors degree already (or else you wouldn’t be qualified to apply for a masters). There’s only a few times a masters degree (in Art, we’re not talking about other field here, many other fields need masters degrees for certifications, etc):
—You have a lot of money lying around and want an excuse to take 1-2 years off and make personal work
—You want to become a high-level fine art gallery artist and want the contacts (and you have a lot of spare money lying around – you can also make those contacts on your own with a little more elbow grease)
—You want to teach at a traditional university or masters level (and in art you honestly don’t always need that. I don’t have a masters degree and I TEACH in a masters program - not an art masters program though, for the record)
—You have a non-art bachelors and want traditional art school training (and have a lot of money lying around)
—There is a specific masters program you want to do a targeted thing in a specific field or with a specific expert (and have a lot of money lying around) I’m talking about programs like SVA’s targeted design masters programs where you’re getting a mix of art and something else very specific.
I don’t know if you’re sensing a trend here...but masters programs are A LOT OF MONEY and time, and a masters in art...doesn’t get you anything you can’t get on your own. Want time to make personal work? Take the money you’re saving up for school and use it to take a year off working for pay. Want access to networking and connections? Use the money you would spend on traveling to professional conferences and taking seminars in the fields you want to get into. Want specific experts to teach you? I bet they are either giving intensives and seminars in sexy places like Italy and Spain that you can go to with a fraction of the money a masters costs.
This is ESPECIALLY true in the fields of comics, video games, and animation. All of these fields are merit (aka portfolio) based. Get to some conventions like Trojan Unicorn, Lightbox, IFCC, and CTN. Go to seminars like IMC. Take online classes like SmArt School. Spend your time building a portfolio. Make work, get it online, and show it to professionals in the field. At most, look at a school like Gnomon that’s targeted to a field like video games or Kubert for comics. Or find a professional in the field in your area and see if they need an apprentice or studio intern as a trade for teaching. I have a hard time imagining what a masters is going to give you that you can’t get better, faster, and cheaper with a little elbow grease and travel and googling.
Art is one of the last fields that you win a career by your portfolio over your resumé. A fantastic painter who makes connections on their own by spending a ton of time going to galleries is going to get more shows than a mediocre painter with a masters degree. Honestly in 99% of cases I’d say you’re better off taking the $ you would spend on a masters and designing your own mix of time for personal work, seminars, conventions, online mentorships, and atelier training.
I have a hard time recommending a bachelors from an art school anymore, forget a masters! It’s not worth putting yourself up to your eyeballs in debt for, there’s better ways!

looks at the tags and asks you about the gods
did i save both asks i got about the vmv gods so i could have more excuses to ramble about as many of them as i could?
yes. yes i did.
i love u hisame, ur art is amazing and u are amazing and yall should go give them some love bc they deserve it
today on the @vampire-mythoverse Gods' Mythos: the four fuckers who STARTED this mess
here's the picrew i used to create makda and oru! (note: a lot of the different tabs pertaining to the eyes part of this picrew have different features that go with different eye shapes/pupils/ect. it's very fun to figure out tho!)
on the left is Makda, the primordial God of Creation. they/them. they created Angaea and the angels. they're currently abducted by and fighting the primordial God of the Void, Uir, who's not pictured here. they're a bit of a selfish, stuck up prick, but in the uncaring way, so they're basically the worst. yes they have nine fox tails.
on the right is Oru, the primordial God of Destruction, and split from "The End.". it didn't make one of the three planes, but rather split from The End. to create itself and Eos. it uses and prefers it/its pronouns, but it honestly doesn't care what pronouns you use for it as long as they're not she/her, he/him, or they/them. it's a selfish little troublemaker as you should be able to tell from the cat features, actually has four arms instead of just two, and it oversees the despondence circle (the ninth circle) in Cirxia.
these last two picrews were actually made by @milqueandtoast! co's a fantastic artist and a wonderful person and yall should go follow co because cos skills and art are SO good
below is Elair, the primordial God of Life. they/them pronouns. they created Terra, and the three Gods of Purpose Sha, Sva, and Sar, not pictured here. Elair created the mortalfolk and the magus magic users (called Elairians), while Sha, Sva, and Sar created the rest of the magifolk (called Shvarites). they worked hard on creating Terra, and are currently all abducted and imprisoned by Uir, the same God Makda is fighting for their freedom. they're a very soft and loving God, and they'd absolutely love nothing more than to be back with them, but well, thanks Uir.
this is Eos, the primordial God of Sacrifice and the other split half of "The End.". it uses it/its as well, but unlike Oru, it has no preference for any pronouns and doesn't care which pronouns you use for it. it created Cirxia and all the original demons, and is also abducted by Uir. it's kind of hard to look at, but you should get the vague sense of spider, beast goat, and *SCREAMS-*.
honestly, the only one of these four that Uir didn't abduct was the God of Destruction, Oru, and Eos has an easy link to Oru. Because of them both being split halves of The End., Eos can actually pull itself out of Uir's imprisonment and to Oru's side any time it wants. the only reason it hasn't is because watching Makda fight Uir is hilariously fun, and it easily loses track of time.
but yeah! these four are the Godly Reason behind "why does the world exist" in VMV.

I turn boobs into trees and whales and oceans
Nuša Hernavs, Milica Mijajlović
Curated by Voždovačka galerija
Hosted by U10
In 1995, the 28-year-old Pamela Anderson wrote the following letter:
Dear PETA
I'm in a TV show called "Baywatch" and the press is obsessed with my personal life. I'd really like to divert some of the attention to things more important than my boobs or my boyfriends. Can we join forces? I've been an animal lover and a PETA member since I was a kid, sending in rolled up quarters, and I've always wanted to get more involved. Please use me.
Love,
Pamela Anderson
How much the world has changed since then is impossible to tell in descriptive terms.
We could make a graph measuring the CO2 and sea levels in 1995 and 2020, but numbers quickly get lost and insignificant and are easily forgotten.
What we can talk about in this exhibition text is how Pam was chased around and sought after long before Instagram, before the Kardashians and Paris Hilton. She was the top tabloid story at the time, having had a turbulent love life, a sex tape, a bomb body and a hep C diagnosis. The roles she had in various films and series all indicated that she was, on and off screen, basically the same person - a hot blonde.
But Pam knew that all attention can be used and diverted, and she did to her stories what her paparazzi had done to her. Selflessly, at the center of everyone’s interest, she applied the method of self-exploitation. She surrendered willingly, so that in the end, nobody could conquer her. She surrendered her body to the world, on her own terms. The terms were that, while her pictures, stories, boobs, hair, tats and love interests circulated the Internet and press, she would be talking about the stuff she cared about, which was: save the planet.
People used to make fun of Miss World laureates whose biggest wish in life was world peace. Is this really that funny? Is it funny because it’s said by a beautiful woman, or is it funny because it sounds impossible? Or does it sound impossible because it is being wished for by a beautiful woman?
Now that we speak of the world ending in numbers and graphs and units of time, and not in abstract terms anymore, we might need to lend our own bodies to accomplish a new awareness. And now that so many bodies are gorgeous and erotic, naked and blunt everywhere, and every day online, maybe there’s nothing else left for us to think about than the world itself, world peace, world survival, trees, oceans and whales. There might be more boobs than whales in the world anyway, but we’re not here to talk about numbers. There’s no time, the world is sinking.

Sa 28 godina, 1995. godine, Pamela Anderson je napisala sledeće pismo:
Draga PETA,
Molim Vas, iskoristite me.
S ljubavlju,
Pamela Anderson
Nemamo vremena, svet tone.
