Hello :) i'm here for some stancy headcanon-stuff!

Robin&Vickie and Steve&Nancy have a double date together after they defeat Vecna and life is back to normal. Where all have silly fun together and how Robin and Steve tease each other about how Steve always knew since the beginning that Vickie is the right girl for Robin. Just like Robin knew and felt, that Steve and Nancy belong together.

Steve and Nancy have finally their missed romantic dance together, since they didn't have the chance at the snow ball back then. Maybe even while "their" song Africa by Toto is playing.

Steve and Nancy say their iconic lines to each other, but this time it's the other way around: "You're beautiful, Steve Harrington", after Nancy realized how handsome Steve is. From the inside and outside. "You're an idiot, Nancy Wheeler" after Nancy did or said something funny/goofy. Learning from him how to relax more. :)

Steve and Nancy are travelling with an Rv, similar to the one we saw in season 4. They're going on many adventures together, exploring different beautiful places, like the ones, Steve mentioned in the last season. They are enjoying each others company and have a great, romantic time, like watching the sunset on a beach. Being "the most important part" in their mutual dream. And when the time feels right, everything can be possible... maybe even some little nuggets.

Steve and Nancy sitting next to each other in her room and are smiling about the love letter Steve wrote to Nancy back then, after she found it again. And while doing so, Steve says, that he knew since the beginning that she is the one for him. And Nancy reveals that she couldn't throw the letter away, even after all these years, because it was too important to her.

Maybe i could give you some Inspiration. :)

Seriously, I can't say which one is my favourite. I also headcanon Stancy and Rovickie going out together after all is safe again. Steve even suggested something like this to Nancy in the Creel house, though of course he never would have imagined it to be a double date.

Ah, and I love the idea of Steve and Nancy having a very belated Snow Ball dance! I forgot in which scene "Africa" was playing, but it sure fits them!

Steve wrote Nancy a love letter?!😳???????? When? How? Where? What did I miss here?🤯

Aaaaaaaaaah, and the swapping of their lines! I love it!!!!😍😍😍🫠🫠🫠

And of course travelling together - I really loved how Steve describing his dream in s4 painted a perfect opposite picture to the loveless marriage of Nancy's parents, which Jonathan painted as her fate if she stuck with Steve, during their argument in s1. It's also beautiful for Steve to share this vulnerable side of him with her, when in s2 he talked about ending up working for his father, in a defeated way.

I definitely wanna do something with these, probably more than I have time for, but the wheels are turning!😁🙏❤️

Things I’m noticing on this rewatch, which I’m hoping to take slow and ponder on but we will see how it goes, PART THREE (obviously major Good Omens season 2 spoilers throughout, specifically for S2E3)

- First, going back to the previous episode: thank you to the person who reminded me that the Dirty Donkey pub is the pub that Crowley plans his holy water heist in!! (Which means Crowley LITERALLY planned his heist on Aziraphale’s stoop, unless Aziraphale moved the pub to be closer to himself in case it happened again. Hmmmm.)

- Also. I have been reminded that “Give me coffee or give me death” is a modified quote of “give me liberty or give me death” by an American revolutionary. Which. Explains all the Statues of Liberty around the place. I am Slow.

- Anyway, to e3: the fact that Jim has a labeled mug and hot chocolate canister. I feel like he tried to ingest something he wasn’t supposed to, so Aziraphale made sure he had his name on his things XD

- The sex worker is a treasure, for one; I hope I am reminded of her name soon.

- MURIEL. SWEET ANGEL BABY. Sorry they’re not a baby but they are so adorably innocent and inexperienced. I love that Aziraphale treats them so kindly despite his obvious terror. Though. It is a kindness that reminds me of my coworkers. I work in childcare. I know a “childcare” disposition when I see it.

- Okay, the framing there: the box, and the hat. The mystery, and the detective cap. Excellent.

- The gentle tutelage, Muriel’s scrunchy face when they realize what tea is for—I’m just SCREECHING.

- AND CROWLEY GETTING IN ON IT. THE WAY HIS WHOLE DEMEANOR IMMEDIATELY GOES FROM BITCHING TO DELIGHTED. AAAAAAAAAAH.

- AND HE’S SITTING. ON THE ARM. OF AZIRAPHALE’S CHAIR.

- The coparenting. Muriel’s utter naivety. I’m just.

- Thing the first about the opening theme: Crowley crawls up the cliff and Aziraphale lands on it. Just a nice touch.

- The movie theater in the opening has a different feature title and picture on the big screen every episode. I missed it for the first one but last time it was “A Companion to Owls” (which is a verse from Job that I only know because the full quote is “I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls” and it was a lamentation but of course teenage Quilly thought that was the coolest thing she had ever read). This time: The Resurrectionists, coupled with a shot of the Gabriel statue.

- I think Crowley’s hair is s1 color in this minisode but I can’t be sure. Lighting is…not. :P

- THE BONUS CONTENT SAYS NEIL GAIMAN THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN TO LET DAVID TENNANT DO AS MANY SCOTTISH ACCENTS AS HE CAN THIS CHAPTER. I AM DELIGHTED

- The second Elspeth says “English” Crowley starts losing it, which in turn makes ME lose it.

- I love the bringing back in the discussion from the book about privilege making its way here, and given a more visceral illustration and testing. Though I love Crowley literally helping Elspeth pull the wagon, a thing I’m not sure he’s ever willingly done in his life, and poking holes in Aziraphale’s arguments all the way.

- Wee Morag’s morals have about the same utility in this situation as Aziraphale’s, tbh. I’m not sure I have the mental capacity tonight to deconstruct that the way it deserves.

- Aha! Knew I recognized the tune in the car! Danse Macabre!

- He is AFFECTIONATE towards the BENTLEY. Which Crowley can FEEL.

- YELLOW CAR. DAMN YOU JOHN FINNEMORE.

- but it is pretty, Crowley!

- Spoilsport.

- I fully did not internalize the tartan hills and Nessie the first time around. I saw them. I immediately chalked them up to personal fever dream.

- The demon’s name is Josh. Why is that delightful??

- He wears a kilt! And has a wonderful little monologue about dung pits and tongue ripping!

- Beelzebub being off is subtle. Almost too subtle.

- The many stacks of books Crowley carries around and then chucks this episode. Love it.

- Crowley not having a cow about a fly seems weird tbh

- Vavoom. Where tf did he learn the word vavoom

- “David Tennant has occasionally played a doctor” OH HAS HE NOW

- the almost musical pulls Michael Sheen does for miracles this season. Lovely.

- Also: the dual nature of Mr. Dalrymple. Needs bodies to do good and study so he can save lives. Treats the people bringing him the bodies like dirt.

- Okay: is Crowley freezing time, or just putting Dalrymple in a mental time out? Very curious to know. The trivia bit on the side references the s1 trick of having Jean-Claude’s actor stand very still to achieve the time stop there, so perhaps freezing time?

- Alright moment of silence for how very very good Crowley’s outfit is this scene. Yum.

- The instant penny drop when Aziraphale realizes the reason for the body snatching, how he immediately uses prevention of future harm to classify it as Good.

- Also. His emotional reaction to the kid’s tumor. ;A;

- Edinburgh is so colorful!!

- HIS SMUG LITTLE GRIN WHEN HE POPS OUT HIS HAT AND NOTEBOOK. Also, wtf is in his hat. What is that.

- Okay but the double sided sign, and how Aziraphale first sees the Jesus side. IMPORTANT. PAINFUL.

- PRESS 66. That’s what’s in the hat.

- And Aziraphale being every bit as awkward as Muriel in his interrogation. Just slightly less weird. Angels.

- Listen I’ll probably say it again at episode 6 but the sheer magnitude of the importance that Gabriel and Beelzebub fell in love over the course of a year—with EACH OTHER. Not with earth or humans or creation. Just each other. Hggk.

- Alright, but Aziraphale DOES see the other half of the sign here. Does he get it? DOES HE GET IT?? No. Of course not.

- “I’ll help but it still doesn’t make it right.” That is such an uncomfortable truth to sit with. The whole adventure is, really. The whole show. SHADES OF GREY.

- Okay, I’m pausing this episode way too much, it’s been over an hour since I started this episode, but—the way Aziraphale overcorrects is. Sad? Elspeth and Wee Morag aren’t here to decrease human suffering. Outside of their own, of course, which can also be achieved by digging up a body that’s fresh. Scope of intent and how Aziraphale simplifies and moralizes it. Huh.

- Lot more this season about Aziraphale’s miracle allowances, too. Very interesting concept.

- MIGHT HAVE SLIGHTLY OVERDONE IT ON THE HOLE. MIGHT YOU INDEED.

- interesting how his dithering is what causes his chance to heal Wee Morag to slip through his fingers. And yet raising her is out of the question. Can Aziraphale even do that? We know he and Crowley together generate a ton of power, but what about on his own?

- interesting that elspeth takes Wee Morag to Dalrymple and is already contemplating suicide despite her actions suggesting she intended to keep on living. Hmm.

- Dalrymple the Ass. Not just unwilling to get his own hands dirty but disparaging of those who will. Another moral dichotomy.

- And elspeth also not wanting to get dug up? Wee Morag’s death affecting her?

- CROWLEY OFF HIS HEAD WITH LAUDANUM IS THE FUNNIEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME

- How much is 90 guineas compared to 5 pounds? …google says a guinea is worth slightly more than a pound. So. For the eight pounds Elspeth and Wee Morag were aiming for, for the three pounds shafted that Wee Morag died for…Aziraphale literally had over ten times that amount in his pocket. MORALS.

- …the stupid special features had the math onscreen already. Sort of. Heck.

- Yeah okay this scene adds way more context to Crowley asking for holy water fifty or so years later. Yikes. YIKES. The implications of it all!!

- Asking the phone nicely. Love these little Aziraphaleisms.

- The little tipping of his cap!! Adorable!

- Nina and Maggie actually TALKING. HEY CROWLEY ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION???

- The rain is overdone and the awning rips. Gosh. Whatever could that be implying?

- Seriously how is Crowley able to pull these spells out of Jim?? And seemingly ONLY him???

- Alright, this prophecy bit. Seems to me to be about the future, also about the past, which is very biblical tbh. Specifically Isaiah. But I’m not up to snuff enough on my Bible to tell what all Gabriel is quoting. Besides the Buddy Holly.

- Okay, realizing that no angels pop up in Aziraphale’s shop in season 1, either. Gabriel and Sandalphon enter from the outside. I’ll need to rewatch to see if Aziraphale actively invites them in, or if it’s just blocking. I think it might just be blocking. But what an interesting detail, that only humans can enter at will and all else must be invited!

- The threatening of Aziraphale continues. The anxiety of Crowley intensifies. The obliviousness of Jim resets.

- Always too late. Poor Crowley.

Yeah this took an hour and a half to watch XD but I’m having fun. And killing quite a lot of time. Am I making sense or creating a thoughtful analysis? No, I don’t think so. But I’m solidifying the canon in my head, at least.

RWBY V9E8 - Tea Amidst Terrible Trouble

I waited a week for like 15 minutes of pain. It is time for quick rambling about chapter 8.

I'm glad we didn't get like, a pep talk from Little to cheer Rubes up like some people were expecting. It wouldn't really gel thematically since the entire volume's been leading up to her abandoning herself, and even if she was just gonna get a simple pep talk to "fix" everything, I would prefer it come from her team and not the character of the volume. Not that Little isn't great, I love them and would burn the world for them, but still.

On that note, I felt like I got shot point blank with a shotgun seeing all those familiar faces at Neo's tea party table. Of all the characters those stupid silhouettes in the intro could have been, I was NOT expecting it to be the people who have died thus far (though in hindsight I feel like it was obvious, but bleh that's how it is). I do wish the actual bit of her wandering into Neo's little mansion there was a bit more...there, but I get that time is limited this volume and you don't wanna spend precious minutes on a single character getting from point A to point B. Besides, the way it was framed worked well enough with Neo's whole thing being messing with reality in the Ever After apparently.

As for the tea party itself, man. That was...brutal. Far more than I was expected. The fact that Ruby's aura broke early (as to expected from a seven/eight vs one) meant that she was getting hurt, evident by the. You know. Blood and bruises. The Cat tore into her, and the fact that she straight up killed that illusory Oscar? God, Neo, you're such a bitch, I love you for that.

Speaking of Neo, I had an inkling we'd see something like this from her way back when the mechanics of the Ever After were being explained. Once she achieves her purpose (which has been the only thing she's given a single shit about since her reintroduction in volume 6), then what? What happens to her? And the answer is...she goes catatonic? Sure, I'll bite. And the Cat straight up possessing her is a good way of tying in Neo to the main plot of escaping the Ever After, ya kill two birds with one stone that way. Also she's probably going to die at the end of all this. I'll miss you, Ice Cream Wife, but let's be real. You had it coming.

GOD ugh next week we're going to see what actually happens to someone when the Ever After swallows them up. But I want to know now! Right now! I need to know if Ruby is okay and I need to see her reconcile with her teammates and Jaune and aaaaaaaaaah okay I'm losing the ability to think coherently. Should I have written this in the morning when I'm not dead tired (thank you timezones)? Yes. But I needed to get these thoughts out now or else I wouldn't be able to sleep. I'm gonna watch the episode again and go to sleep.

One last thing. Hearing Billy's voice come out of Torchwick, even if it was only for a few lines, hurt me. A lot. I miss that man. Taken way too soon and way too suddenly. Rest easy, my dude.

Mediaposting 2023, #39 and #40: The Bear (seasons 1 and 2)

1: it is so good that most of the episodes of the show are only 30-ish minutes long because i think i would go insane if they are longer

2: season 1 is incredibly stressful the entire time and then season 2 is a weird mix where it is more long-term stressful (AND THE CHRISTMAS EPISODE IS. AAAAAAAARGH) while also having the fucking best single-episode character-focused slow burns

3: please for the love of god watch this show it does character arcs so well

4: i don't actually dislike [romantic interest in season 2] as much as a lot of other people seem to but i also dont really care about them. like they could have been turned into literally any other kind of distraction including an inanimate one and it still would have worked ok. idk they're just not that interesting lol

5: the cinematography of the final ep of season 2 is so good. the fucking freezer ying/yang scene w carm and richie. chefs kiss

6: i think the christmas episode is one of the best television episodes ever made

7: I LOVE YOU DUDE (starts sobbing)!!!!!!!

8: the fact that theres a 7-minute monologue in the same episode as a one-take 17 minute thing is so. god

9: i feel like i need to rewatch stuff bc they plant little clues everywhere and dont just Tell you things a lot but its all there if you're looking for it. its so nice to find another show like this where theres so much showing rather than telling. man

anyway yeah. watch this show. it has a lot of moments where things are visual metaphors but so many people keep misreading them on [insert social media platform here] and it drives me insane bc theyre obviously not literal. also some moments are wild and are obviously only there to push the story forward but thats okay i can accept it in this show.

also i REALLY appreciate that most of the cast outside of carmen/his relatives is not white and everyone is still written well. like sydney and tina being two of the most important characters in the show while also being incredibly well written (syd especially since she's one of the two main leads) makes me so happy. the rest of the supporting cast is absolutely fantastic too (MARCUS AND RICHIEEEE). the only thing i feel like im missing at this point is an ebra-focused ep bc he so badly needs one

Skyrim Dragonborn story and asks thingie that @lucien-lachance tagged me for a long time ago. I tag... um... I dunno lol Ethaniel LaChance is the son of Malkhai (Ale'Zandre) LaChance, The Hero of Kvatch, and Lucien LaChance, the Speaker of the Dark Brotherhood. Prior to the events of Skyrim, his wife and children were murdered by a Thalmor mage he could not identify, and Malkhai had gone missing. Hungering for revenge, and sure that the Thalmor had something to do with his mother's disappearance, he was determined to hunt the Thalmor down to the very last one, and save his mother if his suspicion about their involvement in her disappearance was correct. He managed to slay quite a few very powerful and skilled Thalmor, but there was one mage that proved to be too powerful for him-- he was defeated, strung up, and sent out to Helgen to be executed. ((blablabla--dragon showed up, "oh my there are dragons coming back to Skyrim--aaah!"--fire, blood,death, escape blablabla))

He's had the Blood of the Wolf since conception, but never considered becoming a full-fledged werewolf until the Companions' tantalizing promise of power that could give him the extra edge he needs to defeat his sworn enemies.

Soon after Ethaniel and Aela become lovers. Though Ethaniel becomes the Harbinger, though he always went to Aela for her advice before making big decisions for the Companions.

A voice begins to call to Ethaniel, usually at night. He dismisses it as the wind whistling through cracks in the home. Eventually, it gets the point he cannot ignore it any longer. He doesn't tell Aela that he is hearing a voice, just says he feels a calling to the north. He thinks he recognizes the voice-- but it couldn't be! He's been dead nearly two-hundred years! (no, I'm so not taking this from Frozen 2! This happened in my head before that movie existed!)

The voice leads him to a house in Windhelm, where he finds a boy named Aventus, doing some weird summoning ritual. He thinks Ethaniel's the Listener and tells him he wants an abusive woman at an orphanage killed. Ethnaiel, having soft spot for kids, does this for him (Blablabla, past the okay but kind of bleh parts of the questline, bla blabla) is reunited with Shadowmere, and then... given a scroll that summons an assassin spirit from the Void that Astrid does not name. She just says he was a great legend of his time (Player does some internal screaming and fangirling because she knows... AAAAAAAAAAH!) The Spectral Assassin makes a dramatic appearance-- the entire area is ignited with red Void fire, which only consumes Ethaniel's enemies and doesn't even singe a hair on his or his family's body. Out from a portal leaps a human figure that wastes no time slicing and dicing through the Thalmor, like it was personal... BECAUSE IT IS EHEHEHEHEHEE! Then, when everything clears, Ethaniel approaches the spectre. He can make out the details of the spirit's face as he gets closer, and when he thinks he recognizes him he is moved to tears. "Father??" He cries The spirit smiles, nods, then says "I live... again." (AAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!) There is no mistaking. Though many imperials of his time sounded like him, for some reason, his had a distinct, gravely purr. It rolled like thunder, and had the power to chill as it turned bones into jelly.

"It is you! It is you!! FATHER!!" And they hug! AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! Not many huge story bits I can think of past this point, except they do find Malkhai and all three of them destroy the Thalmor embassy. Ah, quality family time! Oh, and yes, there's the rest of the DB questline and the main questline, he says "screw you" to the Blades for asking him to kill his dragon friend, they kill Alduin, the end Wait, there is no end, cause Skyrim keeps going ON and ON and ON

First to come on stage was Tomoya. Then Ryota. Then Toru. And the start of my "putangina ang gwapo ni Toru" vomit. I know it's not appropriate but so is Toru. I mean, he's probably the reason why I chose this side of the stage, right? Right.

By this time, it still did not dawn on me that the first song is Wonder because I am just staring at a treasure that is Yamashita Toru.

And then here comes Takahiro. My scream was W-I-L-D. No shit. If there was a bias-wrecker in J-rock, mine was definitely Taka that night. (Or maybe until now? Lord I miss him alam ko may pila po pero pwede akin na lang siya)

I'm a person who goes to concert without searching for the setlist so I was so happy they started the concert with Wonder. I had a recent trip in ZamBaSulTa (Zamboanga-Basilan-Sulo-TawiTawi) and I used this song for my travel reel I was so happy.

Towards the end of the song, Ryota, Taka and Toru all went at the center of the stage and did some choreo. It was so cute coordinated like a boy band so why choose between a boy band and a rock band when you can choose ONE OK ROCK hahaha  

2. Save Yourself

We missed them so much, Araneta was trembling with how loud our voices were as we sang along with Taka. We were crazy happy fans who waited for their return. ♡

I think he said something to sing as loud as we can and I think we exceeded his expectations (we were so good we should be proud of ourselves 🎤)

I thought they would sing the English lyrics but Taka was singing the Japanese lyrics. I was so happy. We've come a long way from their first concert here in 2016 🤧

We were so excited that we sang the "oh" part immediately but Taka was quick to put us back on track.

Taka: "Believe that time is always forever" and after his part he goes "now please sing it everybody"

Us: "Believe that time is always forever"

Now the best part:

Taka belted and sustained that note for a good freaking almost 30 seconds long and we sang along with him harmonizing with that long sustained note we were perfectly in sync (Araneta posted a video of that if I'm not mistaken so go ahead and check it out)

Any ONE OK ROCK fan deserves to hear and sing along with Clock Strikes live. It is meant to be heard live. 🕐

6. I Was King

We were so good and loud at singing along and singing all those "oh" we'll never know that it was raining so hard outside during the concert (I just knew that when I finally had a phone signal outside the venue 😅)

I was so intently watching Taka when I realized that Toru was also singing along to that "if I go down I will go down fighting" and I let out yet another loud scream for Yamashita Toru my god I love him Lord wala po ba siyang duplicate 😭

Taka let us sing that part where it's one octave higher and did we fail him? Of course we didn't. Like I've been saying, we were so good. ✨️

7. Renegade

I'm not sure if it was on this song or later but I am starting to put everything in my bag (face mask that's been on my elbow, the belt I was wearing that kept on getting loose hahaha) in preparation to all the jumpings Taka would ask us to do 🤣

Everyone singing this line with feelings, loud and clear:

I love him so much I scream so loud for him like a crazy fangirl. It's embarrassing but what can I do? He's been getting on my nerves in a good way since I watched Fool Cool Rock at a cinema in Jakarta wayback 2014 (but started listening to the band around 2012) That's more that 10 years of emotional investment so bear with me 🙈

Toru: "Kumusta kayo Manila!"

I think he also said "namiss namin kayo, namiss niyo din ba ako" but I'm really not sure I'm just screaming my heart out to whatever he was saying 🤣

(The way he said that "we love you guys so much" was so cute but of course he's my favourite I like everything he does I am a trash for this man hahaha)

Krystle's ichiban is Tomoya so imagine her hysterical call out "TOMOYAAAA" when it was finally his time to talk to us. I am very happy we were all happy that night 🥰

Tomoya: "Maraming salamat. Masaya akong nandito para sa inyo."

Me: "Yung friend ko po masaya" *then I attempted to take a video of her to capture that happiness. Keyword: attempt 🤣

Then he mentioned Sisig and I laughed because we've been talking about Sisig even before we entered the venue. We were looking for Sisig when we were drinking beer before the concert. Now we have Tomoya speaking about it. Talk about Sisig supremacy 🍻

Tomoya was perfectly pronouncing the words in Filipino if I were to rank them all, he's probably the first honor 👏

Tomoya ended his talk by asking us "handa na ba kayo?" and on to the next part of the concert: The instrumental.

Instrumental

It started with Toru and oh dear heavens I love him so much I am so happy he's happily married but I hope Mrs. Yamashita is not bothered by us fans swooning over her husband because HE.IS.FREAKING.GOOD.

And just when I thought that I was all for Toru on that segment, Ryota goes and plays that bass riff confusing me on where to focus my attention then Tomoya drum rolling I LOVE THEM ALL.

Slowly I realized what the next song was, then Taka appeared on stage, and we're on the 8th song of the night.

8. Neon

Ryota's basslines then Toru's guitar riffs it was such a good intro 😭😭😭

I'm not sure what was wrong, was it Taka's in-ear or was it him forgetting the lyrics because he told us to "sing it please" for the second verse and briefly went off the stage. At one point it was just the band again and when I heard how clear Toru's riffs without the vox I screamed so loud I think I confused the people around me 🙈 Again, whatever Toru does, I.LET.OUT.A.LOUD.SCREAM. 🙈

By the second chorus, Taka is back again. By the last chorus, I can barely hear Taka singing, then the song ends… and so we thought. 

Taka shouted "One more time! Neon!" we thought he'd only repeat the second part of the song but no, we had a Neon-rerun. Hindi makapayag si Taka nang ganon-ganon na lang matatapos yung kanta. Lord mahal ko na po yata si Takahiro pwede po bang siya na lang please 😭

It was so fun because it was like we had a rehearsal and now we know what to do but even knowing that Toru would be doing that so-damn-good-guitar-riff, I still screamed the same way I did when I heard it for the first time, just a couple of minutes earlier 🙈

9. Vandalize

Confession: I just listened to the whole Luxury Disease album last July, on a long land trip from Zamboanga del Sur to Zamboanga del Norte. I know the songs but I don't know the words perfectly. But I'm only one among the crowd and the majority knows the song by heart. Filipino fans are really good at singing along with their favourites at concerts. 👏

10. Make It Out Alive

Takahiro was a scene stealer. Writing this, recalling the concert one song on the setlist at a time, this song has a good guitar intro but I was so intently watching Taka as he commanded the crowd to do what he wanted us to do. Only when Toru went near our part of the stage did I realize his existence. 

All the jumping I did on this concert was insane I can't believe I did all that having only breakfast as my last meal before the concert, was on my foot since 4:30 PM and I jumped with my bag on how the hell did I do that is beyond me 😅

The crowd was so hyped. People were stomping their feet as if a child was throwing tantrums that they wanted more. Funnier because we did that when the next song was an acoustic song. I think it was also on this part when Taka tried to copy us stomping his feet he was so cute Lord gusto ko siyang ibulsa akin na lang siya please 😭

11. Your Tears Are Mine

Taka made this song a lot more emotional than it was supposed to be by saying that it's been so long since we last saw each other, 5 years to be exact. 

He asked us to sing along with the song. And if we didn't know the lyrics, it would be flashed on the screen to guide us.

I thought our peak to exceed his expectations of us was when we sang perfectly to Wherever You Are last 2016 but this song was a great competition. 

Krystle as I was intently watching Takahiro: "Tumingin ka naman kay Toru. Nakakalimutan mo (na siya)" 🤣🤣🤣

And she was so right 🤣 I mean this was an acoustic song and if it was in 2016, I know all my heart and soul would be for Yamashita Toru but Takahiro was just sparkling that night. He's glowing and I was really blinded by that light (shet Takahiro mahal na yata talaga kita at nagiinarte ako nang ganito panagutan mo ito leche kaaaa hahahaha)

But it was our time to steal their hearts. After belting that sustained note, Toru stopped playing the guitar and we know it was time for us to sing our part. As Taka asked us if we were ready, he signaled us when to sing and it was one of the most magical part of the concert ✨

The whole time Taka was guiding us with the song, and on that last lyric, he signaled us to pause and we did, perfectly. Not a sound was heard at the venue for a brief moment until Taka showed us how satisfied he was with what happened and we let out our giggles of happiness. Then like a very happy kid, he let out a big smile, pointing at him and at us to sing the last part together. 

There's really a different kind of happiness when fans are given moments like this and they deliver really well. I love this fan-artist interaction in concert. ♡

12. Change

The scream I let out when I realized that the next song was Change I love this song and I could've heard it at EOTS tour but pandemic happened I dreamed of hearing this live when I watched the Youtube streaming of their orchestra concert plainly simply I just love this song and finally I am hearing it live I was so hysterically screaming and you can actually feel my feels reading this account without any punctuation marks 🤣

Taka: "Sing it!"

I was so ready to sing along to the chorus but motherfuxking Yamashita Toru stole the part because he was singing harmonizing along and instead of singing I just screamed so loud by this time I'm not sure if I love the song or I love him I guess it's both because I am crazy like that.

Also, Takahiro sang the lyrics in Japanese and the JP version of this song is not even on Spotify on this side of the world I was so happy.

This song was so fun I was dancing (I think this was also the time when Taka went to Toru and like grooved to the song I love them 😭) screaming, singing along I was so happy my feelings were all over the place I love watching concerts 🤧

Grabe 12 songs lang pero ang dami nang nangyari. 😭

It was feelings after feelings because right after Change, a piano chord that was so familiar played, and we're on to our next song.

13. The Beginning

Another crowd favourite. Everyone was on their feet from floor area up to the Gen Ad. Everyone jumping. Everyone singing along. It was a feast.

We were so great and Taka acknowledged that a couple of times.

VIP standing experience with this crowd was insane. Phones were still up but at least no one was there just to watch the concert on their phone screens. We were having so much fun ☆

I screamed way too loud when everyone went to the center stage to do their signature move. Like Clock Strikes, all ONE OK ROCK fan deserves to see this song performed live. 

14. Stand Out Fit In

Taka asked us to kneel / sit and signaled us when to jump and we had our cue when Taka said "3 2 1 JUMP!" it was so fun and chaotic I remember jumping crazily for the most part of the song it was worth all the bodyache after concert 🤣 By this time nasisiraan na ako ng bait kasi pupunta sa harap si Takahiro tapos lalapit si Toru tapos rinig na rinig ko yung bass ni Ryota tapos ang saya-saya ni Tomoya nasa point na ako nito na alam kong patapos na yung concert kasi masyado nang masaya 😭

*small talk kasi chinacharing kami ni Takahiro na last song na yung next pero gago ang sarap pakinggan ng boses niya bwiset hoy panagutan mo talaga itong feelings ko tangina 🤣*

because we really were the best crowd to the best band that night. 

We need to stay alive for 3 years because Taka said that they're making a new album and will probably return in 3 years 💪

15. Wasted Nights

The LED screen here was so good. By the chorus at the "Let's live like we're immortals" part, it zoomed on the stage then towards the crowd it was like watching a DVD but in real life I'm bad at explaining but it was good camera work. 

I was not prepared that Taka would sing the Japanese lyrics 😭 Add to the fact that in the few travel reels that I made on my Instagram account with OOR songs, all of them were performed at the concert. 🤧

Taka: Sing it!

Us: I don't want to wait, I don't want to waste a night

And the next thing we know, by the last chorus of the song, confettis were up in the air. It would be difficult to top this experience. This is on par with my feelings when I attended L'ArChristmas and that says a lot 😭

I don't know what happened but I'm sure before the concert Krystle was in front of me, then beside me and after the chaos calmed down I just realized that she was already behind me 🤣

Tapos nagkaroon na kami ng oras para pag-usapan na ang gwapo ni Taka huling gwapong gwapo ako kay Toru nag-announce ng registration of marriage eeh punyeta Takahiro umamin ka hahahaha

Everyone was so hyped for We Are. Krystle asked me what song I would like to hear (she has an idea of the setlist as she attended the Taiwan leg of the tour), was it We Are or Wherever You Are and I said that I love them too much I'd accept whatever they give and it was this next song.

16. Wherever You Are

I was lucky to have attended all their concerts here in Manila and lucky enough to watch this song performed live for the third time. But I know there were also first-timers among the crowd so I am happy they got to watch and sing along with this live. 

I think this was the first time Taka let us sing the bridge part of the song. He was trying to guide us by doing hand signals like raising two fingers for futari then one finger for ichiban my god I love him and he also love us he screamed towards the end of the bridge "I love you guys so much!"

And just as I thought that my love story with Takahiro was about to begin, here comes Yamashita Toru, going at the part of the stage where I was near, and did his guitar solo right there. Motherf*cker don't want to lose a single soul under his leash he did that for me to claim me back and sir yes sir I am all yours because I have that guitar solo recorded on my phone to remind me who I really am 🤣

I don’t remember what Taka exactly said but by this time we were all screaming crazy because it seems that we’re getting another song, not included on the setlist from other tour stops.

17. Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer

Wild. Crazy. Fun. We can definitely rerun the whole concert and we’d still be full of energy. All were jumping. Singing along. Chanting. Screaming.

Taka for the last time: "Make some noise Manila!"

And we did. We were so loud, exhausted yes but we probably wanted to show them how happy we were for giving us one last song so we gave our all for the last time, at least for tonight and the concert ends. 🤧

Screams were louder when all of them went to the stage. Ryota and Toru were throwing their picks. Tomoya threw his drum stick and Taka… threw his water bottle and straw… separately 🤣

Then Toru and Taka were throwing away the shirts that they wore. Taka’s aim was so far it made it to the box area 💪🏻

Not sure if the throwing of things happened before the group photo but what I am sure of is that we've come a long way from the first time they were here last 2016. And I hope they keep on returning to us. 🫶

Was that Toru who screamed “ありがと�� Manila!” towards the end? but whoever said that, I say thank you too for choosing to come to Manila.

I had so much fun that night. I didn’t catch anything but kuya who was in our area, was kind enough to share with us the drum stick that he caught and allowed us to take a photo with it. Thank you po!

We missed ONE OK ROCK so much and I hope they had as much fun as we did. Let's make it out alive until they return. We'll be waiting 🍻
