I randomly felt like watching this edit again and ohh ... the feelings😭😭 This video basically carried me through my last semester and final exams at high school, I literally watched it multiple times every day (I swear a couple hundred views are from me alone), on the bus ride to school in the morning, when I got home again, before going to bed, just in between because I felt like it ... Internally I wasn't doing that well at the time, and it just brought me so much comfort. OVERVIEW: "By 1980 MOTÖRHEAD had become a massive live attraction, selling out everywhere they played. During the summer the band headlined “The Over the Top Heavy Metal Brain Damage Party” (great title for a rock concert) at Bingley Hall, Staffordshire.

A comic programme, which featured “The Overwhelming MOTÖRHEAD” in “Rock Commando” was produced especially for (reportedly exclusive) distribution at their Bingley Hall concert.

I didn’t attend the gig (at least I don’t think I did, unless perhaps the Heavy Metal Brain Damage really has got to me 🙂 ) but I have a copy of the comic which I must have bought at a later gig, probably at the Mayfair later that year.

The comic was written by Klaus Blum with a section from Alan Burridge of Motorheadbangers, and features a great comic strip adventure with our heroes in a futuristic England and France."

In 2020 the entire world was in quarantine, and so were Cas and Dean, thanks to JessJesstheBest's lovely fic. In this story, Cas and Dean are still in the getting-to-know each other stage of dating when they decide to take their relationship to the next stage and quarantine together for two weeks. Fluff and adorableness ensues, but also, they learn how to co-exist and make space for each other in their lives.

The conversation of sharing a bed and what that entails in particular is one of the best scenes (and trust me, there are plenty to choose from) and honestly completely relatable for any new couple and not just limited to couples were one of the two is ace. Did I mention Cas is ace in this? Because he is, and we love him for it. We need more ace!Cas in this fandom in my humble opinion, but JessJesstheBest is doing Jack's work in bringing us all the good represantation.

My only warning is that since this fic is set during the the pandemic-though covid is not mentioned in explicit detail-please be mindful as the topic may be triggering.

aromanticism and asexuality are still treated as issues to be fixed in most therapy settings, at least in the western psychiatric institution. i cannot fucking mention my aromanticism or asexuality to a therapist or it’ll immediately become their primary concern and goal to fix. whether or not i have a partner/am trying to have a partner is actively being used as an indicator of my wellness, regardless of if i WANT one. i cannot have access to needed mental health ressources because of fear of conversion therapy. aro and/or ace conversion therapy is the norm in most psychiatric institutions and we are getting told by the rest of the queer community that our oppression isnt real and that there is no link between our struggles and theirs.
