Okay, now he's really just messing with you. He might not even give a truthful answer, but a part of you is secretly hoping you would be made privy to that information. You've spent enough time with him to start noticing his little habits. The way his eyes would drift off to a whole other plane at moments of silence, the way his practiced smirk would be replaced with a thin line in a split second once he was caught off guard, the brief moments of vulnerability he would unintentionally show you the more often you stayed by his side amidst his frivolous nature, all of those moments made you believe that you were slowly starting to creep into his closed off heart. Albeit slowly.

Regardless, you think of a response.

Driven by instinct, you reached out to gently take the hand he used to cage your face in and gently clasped it between yours. Treating it like a delicate thing, you trailed your fingers over the rings embracing his skin as your ears picked up the sound of his breath hitching. He didn't expect that kind of reaction.

Entranced, you began to talk.

“It’s probably just conjecture but… with the way you act around others… you're not looking for commitment.”

That much was obvious.

Nica just lets you talk first. You just seemed so enraptured by the sight of his hand and rings, even he found it difficult to break you out of that trance.

“It’s probably a reminder.”

As if bursting you out of that bubble, Nica breaks into a laughing fit, and you blink in confusion like you had just woken from a dream.

“Interessant, Robin. No one's ever told me that before.”

You were quite hopeless, psychoanalyzing him like this. Entertained by your answer, the hand you were holding moves to grab you by the wrist as he then brought his other hand to remove a ring resting on his index finger.

“Wh- Hey!”

The silver material shined faintly in the light of the sun’s rays as he eyed the ring before planting a kiss on it, slipping it into your own ring finger.

“You could have just told me you wanted one of my rings for yourself.”

“I wasn't-”

“Return this ring to me and put it on this lonely little ring finger of mine if you really think I fear commitment like what you're assuming.”

You do not understand what thought is running in that mind of his.

“I could just be not in the mood of wearing one there, but you and your adorable little head might start flapping to a thought I'm completely unaware of too. Feel free to keep this one if you wish, as well. I can always get more.”

With one last enigmatic gaze into your eyes, Nica lets go of you and stands up with his bowl of cherries, continuing to snack on them as he leaves the parlor, and you alone.

“Bis dann, Robin.”

You were left to your own devices, and you looked down at the trembling hand that had its ring finger seized by a foreign object glinting in the light.

As you tried to rationalize the way your heart skipped a beat at the way he challenged you, you gulped as your eyes turned resolute to look at the door where Nica left.

“You'll regret that, Nica Schwartz.”

Nica had left the room with a smile different from his usual one, with none bearing witness to the change.

For all the focusing you gave his hands...

...you failed to notice that it was only his right ring finger that didn't have any rings.

Note: I really wanted to try out writing, but this kinda sucks. If you do end up reading it, constructive criticism would be highly appreciated ♡ Also, English isn't my first language, so I'm sorry for all the mistakes.

The frantic ringing of your doorbell snapped you out of focus. You've been so immersed in your studies that you haven't even noticed the shift of the weather.

When you stood up to see who's at the door, the view from your window caught your eye - a huge blizzard outside. Due to global warming, the winters have become harsher.

"I'm coming!" You yelled out after hearing the doorbell buzz once again. You weren't expecting any guests today.

"Surprise" Nervous laughter escapes Jisung's mouth "You didn't expect me to be here, right? I wasn't planning on visiting you either, but unfortunately, the weather had other plans- And-" The boy spilled out streams of sentences without even cathing his breath.

You gave him a warm smile, hoping that it will help him calm down a bit and that it will hide your surprise and the lump forming at your throat. You aren't the best with words, and Jisung isn't the best with stressful or unexpected situations.

Jisung laughs nervously again. "Basically, I came to the university because I had forgotten my laptop there earlier, but when I walked outside, there was a huge blizzard! And you are the only one I know who lives around this area, so I was wondering if I could stay here until the weather settles down." It seems that he has memorised and repeated these words a number of times because he recited it so fast.

"Uhm.. Sure, come in." You move aside to let him in. Han was one of your best friends. You always did university projects together at your apartment, and afterwards you'd end up watching horror movies. Like two pieces of a puzzle, you clicked so well together, so it came as a shock to you when he just stopped talking to you. It was like you turned invisible. That was three months ago and now things seem a bit... awkward.

"Did you eat dinner already?" You inquire after the silence between you two became deafening. Your anger dissolved some time ago, all that was left was the emptiness and confusion.

"No, I haven't yet. I've been so stressed about finding my laptop that I totally forgot about eating." He pouts.

You grin. "Alright, I'll cook us some noodles then." You say as you take out a pan. "Could I be of any help?" Jisung fidgets with his hoodie strings until you nod with approvement. It seems like it's going to be an interesting experience.

"I'm sorry I came here unannounced. I completely disregarded the blizzard warning because my laptop is a priority." Han swiftly chops the chives. It seems like he's forgotten that he ignored you for three months straight, as if you were a ghost.

"It's alright, I wasn't really busy anyways."

"Ah right, what were you up to? It's so quiet here."

"Just studying. I wanted to prepare for the upcoming exam on friday."

"Friday?! Woah, you started early. No wonder you always get top marks. But don't you get lonely studying here alone?"

"I don't really mind."

Soon, your apartment was filled with the smell of noodles and the sound of Jisungs voice and laughter. Was your apartment always so bright? Or is it just Jisung? You can't deny that you've missed hanging out with him, and you feel like your throat is suddenly scratchy. Were you the one at fault? Did your friendship crumble because of you?

"Thank you for the food." Your classmate smiled brightly as he finished washing the dishes, and you cleaned the kitchen table. After finishing the meal, he has been nervously glancing at his watch every few minutes. It currently showed 10pm.

"When is this blizzard going to end?" The question is directed towards himself as he scrolls through his phone. And then he looks up at you a bit worried. You turn your eyes toward the screen:

Biggest blizzard up to date!!! Experts say that it is going to last at least until morning of the next day. We advise all citizens to stay in shelter!!!

"Next morning?! What am I going to do? Taxis are also not taking requests, and busses are paused..." Jisung runs his hand through his hair, making it look messier. You used to braid them into tiny braids.

You try your best to come up with solutions, but find only one. "...You can stay over if you want." You know him well enough to know that he wouldn't do anything weird.

Jisungs eyes are wide open. You notice the way light reflects on them, shimmering like the stary skies. "Are you serious? I couldn't - I can't, I've already barged in here unannounced, I really don't want to be more of a bother! No way!" His cheeks flush in a bright red color.

"You're not a bother, I promise! But it's alright if you're not comfortable, I won't force you."

He lets out a defeated sigh. "Are you really sure you're okay with me staying here?"

"Yes, I'm very sure." You reply with a smile. Your throat feels scratchy again. You never used to be so polite with each other, but now it seems as if there's a wall between you two... Three months is a long time. But you remember that there's another problem at hand.

As a broke university student, you found the best place you could live in, near the university and for a very low price - sounds like a good deal, right? Well, not really, since it's also pretty cramped up here. There is a tiny kitchen, a bathroom which looks like it was made for dwarves and the smallest bedroom, which barely fits your bed so your wardrobe and desk take up the rest of that poor excuse of a bedroom. You usually didn't complain since it's a good deal for the price, and you're happy you even have a kitchen, but you've never had anyone sleep over, which means that you'll have to share your bed.

"Well, you can go brush your teeth, you'll find a new toothbrush in the pink cabinet. And I'll look for some oversized sweats for you." It wasn't hard to find some sweatpants and an oversized T-shirt which wasn't very oversized on Jisung.

Currently, you both have changed into comfier clothes and brushed your teeth, so you are now standing in front of the single bed.

A nervous laugh escapes your mouth. "Maybe I should've invested in a more expensive apartment...". The bed was fairly small but big enough to fit both of you. However, you couldn't promise full comfort.

"Let's try to maintain a distance." Jisung also laughed nervously. You were glad that the light was off, otherwise, you wouldn't be able to hide the warmth spreading over your cheeks. Jisung has been one of your closest friends for a long while, but you've always maintained this invisible line. Sleeping in the same bed seems like crossing it. But then again, you can't really call this a friendship anymore.

These thoughts followed you into bed as Han laid down next to you. Your mind was louder than the snowstorm raging outside your window. Why did your friendship fall apart? You had this question the whole evening.

"...Hey, Jisung?" You feel a lump in your throat.

"Hm? What's up?" How can he act like nothing's wrong? You pinch yourself to keep your composure.

"I was wondering..." Your throat feels tight and you feel very warm. "What happened three months ago?" You feel your eyes getting watery as you sit up and turn torwards his side in the dark.

"Oh." Silence. "Well, I've been busy for a while, so I couldn't really hang out."

"You're a bad liar." You scoff. "Did I turn invisible? Was I suddenly non-existent to you? Did I do something wrong? Please tell me, Ji" When did you start crying? Was the room always this stuffy? Jisung seems to notice because he sits up.

"H-Hey, don't cry.." His demeanor immediately switches when he realises you're crying.

"Just answer, please." You sound a bit desperate. "I've missed you, Ji. You don't know how many nights I've traced back our conversations and analyzed all the things I've said, trying to find what was wrong. Did I offend you? Do I talk too much?" You finally took the weight off your shoulders as your tears turned into sobs.

Suddenly you are pulled into a warm comforting embrace.

"You never did anything wrong, I was just being foolish... I love you... but I didn't want to ruin our friendship. I thought if I hid my one-sided love well enough, I'd protect our friendship. Turns out I just hurt you more. I'm an idiot and I'm so sorry..." You feel him lay his head in the crook of your neck. The wet patches reveal that he's also crying.

"You're right. You are an idiot." You move away from his arms to look at him. "You're an idiot for thinking that your love is one-sided." You sniffle as your tears have stopped. Jisung tenses up and looks at you.

"So does that mean...?" He looks at you completely surprised.

"I love you too." You wrap your arms around his neck, and he returns the hug. You feel the warmth radiating off him. "So please, never ever ignore me like that again. Promise?"

"I promise."

As the blizzard continued, you two had a long needed talk. And by the time that natural disaster came to an end, both of you were cuddled up like a pair of cats, sleeping soundly.

But in all seriousness, for now I’m just delighted by their relationship. Every piece of info we get about them makes me smile, and I love how Vil gets very obviously soft every time he talks about Eric. Twst is once again very good with how it writes different kinds of parents, and I feel like we don’t get a lot of Erics in shows and games. Somehow it feels very refreshing.

In terms of shipping, you know we’re not the ones to shy away from this kind of ships wink wink And Vil gets so cute when he talks about it, and when he was angry that the paparazzi wouldn’t leave them alone was adorable… So everything is possible! Note: I'm sorry, but when I saw that video, I just had to write something. The Seungyoun brainrot is of unimaginable proportions today. I honestly think this smut is a little bit cringe, but I don't care. All I have on my mind is woodz in a suit with his blonde wig and cheeky little grin and I needed an outlet. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk x

Note 2: Also this might be the only woodz smut where I don't mention the kissing or licking or otherwise admiring of the tattoo on Seungyoun's belly.

Synopsis: bratty woodz takes control (x gn reader)

Word count: ± 1k

Genre: not really smut because it cuts off before the good stuff (sorry), but probably beyond suggestive

Warnings: fighting for dominance, cheeky Seungyoun, tie-tugging, lowkey choking, reader's arms are (gently) twisted behind their back, reader being handcuffed at the end

"Did you really think you could tease me without any consequences?" Seungyoun's voice was low and hazy as he said those words. He had you firmly pressed into the mattress as he hovered over you, looking at you with fire in his eyes. "If you wanted to have control tonight, you should've tried harder."

Earlier that evening, Seungyoun had come home from shooting the live video for Ready to Fight. He still wore the suit and blonde wig when he came home and there was something about it that turned you on like crazy. You wanted nothing more than to have him beneath you in that suit, the fake blonde hair all messy and in his face, him whimpering and begging for you to touch him.

However, things didn't go exactly according to plan. You had greatly underestimated just how needy Seungyoun was this particular evening. At first he played along with you. He somewhat pretended to have an attempt at taking control, but didn't mind at all when you got on top of him. But the longer you refrained from touching him where he wanted it, the more he began to struggle.

Even when he asked you nicely, you wouldn't touch him, because you just loved the look of his suit too much. After fifteen minutes of begging, Seungyoun ran out of patience. All of a sudden, he grabbed your wrists and flipped you on your back, pinning your arms above your head as he got on top of you.

"I've got you now," he grinned, his eyes glowing with need and anticipation. You couldn't help but shudder a little. Even on top of you like this, he looked magnificent. Yet, you couldn't just give up that quickly. What would be the fun in that? You couldn't risk him taking off that gorgeous suit already.

"You know I don't surrender easily," you grinned and you managed to pull one of your hands free from his grip. You quickly pushed him off of you and now you both sat up, ready to defend yourselves. Seungyoun looked you up and down and chuckled. "Hm, so you want to play huh? That's okay. I'm ready to fight."

The two of you stared at each other for a little while, trying to anticipate what the other person would do. Suddenly Seungyoun reached out to grab your arm again, but you dodged his attack and managed to take a hold of his tie instead. With a harsh tug, you pulled him towards you by his tie, taking him by surprise. This worked as a perfect distraction, buying you just enough time to grab his wrists and push him on his back.

You quickly got on top of him and pinned his arms next to his body. Instead of looking defeated like you expected, Seungyoun seemed rather delighted with the situation. "And what are you gonna do now, huh?" He showed you a devilish smirk and pushed his leg up in between yours, pressing his thigh against your sensitive area, causing you to let out a surprised moan.

Maybe you had riled him up too much. Even when he was pinned down beneath you, he continued to grin happily and knew exactly how to get back at you.

"Now be honest with me," he continued while he pushed his leg up a little bit more, putting even more pressure on your sweet spot, "This look turns you on right? You pervert."

You immediately felt your ears and cheeks getting hot when he exposed you like this. You wanted to look away, but that would only add fuel to the fire. With just those words, he had made you completely vulnerable. Despite physically overpowering him, you weren't in control at all.

"Shut up and behave!" you growled in a desperate attempt to take the lead again. Of course, Seungyoun continued to grin at you and pouted his lips in a cheeky manner, as if he was making fun of you. "And what if I don't?" he murmured through his pouted lips. You gave him an angry look and wrapped your hand around his neck. "I'll tie you up and edge you for hours," you threatened.

Still, he didn't seem bothered at all. Even worse; he was now actively laughing at you. That was when you realized you messed up. He had riled you up on purpose, hoping you'd choke him so you could no longer pin his arm into the mattress.

Before you got the chance to grab his arm again, Seungyoun already threw you on your stomach and (gently) twisted your arms behind your back. Hovering over you once again, he bent down to bring his lips closer to your ear.

"You can't stop me, sucker."

He reached out to grab something from the night stand while he held your arms behind your back with his other hand. A shiver went down your spine when you recognized the familiar sound of the handcuffs. "Why don't you turn around for me, darling? Unless you want to spend the rest of the night on your stomach..."

He let go of your arms, giving you the freedom to do as you pleased again. Even though, theoretically, you had the chance to do something stupid, both of you knew you would oblige his orders. Seungyoun was clearly determined to be in charge today and the more you'd struggle now, the worse his punishment would be. And thus, with embarrassment and defeat written all over your face, you obediently rolled onto your back for him.

His tie rested on your chest and the long blonde hair from his wig brushed against your cheek as he bent himself over you to attach the handcuffs to the bed frame. A little shiver went down your spine and you squirmed with anticipation. You really made him crazy this time, but hopefully he would be somewhat merciful.

Once both of your wrists were cuffed to the bed, he looked down at you with a big, mean grin and he stroked your cheek.

"Now what was that about edging you were saying earlier?"

13) oh 100% agree!! as someone who already isn't super interested in fashion/pop–culture, i find it very hard to look at the men's outfits and be blown away by any of them LOL but the women?? insane. was losing it over lana and zendaya's fits tonight ngl. hunter had me in a chokehold with last year's <3 tangent alright i always say this to my friends but i'm just jealous in general that women have so many more options in terms of clothes like.

okay listen i know i can leave my house in a skirt or crop top or whatever and a lot more guys are def starting to feel comfortable doing so. but i also enjoy not worrying about getting jumped or looked at funny! it's a lot safer than it used to be to do so, even in my small ass conservative town i'll sometimes put on some dangly earrings or a bit of rodrick–liner SJKDG but that doesn't mean it's normalized yet or whatever. point being that i wish it was because men's outfits would be sm more exciting at these fashion events if they had a wider range of options too!

but that aside, absolutely. until that changes, really it's not that hard for the men who are going with women (who don't want to go crazy with their outfits/who are more lowkey like you said) to just. wear something nice and on theme that compliments their partner's outfit and they'll be FINE. anything is better than something boring with no effort; effort doesn't have to equal crazy and fancy and elaborate. like austin's 2022 look has always been a standout to me because it was still a really nice look (even if it was simple) and it also worked so well because of who he had at his side. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but i also literally don't know shit ab fashion so i rly shouldn't be speaking on it LOL. i just know some things make me go oh no and some make me go YUM

OKAY THAT WAS SO MUCH I'M SORRY. i just felt really bad bc some of those have been sitting in my inbox for months bc i was waiting to compile them all into a post like this :-) but also one last thing, idk if it's bc of me stepping out of mota to talk ab the emmy stuff/the met this week, but i've had a couple gossip/drama(?) asks and i just wanna say rn that i won't be posting stuff like that, even though they've been worded kindly! one, because i rly only post about fic/brainrot/mota–fandom related stuff here (aside from rare exceptions like today lol). and two, because as much as i adore our boys and try to keep up with the things they're up to, i personally don't vibe with speculating about them (esp if it's in a way that kinda. forgets they are grown men who probably don't think twice ab some of the stuff that people think they do lolol). i have no issue with people who do like to talk ab that stuff, i follow update blogs and think it's totally fine as long as it's done respectfully! i just don't feel like talking about gossip fits the vibe here and frankly i don't care enough about what goes on behind the scenes half the time; i'm just here to create and support and be insane. <33 that's all, just wanted to say that so ppl aren't waiting to have those asks answered/aren't sending more in! x

tbqh i‘m not a big fan of Janey and/or Barb being the sole purpose and reason Coop stayed sane all those years. obviously, in a lot of ways he hasn’t processed the betrayal of his belief system and the hurt, let alone getting closure. And I mean, from where he stands at the end of s1 and from what we learn about him, it makes total sense that he’s so driven to find his family.

A message that I (personally) would find a lot more compelling though would be a possibility of a new life and closing the door on the past completely? In a way dwelling on the past keeps ourselves from healing, I think, and I really wish for Cooper to find meaning in the present and truly ‘take it as it comes’.

Ghoulcy brainrot aside, I think that it could be a nice way, narratively speaking, for Coop to let himself be soft and vulnerable and learn to trust someone (Lucy potentially) again? Like, he’s been in survival mode for the last 200 years, and there’s no question that there’s a lot to resolve with Vault-Tec, Barb, Hank etc. But I think it would be all backwards if his character arc would lead to him being a father again, without acknowledging how he changed in the meantime.

I mean, there’s a difference what a character THINKS they want, and what they really need. And I don’t see this tidy, neat, narrative bow of Cooper and Janey reuniting and going back to their old dynamic, happening. Which also completely negates Janey’s change and perspective (we still don’t know what happened to her and how she got separated from Cooper. Maybe she was lied to? there’s so many possibilities)

Sorry. All this rambling, just to say that I like the idea of Cooper finding his new purpose in the changed, new world, that is very different from the past, just like he is a changed man. And I hope that his character arc in s2 helps him get closure instead of ‘’’seemingly’’’ giving him what he wants, as in his family.

I agree that I wouldn't like the idea of it as his sole purpose in the ultra-literal sense I mentioned of it being the physical only reason he's alive, ie: he'd go feral if he got answers. That rubs me the wrong way, I think, because I feel like it implicitly denies the inherent value of his life and suggests he can't or shouldn't survive finding closure. Or, like I said, that he's 'already dead' and more like a ghost with unfinished business than someone who can find a way forward. Which I hugely dislike, thematically, because I always want the possibility of hope and healing to exist or what's the point investing in anything. I want characters to feel like they have narrative worth beyond their quests or immediate goals. He's been symbolically resurrected already because we meet him literally rising from his grave, and I want that to be resurrection not reanimation. I think he's alive and therefore still capable of choices and therefore still capable of healing etc etc.

They could take it in a hopeful direction (he's alive and can change) or in a bittersweet or tragic direction (Cooper died and the Ghoul is either his ghost or the wasteland is his Hell, he can serve only as a messenger or vengeful spirit).

I don't agree it's going backwards for him to 'become' a father again. He's never stopped being a father. He's the same person and will always be a father whether Janey is alive or not. To me, healing for him inevitably involves becoming more like he used to be, but that's not going backwards, that's reconnecting with his authentic self. It doesn't mean the intervening years are wiped away and nothing he's gone through since then matters, it just means he realises he buried parts of himself that he needs to be whole. That he doesn't have to let the wasteland turn him into its creature, there's ways to adapt and survive without discarding your soul.

He's already being confronted with that and already questioning himself just from the interaction he's had with Lucy so far. She's a mirror and a challenge for him and she's already showing him there might be another path, that it wasn't inevitable he ended up where he is now. He doesn't have to play this role he felt forced into to survive, it's not the only way.

I don't think you ever leave the past behind. It's part of you. To me it's not a binary between nostalgia and trying to 'go back' or drawing a line under it all and getting closure. His past is something he has to reclaim and reintegrate, not something to 'let go'.

If they're reunited, it will obviously never be the same, but that doesn't mean having a relationship with his daughter isn't something he should want. He'll always want that, that's a fundamental part of his identity. I don't think it's a simple bow to tie things in at all, because the most difficult part about it is that they'll have to figure out a way forward in the changed world. They can't go back to the way things were before. He can't go back, he can only reconcile.

I'd argue it'd be more of a challenge to his character if she's alive, because he'll have to deal directly with the reality of who he really is under the role he's taken on and be vulnerable just in order to even talk to her. If she's not alive, someone else would have to force him to do that.

Which I think can be Lucy, of course, because she's already made him reflect and confronted him just by being herself, but she can never create the emotional reckoning Janey can. The way his arc is going could be equally leading up to a reunion and a crisis or to him having to accept Janey's death. I think either is valid and possible, though again I think her being alive is more challenging and thus more likely.

If Janey is dead, that puts ten times more weight on his relationship with Lucy and makes their intimacy or lack thereof completely determinate of his trajectory, because he'd have no one else left to make him vulnerable. But like. He already dropped his exaggerated persona several times, including for Lucy simply because he empathised with her. I feel like he's more aware of what he's doing by playing a character to survive, and his authentic self is much closer to the surface, than people generally suppose.

Tag game: eight shows to get to know me

I was tagged by @scienceoftheidiot and @goneadrift (thank you!! 🥺💕), and now the deal is that I get to rant about a couple of shows I like, so let's get straight to it!

1. House M.D.

- Knowing how many seasons are there in this show, I think it says something that I purposefully rewatched the full thing several times, and I probably will do it again at some point. Many characters from this series have a special place in my heart, and oh boy do I love myself a good medical drama sometimes. + the different medical cases are just very interesting for me to observe, even though I am by no means a medical specialist, let's say I know a thing or two from this field x)) (and some of you are probably aware of that, ahah)

2. Lethal Weapon

- This one is another one of these shows that I occasionally come back to for a rewatch, the chemistry between two main characters is amazing, and the main plotline is pretty good imo, + it's a classic detective-involving series, where, granted, not every case is super intriguing or complicated, but I think the characters and their development and relationships with each other - all this usually goes first when determining a series that I'll most probably like, and it delivers that part for sure! (Yes I used this specific gif because now I can't stop picturing this, but with Royais + Hughes, lolol, sorry I have a brainrot)

3. Lucifer

- Ohohoho this one was one of the first quite long-term obsessions for me - I was watching it with my good friend as it was coming out (pretty sure starting from like, season 2 we began to watch it as it was airing, or at least I was and then I dragged this friend along for the ride, ahah), and I remember having so much fun with it - making theories, trying to predict the direction for the next season, simping over the main cast, being (more often unironically than not) frustrated with love triangles, all the good stuff. I also really like the soundtrack used in the series, and, of course, I have to mention the fact that its main leads are a blonde badass detective who is actually a sweetheart and her goofy dark-haired bastard-certified material partner who can actually be very scary and powerful to anyone but her :333

Go figure if I have a type or not, right (omg I just realized she also has a cute pet name and it's "detective")

4. Fleabag

- This one was such a pleasant surprise for me, the further I was watching the more invested into it I was getting, and in the end it turned out to be such an emotional rollercoaster, while also being able to handle a balance between more serious scenes and great humor really well. The romance plotline turned out to be very interesting too - overall, it's a great pretty short series that I can definitely recommend for people to check out at some point (I was indeed very happy when I found out @goneadrift was watching it too, hehe)

5. Sherlock (the BBC one)

- Honestly, this one is associated with many good memories for me - we used to watch it for a couple of years in a row with my parents during New Year, and it was like, one of the highlights of our celebration. Life just seemed so much easier these days, and I always remember them with warmth and joy. But! Apart from the sappy stuff - I genuinely think it's a nice modern AU Sherlock adaptation, hehe, as always, I pay a lot of attention to the chemistry between the characters, especially the main cast, and I think pretty much everyone nailed it - I find the characters from this series to be very enjoyable to watch. The other point that I want to mention here is the directing - I remember myself being very impressed by some of the shots and directing/editing choices they made there, and, of course, the main soundtrack is now pretty much engraved into my memory, hehe

(So yeah, aside from the last season, which I don't think is that bad, but definitely not as good as the earlier ones imo, it's a great show!)

6. Elementary

- Surprise surprise, another Sherlock adaptation involving detective storyline(s), who would've thought, right? Honestly, I don't remember a lot about it, since I haven't rewatched it in a looong time, ahah, but, believe it or not, I still love it and have a couple of good memories associated with it. Used to watch it during weekends back in the day when I still watched TV, lolol, but yeah, I think it's a pretty unique Sherlock adaptation, and you can definitely have fun watching it!

7. Forever

- That one is unexpected, definitely not my usual series of choice, but surprisingly I finished it pretty quickly and was glad I decided to give it a shot x)

(For the record - it's a series about a guy who works in the morgue while trying to find how to get rid of his immortality curse 👀👌).

8. Fullmetal Alchemist

- Gonna follow the lead of @scienceoftheidiot and add this one on the list too, because my god this series has me in a chokehold. Specifically Royai stuff of course, but I think in general this is the kind of anime (both FMA and FMAB btw) people who are generally not that much into anime can enjoy (I am saying as I am, apparently, one of these people, ahah). It's just a great story with a great cast and lovely imagery and soundtrack, I mean, what else can you possibly need? (Meanwhile here I am, going absolutely insane every time I think about my two beloved war criminals kissing)
