I was bored and did a thing. Presenting all deleted laps per GP from the 2023 and 2022 seasons as recorded by the FIA.

It's very interesting to me that at all tracks more laps were deleted in 2023 than in 2022, although most problematic tracks in this regard stay the same (with the addition of Qatar). The question for me here is obviously as to why there were so many more track limits infringements during the past season compared to 2022 since there was no substantial reg change.

What for me is the gist of this is that they really need to do something about Austria. I'm willing to give Qatar the benefit of the doubt for now with the heat and all related problems this year.

And now identifying the worst offender, all deleted laps of the 2022 and 2023 season allocated per driver:

Can Alex get a prize, please, for making his own track two years in a row? And funny enough, Esteban is definitely in the lower ranks of number of deleted laps both years.
