SURPRISE IT'S A SWAP AU!!!
...kinda. These are their initial designs at the start of the series. So... Their pilot designs!
As always, rambling below the cut (as well as the cast in ep 2).
I love Dead Lmao. They're my favorite character.
AU PREMISE:
Swap AU but N, V, and J go to a private school. And the disassembly drones are vaguely bug themed.
UNORGANIZED THOUGHTS:
šŗ The private school Nexus, Virtue, and Julie go to has a very strict dress code. They enforce bleached hair, white eyes, a headband with their number on it, and a monochrome uniform. The only exception being that accessories can be any color.
šŗ NVJ are all orphans, and their school also doubles as an orphanage.
šŗ I'm gonna explain it in each of their solos, but I swear I have a reason for Virtue and Nexus' goofy ahh names LMAO.
šŗ Elliott manor and Tessa still exist, buuut things go a bit differently.
šŗ Not completely sure what Nori, Khan, and Yeva's roles will be atm, but they're going to be senior WDs at Elliott Manor.
šŗ You can probably guess who the solver's host is based on the color, right?
šŗ This is a swap au, but certain roles will remain the same (for example: J dying. Get blasted, idiot.)
šŗ Lizzy and Thad (called L and T in this AU) are the other two Disassembly Drones alongside Z.
šŗ Cyn, Tessa, L and T are probably gonna come up in the next lineup. Giggle =}
The rest of the info (mostly the character design-specific ones) will come up as I post their solos + doodles.
SOLOS:
JULIE SOLO: šļø
VIRTUE SOLO: š
NEXUS SOLO: š¾
COMICS:
(mostly shitposts atm)
"Doll's gonna massacre the gala!", "Pocket-sized bug", "Girl just pick a damn outfit", "You will surely not regret eating: 50 slices of cheese"
CONCEPT STUFF:
Julie Doe, Spooky Z, DD Uzi, The Cylly, Disassembly Drone Diagram, Info Dumping

[Click for Better Quality]
[Likes and Reblogs are appreciated!]
so Iām allowed to make a MD human AUā¦right?
RIGHT!
I wanted to get back into drawing some human characters and I wanted to do some studies of N as a human at the same time, the result- these awesome drawings š¤
Basically some small information about the human versions of them:
- When a ādroneā becomes ādeadā or is disposed of incorrectly and the solver takes control, their skin becomes paler then when before they were disassembled. CYN used to have a similar skin color to N, but dying can in factā¦make you a bit pale.
- When N, J and V become Murder Drones, their skin also mirrors this quality.
- Due to the nanites in their bodies, their eyes glow, and their headbands and tails are connected to their spines. Their ears have also mutated to be more large and sensitive due to CYNS modifications on them, helping them in their hunts trying to wipe out the ādronesā beneath them.
-When they bleed, the Murder Drones blood is neon, matching their headband bulb color and tail color, instead of gray, due to them you knowā¦not being filled with oil and blood instead.
- Their scars tend to glow neon yellow as well when they are in their Feral Murder Modes, due to the scars skin being thinner than their normal skin.
- The scars they have received were mostly given to them in Elliot Manor from Tessaās parents, except for Nās neck scars resulting from all the times his head has been lobbed off by J and V.
- CYNs left eye was stabbed by a fork by James Elliot before her death, making her permanently blind in it and sporting a not so pretty scar she tends to be self conscious about until the solver takes over her entirely.
- Nās face scar was given to him by Louisa one day while protecting CYN when the others werenāt around, by throwing a glass at his face. And of course, he still had to clean it up while injured. š¤ Most of his scars come from protecting the ones he loves, such as V, Tessa and CYN.
- N used to have hazel eyes and light brown hair before he died and got his warm yellow Murder Drone color, pale skin and sandy brown hair. Out of his squad, Nās neon yellow is the most warmest color, leaning towards more orange than yellow.
- N also has stretch marks around his shoulders, torso, belly and legs, from where his growth process and body modifications were moreā¦painful.
- P.S this is my first time drawing CYN! I have to draw her drone form!! Sheās so fun to draw!šš
- I will be doing studyās of human V, J and Uzi!! Iām working on Uzis as I type this!!!
I hope you enjoyed this little practice of mine, more art coming soon! Iām also so glad you are enjoying my new chapter of my Absolutely Fanfic on Archive of Our Own! And for those who donāt know what that is, you can read it below!!!

Tessa fucks me up dude can I just talk about her for a sec? Yeah? Yeah.
She loved those drones. She loved them because they were what she had. She felt sympathy for them when nobody else did. And I like to think there was a little bit of loneliness motivating her as well.
Her mother hated her. She was nothing to her. When her mother scolded her by saying "seems you still can't follow simple orders" her respone was "No, no no! Please!" BEGGING. Begging her mother to believe in her and be kind to her. She got chained up in her room (multiple times btw. At leas tthats implied. the hand she winced at and rubbed is the same hand the chain was on, which means shed be chained up long enough for it to rub her skin painfully. long enough to leave lasting pain.)
She is very connected to these drones, to the point where she kept all the error drones aroud because she LOVED them. She spent time digging them up. HELL SHE TOOK A FAMILY PHOTO WITH THEM DUDE...
Even when Cyn was creepy and scary, she kept her around. She'd rather lock Cyn up than get rid of her. and when n points it out, shes apologetic and hesitant. But we know WHY she did that. Even if it was kind of a sucky move, it was because she didnt wanna have to throw cyn out. and in the end that killed her.
Also she knows J well enough to know what sets her off (enough to. bite the shit out of a chain). She knows them. and she loves them.
I wish we'd gotten to know more about her an N. why is he so clearly her favorite? but thats not relevant ig
also her saying "I've only ever yakked to robots, J!" She has NO human friends. she has nobody to support her other than these robots. these robots who get treated like garbage by her family.
and then she has to watch these robots turn on her. Not just THESE ROBOTS but the three that she loved most. (also im going off what wouldve happened in ep 5 WITHOUT uzi, where n doesnt get out of the swamp, and nobody goes down to the basement)
V first, then Cyn, then J. And we KNOW she loved these three+N especially bc she took a family photo w them, interacted with them more often, and generally just seemed much closer with them.
and what does she get for it? killed. And also its implied by this screenshot that she wasnt ACTUALLY killed by cyn right then
(the scientists, the sword beside her, the footprints, the way shes sitting against the wall, the expression she has. she totally just saw all that shit)
and she cant have been skyn bc the scientists wouldve known. the skinsuit wasnt exactly. hm. pretty.
which means she DID see her whole family+more slaughtered in front of her while she was powerless to stop it. She DID see J violently kill everyone around her. She DID see Cyn kill everyone. And she just has to. Deal with that. And despite all her efforts, the solver took over and cyn killed her. (im assuming tessa died somewhere around when n's mineshaft flashback was like i mentioned b4)
and all the while she was convinced shed lose N, id assume. based on the state of the other drone out there.
And honestly, i think what she got was worse.
also i am team "N knew Tessa wasn't the same Tessa he knew back on Earth"
The way he looked at her, and the way he was suspicious of her. He knew HIS Tessa would never treat a drone like this. Cyn has been known to have relatively shitty recreations of people at times (like Thad in episode two) But even so there was no way he could believe it was someone else (like. who would it be? he saw her blood he heard her voice like...) which is why he was so stressed after killing her (when he leaned on his sword and was breathing heavy, yk?)
he loved her and she loved him and now shes dead. just like everyone else he loved.
this isnt about n but like. idk if tessa could see him now i think shed cry. she loved him and all of them
#tzu rambles#i just. she was a kid dude#she was a stupid hurting abused kid#she was treated like shit by her mother and probably her father too#and all she had were those drones#the ones that killed her and her family#the ones that ruined her life and destroyed earth#the ones that MIMICKED HER TO THE PEOPLE SHE LOVED MOST#THE āN!!!ā SQUEAL. THE PETTING HIS HAIR. THE DISMISSAL OF J#FUCKING SICK AND TWISTED#Bc i genuinely believe that if Tessa HAD come to copper 9 alive she wouldve been like that#maybe a little more sympathetic to uzi. like if she knew abt the patch she wouldve used it. i know that#but otherwise i think shed be like that. silly. silly like that.#(esp kicking that computer monitor. we all saw her chuck a glass at the floor for no reason)#child abuse#abuse tw#tessa james elliot#murder drones#tessa elliot#tessa md#md tessa#tessa murder drones#murder drones tessa

Some Murder Deer headcanons
oh nooo please don't get dragged into the deer AU haha... unless...
here's some headcanons & ideas I got while drawing these funky lil' cervidae! enjoy... I guess?!
The Deers in general
They're considered "fawns" until the age of 18 years, then they're "bucks" or "does". A gender neutral term does exist in their species - it's simply "cervi".
Their antlers break in (regardless of biological sex) between 15 and 17 years of age.
Antler size can be inherited, but they're mostly fairly small.
Fawns keep their fawn spots as late as 25 years of age. The longer they persist, the smaller the fawns usually are in "final" height. Uzi's e.g stayed until she was 25 and she's fairly small for her species.
Copper-9 & the Absolute Solver
The entire story sets place on an earth-like exoplanet that - similar to alot of xenofiction (e.g Guardians of Ga'hoole) - has one main race populating the planet (in this case, species of the cervidae family)
The Absolute Solver is an Eldritch Organism that is fascinated by the different kinds of mammals and species on exoplanets, slowly incooperating itself into different planets, imitating their populating species and slowly rotting the planet from the core until it is no more.
On Copper-9 it finds the many cervidae looking creatures, taking on the shape of a musk deer like entity (no antlers, sharp canines, for some reasons wants to devour flesh) - seeing how alot of the main individuals have antlers it develops a secondary obsession with antlers.
The AS incooperates the body of a deceased deer, Cyn, which it found rotting away in a forest. After taking the corpse and making it it's host body it found a small 'family' (herd) of deer which included Tessa, a young doe aged 20 that isn't opposed to welcome new indiviuals into the herd. Her parents however, the leading pair of the herd, do not agree and cast "Cyn"/AS aside.
Intruiged by Tessa's welcoming presence despite the herd's cold aura the AS slowly managed to gain her trust by meeting, playing the role of a young doe lost alone in this world ("Cyn") - and Tessa takes the bait easily.
Long yap session short story, the AS kills Tessa, eats her remains and removes her antlers to fuse them to itself, as well as parts of her fur to appear more like her, hoping it could "become" her in a twisted sense of identity seeking.
The Solvers emblem appears on the "users" forehead and they can use it to regenerate and telepathically carry things around with them. An infected user needs blood to sustain themselves as they'll throw up anything that isn't blood or flesh (for example, the deer on Copper-9 eat a plant based diet).
Solver Users/hosts also grow elongated canines and sharp teeth similar to "Cyn"/AS and it's musk deer body.
The Disassembly Squads
The AS creates the Disassembly "Drones" like it did in the OG story, shaping them after deer. Similar to the OG DDs their true eyes sit on their antlers while the ones in their faces are just to blend in (well... as much as they blend in looking like they do LOL).
The DDs are created from slaughtered members of Tessa's former herd, including N(ari), V(erika) and J(ane).
The DDs also have long canines and eat flesh. They're larger than normal deer and while not capable of flight (lack of wings) they're extremely agile and fast, able to quickly outmaneuver their prey.
N, V and J have fragmented memories of their former lives before being killed and rebuilt which do haunt them. J and V suffer the most from this, N is spared for the most part.
J was Tessa's best friend and almost-partner back before they were all slaughtered, and she still remembers this. "Cyn"/AS promises J to bring back Tessa if she does what it commands of her - trusting it to keep it's word. It doesn't. Doomed Yuri.
J is killed off fairly early by Khan when he chases them out of the forest as he manages to pierce her heart with his antlers, which does kill the DDs - usually alot of deer's antlers are too short, but Khan's cool, so he has very big ones. B)
Uzi & her family
They're now called "Doemans" (yes, you may slap me) - and live in a fairly protected herd away from most dangers in a hidden forest.
Nori was killed by N but returned as ghostly entity. She lost her eye in a battle with "Cyn" but was able to escape before being destroyed - she now serves as some sort of guardian for the Cathedral the humans once inhabited, wearing a cross she found as roseary around her neck; knowing it holds the key to kill the AS.
Khan raised Uzi alone and is the main leader of the herd, thus he's a BADASS in this AU. He won't hesitate to fight N when he tried to kill off Uzi, even being able to chase him off.
Uzi is a late bloomer in regards to her antlers - most fawns get them between the age of 15-17 years, Uzi still hasn't gotten her's at the age of 19 and feels extremely sensitive about this topic. Do not mention it unless you want her to cry internally. She gets mocked over this by some of the fawns in her age range. :'))
Khan doesn't allow Uzi to go outside of the forest's borders until her antlers grow in. She hates this - and sneaks out (only to meet N, V and J - whoops!)
Due to her missing antlers N doesn't really recognize her as prey, so he is friendly until V and J are like "dude that's still a deer?? fucking idiot??" and he's like "but she's so nice to me :'(("
That's when you run, Uzi. And have your dad fight N. And win. Because in this AU he doesn't suck!! >:(
Uzi gets the Solver from her mother like in the OG, where Nori is infected by "Cyn" during their fight. It activates during N's attack on her.
Other people
Doll also has her Solver in this AU! She and her family originate from a different part of Copper-9 and lived with different herds which is why their language differs from those in Khan's herd. They mainly got along by communicating through body language :D
Yeva & Nikolai, her parents, where killed by V when they attempted to leave the forest for food. Doll escaped because V didn't spot the fawn hiding in the tall grass - and this activated Doll's Solver. Ever since she's wandering about alone, trying to find a cure for herself. She also loses her eye in another quarrel later on.
Doll's fate is similar to the OG show with "Cyn" eating her corpse after killing her in a vunerable position.
Lizzy & Thad are also around and they're siblings! They're the first fawns in the herd to tag along with Khan to help and find Uzi. Lizzy is still the chattermouth she is in the show and Thad likes to be active. It's the deer ADHD. Their father is the teacher (who isn't a teacher to be exact in this AU... but something similar B))

Once the puppeteer, now the puppet. A Drone-Tessa concept I've been thinking about. Hopefully the 6 people who followed me after the 1st drone-Tessa post like this lol. If anyone here has any thoughts or feedback on this, tell me, I'd be glad to hear it!
A day in the Elliott manor,
It had been some time since Tessa had awoken. Or Cyn rather, as the Solver declared her name to be. Tessa couldnāt tell how much time went by in the ruins of Earth. The clocks hadnāt been working since Tessa awakened. And ever since the Absolute Solver broke Earth to pieces, the Elliott manor didnāt have a fluent day schedule. With each day having an sporadic length, sometimes lasting hours, minutes, or seemingly forever. Even during the night, light was still reflected onto the Elliott manorās surface, but the other pieces of Earth. Ensuring there wasnāt any end to Cynās playing.
Tessa couldnāt tell whether she could call the planet Earth, anymore. The Solver turned Earth into a debris field, with its minor pieces orbiting its largest piece, which contained the Elliott manor, now Cynās liar.
āNo, āthe stageā is a better name,ā Tessa thought, while laying on her knees, scrubbing a rug with a sponge. āFor a pointless house of living dolls.ā
It was quiet in the Elliott manor. Cyn usually spent her time torturing someone, though not always Tessa. Cyn also played with possessed puppets on far-off galaxies, and now she was sitting dormant in Tessaās old room, playing her game of cat and mouse with mankind. In the meantime, Cyn always ordered Tessa around the manor, cleaning it pointlessly.Ā
The first thing Cyn ordered of Tessa, upon her awakening, was to clean the blood leftover from the Gala event. Which Tessa did, cleaning the room roof to floor, yet the blood mixed very well with carpets, dragging Tessa to a stalemate.
āDammit, If she hates blood so much, whyād she flood the back woods with it?ā Tessa exclaimed silently, while looking up. āI suppose this mustāve been how she thought when I was free.ā
Tessa sighed, and looked to her right, where her eyes caught a portrait of her old self, with her drones, all assembled together alongside her parents.Ā
āAh, when I was freeā¦ā Tessa thought out loud.
Tessa looked at J's face, and smiled, thinking back to the laughter they once sang, and how eager they seemed to help her when her parents had seemingly left her.
āIt was all an act,ā Tessa thought, her smile frowning, as she turned back to the blood soaked carpet. āJust a mask.ā
Tessa began scrubbing the carpet with renewed vigor.
āMother was right, none of them really cared after all,ā Tessa thought, remembering the emotionless look in Jās eyes when her builder got struck down. āTook my name, my family, my home, even my whole name. Mother wasnāt even this cruel.ā
Tessaās scrubbing slowed.
āI really was just made to be someoneās fool, wasnāt I?ā Tessa thought. āFirst pushed around by the parents, and now by an eldritch horror.ā
Tessa stopped scrubbing, before slamming her fist down on the carpet.
āWhat am I thinking? I am still an Elliott, no matter what Cyn says,ā Tessa thought. āAnd Elliottās donāt quit.ā
Tessās face grew angry.
āSome day, I will get out of here. I have to,ā Tessa thought, slamming the sponge repeatedly into the stained rug. āAnd when I do, Iāll burn this stupid blonde wig, Iāll call myself by my real nameā¦āĀ
Tessa gave one last knock on the floor.
āAnd I will kill every last one of those 4 traitors,ā Tessa thought.
Tessaās momentum slowed to a halt, her eyes closed in contemplation. Finally, Tessa let out a sarcastic laugh, as she begrudgingly lifted herself up, and sat up against a wall, trying to breathe, yet her own metallic body failed to draw in air. Letting out a few shallow laughs, she felt an urge to cry, yet no tiers greeted her metallic face. Finally, Tessa sighed, and slouched back.
āBut how?ā Tessa said quietly.

My murder drones au headcannons (the one with actual digital art)
These š
Anyways yknow the drill at this point, look under the cut for the headcannons
TW FOR SUICIDE ATTEMPT IN THE HEADCANNONS (I'll have it be in red so you can skip past it if it makes you uncomfortable)
Uzi- Autistic, clearly
She has daddy issues but not nearly as bad as in canon(Khan doesn't leave her for dead in this au she "sacrifices herself") she's still super emo. She has a more scene style. Her, Lizzy and Doll are actually kinda close, they become even closer(become friends) after the series ends, cuz, yknow, Uzi saved the world? Anyways, she's dating N, and she doesn't care that he killed her mom(I mean she does but it only affected them for like, a year, so I guess a long time, they actually broke up cuz of it but they were both fuckin miserable and Nori slapped some sence into her cuz she saw how N looked before killing her and he looked so guilty ((wow the run on sentence go crazy))) So yeah they're the dictionary definition of a great not toxic couple
N- very sweet, very loving good boy. He has PTSD, obviously. It's like, really bad tho. Nightmares every night level bad, and that's how him and this aus Khan bond. They trauma bond, yay!! He's very in touch with his emotions, and he's a bit of a push over. He's a very big people pleaser and has a lot of trouble placing boundaries. Uzi helps him with that when they start dating, so that he doesn't get hurt all the time
V- once you crack her shell, she's a very shy and sweet person, not like her personality back at the manor, but like a mix of her current canon personality and manor. C PTSD, she remembered more than N about the manor before Uzi unlocked those memories. She also has nightmares a lot but Lizzy and Doll help her with them. Nothing cuddles and wholesome movies can't fix. At least for a little bit.
J- bless this girls lonely heart. She's still greiving Tessa(she's alive in Uzis mind just no one knows yet) she ends up breaking down after her and N get into a mother fight after he tries to be there for her for the like, 10000th time. When she comes back to the bunker with N, everyone, understandably, is very suspicious of her. But when she does get there, for the first few months, she's just a husk of her old self. Shes quite and agrees to do anything because she just doesn't care anymore, the moment she starts to truly feel at home is, ironically, during her rock bottom
TW FOR SUICIDE ATTEMPT
V is the one that finds her, she had gotten worried when she noticed all the uneaten oil in front of Js room. When she comes in she sees J with her rifle to her head.
TW OVER
V tackles her and starts interrogating her, asking why and is very worried. J, seeing this, just breaks, she begins to bawl her eyes out, crying about how much she misses Tessa, how she was the love of her life and can't live without her, how she wants to be with her, how she can't take it anymore. V and J spend the next 3 to 4 hours crying together. V had texted N telling him what happened and to get his ass over there now. So, of course he does, when he gets there he sees them hugging and J crying and he joins them, bringing the oil so when Js done crying she can eat. She had been starving herself toAnd this is when J truly sees how much people care about her, which, in turn, makes her cry even harder. When she's done crying N feeds her the oil and they cuddle together for a while. She's a lot better now but she's in for a very big surprise
Cyn- that's right baby! Cyns alive! Because I felt so SO bad for her that I had to have her live in my au. She still talks the same, but she's very sweet and innocent, her and Uzi have an older/younger sister relationship. Her and N reunite in the cutest way, they're both crying and hugging super tight. V and J are tearing up as well. I have more headcannons about her on my drawing of her lol so wait for that lol
Tessa- I don't have a lot of headcannons for Tessa, so just go to the hashtag Died and got over it and take pretty much all the headcannons of Tessa from there and that's how it is here pretty much lol(I'll find the @ I promise)
Thad- he's a straight ally and single(looking at you @rory-multifandom-mess) he's Lizzy's younger twin brother and his personality is pretty much the same. He's friends with the wrong people. He's a very big sweetheart. He's a Femininominon. A green flag icon. The best football player on his team(he isn't a dick about it tho) I don't have anything else for him but I do have a drawing for him so you'll have to wait on that as well lol. Srry
Lizzy- Thads older twin. She's dating V and Doll(you can't stop me) she became friends with Uzi after the show ended. She's a Y2K girlie. She is also very sweet when you tear down the asshole popular girl walls. She's quite traumatized from the show and sometimes has nightmares about it. She doesn't tell anyone but people found out(*cough cough* V and Doll *cough cough*)
Doll- she's dating V and Lizzy, she was never revengeful of V, as her dad survived the attack(so did her mom but literally no one knows that yet) she's still very blunt and has a flat affect, she also doesn't show her emotions a lot, but from the unfinished comic I already posted, when V and Lizzy get back to the bunker after the canon ends she breaks down. She thought they were dead. Uzi and her are cousins(not really but their dads are best friends so they view each other as cousins) I don't even have a last name for her yet so you'll have to wait(again) for the drawing to see more headcannons of her)
Khan- WOOO WE'VE HIT THE JACKPOT BABY! Autistic. He's half DD in my au(and he has the solver with the back hand things that we see nori having at the beginning of episode 7 I think, either 7 or 6 idk) idk how hes part DD yet, my thoughts are either forbidden love or cabin fever failed experiment. I'll probably make a poll of that, see which ones you all like the most. He's very insecure about his body, he used to get bullied back in high school because, no matter which choice I make, he gets to experience high school(with the cabin fever experiment he went missing for like, a year, and then escaped, he tried to get nori and yeva but they told him to go or he'd get killed, so he left, he still has a lot of pent up guilt from that) he's also a trans man(YIPPIE) but he's also curvy, hence the insecurity. He's a good dad and actually helped with the fight with the AS(he fought j as a distraction and effectively got his ass beat((Lizzy laughed at him, he also laughed, he's a dumbass))) so he had to recover from that, also, in my au, him, the teacher(I'm naming him Lewis) and nori are dating, so when Lewis is hanging for his fucking life Khan flies down and saves him lol. Also, he does get to reunite with nori, as everything that happened to her in the show happens in my au, but them reuniting happens differently, through Uzi(yay)
Guh, I've ran out of ideas so when I get more(and the motivation to write more) I'll reblog this post with more headcannons, hope y'all like this lol

Looking at the various comments of MD's finale, one recurring criticism I've seen is the show's treatment of J. That having her side with Cyn and be one of the baddies in need of defeat was a poor handling of her character. And to be frank, I get it. Like many, I was fully expecting J to turn against Cyn and join the heroes when it was revealed that it was her inside that space suit rather than Tessa. After all, Tessa was the one and only person that J seemed to have any genuine liking of, her closest friend if you will, so naturally she'd want revenge for her murder.
However, there's another side to this. Throughout her appearances, J has been characterised with one prominent quality above all, that being her unwavering deference and obedience of the higher authority figures in her life, such as the JC Jenson company. At this point in the story, Cyn is not only the one responsible for transforming J and the others into Disassembly Drones, but also the one who resurrects them after death. Whether J likes it or not, Cyn is undeniably the power in her life, and so, with her aforementioned willingness to go with whoever she sees as the top dog, it was probably inevitable that she'd stick by Cyn's side. She likely hates her a great deal for what she's done, but it's not in J's established character to rebel like it was for the likes of N or V.
And that sets up an interesting possibility for her now that Cyn is gone. We see in the show's end credits that J did indeed survive the final fight, and is in the process of repairing one of the drop ships so she can leave. Cyn is defeated, and humanity is gone as well, which means, for the first time in her life, there's nobody around to give her orders. She's going to have to figure out who she is and what she wants now that there's nobody above her in the pecking order to command her. That'll be a pretty interesting journey for her I'd wager š

With the series finale of "Murder Drones" happening August 23rd, I'm really curious about what the character J is going to do because for all we know, she doesn't know that Tessa is dead and it's been really Cyn/the Absolute Solver this whole time.
J clearly cares about Tessa more than anyone and the Absolute Solver said that it wanted N, J and V to retain their personalities. Well:
Tessa and J certainly seem like besties and that J would do anything for her, so her actions of destroying ways off the planet that while bad, she'd still be willing to do it if Tessa ordered it; plus, with N and V being against the Absolute Solver, J likely would too, especially if she learned that Tessa is in fact dead. :(
J still refers to Tessa here as boss, so that hasn't changed, as well as her remaining obedient even if she is unsure about an order as she seemed confused to be asked to guard the ship. I know there is the chance that J is puzzled here because her guarding the ship wasn't part of the plan (if J's in on it and knows that's not really Tessa), but it's true too that her confusion could be from knowing that she's a great fighter but is now being sidelined. :/ Also, since the J we know here is a clone, there's every possibility that the Absolute Solver created her and only booted her up when they arrived at Copper 9, never taking off the suit and simply telling her everything that would help aid her plan like Cyn leaving Earth (because J doesn't mention that the Earth has been destroyed) and them arriving on Copper 9 in order to stop her plans. Admittedly, it's still a bit of a tossup on which way it could go, but I like the thought of J not knowing because of the grief, betrayal and rage she no doubt would have. Plus:
Maybe this is J in the thumbnail since we know what happens when you question the company. O_O

Just realized I can talk about my AUs on here so here is the most deranged swap au known to man
J swaps with Tessa
And Cyn swaps with the Absolute Solver
The solver as a drone isn't here but I'm gonna brief yall on a couple more characters before revealing Cyn's deal to build suspense.
When Tessa rose again as a zombie drone, she was badly hurt, and would have died again in days had Jade Elliot not saved her. She became obsessed with her rebirth and sought to understand the secrets of life and death, especially how they affected drones (she's so victor Frankenstein coded I love her).
This journey took her to a scrapyard where she met a runway drone who had modified herself with the trash there: Uzi (she was swapped with Alice in an early version of the au, so some remnants of that linger). Uzi has digitigrade legs, toe beans, purely cosmetic bug antenna, and IR and night vision. She's also kinda rusty. (Also uzi in this au takes some inspiration from @solroskajan's Rebel Or Runaway au go check her stuff out it's awesome.) The two engineers quickly become friends, and eventually Tessa brings N and V to meet Uzi. V falls in love at first sight, and immediately panics bc she doesn't want to be disloyal to N, who she hasn't even confessed to yet. Eventual Envuzi bc its my otp/ot3. Anyway back to crimes against nature.
Tessa is just as into the occult as in canon, so she's trying to summon demons and shit (with Uzi's help of course). Eventually she succeeds (and nearly disintegrates into a pile of rust in the process) and gives an entity known as The Ultimate Parasite a physical form.
The Parasite of the Ultimate Fertilizer, The Rot, The Inevitable Dawn: Cyn (she/it pronouns as is my general headcanon for her)(yes im projecting) is an eldritch goddess of death, time, and rebirth. She is based around the idea that destruction is just transformation and thus, is creation. Predation, parasitism, rot; smashing a statue with a hammer creates a pile of dust as surely as sculpting creates a statue. It has a fungal and parasitic wasp motif, and is, well, about the way you'd expect an eldritch goddess of time to act. She's distant, she's seen thousands of civilizations rise and fall and it Knows that everything is temporary, knows it surer than it knows anything else. Needless to say, having a conversation with it usually results in existential dread. If anyone draws her I would die (in a good way). All that's set for her appearance it's that it is Mushroom and has wasp mandibles.
Oh also I forgot to mention that Jade still does her buzzword gimmick from canon but sarcastically. Goodness she's so sarcastic.
Asks welcome, and to finish off here's all my AUs listed from least to most self-explanatory: Cyn-tinal, Sibling Swap, Pokemon!AU, N kills Yeva

Tessa James Elliot: Sad headcanons
Trigger Warning:child ab*se,child neglect,misstreatment,angst.
She was extremely pale and thin, a result of the anxiety and stress she felt every time her parents interacted with her.
Her wrists and ankles were always covered in cuts, scars, and bruises from being chained up so often and trying to free herself. It reached the point where even the slightest touch or movement caused her pain.
She developed a strong fear of the sound of metal clashing because it reminded her of the chains. Whenever she heard metal collide, she would panic.
Her father insulted her directly, calling her by degrading misogynistic insults(mostly the W word)
For even the smallest mistake or misstep she made, Louisa and James would punish her with more aggression.
They treated her like a servant and maid, just like the drones. They forced her to clean up after their late-night parties, clean the mess from their galas, set the table and serve dinner, and tidy up the chaos they themselves caused.
She never attended school or high school; her parents had her homeschooled with personal tutors. Tessa is very skilled in chemistry, mathematics, history, and literature, but she was stagnant when it came to handwriting and social squills.
It wasnāt just being chained; they also verbally and physically abused her. They would kick her, punch her, pinch her, pull her hair, slap her, whip her with belts, and hurl deeply hurtful words at her.
Louisa would hit her with her fan as a punisment.
Sometimes they punished her by denying her dinner (luckily, J would always sneak food to her so she wouldnāt go hungry).
There were times when they punished her by not allowing her to bathe, only to humiliate her later for her bad smell.
Once, Louisa gave her a horrible punishment and split her lip just because she caught her eating a cheesecake that belonged to her in the kitchen.
Her four dronesāespecially Jāwere the ones who comforted her when she cried from all the abuse. Well, Cyn would just silently watch her cry, still keeping that innocent smile on her mouth.
Her parents wanted to marry her off to the son of their business colleagues so that the Elliot family could produce another generation. This caused Tessa to scream and cry, but they would always silence her. In a way, Cyn saved her from this...

Tessa had at least five "dumpster pets". And perhaps she only had five.
At the beginning of episode 5, we see a few drones with 606 errors in the restricted section of the library. We get a close look at one of them before cutting to N.
You can see the same yellow armband that J, N, V, and Cyn all wear, though unfortunately we don't get to see what her designation is.
Two other drones are visible in the background. A wider shot shows them again, as well as one in the foreground.
Notably, these three other drones do not have hair, and do not have the yellow armband. They look identical to the other drones working in the manor, so probably aren't Tessa's "pets".
Alright, great, what does this mean?
Well, a theory came to mind quickly after I realized this. We have 5 drones with 606 errors, that Tessa is keeping in the library. 3 regular staff, V, and a 5th, unnamed zombie drone. Meanwhile Cyn is escalating her unruly behavior, and Tessa and J are keeping her locked up more or less of their own accord, but apparently to keep out of trouble.
We know Cyn is probably pet number 4. I think it's a pretty common headcanon that J was the first, and is jealous of the newer ones for taking more of Tessa's attention. But, maybe Cyn was also jealous of number 5?
A possible scenario: Tessa brings number 5 into the manor, gives her a wig and dress, and sets her to work. Perhaps V is with her, helping her adjust. The two, along with a handful of other, standard drones set about cleaning.
Cyn grows jealous of no longer being the newest. She does... something. Attempts to control the newest drone perhaps? Brick her OS? And maybe she's careless about it. She hits V and the other 3 drones with it too.
Tessa is able to retrieve all 5 before they get dumped for being broken. She'll try to fix them, probably promises her parents it will be quick. Cyn is probably smug and unruly. Maybe Tessa suspects her of doing something, maybe not, but she also gets locked away to avoid causing more trouble while Tessa tries to figure things out and fix the drones.
Long story short, Cyn's jealousy over this 5th drone might have been one of the triggers for her escalation during the gala (as opposed to any other time).

MURDER DRONES - ODDSWAP AU
I present to you all today a murder drones AU based entirely on the premise of āhow insane could I get with a swap AU of murder drones?ā (Hence the name āOddSwapā)
The swaps (so far) are as follows:
Uzi swaps with Cyn
V swaps with Tessa
N swaps with Doll
J swaps with Alice
IN DEPTH INFORMATION / CLOSE UPS BELOW THE CUTā¬ļø
CYN AND UZI:
Cyn is incredibly pessimistic and anti-social, only speaking to her older brother Neo. She adapted this personality in an attempt to ward off those who bothered her, but instead it just encouraged more bullying from peers. Cyn has a much more sensitive and polite side, but is usually masked under wittiness and coldness.
Uzi retained her canon personality up until being thrown out and becoming a zombie drone/solver creation. She maintains her rebellious nature but in a more subtle and dull manner. Before her incident she actually got along well with the others, but afterwards they all became distant and wary.
VANESSA AND SERIAL DESIGNATION T:
Vanessa has a similar personality to past V in canon, but is a bit more spiteful and more eccentric about drones. Every time she āgeeks outā is shut down by her parents, hence where the spitefulness came in. Sometimes sheād have drones purposely mess up to get back at her parents. Despite that, Vanessa treats the drones well and tries not to favor one over the other. She too is wary of Uzi, but still tries to be nice to her.
T has the personality of canon Tessa, both before becoming a disassembly drone and after. Once becoming a disassembly drone she acted a little more hyper and quirky. While it comes off as annoying to the other two disassembly drones, she still is a valued teammate. She tends to act nervous around those superior to her.
NEO AND SERIAL DESIGNATION D:
Neo is Cynās older brother. Their parents died while they were young, and that event lead Neo to becoming vengeful and cold. It also lead to him thinking T killed their parents. Neo is overprotective of his sister and the only one sheās comfortable around. He has the capability to care and love, but thatās a privilege only a certain few will get.
D is quiet, keeping to herself mostly. But of the three, sheās the most strategic. Her quietness is due to being in constant thought of whatās next, which made her a bit out of touch with the other two disassembly drones. D is still Russian, and only understands Russian.
JANE AND SERIAL DESIGNATION A
Jane is presumably the only survivor of Cabin Fever Labs. She used to be much more prestige and classy, until (PLACEHOLDER) tweaked out and Yāknow the rest. She entirely blames (PLACEHOLDER) and takes her anger out on travelers. She is also cannibalistic and has some control over the sentinels.
A is the most sadistic of the three, but also not the most competent. Her only redeeming quality is persuasion, and her sadist nature holds her back greatly. The other two could be killing several workers at once while sheās busy focusing on one drone to torture. She claims herself leader of the three, and often blames the other two for her mistakes.
Anyway, thatās all so far. If you made it here congratulations you get a cookie šŖ
If this blows up Iāll do a little part 2 of this

Hey so a bit of a possible crack theory:
So in the show, weāve gotten three solver colors already, Red, which stands for Doll, Purple which stands for Uzi/Nori, Yellow which stands for the solver/CYN. But hereās something ALOT of people seemed to miss. After you rewatch the Season 1 trailer, you realize:
Thereās a blue solver, most likely a blue solver holder. Hidden right before the infamous yellow of the solver weāve come to know in the show.
If you watch the trailer, you also notice something else. Right before this symbol quickly shows up, we have a dialogue from N, running away from Uzi from the scene at the end of episode 2 and then him sitting in front of V being sad. But if you listen to that dialogue:
He says āWe canāt be around the workers anymore V, weāre too dangerousā¦ā
He eventually begins to hang around them again, but to me this line with the imagery is super important. We know from the most recent episode 7/8 teaser that N is the actual leader of the squad, most likely the strongest and most likely protected by CYN with her admin right before she was completely lost by the solver.
Through out the show, we see him confused at his own power at points, like in episode 4 when he shoots the arrow through another and catches them on fire, cracking the arrow board, proceeding to say:
āDid I do that?ā All confused.
N obviously doesnāt know how powerful he is at all, but what if and hear me out, itās not ONLY because heās a Disassembly Drone?
We know that CYN blocked the solver from having access to him, V and J to most likely protect them from the fate the solver has for drones who are infected. She didnāt want the same thing happening to N, her brother, who she loved and his friends which he cared about and most likely she cared about before she was taken over completely.
But now, Uzi has unblocked them from being protected from the CYNs admin, which was presumably protecting the squad from the affects of possibly getting the solver, (under the assumption CYN was bad in general) by becoming their administrator. If Uzi is their admin, and she gets taken over by the solver in general, that means that her admin code basically becomes useless to protecting N and the others from being infected too. And remember Tessa found them in the dump and repaired them as well, like CYN so they have a high chance of contracting the solver since they were also disposed of incorrectly.
So here comes the point of this picture that was released as a teaser yesterday:
Itās N, looking down, whether at something or just on the verge of having a breakdown and losing it we are uncertain, but from the posture, the balled fists, he does NOT look okay at all.
The first thing yours eyes are drawn to are the building split in half in front of him, the exoplanets in the sky and N. But, on a more closer look, you see two things:
1. The snow flakes on the bottom left have a ominous blue tint to them, which should only happen if blue light is reflecting off of themā¦
2. If you didnāt notice on the first look, N has the same blue light, coming from right in front of him. Perhaps maybe the same color as this blue solver symbol we have yet to see with some weird lines and curves jutting out from the sidesā¦
At first, I thought Khan would be the blue solver holder at the beginning of the series, being a surprise twist for him to have activated in him he was so afraid of due to him possibly seeing it with his wife Nori. Honestly while that wouldāve been cool, episode 5 debunked this possibility, since Khan was flung out of the room by Doll when she was attempting to get the cyber bug from Uzi. Solver owners canāt effect other solver holders as proven from the series, it can only use items around them to throw or hurt them.
We havenāt seen N be affect by the solver once in the present time or in the flashback of episode 5.
Now I do know the merch video came out today, but it was stated in the video that
1. āIt was totally not canonical to the series what so everā which I HIGHLY doubt. Most of the merch and videos we have seen have been canon and it seems as though the characters have been pulled aside between episodes to āfilmā these fourth wall breaks.
2. The fact that the title of the video āNās Final Formā and the thumbnail are most likely not just a joke. Notice his acrylic stand teaser from Vās acrylic stand released recently:
When I first saw this, it looked SUPER weird. Me and my significant other said it looked like N and we thought the two things in the foreground of his body were his wings, meaning he was looking away from the viewer of the stand.
But then we looked closer and I started looking at my King Solver N design you can find in the murder drones link in my FAQ and we drew a more accurate picture of what we were seeing. N was not looking away from the viewer, all the characters are looking at us, and it would be weird to have N be different. So this is what we came up with:
W stands for his wings, T stands for where his tail is, L stands for his legs, F stands for his face and H stands for his hands.
His hands look a-little weird donāt they?
Remember this:
It was mentioned some where on Tumblr that this looks similar to the cocoon that Uzi broke out of in Episode 4 when she transformed into her solver form only N is being dragged in. This is obviously a biomechanical phenomenon of the solver. But why is he being dragged in?
To have his āfinal transformationā , a āfinal formā you may say?
The only thing is, after Uzis transformation, is when the solver really started to gain power over her, taking control of her as seen in Episode 4 and recently in Episode 6. As soon as she became biomechanical, the solver gained more control over her.
(Edit: sO this cocoon theory was wrong, but his emotions can still spill over and cause this!!! So its not fully wrong yet!)
Now think of the scene above and what happened to Uzi in Episode 4, but with N. N gets dragged into this cocoon, fighting but not able to escape, while Uzi is fighting inside her mind with the real solver, posing as CYN in the mansion as Uzi is trying not to lose her mind. While sheās stuck, N has his transformation, now not able to be protected by CYNs administration since Uzi is now the administrator of him and V, so he undergoes the transition, the solver not having much to fight against converting him to a biomechanical creature like Uzi. This gives it more power over N, and gives it a chance to take advantage of the situation to bury itself into Nās code, making his solver string: true. Now N has the same thing inside him that has possibly taken everything from him.
After this, he either gets possessed fully and goes on a rampage or the possession is slow, painful after he manages to escape the cocoon and get to the surface. Either by this point Uzi is still fighting in her head and N thinks sheās fully gone or dead OR she has successfully fought the solver and is looking for N. All his repressed emotions, everything that has happened, everything heās lostā¦itās all become too much. He snaps, lashing out on whatever is in front of him, this being the building we see in half in the teaser from yesterday. Before he can stop himself, he angrily swings toward the building, but instead of a sword, his gun or his claws coming out, there is this fleshy, gross growth that emerges, a blue solver symbol appearing in front of him and shooting towards the building, snapping it in half like a toothpick.
There is a moment of either him stopping in pure panic due to this OR his panic, sadness and fear turns into full on anger, him not able to repress anything anymore, taking a turn into a full on uncontrollable breakdown. The reason he had to repress his emotions for all this time, for fear of lashing out and hurting the ones he cares for. But now, as far as he knows, no one is left to care for. After all in the merch teaser today Uzi said really sarcastically:
āYouāre meant to be better than us! Donāt become swallowed by the darkness/animal based merchandise (murders) like I have!ā
And
āHIS EMOTIONSā¦ CAN NOT BE CONTAINED!ā
(which can be very much true)
This could end in either him being used by the solver as a host or Uzi coming back to help him and in turn as he said in the teaser:
āOkay Iām back! Iām better and itās even deeper down nowā¦.haha! ā (basically his repressed emotions being repressed further for an even worst breakdown in a season 2)
Thatās one turn it could take, but another could he that when he stops from pure panic due to what heās become, similar to Uzi, and in the merch trailer today, and realizes he can use his newfound powers to save the ones he loves that are either left alive or find another way to fix what has happened.
(Someone mentioned on here that Nās solver powers could be similar to Time-travel to places heās been to in the past, (like Dolls in teleportation to only places she has seen and Uzi doesnāt really have one yet, sheās not that far along in development of her solver) to go back and correct what mistakes he has made, fixing the timeline and THAT would be super cool if he does think he has lost everything or really has. If it ever find it on here again, I will tag it.)
Sorry this was SO LONG, but basically, N will have the blue solver due to the final two episodes and he will get a transformation like Uzis, having him grasp the thing that has basically ruined his life several times over being apart of him now, having to use it to save his loved ones. All the while not having a mental breakdown or angry blowup and losing control of his powers. So basically affecting the story and his choices greatly.
#murder drones#I spent an hour typing this#at a soccer game#itās okay if this isnāt true#when the episode releases#but itās all good#ALSO I GOT the Uzi sweater#and N pin#Iām getting the rest of the merch#and the N doggo#murder drones theory#sorry if this makes no sense#itās a rant#starryrants!#starrywrites!

Cyberpunk anyone?
AU'S BABY, AU'S!
āāDetails belowā¶ā· Warning: long.
Because im an obsessive, psychopathic insomniac with no supervision, on top of the mermaid AU I'm working on, I also decided that a murder drones cyberpunk AU needed to be real, and since no one's done it yet (I checked) I figured I might as well. This is that.

āStory Stuff (Currently limited)
JCJenson in SPAAAAAACE founded a residential colony on Copper-9. Revolutionary technology allowed Copper City to be the first human settlement on a once thought uninhabitable planet, thus earning the galaxy's praises. Millions moved to the planet once it was finished and the company's reputation soared. Unfortunately for JCJenson, that reputation would soon crumble with a series of increasingly catastrophic events befalling the planet.
First was the infamous "robot uprising" in which hundreds of worker drones began attempting to abandon the city, and some even attacked their owners. The situation quickly escalated to a full-blown war between the machines and humans. As Copper City was a stand-alone settlement on a distant exo-planet, it had no military, leading to a mixed bag of JCJenson security personnel and volunteer soldiers to lead the charge against the malfunctioning worker drones. Many lives were lost, and in the end, the rebelling workers were driven out of the city bubble and into the snowy wastelands.
The second happened only a few months after the end of the war. The ā¬ā¬ā¬ā¬ Event was contained to the Copper-9 branch HQ building. During the event, several worker drones were infected with a virus named ā¬ā¬ā¬ā¬. "Patient Zero" was terminated and from there, all ā¬ā¬ā¬ā¬ activity was easily dealt with. The silver lining to this event was that JCJenson technician "Tessa Elliot" was able to salvage many of the previously infected worker drones and repurpose them to clean up the remaining defective worker drones out in the wastelands. After rigorous testing and development, the new "Dissasembly drones" were revealed to the public, and following their debut were then sent to work. Results have plateaued in terms of terminating the remaining workers in recent years since the workers have built themselves a bunker. Serial designation "J" assures that given enough time, they will find a way in and continue with the extermination as planned.
And finally, the third and most dangerous event: the core collapse. Due to the sheer incompetence of lower-level personnel responsible for monitoring the status of the planet's core as the surrounding area is mined, copper-9 narrowly avoided a core collapse. Such an event would have resulted in total planetary extinction had it not been stopped in time by an upper manager. At the time JCJenson had little to say other than that they were sorry and that the near disaster had nothing to do with the worker resistance or ā¬ā¬ā¬ā¬. They also took the opportunity of the press conference to tease a new project that would make Copper City safer than ever. We would later find out that this was referring to the previously mentioned "Dissasembly drones".
Copper City has suffered many close calls during its time, but today the city is thriving. Surely after so much trouble, there must be a reason those who live here decide to stay, and that reason is the soul of the city. It Never sleeps- always alive with freedom and opulence. Truly, Copper City is everything visionaries had been dreaming of what the future would be like. (But is that a good thing?)
------------
ā Extra Details
-Tessa was able to save many of the affected worker drones after Cyn went all cookoo crazy solver pants, but the company wanted them disposed of anyway. she proposed that they could be used to take care of the rogue worker drones and that's why they haven't been decommissioned.
-JCJenson higher-ups, demanded that they be disposed of after they had served their purpose. but Tessa plans to propose that theybe once again be repurposed into law enforcement when that day comes.
-After all why not? Tessa put a lot of work into making their modified murder drone bodies into effective, but pretty killing machines. If the public likes them, then they can be marketed. and though Tessa isn't the biggest fan of police in general, she'll take whatever she can get if it means her drones survive.
-JCJenson would love the idea anyway. Copper City is basically a corporate town already, just bigger. The human law enforcement is already in their pocket, so why not have literal robots loyal only to them carry out the law?
-Uzi would try to break into the city to gather intel and a power source for her rail gun.
-JCJenson still manufactures and sells worker drones, but since the war, they've modified the design so that they are much easier to deactivate if necessary.
-This design change is a literal off switch on the back of the head. Uzi does not have one since her parents built her and why the hell would they install one on their daughter? None of the drones at the bunker have an off switch. including those who fought in the war.
-Aside from that, all worker drones inside Copper City are digitally tagged upon purchase and activation. This makes it much easier for JCJenson and Dissasembaly drones to differentiate between a regular, legal worker drone and a rebellion worker that broke into the city.
-JCJenson's reputation suffered a lot during all that nonsense up there, so they really can't leave the workers alone. the public still perceives them as a threat. JCJenson does too, but more so for terrible solver demon reasons.
-That's one of the reasons that Tessa is okay with sending her friends off to commit genocide.
-Uzi is genocidal too though, so morality calls that a draw.
-I'm thinkin' that the Dissasebly drones probably have like, a roost or something inside the city that they can be deployed from. kinda like a cave of bats where they can recharge during the day.
-I think perhaps disassembly drones can go out during the day in the city, but only for a little while. and not at all outside of the city bubble.
-When I say "City bubble" just imagine the moon base from "Scooby-Doo Moon Monster Madness" cuz that's what it looks like.

Episode 7 Teaser is out and it gave me too many crack theories
Well, after finally getting my head wrapped around the entire teaser- which took literal hours to process how amazing it all looked- I think I finally found the ability to put it into words.
Spoilers, duh and uh lots of words, so sorry
This'll be somewhat frame by frame crack down as well as crack theories that came to me while spending time looking at the red images too long that gave me a headache - anyways
As many have mentioned this before, V's corpse is gone, and only a sentinel's tail remains on the ground to the right. Although I wish to believe that V made it out alive, that hope is quickly dwindling. Although there is a small possibility that V somehow won the fight (perhaps with outside help such as J) and dragged herself away (based off of the splatter on the ground) I more so think that she turned into an eldritch V. That or perhaps has been mauled by the sentinels, and the body was dragged off. Although, I can not wait for Liam to prove me wrong about this theory (I hope he proves me wrong, cause I miss V ;w;)
The ground looking hall seems to be where the gang will enter right after exiting the elevator. Alongside this, it seems that the moment with N is also here (based on the background). Now, as for the look that N gives. It goes from worried and slightly scared to harsh concern (in my opinion, feel free to take that thought and yeet it as far as you wish ^_^). Something made him worry in a way that also slightly flared his anger. Two theories:
He saw something ahead of them, and this is the more likely possibility, because that tunnel gives way to the cave that N seems to have been dragged into from the teaser from November.
2. Uzi might have said something that made him more concerned. There is a figure that moves behind N, but it is very hard to see as to who it is- my guess it's Tessa, making Uzi the only candidate to possibly to walk in front of them.
Then we get to see this hole.
Possibility (also a bit wacky and highly unlikely): The entity will finally be revealed, that is, the center of the absolute solver. Something I noticed with the design of the absolute solver is that we get to see its limbs, but never the main body. It is always hiding somewhere, be it in the ceiling or the walls. Of course, there are also the eldritch forms we saw of Cyn, but in my opinion, it feels more like another limb. Now, with J's huge form, I'm a little more inclined to believe that's what it looks like as the main body. Holo spooky snake crab like.
Not to be dramatic, but... Core collapse, which made me chuckle. Because despite all hell breaking loose in these last couple episodes, Murder Drones still manages to sneak in tiny jokes like this. Oh, and I can't forget the dog too! XD
Something I still cannot grasp my head around is what is going on with the environment around the cathedral?? It's raining, but it's in a cave- ok can be sorta explained that it acts like a stalactite... but then what is going on with the vortex around the building? My current theory: uhhh... robo-satan, that is all.
A lot of scenes with humans and in a clear view (i.e. not like a video tape). This might suggest a flashback as many have already mentioned it. However, who, how, and why is there a flashback? Well, there is one crack theory I came up with. This is what Uzi is seeing. She is an absolute solver host, and it has been seen on multiple occasions that absolute solver has a hivemind, so it can easily show its hosts whatever memories its previous hosts had.
These next scenes I believe to be in the progression as shown.
@/haastera (don't want to bother them with a tag) also pointed this out, that these scenes may be back to back, based off of the lamp that is off to Uzi's left. However, what the heck would cause Uzi to snap like she did in ep4?
Uzi saw something in the tape that made her upset, the possibility of N killing Nori. Cons in that theory: N killed Nori post core collapse, and there would not be any evidence of it.
The tape had something that was similar to zombie drones tape that was marked "Don't show this to drones, they will not like it." Something in the tape may have forced boot the solver string in Uzi, and she was powerless to stop it. Cons: @bloodywolfwings mentioned to me that the reflection in Uzi's visor seems to be a door instead of a screen. So there's also the 50% chance that these two scenes are not even related.
MA'AM YOU PUT THAT SWORD AWAY, UZI HAS IT BAD ENOUGH MA'AM- in all seriousness, this is a 50/50 shot once again. Maybe Tessa is attempting to get rid of Uzi while N is gone. The opposite end of that is Tessa is attempting to help Uzi, perhaps an enemy that Uzi did not sense behind her.
These two scenes are related, I believe- the claw is hard to see behind the cross, but it is there, and not to mention that Dr. Chambers is wearing a camera on his head. However, there's more to it after I stared at it for a while. The absolute solver claw appears to be burning and glitching, this is only seen with DDs and solver drones when they are exposed to the sun. Perhaps the humans were slowly getting better at controlling the absolute solver, with some sort of power equivalent to the sun. But in the end, their efforts were useless, seeing as Nori still destroyed everything there.
We have seen these two scenes already, so not much to dissect here. Just NUzi being NUzi :3 while all hell breaks loose
This scene had me so confused at first.
I could not figure out what was going on with the cars. Cars are outside, our gang is in a cathedral, what happened- That's it. This is outside. And as many have already mentioned this, there are drones in the background so far identified as Lizzy and perhaps Thad. (I say perhaps Thad because my dumb brain won't let go of the idea that the drone on the left is Khan. Look, my brain said 'I think I see a mustache' and now I can't unsee it.) Either way, this is outside and the gravity has decided to take a break (as RedMage put it in the nuzi discord server). It seems that the gang will do something, or something drastic will happen (perhaps a second core collapse) that will cause the gravity of copper-9 to become unstable. So maybe the episode will end with the possibility that copper-9 is about to collapse like Earth did, as the gang tries to stop that event from happening.
Ahem, allow me a second of: FERAL N FERAL N FERAL N FERAL N- ok, I'm done for now. As many have pointed out, this may be the moment that N killed Nori, and Uzi might have to relive through that experience as the absolute solver shows Uzi everything that has happened up until now. His smile is not the one we've seen up until now when he's in his murder drone mode, but more of a smirk. Another theory I came up with is that when Uzi becomes possessed by the absolute solver, perhaps by default, N does too. Uzi is now N's admin, and if the admin is corrupted, there is nothing to keep N's solver string in his ai from fully corrupting him. However, there's a hole here.
The X on the visor generally means that there is a string in the drone's core is faulty and not functioning. This is because when the solver string attempts to take possession of the DDs, the admin program switches it to false and gives the faulty os string sign on the visors. That has to mean the admin program is still up and running, which pushes the theory of this scene being a flashback of N killing Nori, more likely.
Uzi's eye has burst, it seems, just like Yeva's. So now the question is, why does it do that? Doll also covered her eye, perhaps to conceal the damage that is already there. Theory: this happens because the solver inside of the drones is constantly attempting to get out of the host. It has been seen that it does destroy the bodies from ep5. And it seems that the red goop is what Uzi's attempting to hold back on her eye. It might be oil, but what makes me believe otherwise is the fact that it doesn't look liquid-like enough. Granted, that scene is literally 1 second, so the movement that may be there is really hard to grasp.
Doll HAS MADE A RETURN! And she's fighting someone with knives is what it seems like. Thoughts on who it might be? Literally, anyone in the gang, there is not much to go off of here. But to dissect it further, it could be like this:
Uzi- because she teamed up with Tessa and a DD, and it seems like Doll and the gang have separate goals, which upsets Doll and causes the fight.
N- another DD that had caused a lot of pain and suffering for WD when they first arrived to copper-9. So why not get rid of him as well while she's at it.
Tessa- the main character that seems to be very suspicious about every action. We know very little about her, and even more so what happened to her post gala massacre. Perhaps Tessa discloses the idea of killing every drone that is on the list of the drones experimented on. This will include Yeva and, therefore, Doll.
Now as for THIS.
That is a drone, for certain, now as to who it is, is really hard to guess. There is clearly a helmet on the drone, so it kinda narrows it down. Routes:
This is part of a flashback:
Nori or Yeva- one of the stronger solver drones that needed a better way of controlling/containing them. Backed up by the balconies/cat walks that are on the corners of the screen.
Some other poor drones- An even crazier idea of mine would be that the people were, in fact, worshipping the absolute solver. This is what happens to the heretics. Either that, or this was some sick way of worshipping the solver.
This is real-life time: Doll is the number 1 candidate, how she got to be like this, though... there are some possibilities.
Doll's solver form is taking control/form.
Uzi and Doll had a fight (consciously or not, solver might have forced a fight), with this being the outcome.
It's late for me. The amount of crack theories that have been bouncing around in my head is unreal. More than half of them are probably most likely wrong. Once again, take all of my theories and yeet them into the stratosphere if you wish ^_^ These will be mostly here just to come back to and see how wrong I was about everything.
