GODDD I LOVE HEARING UR THOUGHTS!!! - i think tyler does show is softer side, but it comes gradually with the progression of their relationship, like it probably takes them FOREVER to start telling each other when they like or don’t like when the other does something. because it’s usually just carried out through fights. i feel like he gets sensitive when watching movies a lot, he hides this from the narrator a lot of the time, but the narrator catches him sometimes. i also think the time he is most sensitive is when they are lying in bed. the main thing that upsets him is when the narrator has to leave to go on work trips. because he can’t be more than 6ft away from this man at all times.

- honestly i think the way they apologise to each other is by using the others love language if that makes sense? for example if tyler was mad at the narrator for doing or not doing something, he would just do what tyler would have wanted (i have no idea if that makes any sense) because i think tyler’s love langue is acts of service.

for example if the narrator bought something for tyler, because he thought it would be something nice, and tyler fucking went off on him for how he’s just contributing to the consumerist american culture blah blah blah, maybe smacks him around a little just to get the point across, the narrator would get his money back for it and then steal something from the store. (and then coming home and letting tyler fuck him senseless) sorry my keyboard got possessed there that was so weird, anyway.

- but if the narrator was genuinely mad at tyler for something (which tbh i think would be very hard to do) he would want tyler to affirm him and have tyler show how much he means to him?

an example is like if the narrator was mad because tyler showed someone a bit too much attention in fight club, the narrator would just kind of sulk on the way home and not speak to tyler (because he is a jealous little bitch). and he would do this until tyler got the message, i think tyler would then, in a sarcastic tone but be deadly serious, tell him how much he means to him whilst hugging him from behind?

-yeah idk how accurate they would be, and both of those would be how they act in like the first year of their relationship :))

OTHER RANDOM HC’s!!! (some of them are ooc but this is how they act in my head OKAY?!):

- tyler EXCLUSIVELY chews bubble gum or fruit flavoured gum, specifically like strawberry or watermelon. when he eats some weird ass food like anchovy pizza or something, the narrator is like “you better fucking brush your teeth before you kiss me 😤“ and tyler just sighs and reaches into his jean pocket and pops a huge peice of bubblegum in his mouth and says “that’s the best you are getting” and then shoves his tongue down his throat.

- tyler would NEVER tell the narrator this but he likes the narrators penguin tie out of all of his ties, when he comes downstairs in the morning wearing it, tyler smiles into his coffee. he also pulls on it to give him a kiss as he leaves for work.

- the narrator has a polaroid of tyler in his wallet

- THEY HAVE MOVIE NIGHT IN THEIR LIVING ROOM EVERY WEEK!!! the theatre that tyler works at throws a shit ton of popcorn away because it’s going stale, so tyler carries home these HUGE bags of popcorn that they just have in-front of them to graze on when they are watching. tyler is spread out of the sofa with his head in the narrators lap :))

What is your deepest joy about writing?

ohhh this is a tough one. I think, for me, it's all about getting lost in another world. like, I'm happiest when I'm actively thinking about whichever story I'm writing nearly always, so when my real life kinda fades into the background lol. this kinda sounds like escapism I realize, but idk it's not that I want to escape from irl but rather that was excites me most is entirely detached from it? people I'll never meet, places I'll never visit, because they simply don't exist. there's something thrilling to me about that

ok so!! I started writing over ten years ago, when I was 13, and it was the funniest thing ever. I watched one of those parodies of 'Let It Go' which were super popular at the time, 'Let 'em Burn', and I was struck with the Inspiration hammer. I was neck-deep in my 'I hate everyone' phase, so the thought about telling a story about a girl with fire powers who just does not give a shit about anyone appealed to me immensely lol. I did actually finish writing that book, and all my relatives read it. fun times

but yeah, I remember how, at 14, I proclaimed to my mom I'll be a published author. still chasing that dream babey

there were definitely bumps, sure, and it had Everything to do with my literature teachers lol. they got into my head that I had to write Serious literature if I wanted to be a good writer, and fantasy, see, wasn't serious. I tried my very best to write literary stories without understanding what made literary stories good because I didn't like literary stories. that didn't go well and tbh nearly killed my passion for it. anyway fanfiction saved my life<3

I am now actively trying to get published and I hope that's where I go lol

What keeps you writing when you feel like giving up?

ok this will sound fake but I uhhh. actually never feel like giving up?? genuinely, once I started writing seriously again a few years ago, not once did I think that I should stop. sure, I have days when I feel like absolute shit, like nothing I write is good, but never do I think about giving up, because that's just not an option. if this book doesn't work out, then I'll try again with the next one. if the next one doesn't work out, I'll try again with the next next one. and so on and so forth. writing is engrained into my identity at this point, and only death will pry it away from me lol

1. whos the better cook?

theyre both awful at it but lance is slightly better on account of having the actual patience to cook!! gawain doesnt wanna wait for things to cook properly so theyre either burnt or undercooked skjdfhudsioj

3. are they into PDA? who initiates the most?

they LOVE pda it took lancelot a little bit to be comfortable with it but now he cant get enough of it!! gawain usually initiates just bc he craves physical touch constantly <3 they make the whole round table groan when theyve decided they cant be apart during meetings, and are sitting in the same seat <3 sometimes they get a little TOO into pda and are asked to leave the hall kjdsfhudsijpol

arthurs just trying to tell em abt some quests theyve got to go on and those two have their tongues down each others throats like dsjfhuiojdsk

11. who leaves notes in the others lunch? what do they say?

they both like to leave notes for each other!!! its mostly reminders of stuff like 'drink water' or 'youve got a meeting with this person at this time' bc they both have AWFUL memory but there will always be notes that say stuff like 'i love you' and 'youre the man i love most in the world'

also i think gawain would write random poetry for lancelot bc hes a sap <3 lancelot isnt as good at writing as gawain but knows he loves flowers so he starts pressing them for gawain as little gifts instead <3

22. love languages? how do they get around differences, if any?

gawain is BIG into physical touch and gift giving like those are SO important to him partly because he wasnt sure how to show he loved someone other than being physical and providing for them but theyre working on him expressing that in a more healthy way <3

lancelot LOVES words of affirmation and physical touch as well, but (and this is due to me hcing him as autistic) he gets overwhelmed really easily but thats just another thing theyre working on <3 they really doesnt clash too much with differing love languages except for physical touch because it can be overwhelming for lancelot if hes already overstimulated </3

25. what do they like about each other?

from a physical point of view they love EVERYTHING abt their partners body as its proof of the life theyve lived and everything theyve experienced, good or bad <3

on a more individual level they both love the others patience, since theyve not been shown a lot of patience or kindness in their lives so its great to have someone who will care about you like that <3 they also appreciate that their lives are so similar, since id imagine being some of arthurs best knights can be quite isolating (people either treat you with thinly veiled distain and jealously, or treat you like an authority) so its nice for them to have that person who understands the pressure of that situation and will treat you as lancelot or as gawain, not Sir Lancelot and Sir Gawain <3 overall its about them just feeling like they can be themselves with each other!!

34. how do they cheer each other up during sad times?

it can be difficult because they both def suffer from a myriad of mental and physical health issues but theyve got a system!!

luckily they rarely have episodes on the same day. if lancelot is feeling down he just wants gawains presence, and wants to be able to hear his voice. so gawain will just sit with lancelot and talk <3 doesnt matter if lancelot doesnt respond, gawain will keep this up until lancelots doing better <33 lancelot also just wants to hold him half the time as a grounding technique <3 the pressure is enough to bring him back half the time. gawain can be a bit more complicated bc hes not very good at the whole "acknowledging that i have emotions" thing. hes one of those people that if hes feeling a bit off in any way he just ignores it until his body is like WELL YOURE NOT IGNORING IT ANY LONGER and it takes him tf out sdkljfidoskp (hes just like me fr) since being w lancelot hes been working on actually listening to these cues and is getting better at it <3 its still hard tho. but when hes fully laid low either by mental or physical illness hes gotta fight the urge to isolate himself bc that just makes it worse, so he seeks out lancelot and just wants to be held thats all <3

39. do they get along with the others family? if not how do they deal with the others family?

ooooooo boy here we go sjdfihudsijpkl; ok so and i mean this is just canon but gawains family (minus gareth) HATE lancelot dskfjoidsp and they make it their personal mission to torment him. they dont do it when gawains there (they tried once and. never again. his wrath knew no bounds) lancelots tried EVERYTHING to bond with them and it just never works sjdfhusodij;l so the strat is just to not have lancelot be alone with them, gawains always gotta come with.

gawain gets along really well with lancelots family! minus galahad, who he thinks doesnt like him (hes neutral about gawain, at best) but all the others LOVE him and are very excited when he comes to family gatherings with lancelot <3 the lady of the lake is especially fond of him (she didnt used to be tho lmao)

40. who is the skilled shopper for the holidays? who always waits till last minute?

gawain is def better at it!!! hes had YEARS of practice and is also a high strung perfectionist when it comes to gift giving (hes a bit of a people pleaser so its gotta be perfect) he starts planning gifts MONTHS in advance, same goes with any drinks or food thats needed like hes out here drafting up entire menus for things kdsjfhusodijkl and he gets SO stressed oml

lancelot is also stressed but in the opposite direction! he COMPLETELY forgets abt any holidays or birthdays until the last minute and has to frantically call gareth for help (the other orkneys just laughed and hung up on him) so cue him and gareth trying to find out whats even open this late and (quietly) prep so they dont wake up gawain but it all works out bc even tho lancelot was NOT prepared he picks out fantastic gifts that gawain LOVES every year without fail <3 lancelot please get yourself a calender tho like dskjfidsk

22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?

Hmmm. I don't think anyone's ever been severely mischaracterised, but I wanna say June? On account of her probably being my most "popular" little guy and also my own tendency to draw her more silly or explosive side. I think it's easy to interpret her as reckless or fearless or stupid when she really is none of those things; she is a risk-minimiser and an anxious mess and pretty smart! also dumb sometimes, yes, but in the way that being smart and stupid go hand in hand lol.

29. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they’re going?

Kala. She might tell Ali so he won't be worried but otherwise. why would she tell anyone? it's nothing special and she can take care of herself. Lilian might too, though it's more likely pre-Kirkwall; what are the chances in Kirkwall of any "abandoned" house actually being abandoned at night?? And if she thought it wasn't safe enough to go without telling someone then she would simply. not go alone.

30. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection?

Lilian, i think. She tends to get embarrassed about her vain and self-indulgent sides so she'd be the most likely to hide a plushie collection. She does keep her giant dragon plush that she got gifted on display though

YES YES YE !!!!! i think other people have talked about, them tho, but anyway <33333

baby tara having a super fragile health!!!! she was a premature baby, having to spend her first few weeks of life in the ICU, and ever since she was little she had many, many trips to the ER and stayed overnight at the hospital many many times

tara was held back a year when she was seven, following a decline of her health after her dad left, spending most of that year at the hospital or at home

tara being bullied because of her asthma (the kids hated that she got to skip gym) and because she was older than them. mindy, chad, wes and amber were her protectors (specially amber, with her aggressive nature, and chad, because he's a sweetie)

she's had very bad sleeping problems, as well, and sam would always help her when it was time to go to bed (aka the lullaby headcanon :3) when sam started distancing herself from her, tara started to sing to herself

^ after scream 5's events, she finally got medicated for her insomnia, as well as for her depression and anxiety that stem from her ptsd

abandonment issues???? anger issues??? repressing every single emotion she's ever had??? yes

tara having hallucinations? amber being the voices in her head??? yes

amber being her first kiss and her first crush. i have this entire headcanon abt how i think the first kiss moment would go actually but heheheheh i wrote a lot. they were a big will they won't they in the group. she never told anyone about their kisses, not even sam, when sam returned.

^ she misses amber. so much. sometimes she opens amber's tumblr simply to reread her thoughts, only to become overwhelmed by the pure guilt of missing her. amber tried to kill her. amber killed a lot of people. amber didn't really love her. did she? she hates it.

she struggles a lot with her interpersonal relationships because she doesn't know how to balance depending on someone and taking care of herself. she either doesn't want to be touched by anyone or clings to them like her life depends on them. took her a long time (and a lot of therapy) to come to a balance

her unhealthy coping mechanisms coming from her being so used to being on her own that she's overwhelmed by the idea of sam caring about her. she's not used to having a parental figure trying to take care of her. this period has her pushing sam away from her only to cling to her at the next second with the thought of her leaving (sam is so, so patient with her)

tara quitting therapy and physical therapy whenever she thought she was okay and normal only to return months later because she feels so bad with the realization she'll never be normal. if she ever was.

HATES crying in front of people. sam's the only one she allows to see her cry

painkiller addiction. definitely. wonder how sammy would react to it :3

she used to draw a lot. but with the hand injury (she's left handed) she had to stop for a bit due to her pain and overall struggle with Holding the pencil. this was one of her biggest motivations to return to physical therapy

she sings a little bit, even if not as much as sam, and is trying to learn how to play the guitar (it's hard, because of her left hand and all, but kirby helps her :3)

she can't cook to save her life. wes and judy would always offer to have meals with her because christina was always out. and she used to sleep at amber's almost every night.

very picky eater and this is why it was so hard for her to cook. would spend entire days without eating if she couldn't have the specific things she wanted to

My top 1 mission is definitely "Break on through". SO building for Bell's character- can't word it enough that I love seeing the persona of "Bell" crashing into and around its own actions- the world crafted gets so chaotic and hell yeah how couldn't I love that mission????? Also it can go different ways and that's so awesome i love that shi fr. My favorite path was choosing the opposite to Adler's directions. Reactions didn't need to be that funny hwgajshsh "yeah bell you killed yourself, what'd you do afterwards? 🙂"

Gotta add "Brick on the wall" and "Desperate Measures" because stealth missions <333 game play wise I love them I like crouching around for half an hour :D also Belikov is my man fr he's the only real 💔

🧙 whats merlins deal in your own words? this is an EXTREMELY watered down version of how i interpret/portray merlin but basically hes extremely old jaded and slightly bitter and makes this everyones problem by being an ass <3 hes like this bc of lots and lots of trauma from his childhood that he just never unpacked lmao he does care abt people but theyre. few and far between and he shows it in odd ways to say the least!
