Summer Rain: Sick in the Rain 2

Season: Spring
Characters: Niki, Rinne
Niki: “That’s my line, stupid.”
Studio, 1 week after
Niki: Mogu mogu mogu (eating a snack)
Niki: (The director and everyone welcomed me back with open arms. Even if I’m not that good of an actor…)
Niki: (Weird though…How did they know I would agree to finishing the movie before I even told them?)
Niki: (...Nee-san…Don’t tell me you were conspiring with them~) Rinne: Niki, are you ready? Niki:! Yeah, coming, Rinne-kun.
Niki: (Rinne-kun looked happy when I told him and the others that I’ll finish the movie.)
Niki: (He never asked why, just laughed and told me to get into costume.) Niki: (Maybe Nee-san is right. He looked excited again during filming. Is it really because of me?) Niki: (Sorry for not noticing, Rinne-kun) Rinne: See you in a bit, Niki~ (he walks off)
Niki: (With my return, we managed to finish filming all the remaining scenes.) Niki: (And now it’s down to this one. The penultimate scene. The one where our characters kiss-)
Niki: …
Niki: (It’s not like it’s a real kiss! Director-san said it can be a fake kiss and with camera angles they’ll make it look real!)
Niki:...
Niki: (But why does that seem…so wrong now?)
Niki:...
Niki:Urgh!! AAAGh!! Why is this so difficult!!
Niki: Oh! Sorry, Director-san. I’m okay! Niki: Yeah, I’m ready.
Niki: (I’ll worry about the fake kiss when it comes to it! First we have to get to that part.)
Niki: (Okay, so I have to run around in the fake rain, looking back and forth for Rinne-kun’s character. When I find him I need to freeze, then turn around and try to escape.)
Niki: (My character panics about taking that initiative.)
Niki: (breathing heavily as he runs) Rinne:...
Niki: (Rinne-kun’s character grabs my arm before I can escape. Pulls me in and catches me as I trip and fall against him.)
Niki: (And then he says the lines-)
Rinne: “Why won’t you listen to me? What are you so afraid of?”
Rinne: “If you keep running, you’ll get lost in the storm. It’ll sweep you away in an instant.”
Rinne: “I’ll lose sight of you. I don’t want that to happen.”
Niki: “…” Rinne: “Well?” Niki: “I…”
Niki: (and then I…What was I supposed to do?) Niki: “...” Rinne: “...”
Niki: (Rinne-kun…Looks ethereal like this.)
Niki: (He’s looking at me with such soft eyes I…I think I need to do this)
Rinne: “!”
Niki: (Oh wait I didn’t stop like I was supposed to- I actually kissed him…!)
Niki:... Rinne: “... I’m so glad I fell in love with you.”
Niki: “…”
Niki: “That’s my line, stupid.”
Rinne: “…”
Niki: “Ri-” Niki:! (is suddenly kissed)
Niki: “I thought you wanted to wait for marriage, nahaha.”
Rinne: “I couldn’t wait anymore.”
Niki: (I can hear the staff screaming. Looks like the director is crying. Same for the Assistant director.) Niki: (Nahaha…people really are into this, huh. Sorry for being stupid, everyone.)
Niki: (Rinne-kun’s still looking at me so sweetly…I could melt. He’s blushing so cutely too~) Niki: (Rinne-kun, you really are a good actor. Being able to keep your cool right now. I think I might combust~)
Fade out niki cg Niki: (whispers) Kohaku-chan and Himeru-kun are looking impatient. Kohaku-chan just rolled his eyes at us.
Rinne: Don’t care~ (moves in to kiss him over and over again)
Niki: (Rinne-kun’s kisses taste like honey. I feel like I’m getting addicted to them.)
Niki: (We should probably stop- No one has turned the fake rain off because they’re too busy whispering between themselves.)
Niki: (We might get sick.) Niki: (But…I don’t want this to stop. Nahaha.)
Niki: (Please…Drown me in your honey, Rinne-kun.) Translator Note:
