✨Aries Season✨
🔥Aries season will be fiery. We are already have mercury in aries so the communication is much more direct maybe a little aggressive. You can also get into the fight with someone so much quicker
🔥Aries is the first sign of zodiac sign it's all about the energy it's all about you . Aries is called to be very selfish because it's much more focused on themself than on others.
🔥Aries energy helps you believe in yourself and take confident action as a leader. Throughout this Aries season, ask yourself: How can you show up with confidence? Where do you need to show leadership? When do you need to take action? Fire is the vital spark, the soul, the life-force; it embodies risk-taking, leadership, passion, confidence, action, motivation, energy, and sparkle. Aries season is an excellent time to start a new job or hobby. You may choose to break a bad habit and begin a healthy one. It's time to hit the refresh button.
✨Mercury in Aries will remain in the sign of Aries until May 15. Mercury in Aries will bring a much more direct, open and fiery energy. They will speed up events and things will develop quickly. But you can quickly quarrel with someone or say something thoughtlessly.

☆ミ what are you manifesting in february || pick-a-card reading (timeless)
Hello my beautiful star souls and welcome to my new Pick-A-Card reading. I'm coming back with my weekly messages for the collective, fully recharged and passionate about delivering guidance from the Spirit and any entity that wants to come through. I hope you're doing well and sincerely smile from the bottom of your heart full of joy, happiness and love.
Take a few deep breaths and let your intuition guide you towards a certain pile. Choose a picture and read your interpetation down below.
Only for entertainment purposes. Take what resonates and leave everything else behind.
,。・:*:・゚☆ Pile 1
Some sort of a big opportunity coming to you. You've been praying for this one because it directs towards your soul's passion and desire. Especially if you've been meaning to start some sort of a creative business or just simply allow yourself to be bold and move towards that passion despite the fear and negative thoughts of losing this game. There's a message here to strongly communicate what it is that you truly want for yourself. For some, I feel like an important conversation with parents is about to happen. You've been planning it, for some reason feeling uncertain if they'll get you but Spirit is encouraging you to do that. The conversation will go well. For some, I feel like they hide their passion from friends/family because they don't want to be misunderstood or laughed at. You won't be. You're never alone and the month of February will prove you that. You deserve to live this life according to your desires, wants and needs and be supported and loved for that. If you want to paint, paint; if you want to sing and produce your own music - do that. No matter how bad or simply disgusting it will seem to you. This talent of yours is a gift from ancestors. Don't be afraid to show your progress with the loved ones - they'll love it, that's for sure. Even if you're just a beginner or only about to start it - please, if you feel called to talk and share this goal of yours with someone, do that. I see you receiving support and financial opportunities (your parent giving your money to start this bussiness or a friend gifting you some tools if you've been wanting to start crochet and etc). Communication this month will lead to a lots of opportunities. No wonders, it's Aquarius season! It's about emracing yourself and your nature, being surrounded with mind-like people. Another main blessing for you is that you'll move through this month in the state of 'flow', intuitively knowing what to do and smoothly going with your progress. You will finally stop biting yourself for any mistakes or setbacks and you will just enjoy the process by embracing the challenges with inner peace and fulfillment. Energy of this pile feels like floating on a water surface - just this simple but rich feeling of letting go of any resistance and just being, living, cocreating with the Universe. Good for you!
,。・:*:・゚☆ Pile 2
My sweethearts! I will bite if you won't love yourself this month enough! I'm seeing so much confidence and determination for you in February. For some it may be a career advancement, for others - excellent grades and success in the choosen field (especially with anything that is somehow relates to fashion, self-care and beauty products). My card literally says 'A very happy ending!' The main message for you is to let go. Just let go of the past situations that made you, for some reason, believe that you're not good enough and get these grades, get this promotion, take that leap of faith and for once, just really believe in yourself. You have no idea how beautiful and capable you are. The next month is bringing you this inner transformation that you've been needed in order to move on, to really grip on that self-control and take important steps towards your goal. If you felt exhausted and tired all the time in January, I'm seeing change here as well. Any setbacks, delays or that constant worry that you feel nonstop is based on your lack of self-confidence and belief in yourself and your capability. Get out of your head, journal more. You'll feel more confident and motivated, you'll receive lots of recognition and praise from others not only for your looks but also for your hard work and growth. It'll get better, I promise you. Just hang in there, angel.
,。・:*:・゚☆ Pile 3
You're on receiving end this month. I'm seeing an opportunity to travel, recharge and come back even stronger than before. This is especially significant, if you're 'the mother figure" in your friends group or just literally a mother of a child. You can be extreme with how much you give to others but it didn't fade away unnoticed from your spiritual team and the Universe. They are sending you times where you can just sigh with relief, take some time for yourself and make new plans. You've been working hard for something, you've done the work and now you can let yourself rest and recieve these professional and financial blessings. If you wanted more time for yourself to practice spirituality in any form, I'm seeing the opporunities to do that will happen as well. You're quite intuitive and your skills will be developed and highlighted even more in February. More time with family and friends and your loved ones. Receiving a love confession. Opportunities to lead in the choosen field. Winning a competition. Receiving a scholarship. Moving to a different country because of the study. Focus on yourself and your inner battery. Successful relocation. Seeing beauty in everything around you. Bright times ahead. Your prayers are being answered.

What is the best way for You to astral travel? pick a card
Hey homies! Please donate to my CashApp or interact with this post so I can do this full-time, thank you so much in advance for your support! The decks used to day are the Romance Lenormand, the Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot and the Necronomicon Tarot.
🌎Donate to my CashApp🦋
(please pay for my queer quality of life)
Take what resonates and leave the rest behind but always be open to new experiences.
Also here are some basic Astral Realm Tips
mirror's there are portals to other places (go through at ur own risk)
eating any food there will effect your physical reality
ask your guides for protection over your soul and your body before traveling
ground urself before you travel
_________
PILE ONE
Astrology: Pisces, Aquarius, Gemini
Song: Femininomenon by Chappell Roan
Vibes: Indigo, green, lavender, white, pomegranates, reading, 99, unicorn, plumbagos, book marks, adventure time, X's, crossroads, armor, Hades, Hekate, Athena
Cards: Book, 10 of Swords, Judgement, 6 of Cups, 5 of Pentacles, Knight of Swords, Queen of Cups
Welcome, in pile one. The message I'm receiving first and foremost, is you can best Astral travel if you do it 'by-the-book'. There is a reason for this being so prominent. You have tried many times to astral travel and you believe it's impossible at this point. I'm here to tell you that you are capable. The only reason it has felt so impossible is because the most important step you need to take has been skipped unintentionally every time you have tried. You must ground yourself. Seems kind of counter intuitive but it's true.
Most likely, what has been happening is you have actually succeeded in your astral travel attempts. Being ungrounded can make it difficult to remember your adventures. Forgetting who you are can also make it harder to recall your experiences. Remember my friend, we are all a part of Spirit and when we travel in that way we are releasing our consciousness from our bodies and back into Spirit. Without being properly grounded we can lose ourselves in the experience until we return to our bodies.
I see you used to travel through the astral a lot as a kid. I also think you probably slept walked or had night terrors while you were astral traveling a lot as a child too. You have always been capable, my dear. You are extremely skilled in this area. Don't sell yourself short, dude.
Another trick you can do to succeed in your travels is to light a candle for your guides as an offering. They want to assist you but I feel you are the type of person who would rather ask for help than have someone take your freewill from you to assist you. Your guides know that and respect that about you. Which means only you can let go of your pride and ask for help. Also try and attempt traveling while sitting up instead of laying down. Good luck!!
__________
PILE TWO
Astrology: Scorpio, Libra, Cancer
Song: Starlight Brigade by TWRP and NSP
Vibes: Aquamarine, black, grey, brown, kayaking, sea horses, sparrows, seagulls , nests, swings, plantain, carrots, 22, 666, 639, directions, Hermes, Hekate, Hestia
Cards: Stork, Crossroads, 6 of Cups, Queen of Cups, 9 of Swords, 6 of Swords, Chariot
Hey pile two! Welcome to your reading. The main vibe I am getting from your cards is that there is some shadow work you gotta do before you are going to be able to freely Astral travel. I have a feeling you use escapism as a coping mechanism from your trauma. Which is why you have been barred from the Astral for a while. If you were to enter right now, unhealed. It would be hard for you to take part in everyday life in the same way. This is a very similar message to pile one actually but with more emphasis on the healing rather than just grounding. You really gotta figure out who you are, my dove.
Spirit does apologize for all the nightmares and all the pain you have been through. You didn't deserve it, dove. I see you have faced much violence in your few years on earth. It was scary and probably bloody or bruising. It isn't your fault. Everything you have faced isn't your fault. Unfortunately, it is your responsibility to make it right and lick your wounds. I wish it wasn't, dove. I wish someone could scoop you up and take away all the hurt you had to go through. You have to be the one to take that role. Cradle yourself in a blanket of safety and be there for yourself. That will be the best way you can begin to astral travel.
There is an interesting underlying focus of choice in your cards. It is as if you are choosing to continue the immense pain you have been through or to stop it in its tracks. Will you allow to cycle to continue or will you grab the wheel's fate and flip them in the opposite direction. Spirit and I know you will make the right choice. No matter which you decide. It is the right choice. Believe in yourself, dove.
__________
PILE THREE
Astrology: Leo, Aries, Sagittarius
Song: Devil's Train by The Lab Rats
Vibes: Orange, gold, brown, periwinkle, thistle, cherry blossom, open windows, thorns, 88, 5555, 1122, caduceus, red cloth, blue jay, pyramids, chains, lion, tattoos, Ares, Aphrodite, Eros, Eris
Cards: Whip, Birds, The Tower, Hanged Man, 2 of Cups, 8 of Pentacles, King of Wands
Welcome pile three to your reading. Oh boy yikes, this is a tough set of cards, my dear. I see you are struggling to venture into the Astral because there is mess that is in need of care in the physical. I think you might be in a really bad relationship with someone. This person is draining your spiritual power. For some of you it is romantic but it could also be familial. For a select few I think this might just be self destructive relationship with yourself. Letting this person treat you the way they do is killing you. The worst part of it is that I think you already know this. You have dedicated so much time and energy into this person that you can't bring yourself to leave. They drain your power and give nothing in return. You have convinced yourself you can't escape.
The cards are begging you to make a change in your physical reality. Once you remove the source of your anxiety and torment you will be free to use your power to do any spiritual thing you want to do. You have to rock the boat even if it is scary. You have to scream for help even if it will provoke someone. You have to make a mess of what they created. It would be so cathartic to wreck shit, babe. Just let yourself explode and watch as their tyrannical reign topples.
However, be sure you aren't exploring at people who do not deserve it. After all of the craziness is over you are going to need a support system to help you out. Please stop giving your power away so you can use it for yourself. Please let your suffering end by starting a new journey and break your current cycle. Please. Good luck, my dear. Have fun wrecking that horrible person's control of you. <3 Once you have dealt with your physical reality it'll be safe for you to venture into the Astral's unknown. Stay safe.
__________
PILE FOUR
Astrology: Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo
Song: Dead Inside by Younger Hunger
Vibes: Gray, forest green, off white, sky blue, moths, petunias, beakers, blackberries, scales, yellow teeth, 7777, 8, diamonds, moss agate, Nyx, Hypnos, Hades, Thanatos
Cards: Coffin, 7 of Pentacles, 6 of Pentacles, Hierophant, 7 of Wands, 10 of Cups, 3 of Wands
Hello and welcome, pile four. Now this is interesting. I see that you are intrigued by the idea of Astral travel but never really put in a lot of effort to attempt it. Maybe you put on a guided meditation for it but it didn't really go anywhere. You have done basic research but never really put everything you had into it. You are almost too grounded to astral travel. Unlike pile one and two you are very focused on reality. Anything outside of reality is fascinating to you but you are too logical to allow your mind to open to more mystical experiences.
These cards recommend that you find a professional to help you ease into it and teach your the techniques. I see you have plenty of resources to get the help you need to explore your spirituality. It will take some work to find the right professional and much more work for you to accept that there are things outside of our physical reality. Take as much time as you need, my dear. Don't overwhelm yourself with information that is difficult to process. If you open your mind too wide it can be extremely intense to accept everything you will learn. Go easy for a while to see if you like what you are getting into.
I can tell your friends might be into this kind of stuff or perhaps your family is. Don't feel peer pressured to believe anything if you don't want to. Just because of the people around you do this stuff, doesn't mean you have too, my dear. Faith is a very personal experience and it should be something you want to do for yourself, not for other people. If you are still interested in astral traveling after you have explored a bit, then you will know when the right time is. Happy hunting!

2023 career predictions
This pick a card deals with what's coming toward your career in 2023! This deals with what you're doing right, challenges and predictions to take into consideration when it comes to career movement. Consider tipping at sarahx2x on cashapp if this reading helps you in anyway ♡♡
Pile one
What youre doing right in 2023 《♡》
In 2023 you'll be regonizing that certain projects or paths are simply not for you and walking away from them. You may encounter fear and anxiety when doing this but this is natural when stepping into the unknown. You're following your heart and listening to when you feel like changing directions, in 2023 you know that you will not find success through remaining in paths or commitments that do not resonate with what you heart is telling you. This sounds scary and fearful but spirit is showing me that they support you in this, whatever you end up leaving behind career wise in 2023, you will find that it was the right descion. This may be as big as a career change or even abdonding a project that no longer has professional meaning to you.
Challenges 《♡》
Change is both your biggest challenge and your biggest blessing. Transformation is never easy, it feels like a crisis at times especially if you're changing career paths. Never let anyone tell you that anxiety over career changes is not valid, it impacts your financial security and even self worth at times. But while this change brings on feelings of uncertainty and a lack of trust within yourself, trying to cling onto control over situations is gonna be your biggest challenge. Don't cling onto control over situations you never had power over. Focus on what you can control. When you place your focus on things that are beyond reach you end up feeling powerless when you aren't. Your biggest challenge when it comes to 2023 is ultimately harnessing your own power and not giving that away to circumstances you don't have control over.
Predictions 《♡》
Networking, the way you're communicating your ideas and approaching your career will attract good connections towards you. The people around you will be kind and calming even, or they will feel this way about you. Your ideas are being heard, the people youre meeting will help you advance in 2023. Dont take netoweking lightly! I'm seeing people who chose this pile graduating, getting certificates, being promoted, getting the job they wanted, etc. Huge achievements are coming towards you in 2023 and this achievements have a positive impact on your self worth and esteem. It will help you relax and feel more comfortable with where you are and feel more receptive to the blessings coming your way. As well as feeling more comfortable not having to control everything.
If this reading resonated my cashapp is sarahx2x, tipping is of course not necessary but for those who feel inclined to, I appreciate it
Pile two
What you're doing right 《◇》
In 2023 I see you going on a mission to be authentically and radically yourself. You showing up as yourself commands your reality to reflect authentic opportunities, abundance and prosperity into your life. You simply being yourself and accepting who you are is attracting amazing things to you career wise. When you accept who you are as a whole, meaning both your successes and failures, you're able to see divinity in all things. And this ability grants abundance to you. So please, be yourself no matter how radical that may be to other people around you. Dress how you want to dress. Talk how you naturally talk. Wear your hair the way you like to wear it. For some people those things sound easy or irrelevant to their career, but for others they can be fired for wearing thir natural hair or speaking in how they are used to speaking. Be yourself, accept yourself, let your authenticity command others around you to be accepting and open minded. If you ever feel pressured to be out of alignment with who you are, look to who's around you, evaluate their motives and if has to do with your race, religion, sexuality, gender identity because if so REPORT THEIR ASS. The reality is some people feel like they have to put on a mask and pretend to be somone they're not when they go to work because they arent white, straight, neurotypical or cis and that's not acceptable. You deserve to feel safe as yourself at your job or internship or whatever it is you're doing. and I'm seeing you not tolerating that bigotry bs next year. Good, keep being you. Any opposition to that should be delt with accordingly.
Challenges 《◇》
Being overly realistic may place limitations on you. Realism is a good thing don't get me wrong but dismissing any potiental paths or opportunities because it's not "realisitic" to explore them is gonna keep you stagnated. Let yourself dream a little, be open to good outcomes. Don't impose limits on yourself because life does that to us enough already, you don't need to do that to yourself. Being overly cautious or delaying things is not good either. Risks are inevitable when it comes to careers, it actually helps you mature and learn.
Predictions 《◇》
Fairness, equality, not letting people do you wrong on any level. You're not putting in too much work without fair pay and for benefits. I'm seeing compromising and fairness happening which indicates that some of you could be into unionization next year (Google how to unionize if you don't know jack shit about it) so it's possible that unions are of importance to you next year. If not unions then definitely confronting co workers and employers with your personal concerns and compromising to have your needs met. I'm seeing you be very diplomatic when it comes to having what you need be met. I also see that 2023 is a year of curiosity and learning! Like I said with your challenges, being overly realistic may shut you down from exploring new things. Let your mind wonder, learn and explore. You're not gonna be a master at everything you try in the beginning, be open to learning as well.
If this resonated I have a cashapp sarahx2x that you can tip if you feel inclined to do so ♡♡
Pile three
What you're doing right 《♧》
If you're going back to finish or complete something your guides are showing me that this was the right choice. But overall I see you guys tying up loose ends before moving onto something new in 2023. This could be as big as finishing your degree or certificate or getting your GED, or getting your finances in order before starting anything new. This means paying off loans, debts, rent, bills etc things of that nature. I see this pile essentially just making sure everything they wanted done and completed is sealed and official before moving onto the next thing.
Challenges 《♧》
You may struggle with being overly idealistic in 2023 when it comes to career. I see you guys anticipating that things will pay off or work out or even manifest without putting in the necessary work. Others are anticipating that if they sacrifice everything for something that it will just work out in the end. Everything is an exchange. If you notice that the work you're doing is not compatible with the results, don't be idealistic or delusional about it. Whether it be you're not investing enough or it be you're investing way too much. Be grounded and mature when it comes to exchanging things in 2023. If you invest or plan to invest in Crypto, stocks, nfts (boo) next year, don't get caught up in schemes that seem to good to be true. Dont invest in shit that asks you to make big sacrifices for little payoff. Don't gamble with your resources next year. Be grounded and specific about what you want and how you want to get there.
Predictions 《♧》
Possible sorrow and heartache if you act with immaturity, don't be idealistic or or hopeful when you're sacrificing or investing time energy or money. Breakups, separation things of that nature may come into play and intefere with career. I see creative projects being regonized and celebrated by others. These creative projects may come from a place of hurt and trauma. You're taking charge in 2023 over your career and initating projects or taking charge over your life path, you have a vision and as long as you are grounded you can make that vision a reality. Painful experinces from this year may have been the trigger to offically get shit into action so that you can begin life anew. You want to be on the otherside of things and youre trying to overcome pain and heartbreak in various ways. People want to listen to you and see you thrive in 2023, and if you are organized and have a vision in mind you can rely on those people to help you make your vision come true. I see you following your intution and moving forward with aggressive and quick action so make sure youre taking care of yourself as well. You're moving into better waters this year. 2022 might have been a year of setbacks and delays and possibly separations but next year You're learning lessons and moving forward and you're progressing quickly!!!
My cashapp is sarahx2x if you feel inclined to tip 《◇》

J.3.9 Why are many anarchists not anarcho-syndicalists?
Before discussing why many anarchists are not anarcho-syndicalists, we must clarify a few points first. Let us be clear, non-syndicalist anarchists usually support the ideas of workplace organisation and struggle, of direct action, of solidarity and so on. Thus most non-syndicalist anarchists do not disagree with anarcho-syndicalists on these issues. Indeed, many even support the creation of syndicalist unions. Thus many anarcho-communists like Alexander Berkman, Errico Malatesta and Emma Goldman supported anarcho-syndicalist organisations and even, like Malatesta, helped form such revolutionary union federations (namely, the FORA in Argentina) and urged anarchists to take a leading role in organising unions. So when we use the term “non-syndicalist anarchist” we are not suggesting that these anarchists reject all aspects of anarcho-syndicalism. Rather, they are critical of certain aspects of anarcho-syndicalist ideas while supporting the rest.
In the past, a few communist-anarchists did oppose the struggle for improvements within capitalism as “reformist.” However, these were few and far between and with the rise of anarcho-syndicalism in the 1890s, the vast majority of communist-anarchists recognised that only by encouraging the struggle for reforms would people take them seriously as this showed the benefits of anarchist tactics and organisation in practice so ensuring anarchist ideas grow in influence. Thus syndicalism was a healthy response to the rise of “abstract revolutionarism” that infected the anarchist movement during the 1880s, particularly in France and Italy. Thus communist-anarchists agree with syndicalists on the importance of struggling for and winning reforms and improvements within capitalism by direct action and solidarity.
Similarly, anarchists like Malatesta also recognised the importance of mass organisations like unions. As he argued, “to encourage popular organisations of all kinds is the logical consequence of our basic ideas … An authoritarian party, which aims at capturing power to impose its ideas, has an interest in the people remaining an amorphous mass, unable to act for themselves and therefore easily dominated … But we anarchists do not want to emancipate the people; we want the people to emancipate themselves … we want the new way of life to emerge from the body of the people and correspond to the state of their development and advance as they advance.” [Errico Malatesta: His Life and Ideas, p. 90] This can only occur when there are popular organisations, like trade unions, within which people can express themselves, come to common agreements and act. Moreover, these organisations must be autonomous, self-governing, be libertarian in nature and be independent of all parties and organisations (including anarchist ones). The similarity with anarcho-syndicalist ideas is striking.
So why, if this is the case, are many anarchists not anarcho-syndicalists? There are two main reasons for this. First, there is the question of whether unions are, by their nature, revolutionary organisations. Second, whether syndicalist unions are sufficient to create anarchy by themselves. We will discuss each in turn.
As can be seen from any country, the vast majority of unions are deeply reformist and bureaucratic in nature. They are centralised, with power resting at the top in the hands of officials. This suggests that in themselves unions are not revolutionary. As Malatesta argued, this is to be expected for “all movements founded on material and immediate interests (and a mass working class movement cannot be founded on anything else), if the ferment, the drive and the unremitting efforts of men [and women] of ideas struggling and making sacrifices for an ideal future are lacking, tend to adapt themselves to circumstances, foster a conservative spirit, and fear of change in those who manage to improve their conditions, and often end up by creating new privileged classes and serving to support and consolidate the system one would want to destroy.” [Op. Cit., pp. 113–4]
If we look at the role of the union within capitalist society we see that in order for it to work, it must offer a reason for the boss to recognise and negotiate with it. This means that the union must be able to offer the boss something in return for any reforms it gets, namely labour discipline. In return for an improvement in wages or conditions, the union must be able to get workers to agree to submit to the contracts the union signs with their boss. In other words, they must be able to control their members — stop them fighting the boss — if they are to have anything with which to bargain with. This results in the union becoming a third force in industry, with interests separate than the workers which it claims to represent. The role of unionism as a seller of labour power means that it often has to make compromises, compromises it has to make its members agree to. This necessities a tendency for power to be taken from the rank and file of the unions and centralised in the hands of officials at the top of the organisation. This ensures that “the workers organisation becomes what it must perforce be in a capitalist society — a means not of refusing to recognise and overthrowing the bosses, but simply for hedging round and limiting the bosses’ power.” [Errico Malatesta, The Anarchist Revolution, p. 29]
Anarcho-syndicalists are aware of this problem. That is why their unions are decentralised, self-managed and organised from the bottom up in a federal manner. As Durruti argued:
“No anarchists in the union committees unless at the ground level. In these committees, in case of conflict with the boss, the militant is forced to compromise to arrive at an agreement. The contracts and activities which come from being in this position, push the militant towards bureaucracy. Conscious of this risk, we do not wish to run it. Our role is to analyse from the bottom the different dangers which can beset a union organisation like ours. No militant should prolong his job in committees, beyond the time allotted to him. No permanent and indispensable people.” [quoted by Abel Paz, Durruti: The People Armed, p. 183]
However, structure is rarely enough in itself to undermine the bureaucratic tendencies created by the role of unions in the capitalist economy. While such libertarian structures can slow down the tendency towards bureaucracy, non-syndicalist anarchists argue that they cannot stop it. They point to the example of the French CGT which had become reformist by 1914 (the majority of other syndicalist unions were crushed by fascism or communism before they had a chance to develop fully). Even the Spanish CNT (by far the most successful anarcho-syndicalist union) suffered from the problem of reformism, causing the anarchists in the union to organise the FAI in 1927 to combat it (which it did, very successfully). According to Jose Peirats, the “participation of the anarchist group in the mass movement CNT helped to ensure that CNT’s revolutionary nature.” This indicates the validity of Malatesta’s arguments concerning the need for anarchists to remain distinct of the unions organisationally while working within them — just as Peirat’s comment that ”[b]linkered by participation in union committees, the FAI became incapable of a wider vision” indicates the validity of Malatesta’s warnings against anarchists taking positions of responsibility in unions! [Anarchists in the Spanish Revolution, p. 241 and pp. 239–40]
Moreover, even the structure of syndicalist unions can cause problems: “In modelling themselves structurally on the bourgeois economy, the syndicalist unions tended to become the organisational counterparts of the very centralised apparatus they professed to oppose. By pleading the need to deal effectively with the tightly knit bourgeoisie and state machinery, reformist leaders in syndicalist unions often had little difficulty in shifting organisational control from the bottom to the top.” [Murray Bookchin, The Spanish Anarchists, p. 123]
In addition, as the syndicalist unions grow in size and influence their initial radicalism is usually watered-down. This is because, “since the unions must remain open to all those who desire to win from the masters better conditions of life, whatever their opinions may be …, they are naturally led to moderate their aspirations, first so that they should not frighten away those they wish to have with them, and because, in proportion as numbers increase, those with ideas who have initiated the movement remain buried in a majority that is only occupied with the petty interests of the moment.” [Errico Malatesta, Anarchism and Syndicalism, p. 150] Which, ironically given that increased self-management is seen as a way of reducing tendencies towards bureaucracy, means that syndicalist unions have a tendency towards reformism simply because the majority of their members will be non-revolutionary if the union grows in size in non-revolutionary times (as can be seen from the development of the Swedish syndicalist union the SAC).
So, if the union’s militant strategy succeeds in winning reforms, more and more workers will join it. This influx of non-libertarians must, in a self-managed organisation, exert a de-radicalising influence on the unions politics and activities in non-revolutionary times. The syndicalist would argue that the process of struggling for reforms combined with the educational effects of participation and self-management will reduce this influence and, of course, they are right. However, non-syndicalist anarchists would counter this by arguing that the libertarian influences generated by struggle and participation would be strengthened by the work of anarchist groups and, without this work, the de-radicalising influences would outweigh the libertarian ones. In addition, the success of a syndicalist union must be partly determined by the general level of class struggle. In periods of great struggle, the membership will be more radical than in quiet periods and it is quiet periods which cause the most difficulties for syndicalist unions. With a moderate membership the revolutionary aims and tactics of the union will also become moderate. As one academic writer on French syndicalism put it, syndicalism “was always based on workers acting in the economic arena to better their conditions, build class consciousness, and prepare for revolution. The need to survive and build a working-class movement had always forced syndicalists to adapt themselves to the exigencies of the moment.” [Barbara Mitchell, “French Syndicalism: An Experiment in Practical Anarchism”, pp. 25–41, Revolutionary Syndicalism, Marcel van der Linden and Wayne Thorpe (eds.), p. 25]
As can be seen from the history of many syndicalist unions (and, obviously, mainstream unions too) this seems to be the case — the libertarian tendencies are outweighed by the de-radicalising ones. This can also be seen from the issue of collective bargaining:
“The problem of collective bargaining foreshadowed the difficulty of maintaining syndicalist principles in developed capitalist societies. Many organisations within the international syndicalist movement initially repudiated collective agreements with employers on the grounds that by a collaborative sharing of responsibility for work discipline, such agreements would expand bureaucratisation within the unions, undermine revolutionary spirit, and restrict the freedom of action that workers were always to maintain against the class enemy. From an early date, however, sometimes after a period of suspicion and resistance, many workers gave up this position. In the early decades of the century it became clear that to maintain or gain a mass membership, syndicalist unions had to accept collective bargaining.” [Marcel van der Linden and Wayne Thorpe, Op. Cit., p. 19]
Thus, for most anarchists, “the Trade Unions are, by their very nature reformist and never revolutionary. The revolutionary spirit must be introduced, developed and maintained by the constant actions of revolutionaries who work from within their ranks as well as from outside, but it cannot be the normal, natural definition of the Trade Unions function.” [Malatesta, Errico Malatesta: His Life and Ideas, p. 117]
This does not mean that anarchists should not work within labour organisations. Nor does it mean rejecting anarcho-syndicalist unions as an anarchist tactic. Far from it. Rather it is a case of recognising these organisations for what they are, reformist organisations which are not an end in themselves but one (albeit, important) means of preparing the way for the achievement of anarchism. Neither does it mean that anarchists should not try to make labour organisations as anarchistic as possible or have anarchist objectives. Working within the labour movement (at the rank and file level, of course) is essential to gain influence for anarchist ideas, just as is working with unorganised workers. But this does not mean that the unions are revolutionary by their very nature, as syndicalism implies. As history shows, and as syndicalists themselves are aware, the vast majority of unions are reformist. Non-syndicalist anarchists argue there is a reason for that and syndicalist unions are not immune to these tendencies just because they call themselves revolutionary. Due to these tendencies, non-syndicalist anarchists stress the need to organise as anarchists first and foremost in order to influence the class struggle and encourage the creation of autonomous workplace and community organisations to fight that struggle. Rather than fuse the anarchist and working class movement, non-syndicalist anarchists stress the importance of anarchists organising as anarchists to influence the working class movement.
All this does not mean that purely anarchist organisations or individual anarchists cannot become reformist. Of course they can (just look at the Spanish FAI which along with the CNT co-operated with the state during the Spanish Revolution). However, unlike syndicalist unions, the anarchist organisation is not pushed towards reformism due to its role within society. That is an important difference — the institutional factors are not present for the anarchist federation as they are for the syndicalist union federation.
The second reason why many anarchists are not anarcho-syndicalists is the question of whether syndicalist unions are sufficient in themselves to create anarchy. Pierre Monatte, a French syndicalist, argued that “Syndicalism, as the [CGT’s] Congress of Amiens proclaimed in 1906, is sufficient unto itself” as “the working class, having at last attained majority, means to be self-sufficient and to rely on no-one else for its emancipation.” [The Anarchist Reader, p. 219]
This idea of self-sufficiency means that the anarchist and the syndicalist movement must be fused into one, with syndicalism taking the role of both anarchist group and labour union. Thus a key difference between anarcho-syndicalists and other anarchists is over the question of the need for a specifically anarchist organisation. While most anarchists are sympathetic to anarcho-syndicalism, few totally subscribe to anarcho-syndicalist ideas in their pure form. This is because, in its pure form, syndicalism rejects the idea of anarchist groups and instead considers the union as the focal point of social struggle and anarchist activism. However, an anarcho-syndicalist may support a specific anarchist federation to work within the union and outside.
So anarchists critical of anarcho-syndicalism are also active in the labour movement, working with the rank and file while keeping their own identity as anarchists and organising as anarchists. Thus Malatesta: “In the past I deplored that the comrades isolated themselves from the working-class movement. Today I deplore that many of us, falling into the contrary extreme, let themselves be swallowed up in the same movement.” [Op. Cit., p. 225] In the eyes of other anarchists anarcho-syndicalism in its “pure” (revolutionary syndicalist) form makes the error of confusing the anarchist and union movement and so ensures that the resulting movement can do neither work well: “Every fusion or confusion between the anarchist movement and the trade union movement ends, either in rendering the later unable to carry out its specific task or by weakening, distorting, or extinguishing the anarchist spirit.” [Malatesta, Errico Malatesta: His Life and Ideas, p. 123]
Most anarchists agree with Malatesta when he argued that “anarchists must not want the Trade Unions to be anarchist, but they must act within their ranks in favour of anarchist aims, as individuals, as groups and as federations of groups… [I]n the situation as it is, and recognising that the social development of one’s workmates is what it is, the anarchist groups should not expect the workers’ organisation to act as if they were anarchist, but should make every effort to induce them to approximate as much as possible to the anarchist method.” [Op. Cit., pp. 124–5] Given that it appears to be the case that labour unions are by nature reformist, they cannot be expected to be enough in themselves when creating a free society. Hence the need for anarchists to organise as anarchists as well as alongside their fellow workers as workers in order to spread anarchist ideas on tactics and aims. This activity within existing unions does not necessarily mean attempting to “reform” the union in a libertarian manner (although some anarchists would support this approach). Rather it means working with the rank and file of the unions and trying to create autonomous workplace organisations, independent of the trade union bureaucracy and organised in a libertarian way.
This involves creating anarchist organisations separate from but which (in part) work within the labour movement for anarchist ends. Let us not forget that the syndicalist organisation is the union, it organises all workers regardless of their politics. A “union” which just let anarchists join would not be a union, it would be an anarchist group organised in the workplace. As anarcho-syndicalists themselves are aware, an anarcho-syndicalist union is not the same as a union of anarcho-syndicalists. How can we expect an organisation made up of non-anarchists be totally anarchist? Due to this, tendencies always appeared within syndicalist unions that were reformist and because of this most anarchists, including many anarcho-syndicalists we must note, argue that there is a need for anarchists to work within the rank and file of the unions to spread their anarchist ideals and aims, and this implies anarchist organisations separate from the labour movement, even if that movement is based on syndicalist unions.
As Bakunin argued, the anarchist organisation “is the necessary complement to the International [i.e. the union federation]. But the International and the Alliance [the anarchist federation], while having the same ultimate aims, perform different functions. The International endeavours to unify the working masses … regardless of nationality or religious and political beliefs, into one compact body: the Alliance, on the other hand, tries to give these masses a really revolutionary direction.” This did not mean that the Alliance was imposing a foreign theory onto the members of the unions, because the “programs of one and the other … differ only in the degree of their revolutionary development … The program of the Alliance represents the fullest unfolding of the International.” [Bakunin on Anarchism, p. 157] Nor did it imply that anarchists think that unions and other forms of popular organisations should be controlled by anarchists. Far from it! Anarchists are the strongest supporters of the autonomy of all popular organisations. As we indicated in section J.3.6, anarchists desire to influence popular organisations by the strength of our ideas within the rank and file and not by imposing our ideas on them.
In addition to these major points of disagreement, there are minor ones as well. For example, many anarchists dislike the emphasis syndicalists place on the workplace and see “in syndicalism a shift in focus from the commune to the trade union, from all of the oppressed to the industrial proletariat alone, from the streets to the factories, and, in emphasis at least, from insurrection to the general strike.” [Bookchin, Op. Cit., p. 123] However, most anarcho-syndicalists are well aware that life exists outside the workplace and so this disagreement is largely one of emphasis. Similarly, many anarchists disagreed with the early syndicalist argument that a general strike was enough to create a revolution. They argued, with Malatesta in the forefront, that while a general strike would be “an excellent means for starting the social revolution” it would be wrong to think that it made “armed insurrection unnecessary” since the “first to die of hunger during a general strike would not be the bourgeois, who dispose of all the stores, but the workers.” In order for this not to occur, the workers would need to “take over production” which are protected by the police and armed forces and this meant “insurrection.” [Malatesta, The Anarchist Reader, pp. 223–4] Again, however, most modern syndicalists accept this to be the case and see the “expropriatory general strike,” in the words of French syndicalist Pierre Besnard, as “clearly insurrectional.” [quoted by Vernon Richards, Errico Malatesta: His Life and Ideas, p. 288] We mention this purely to counter Leninist claims that syndicalists subscribe to the same ones they did in the 1890s.
Despite our criticisms we should recognise that the difference between anarchists and anarcho-syndicalists are slight and (often) just a case of emphasis. Most anarchists support anarcho-syndicalist unions where they exist and often take a key role in creating and organising them. Similarly, many self-proclaimed anarcho-syndicalists also support specific organisations of anarchists to work within and outwith the syndicalist union. Syndicalist unions, where they exist, are far more progressive than any other union. Not only are they democratic unions and create an atmosphere where anarchist ideas are listened to with respect but they also organise and fight in a way that breaks down the divisions into leaders and led, doers and watchers. On its own this is very good but not good enough. For non-syndicalist anarchists, the missing element is an organisation winning support for anarchist ideas and tactics both within revolutionary unions and everywhere else working class people come together.
For a further information on the anarchist criticism of syndicalism, we can suggest no better source than the writings of Errico Malatesta. The books Errico Malatesta: His Life and Ideas and The Anarchist Revolution contain Malatesta’s viewpoints on anarchism, syndicalism and how anarchists should work within the labour movement. The Anarchist Reader contains the famous debate between the syndicalist Pierre Monatte and Malatesta at the International Anarchist conference in Amsterdam in 1907.

More information regarding the clans will be coming next week, in the form of slowly trickling lore out over the next few weeks total!
In the meantime, here are the names and core values for each Clan, as well as an extremely brief overview of what I have planned for each!
Shoreshimmer | Unity, Harmony and Craftsmanship. Resides among rocky beaches, tidal marshes, and estuaries bordering the coastal temperate rainforest. Reveres the ocean as a living entity. They believe their ancestors and deceased loved ones return to the sea of life and are reborn into the cycle once more. Practices craftsmanship with the sea glass and drift wood that often washes ashore, creating pendants and jewelry, as well as more practical items. This Clan also enjoys bartering and trading the items that they create among the other Clans, commonly trading more practical tools in exchange for preserved food sources with Torrentfall, or trading specialized pendants for herbs with Thornrush.
Thornrush | Glory, Honor, and Perseverance. Resides within the temperate rainforest itself, living among the dense and dark undergrowth. Primarily reveres a deity known as "Thornmaw", a massive boarlike creature made of brambles and thorns, that tirelessly hunts. They believe that their ancestors join Thornmaw in his hunting grounds, helping in his endless hunt. They practice mutual aid and support among themselves, knowing that they are only as strong as their weakest link, leading them to be fiercely loyal to their Clanmates. This Clan is also the most medicinally advanced, capable of treating more grievous wounds with more success by utilizing specialized poultices, wraps of moss, and a rudimentary form of stitching and cauterizing, all from plants found within their dense territory and contained fires they create.
Skyreach | Exploration, Curiosity, and the Unknown. Resides within stone peaks, cliffs, and the edges of the cloud forest of the area. They particularly revere the unknown of the stars and the expanse of the sky, believe their loved ones spirits to join the stars above in death. Most 'traditional' religion out of the five. Practices a form of falconry where a unique role called the 'Skybinder' forms a bond with a kestrel or falcon, that helps in hunts and scouting. These cats are picked from older kits or young apprentices that show affinity to birds, and paired with a fledgling of any various falcon species. These cats form lifelong bonds with their birds, and do not typically take a new one if their previous one has passed. Some may even experience such intense grief that they temporarily have to step down from their position, whatever it may be.
Torrentfall | Adaptability, Resilience, and Precision. Resides within the riparian zones of the temperate rainforest, living among white water rapids and cascading waterfalls and hidden groves. The revere the 'River of Souls', with the belief that their loved ones spirits drift down the rivers of their territory into the afterlife, as well as a minor pantheon of individual Deities worshipped by various individuals. This Clan is especially skilled at swimming in dangerous currents and fishing in the rivers. They have mastered the art of preserving, mainly fish that they catch and storing them for scarce seasons, as well as being able to preserve other miscellaneous things such as herbs and berries. This is imperitive for when the rivers are too dangerous, or when a particularly harsh winter rolls in.
Mistshroud | Patience, Subtlety, and Introspection. Resides within the high altitude cloud forest itself, shrouded equally in mists and mystery. This Clan reveres a Pantheon, featuring the cardinal directions. They also believe the mist to contain spirits, both helpful and mischievous, leading those that are lost in good faith, but misguiding those that act belligerent. They practice a different form of craftsmanship than Shoreshimmer, instead creating weather resistent and durable weavings made from the tough fibers found within their territory. These are used for shelter insulation by keeping the inside dry and warm, to aid in camouflage by creating cloaks, as well as traps that capture prey or deter intruders. They are often to themselves and interact rarely with other Clans, and even moreso rarely trade products.

These audiobooks use Virtual Voice narration. Virtual Voice is a computer-generated speech technology designed explicitly to create Audible audiobooks. Audible is an Amazon-owned company renowned for its vast library of audiobooks. Audible's Virtual Voice is a cutting-edge technology that utilizes advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to generate lifelike voice narrations for audiobooks. Unlike traditional methods that require human narrators, Virtual Voice can create high-quality narrations using synthesized voices. This technology leverages deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) to produce voices that sound remarkably human.
One of the significant advantages of Virtual Voice is the consistency it offers. Human narrators, while talented, can introduce variability in their performances due to factors like mood, health, or fatigue. Virtual Voice eliminates these inconsistencies, ensuring that every chapter of a book is narrated with the same level of quality and energy. I was hesitant to publish any of my books using Virtual Voice, however the quality of the narration is much better than I could have ever imagined it would be.

After an amazing few months singing on stage in Finland, I have been lucky enough to be chosen to partake in a week long masterclass in Salzburg (starting this Saturday!), having gotten the call a week ago! It’s a big deal, and it will be a full on schedule with daily masterclasses and culminating in a performance at the end of the week, with people like potential agents and sponsors watching! I feel deeply honoured to be chosen! It feels like a step in the right direction for the future of my career and I cannot wait to see what the week brings! It could be the big stepping stone I need to finally get my career on it’s feet!
That being said, taking the time away to further my career leaves me vulnerable financially. Having just returned from Finland, and no shifts at my normal day to day job until September, it leaves me financially crippled, especially after having just had to move to a new home and spend what little savings I had into resettling myself back into the swing of London. As of right now my bank account will go negative by the end of the week, and with no way to feed myself or travel when I need to get the airport, or to take care of myself when I'm away in a different country, let alone worrying if I'll have enough money to pay rent come September...I'm feeling a great deal of stress.
But I refuse to let this damper my spirits. I know things will look up soon, but for now, I reach out to seek help. I've set up a little donation button through paypal, and I would be greatly honoured and humbled if anyone could consider donating, or even sharing my post and story around! Already I’ve had this post up on my personal social media’s for more than a day, and there has been no support, which has truly reminded me just how much my family do not approve/understand the life I live as a freelancer.
So I thank you in advance for all your help, even if all you are able to do is a simple reblog. That in and of itself I am just as grateful for. You all have helped me through so much, both known and unknown, and I’m humbled to have such a community surrounding me and this little part of the internet. 🥺
Thank you all for helping in whatever way you are able! ❤

Poetics of Black Becoming: A Manifesto/Syllabus by 7vyn
A Prelude:
i am 7vyn. that is a self-given name that i claim in exploration of my gender and its manifestation of xpression through the digital. 7vyn is dislocated and pixelated embodiedment. a dis-spirit(ed) alien(ated) straddling human and monstrous livlihood. as 7vyn and thru this account, i hope to host a pilot of a manifesto/syllabus that crafts a tangible imaginative world that centers decolonial praxis. i wanted to create a place where texts central to themes of interest for me could live together on the same throughline to think with, around, and beyond each other.
why syllabus?
this is a tradition that came long before my attempts at uniting the scholarly and the activist for more fluid models of knowledge production and sharing. some considerations that made the syllabus a useful tool for me include:
proclamation, this syllabus is not making an argument as much as it is just saying, uniting threads of information. this syllabus is not engaged in any larger debate as much as it is a declaration of a more considerate, passionate, just world and its maintainance and flourishing needs. this syllabus/manifesto is the bare bones of a lineage of thought greater than my own wing-span, so rather than declare and leave thought to the wind as many in the tradition of manifesto do, i insist on the collabortative intention and nature of this piece. as in, this syllabus can be added to. this syllabus will remain malleauble and engaged.
invitation to learning, this syllabus/manifesto is creating a sort of index library or guide map of thinking toward decolonization in a Black trans-cyber-anarchafeminist tradition. this manifesto is uninterested in interacting with and sharing knowledge in such a way designed to exlude nonmembers of academia. so, i use my institutional access to create knowledge beyond academic spaces, straddling the line between academia and activism and daring myself and other producers of knowledge and culture to be intentional about the the work we do to prioritize and care for our audiences of intention. because this is a collaborative work, i most aim for Black transfeminists with specific niches related to the digital and decolonization (broadly) or even beyond to progress and advance the thinking of this syllabus. i encourage all others to engage this manifesto/syllabus as a learning tool.
accessible. this manifesto does not privilege knowledge. by this i mean, i am not the owner of this knowledge, i am merely an assembler, a curator. i also reject bullshit academic vernacular because i believe that is a method of exclusion and i want everyone, even people this is not useful for to at least be able to meaningfully engage with the information offered. i elect to spark enthusiasm and curiousity, not headaches.
translatable. because i think of this manifesto/syllabus as a useful learning tool, i believe that it should also have a flexibility that supports it as a learning model. this means i currently understand the syllabus/manifesto as a zine, twine game, installation, digital exhibition, and on a decentralized platform. these are initiatives i hope to take up later in the life of the manifesto/syllabus, hopefully in direct collaboration with other scholars, organizations, activists, cultural & knowledge workers, etc.
this is a living document + post. i will return as needed to update information, offer specificity, add resources, activities, prompts, and more. this post will serve as the original and masterlist. below you can gain access to some preliminary writing on the sources I have decided to include, key concepts I am drawing from them, and why they are useful to my thinking (and potentially yours too!). as i may have stated earlier in this post, this is just the pilot of this project for me. so what you see as of now (5/17/2024) is just the bare bones of something i will be building outward as long as i need to.

⭕ The famous speech of anarchist Juan Garcia Oliver on 20 November 1937 at Montjuic Cemetery, in Barcelona, in homage to Buenaventura Durruti, who died on 20 November 1936.
(English Subs).
Who was Durruti, as summarized by Joe King in theanarchistlibraryorg:
To reduce to a few hundred words the life story of an almost mythic figure is not an easy task. It can be said, without fear of exaggeration, that Buenventura Durruti symbolised in his person the courageous struggle of workers and peasants in that country, and more specifically symbolises the spirit of Spanish anarchism.
He was born the son of a railway worker on July 14th 1896 in Leon, a city in central Spain. Aged 14 he leaves school to become a trainee mechanic in the railway yard. Like his father, he joins the socialist UGT union. He takes an active part in the strike of August 1917 when the government overturned an agreement between the union and the employers. This soon became a general strike throughout the area. The government brought in the army and within three days the strikers had been crushed. The troops behaved with extreme brutality, killing 70 and wounding 500 workers. 2,000 strikers were jailed.
Durruti managed to escape to France, where he came into contact with exiled anarchists, whose influence led to him joining the anarchist CNT union upon his return in January 1919. He joins the fight against dictatorial employers in the Asturian mines and is arrested for the first time in March 1919; he escapes and over the next decade and a half he throws himself into activity for the CNT and for the anarchist movement.
These years see him involved in several strikes and being forced into exile. Unwittingly the Spanish government ‘exported’ rebellion, as Durruti and his close friend Francisco Ascaso happily joined the struggle for freedom wherever they ended up, in both Europe and Latin America.
The Spanish monarchy fell in 1931 and Durruti moved to Barcelona; accompanied by his French companion Emilienne, pregnant with their daughter Colette. He joined the Iberian Anarchist Federation (FAI), a specifically anarchist organization, and together with other militants they form the ‘Nosotros’ group. These were members within the CNT of a radical tendency that harboured no illusions with respect to the recently proclaimed Republic, maintaining that the moment was ripe for continued progress towards a social revolution.
With the electoral victory by the liberal/reformist Popular Front in February 1936, Left and Right were on a collision course, initiated very rapidly by Franco’s military rebellion on July 19th 1936. The CNT and the FAI confronted the army with courage, organization and mass mobilizations.
They triumphed in much of Spain despite the fascist superiority in weapons and resources. The anarchist contribution was decisive in resisting the fascists throughout the country and in Catalonia defeated the rebels singlehandedly, Durruti being one of the boldest fighters in this battle. It was here that Francisco Ascaso lost his life.
On July 24th, from Barcelona where the anarchist goal of workers’ control, direct democracy and liberty was starting to be a reality, Durruti left with an armed column towards Zaragossa, occupied by the fascists. Through hard battles this workers’ militia, without officers or other military trappings, advanced and saved the Aragon front against much better equipped regular troops.
Parallel to this, the anarchist forces supported a social transformation which meant the establishment of agricultural collectives in Aragon, upsetting the authoritarians of the Communist and Socialist parties, according to whom the war could not be won with the revolution going on. War or no war these would-be rulers would never have liked a real workers’ democracy.
After the liberation of Aragon, Durruti was interviewed by Pierre van Passen of the Toronto ‘Star’. “For us,” said Durruti, “it is a matter of crushing fascism once and for all. Yes, and in spite of the government. No government in the world fights fascism to the death.
“When the bourgeoisie see power slipping from its grasp, it has recourse to fascism to maintain itself. The Liberal government of Spain could have rendered the fascist elements powerless long ago. Instead it compromised and dallied. Even now at the moment there are men in this government who want to go easy on the rebels.”
And here Durruti laughed. “You can never tell, you know, the present government might yet need these rebellious forces to crush the workers’ movement...
“We know what we want. To us it means nothing that there is a Soviet Union somewhere in the world, for the sake of whose peace and tranquillity the workers of Germany and China were sacrificed to fascist barbarians by Stalin. We want revolution here in Spain, right now, not maybe after the next European war.
“We are giving Hitler and Mussolini far more worry with our revolution than the whole Red Army of Russia. We are setting an example to the German and Italian working class how to deal with fascism.”
But, interjected van Passen, even if you win “You will be sitting on a pile of ruins.” Durruti answered “We have always lived in slums and holes in the wall. We will know how to accommodate ourselves for a while. For, you must not forget, we also know how to build. It is we the workers who built these palaces and cities, here in Spain and in America, and everywhere.
“We, the workers, can build others to take their place, and better ones! We are not in the least afraid of ruins. We are going to inherit the earth, there is not the slightest doubt about that. The bourgeoisie might blast and ruin its own world before it leaves the stage of history. We carry a new world, here, in our hearts. That world is growing this minute”.
Durruti embodied the feelings and goals of the workers in arms, being a peculiar “chief” whose main privilege was to fight in the first line and whose only rank was the esteem his equals had for him. His courageous life came to an end in November of that same year. On the 15th Durruti arrived with a force of 1,800 men to reinforce the defence of Madrid, where they went immediately to the toughest section and on the 19th he was struck by a bullet. He died at dawn on the 20th, being buried two days later at Montjuich’s cemetery in Barcelona, accompanied by 500,000 people carrying the red & black flags of anarchism. It was the largest funeral cortege ever seen in that city.
Here was a man who fought for his union and anarchist ideals; who never sought any special privileges for himself, who acted as much as he read or thought, who loved, dreamed and was determined to leave this world a better place than when he entered it.

(I know all of this is technically just game mechanics, but I like to think too deeply abt in-universe explanations for things so let me have my moment lmao)
The lore implications of dead crewmates in Lethal Company being able to contact the autopilot ship is WILD btw. Like. I know technically revival is a thing in-universe bcuz u can respawn, which arguably should be more impressive, but that could pretty easily just be some advanced tech from the future. I can see lots of theoretical scientific/technological explanations for it. What I wanna know is how dead crewmates can contact the ship while dead (PT: while dead).
It's not like their life support going offline immediately notifies the ship, bcuz it doesn't happen automatically. You have to CHOOSE to notify the ship. This implies not only that they have technology that proves the existence of an afterlife and can detect or contact spirits/ghosts/souls/whatever, but also that said entities can reach out first. My initial thought was that it's smth on the other crewmates suits, since you don't have to be near the ship to vote but you always need to be spectating a living crewmate, so they aren't making direct communication with the ship itself. Maybe something like a spirit-box on the other crewmates' suits that the ghosts can interact with, which will send a signal back to the ship. This IS an option. However it would have to be smth that wouldn't get interference from other sources, and I also don't think that flickering thru radio stations is what's happening in outer space on abandoned moons, some of which don't even have telephone lines. Could be some futuristic "radio stations" that aren't actually using our current understanding of how those work, but that still wouldn't account for interference imo. Which leads me to my next thought, which is that it's something directly on the ghosts that they can use to communicate. I have NO idea how this would work, maybe the life support on the suit leaves like an electromagnetic/spiritual/whatever imprint on the ghost as they leave the body, but I have no idea how that could be used to contact the ship, if for lack of better words, it's just an energetic fingerprint or scar. Maybe if it's causing a different or specific frequency/energy field/etc, the ship could detect that, but how the ghosts would be able to change it themselves in order to tell the ship to leave is beyond me. They'd have to be able to mess with their own electromagnetic signals, which sounds like a recipe for accidentally destroying ur entire consciousness or mutating urself into a new species or smth by mistake.
Side note, it also implies the company trains people on how to use whatever this technology is, which is both hilarious and terrifying. Do they just give u a verbal explanation and hope u figure it out the first time you die? Or do they actually make you practice by repeatedly killing you and having you notify the ship, and therefore there may be ghosts of crewmates who couldn't figure it out or who's technology malfunctioned or something just floating around in space.
There's so much to think abt here I could be here for days. I wanna come up with a feasible explanation. It's fascinating to me. I love it.
#idk if this needs some sort of tw/cw so if it does please lmk /gen#armchair speaks#lethal company#death mention

SENSE OF DIVINE DESTINY
Ephesians 5:14-18 - "Wake up from your sleep, and arise from the dead, And Christ shall shine upon you. Live life with a due sense of responsibility, not as men who do not know the meaning of life but as those who do. Make the best use of your time, despite all the evils of these days. Don't be vague but grasp firmly what you know to be the will of the Lord." As believers, we are instructed to live our daily lives with a sense of our unique divine DESTINY supported by Kingdom advancing goals and aims.
YIELDING OUR WILL
2 Corinthians 12:9 - "And he said unto me, "my grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." As we yield our wills and ways to the control of God's Holy Spirit, we begin to experience the walk of grace, as Jesus lives His life through us. The fire of passion burns brightly with this deposit of grace.
Luke 3:2 - "The word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness." The word of God came to John the Baptist while he was alone in the wilderness, thus giving him clear direction for the days ahead. As a result of his being alone with the Lord, John came into a ONENESS with the Lord that could not have been accomplished in any other way.
"I AM THE VOICE OF ONE"
John 1:23 - "John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, 'I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way for the Lord'." Each one of us should come to the place where we also could make this statement, "I am the voice of One." There is an immediate need for this voice to cry out (now that we are in touch with God’s purpose for our life) in the midst of the frustrations and perils of our present day. We need to stand in the manifest presence of the Lord to be prepared as the "voice of one crying in the wilderness" of our day. May it be stated of us, as it was of the disciples of old, that it is apparent we have been with Jesus. This, and only this, will make the changes that must occur if we are to reach this hurting world with the message of God's redemptive, transforming grace.
Affirmations: AS I RECOGNIZE MY CALLING IN CHRIST AND TURN ASIDE TO STAND BEFORE HIM, I BECOME THE EXPRESSION OF HIS VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS OF TODAY. AS I EXPERIENCE SPIRITUAL HUNGER AND SEEK FOR SOMETHING MORE, I AM CALLED APART TO BE ALONE WITH THE LORD FOR A TIME OF PREPARATION. AS I COME TO UNDERSTAND MY CHRIST IDENTITY AND RECEIVE AN IMPARTATION OF GOD'S GRACE, I ADVANCE GOD’S KINGDOM, BEARING FRUIT THAT REMAINS, IN ORDER TO SEE THE GLORY OF GOD FILL THE EARTH.

Please, consider supporting me on Ko-Fi ! ♥
The balmy early winter weather lifts the spirits of the whole gang, as Hoseok tries to put on his bow tie properly. He's nervous, as you can see in the reflection in the mirror. He pinches his lower lip, questioning everything, even though he was so close to the final conclusion of his great novel. A tap on his shoulder startled him, as Jungkook looked breathtakingly elegant in his black pinstripe suit, almost making him regret having taken a white one.
“- Nervous?
- How did you keep from fainting during yours?
- I clenched my buttocks for a whole day.
- What are you afraid of? That she'd say no?”
Yoongi arrives, in his red suit, he looks like a penguin, he really wasn't used to being in this kind of thing, but this was a special event, the fourth wedding of their group, this was a celebration. Hoseok took a deep breath as Jungkook helped him tie his right knot, before turning completely to his family, his lifelong best friends. He almost wanted to run away, but just smiled. There wasn't much to do now.
“- Come on champion, it's your big day. Let's see if she still wants you.
- And if she says no?
- Then that means you're in a nightmare.”
Hoseok breathed a little more calmly, a laugh passing his lips, before following his two witnesses, reaching the big sandy stand on Busan beach, decorated for the event, while a lot of little guests, friends from more or less far away, the groom's direct family, like the little granny glaring at him, and Elyzabeth's mother, the very beautiful Elhya. It had taken Jimin a year to recover from his injuries, but now he was doing really well, he'd started working as a choreographer for the nightclub, he'd also married Yoongi the year before, after adopting the adorable little being that was Chun, a little Chinese boy now aged two. Taehyung, too, was at the top of his game, having bought out Damarro's clinic, and the hospitals he managed, becoming a firm medical director, the clinic open free to the poorest, living off donations from businessmen, and presidents. It had been hard for Hoseok too, but not impossible, little Lilya had grown up well, now ten years old, with a strong character, and he had learned that the beautiful Elyzabeth was pregnant again with a little girl. They had brought down the young woman's father, taking over the confectionery business, and she had left the medical world for good, reconnecting at the same time with her mother and grandmother, who had welcomed her with the joy of parents delighted to see her alive.
“- You look very elegant in that suit.
- Thank you, Madame Ivanovich.
- My granddaughter would be stupid to say no to you.”
The assembly laughed, as Hoseok took his place in front of the master of ceremonies, the advancing time making him nervous, before the beautiful Elyzabeth arrived, in her pretty pink and yellow dress. She was breathtakingly beautiful, and he tried to remain upright in the face of such beauty. The ceremony is quiet, discreet, and when the famous kiss comes, cries ring out and flower petals fall on them. Elyzabeth seems delighted, Hoseok seems at the height of happiness. The difficult page of Damarro is finally turned, leaving a happy married couple, under a pleasant first snow, celebrating life and sweetness.
“- To us!”
The End.
