That could be an interpretation of it yeah :00 but to be totally honest, I haven't thought it all through yet..

The intention behind that comic is its showing that Eddie used to be a human. And now he's.. well. He's Eddie.

The comic was trying to show that there was someone he used to know when he was human. His sister? His mother? Someone.. He knew someone. And now that he's in the neighborhood.. she's gone. What happened to her? Who was she? Why do I miss her so much?.. Why.. am I crying? Why am I shaking?

I think the 3 of them are no strangers to bloody scenes, but that wouldn't make seeing their Octokids so hurt any easier.. <:(( Now I'm not much of a writer, and idk if this is the kind of response you were expecting.. but none the less you have inspired me! :}}

I can see them offering their services if needed, but mostly just staying out of Peso's way and letting him do his thing. when everything winds down and they're able to see each other.. it would be tough. :((

Kwazii would be in high spirits as always despite the injuries. He would proudly tell Calico Jack about how he was bravely able to fend off multiple sharks! He expected a lot of enthusiasm from his Grandad.. "..Y-Ye did great Kwazii, ye protected yer crew well. I'm real proud of ya for that.." Instead he got a more.. somber response.

With the time Kwazii has spent with the Octonauts, he's gotten a lot better at reading people. Its not hard to tell when someone is shaken. His ears are pinned back, his tail is puffed up and flicking back and fourth.. its clear that Jack isn't taking this sight well.

Kwazii would probably sit up straighter. "Hey,, Grandad I'm.. I'm alright, ye don't need to worry." He'd gently grab Jacks arm, getting his attention. "I'll be alright, this isn't a big deal! Really, I'm ok! It looks a lot worse than it actually is."

Jack might take a deep breath and nod "..I know. I know you'll be alright, lad.." His ears were still pinned back. Kwazii frowns. "..I'm alright now Grandad. This is small, trust me.." Jack would pause.. but then nod. Seeing Kwazii so beaten is hard for Jack to stomach. But Kwazii is one tough cookie.. Just like him. He knows that things will be ok. Kwazii will be ok.. They're both ok..

When Marsh came in to see Tweak, he almost lost his composure. He knows Tweak is tough. And she's gotten hurt a lot growin up, this ain't nothin she cant handle. But gosh, this hurts. That's his little girl. It hurts so much to see her like this. She's collapsed in medbay, and has her leg all bound up in a cast.

"Pa! Heh, uh- sorry about all this. You an I were supposed to go out swimmin after that mission. I guess uh.. it'll have to wait.. heh.."

A deep breath, "Now don't chu worry bout none of that," He sat down beside her bed and pat her on the shoulder. "You just put all yer energy into gettin better. Ok? We can always go see the reef another time." His droopy ears and shaky voice wasn't helping his tough façade..

Tweaks pauses for a moment. But then offers her hand to Marsh. He takes it, confused at first.

"..I'm sorry I scared you pa.. I'll be ok.."

...Unable to reply, Marsh just nods. He sighs and wipes his tears away. Gripping Tweaks hand tighter. He sniffles, and just nods..

Natquik's meeting with Barnacles went a little smoother than the others. He is no stranger to the sight of blood. And knowing that Barnacles is tough as nails, he wasn't too worried about him.. but still. Seeing Barnacles in such a state.. it wasn't easy.

When Natquik came in, he placed a gentle paw on the bears shoulder. "Barnacles, how do you feel? Are your wounds bad..?" Barnacles' voice was gravelly and slow. He had a nasty headache after that facial injury.. "..Oh.. I'll be alright.. its nothing I.. cant recover from.."

Natquik pulls up a stool and sits beside him. "You gave me a big scare, you know. You must not do that to me! No more dangerous missions for you!" He said wagging his finger.

Barnacles chuckled. "That wasn't meant to.. be a dangerous mission. Things just.. got out of hand." Natquik nods. "Yes yes, I can see.." His tone seemed off at the end there..

"..Are you alright, Professor?" It takes Natquik a second to respond.. Seeming to think over his words. "Don't worry for me, Barnacles. I am better now that I have seen you. And you will heal fine, yes? So all is ok." His hesitation wasn't reassuring.. But he knows how Natquik is. So doesn't push it further. "Yes, despite the scene we caused.. most of these injuries are minor. We'll be.. alright." Natquik puts on a smile that cant truly be read. "That is all that matters, my friend."

Hello, hello, and thank you so much for the ask! This ended up being borderline comedy/crack fic... I hope you enjoy it. I was happy to be able to write something for you (and of course, Masamune).

Title: A Dramatic Pawse (...part one)

Characters: Masamune, Shogetsu, with assists from Kojuro, Ieyasu, and additional 'help' from Mitsunari

Prompt: "It's only a flesh wound."

“I’ll take the pointy end, you grab the rest.” Masamune briefly looked away from the snarling beast to check in with his vassal.

The confident statement gave Kojuro the courage to edge closer to the ball of belligerence, only be greeted by a warning hiss. “It’s all pointy.” Though he wasn’t unwilling to help, he would at least like some guarantee that he could perform this task without being flayed.

Acknowledging the truth of that, Masamune slowly circled his previously (until today) friendly tiger, all the while speaking in a calm, coaxing voice. “I know you’re in pain lad, but we’re trying to help you.”

Shogetsu finally recognized his human through the haze of pain and seemed to relax somewhat. Encouraged, Masamune slowly, cautiously, reached out to Shogetsu’s paw, trying to get a look at whatever had caused the tiger to limp into the manor a short while earlier.

Seeing a potential ‘bad touch’ approaching the ‘ouchie,’ Shogetsu swiped out with his other paw and growled again. Masamune backed away. “Kojuro, see if you can find Ieyasu and convince him to come over here.”

“Of course, Lord Masamune.” Kojuro’s respectful bow in no way revealed his inner sigh. It seemed he was not going to be able to escape the pointy bits and a flaying after all...

While waiting for Ieyasu’s arrival, Masamune seated himself closer to Shogetsu and began a quiet monologue, hoping to get through to the beastie. “War wounds are a fact of life, lad. I’m certain that whatever you fought looks far worse than you right now.”

Shogetsu pulled his sore paw closer to lick the injury. As the claws extended and retracted, Masamune spotted a shard of pottery lodged between the pads of his toes. “Ah. Your opponent was one of those vases that Hideyoshi loves so much. I confess, I might have done the same.” He again reached out to comfort his furry companion, but Shogetsu eyed him balefully and let out another warning rumble.

“You’ll be alright, lad. It’s only a flesh wound, but I’ve had enough of those myself to know that though they hurt like the devil, the pain doesn’t last. They’re badges of honor. Once Ieyasu fixes you up, I’m sure you’ll have something to show off to the lady tigers.” Masamune pulled back his sleeve, revealing a map of small scars, knicks and scrapes, acquired over years of war. He pointed to a long gash below his elbow. “Like this one. This scar was inflicted by none other than Nobunaga himself, though it was simply a sparring injury.” He lifted up the edge of his hakima and showed the tiger a newly healing slash along his leg. “As for this one…”

By the time a grumbling Ieyasu was ushered into the room, Masamune’s voice had grown hoarse from recounting the tales behind his battle scars.

“Some of us do have work to do.” Ieyasu set a basket of hastily gathered medical supplies on Masamune’s writing desk. “And Hideyoshi wondered why you missed war council.” He took a step toward Shogetsu. Not recognizing the new face, the tiger’s warning growl filled the room.  Ieyasu scooted out of range. “I can’t help him if he bites my hand off.”

“Kojuro and I will hold him still.” But a tiny note of doubt had crept into Masamune’s voice and Kojuro literally turned pale. After all, it had been their inability to examine Shogetsu that had prompted Ieyasu’s house call to begin with. “It’s his front left paw – there’s a broken piece of porcelain stuck in it.”

Heaving the sigh of a man suffering a thousand daily blows, Ieyasu found a jar of herbs amongst his supplies. “This might make him sleepy – if you have some meat to hide it in.”

While Kojuro escaped in search of fresh meat, Ieyasu set out a jar of ointment and a clean bundle of bandages. Masamune made a move to help, only to receive the glare of death and an Ieyasu-sized growling noise that somewhat resembled the same sounds emanating from Shogetsu. “Do I touch your cooking tools? No. I do not.”

“Fair enough.” Masamune stepped back and quashed an urge to pace. Truthfully, he had been more worried about Shogetsu than he let on. Lately the adolescent cub had been testing his freedom, spending more and more time away from home and exploring the environs around Azuchi. Masamune knew this was the natural order of things and would never have curbed a wild creature’s desire to explore, to run, to chase butterflies (or, well, small birds). But when Shogetsu hadn’t returned the previous evening for his normal meal, he’d become concerned. At this point, he was willing to do whatever he could to help the tiger recover.

Even if that meant backing away and letting Ieyasu be Ieyasu.

Eventually, Kojuro returned with a bowl of fresh boar meat, which Ieyasu sprinkled with herbs.

“How do you know how much to give him?” From Kojuro’s vantage, it had seemed that Ieyasu had just grabbed a random amount and tossed it into the bowl.

“I don’t.”

Shogetsu let out another snarl. Ieyasu looked at the tiger, then back to the bowl of meat and added more herbs. “Nor am I at all certain that this will calm him down. It works on people. It didn’t work on a rabbit. But tigers are neither people nor rabbits.” He shoved the bowl into Masamune’s hands. “This, you may help with.”

Cautiously, Masamune approached Shogetsu and set the bowl in front of him. After a couple hesitant sniffs, the tiger licked at a sliver of meat, before gulping it all down.

“Now, we wait,” Ieyasu said.

…

When Shogetsu finally relaxed enough to allow Masamune to touch him, it was anyone’s guess as to whether it was the herbs or the full belly. But whatever the reason, Masamune was able to gently but firmly hold Shogetsu’s upper body, keeping his teeth and claws away from Ieyasu, while Kojuro was left the duty of keeping a firm grip on the other half (a.k.a ‘the lower pointy bits’ for those with little medical knowledge). Though Shogetsu once again protested this treatment, they kept him immobilized long enough to allow Ieyasu to remove the shard, slather the injury in ointment, and tightly bind the wound. “That will take care of it. The wound looked pretty clean, so he should make a full recovery.”

“Thank you,” Masamune said while Ieyasu checked the security of the bandage. The two simple words didn’t cover gratitude he felt, but he knew Ieyasu would be embarrassed by over-praise. He resolved to cook a few extra-spicey meals for the lad.

“I didn’t do it for you, I did it for the animal.” Ieyasu took a step back. And the another, in case Shogetsu decided to protest the treatment by going after the healer. “Why anyone would keep a dangerous wild animal as a pet is beyond my comprehension.”

“You have a wild animal as a pet.” Masamune kept a calming hand on Shogetsu’s head.

“First of all, Wasabi is not a pet. Emergency food supply. How many times do I have to tell you that?” Ieyasu grimly packed up his supplies. “Nor is she dangerous.” He gave Masamune a look that dared him to argue. “You can let him go now. I want to see if he can walk on it.”

Kojuro and Masamune simultaneously let go and stepped back (technically, Masamune stepped back. Kojuro jumped).

Everyone held their breath, waiting to see whether Shogetsu would get up.

Then, suddenly realizing that he was not only free, but also no longer in pain, Shogetsu sprang up and wildly bound around the room, careening off the walls and knocking things over.

“Hm. That’s the same reaction that the rabbit had when I gave it the herbs.” Ieyasu nimbly ducked out of the way as the tiger ricocheted over him.

“That’s…” Masamune considered a few choice words then settled on, “interesting. How long until it wears off?”

“Could take the rest of the day.” Ieyasu shrugged. “Er, I’d keep him away from other animals. When the initial excitement wore off, the rabbit became somewhat … amorous. Then again, rabbits. It might be different with tigers.”

“Shogetsu.” Masamune tried to get his attention. “You’ve had a long night, and a rough morning. Wouldn’t you like to take a nice nap?”

The tiger ignored him and continued to tear around the room. Even then, this situation might have turned out ok, had it not been for the arrival of a fourth party.

“Lord Masamune, I was told that Lord Ieyasu was here.” Mitsunari’s voice floated from the closed door. “May I come in?”

At that, all three men shouted over the sound of the crazed tiger.

“No!”

“Keep the door shut!”

“Don’t come in!”

“I’m sorry.” Mitsunari slide the door open. “I could not hear what you sa—oops!”

Shogetsu zoomed past him, with Masamune and Kojuro close behind.

“Go on! Catch the tiger.” Ieyasu shooed Mitsunari away.

After a slight moment of hesitation, Mitsunari turned and ran after the others.

Once they had all disappeared, Ieyasu finished packing up his things and headed out in the other direction.

Meanwhile…

Outside Masamune’s castle, Shogetsu stopped briefly to roll in a mud puddle, apparently hoping to get the scent of medicine off him. However, before the three men could catch him, he leaped up again, blew through a pile of dead leaves (most of which stuck to his muddy, wet body) and headed toward the castle town.

None of Shogetsu’s human followers were a match for his speed. All they could do was hurry toward the sound of screams and the swathe of destruction – an overturned palanquin… a torn-up garden… a furious fabric dealer – as the tiger, now resembling some sort of primordial mud monster, ran almost blindly through streets and alleys.

Then suddenly, Masamune and Kojuro hit a dead end. One wall. No tiger. They retreated to the main thoroughfare, looking and listening for the sounds of chaos.

Kojuro tilted his head, then pointed back toward the center of Azuchi. “There’s some sort of commotion coming from there.”

Unfortunately for everyone involved… and for someone soon to be involved… the commotion noted by Kojuro was not, in fact, the tiger, but just the normal amount of feminine attention attracted by Mitsunari’s angelic beauty. The young man was surrounded by a crowd of young women, all insisting that they escort him to tea.

So… where …

Where did the tiger go?

Well, in fact, Shogetsu climbed over three walls, broke the fourth wall, and jumped into the “ask box.”

And so, his story will soon be continued…

As it happens... this particular request fit neatly in with a later request, and so in true chaotic fashion, the story will continue in a later request...

It was kind of a trip writing Ringo minus the peace and love ✌🏻❤️☮️🕊️😌 lmao but honestly, I think it worked out alright! Plus we got a touch of height difference Ringo bc I'm weak lol, and voila!

It's a typical afternoon in the ice cream parlor. You're enjoying a little sundae and a book as you unwind from the week, and a small crowd of men are barking up your tree. There's three today, all making fools of themselves hoping to grab your attention with the same old lines you've heard a thousand times.

You look up, bored and annoyed from all the attention. A little ways away, hunched on a barstool sits a complete stranger. He stirs his milkshake, looking very bored himself, but then, as though he can feel your eyes on him, he looks up and catches your gaze.

Ringo's heart drops.

The first thought to enter his mind is that yours are the loveliest eyes he's ever seen. They're bright and witty and his very soul feels bare before their light. You crinkle your nose in a little smirk as you look from your ensemble to him, then roll your eyes.

Can you believe these guys? They say.

You rest your chin in your hand and look at him whistfuly for a moment. He has a rather funny face compared to those that you're use to getting attention from, yet all the things that make his different give him a certain cuteness and friendly charm too. In fact, you almost wish he'd...

"Hellooo! I said, how about a movie love?"

A pair of hands come crashing down onto your table as one of the boys surrounding you snaps your attention back to the vacinity. His tone is dancing a fine line between aggressive and demanding, and suddenly you feel quite trapped.

Your eyes dart over to the young man at the barstools, a dash of fear hampering their brilliance. Truth be told, you're not sure what you're expecting to happen, but what you do know is that from the look the young man is making, he saw everything.

Ringo doesn't rightly know what's going to happen either, but he's going to do something, that's for certain.

It's a short stomp from his seat to your booth, but it's enough for him to have formulated a plan. He clears his throat loud as he can and makes sure to puff up his chest. He's easily the shortest of the other men, but it doesn't seem to deter him one bit.

"Hey now, what are you blokes doing with my bird?", Ringo shoves back the lad who's resting his knee on your booth seat and then backs up a little himself, giving you an exit route should you choose to bolt.

The ringleader of the boys looks from you, to Ringo, and back again in comical disbelief. He turns to you, "This guy? You can't be serious love, he's a dog!" The other two men howl with laughter, clearly in agreement with their boss.

Ringo's stern face falters to a frown for just a moment, but only you seem to notice.

Well, that simply won't do.

You stand up, shooting daggers, "Well that's a fine thing to say to my man isn't it?" You glance quickly at Ringo and smile, letting him know you're on his side.

Ringo straightens back up and is about to give his two cents, when one of the men bothering you cuts in. "Oh forget him! What a girl like you needs, is a nice looking lad like me...", he trails his fingers up your arms as he leans close to you.

Without even a moment's hesitation, you raise your other hand up with the full intent of slapping him, but Ringo has already jumped to action. "Hey!" He shoves the creep off you and positions himself defensively in front of you, "I said leave her be! Now are you lot going to sod off, or are we going to take this outside?"

Ringo readies his fists, bracing them up front and even jerking forward a second, to show that he means it. His eyes dart between the three men, all larger and very obviously more muscular then him. He gulps, suddenly not very confident in this uncharacteristic act of aggression he's putting on. But... He thinks of you just inches behind him and so he stands his ground, refusing to waver.

The other three look amongst themselves and then burst out into patronising laughter. One even wipes a genuine tear from his eye. Then, as soon as things escalated, it all just... Dissapaites. The three boys leave, not even bothering to give Ringo the time of day, and a trail of laughter follows them out.

Despite the slight ding to his pride, Ringo lets out a huge sigh of relief and scratches his neck. He turns around slowly to face you, moving out of your way once more.

"Sorry 'bout all that, but um... Are you alright miss?" He looks up to your eyes for a moment, then casts his gaze away shyly. You're even more beautiful up close. He didn't think that was possible.

You smile brightly at your little knight. It's nice to have someone else chase off the unwanted attention, especially when things get hairy like that. You couldn't be more fine.

Without a word you step out and give the strange man a hug. You're a mite taller then him, but you blame it on your heels. You pull back but leave your hands behind to hold his shoulders, "Oh yes, fine! Thank you!"

Ringo's mouth hangs agape as he stands and stares back at you. He feels as though he's been blessed by a goddess.

"I- uh... Y-yeah"

You daintily cover your mouth, trying to suppress a giggle. In the meantime, Ringo manages to recover. He dusts off his shirt and straightens the fabric, then his hair.

He clears his throat softly, then introduces himself properly, to which you do the same. Ringo repeats your name back to you, letting it roll of his tounge. He loves the way it feels as he says it.

"Really though, thank you for getting rid of those blokes for me"

"Oh uh, no problem yeah", he chuckles, still a touch nervous.

You can't help but smile. It's so rare to meet a guy who's so genuine with you after all. Hm...

"Say? How'd you like to get out of here?", you grab your book and hold out your delicate hand to him. You look at him warmly, making a little grabby gesture with your extended hand.

Ringo looks from your adorable hand to your radiant face, as though he can't believe you're serious. Without even thinking, he hears himself respond. "S-sure!", He clasps his hand to yours and grins back at you.

"Brilliant! I want to get to know my knight in shining armor after all!", you give his hand an excited squeeze and bounce out the door with him beside you.

"So... Tell me about those rings!"

Ringo has to squint a bit as he looks up to see you in the open light. The sun is casting a halo around your hair, illuminating your face in gold. You're absolutely radiant, he thinks.

He answers all you want to know about him, but all the while he just can't stop thinking about how he can't wait to get to know you.

Majima is the best way to explain yakuza, its very funny one minute, hahaha funny face man does break dancing as a fighting style, and the next moment he is face with the decision to either kill an innocent woman to get back to the world he has been dying to live in again or let her live and live a life of hiding and protecting her from those that set you out to kill here. Majima has so many layers, that are all centred around one core theme, his sworn brother Taiga Saejima or his kyoudai. Majima on his own is amazing but he gets better when he is whole...

Saejima is hands down one of my fav characters in yakuza, his arc throughout the games is just brilliant but i especially like his first game, at first you think he is a cold no nonsense killer convicted for killing 18 people making him a legend in the yakuza world (and they say yakuza is a silly game ahaha... they dont know shit) many years after the events of yakuza 0 Saejima breaks out with his new friend Hamazaki (who i may write a blog post later) once he is out Hamazaki is shot and we presume he is dead. now Saejima is on the run to look for his kyoudai for answers, he may have to kill majima or maybe he doesnt...

AAAAAA man Makoto is so interesting, a blind woman who falls for a Yakuza, a yakuza she doesnt know the name of. he is this mysterious protector figure who always looks out for here and the people around her to the best of his ability. to her she is not the yakuza with the tattoo on his back, instead he is him, simply a man she loves, she knows that he is a man that is there to protect her from something, something bigger than the both of them, a yakuza war over a bit of land... land that is owned by none other than Makimura Makoto.

Jumping back to Majima for a moment, his chemistry with Makoto (the woman he is meant to kill) is brilliant, at first i thought it was a protective fatherly thing, but slowly it became obvious it was a... ahem thing... yeah slowly he is falling in love while this woman has never seen his face or heard his name bc she was traumatised to the point of mental blindless. as they fall in love it becomes clearer and clearer that the lives they must live are very different. bc of the this and the fact that Makoto gets shot by the Tojo Clan for (yakuza 0 plot reasons) Majima goes fucking insane, instead of this calm and collected character we met in The Grand we get this fucking love sick man (heh reminded me of BlackPink but i digress) who just wants to avenge the only one who he truly loved (sorta yakuza 5)... and this is the birth of The Mad Dog of Shimano. man the scenes leading up to his break made me so angry i was fully for Majima going mad dog on the cunts, it felt so good beating the shit out of some of them in the finale and it felt bittersweet for some... man Awano, but thats a talk for another day.

Jumping back to Saejima, after breaking out he washes ashore of a small island nation by the name of Okinawa, fans of the series know this place as the home of Kiryu and his orphanage. soon someone stumbles upon Saejima and takes him in, the person is of course Haruka Sawamura (the daughter of Kiryu). Saejima regains his consciousness and chats for a bit with Haruka, but then ummm... yeah ummm... i dont really want to type out what happened next, so lets just say that Saejima hasnt seen a woman in a long time (jesus i hate this scene and i am not defending it i am just trying to put it as nicely as possible). soon, in comes Kiryu who very quickly sees what happened and and realises who Saejima is, bc who wouldnt, but as they get to talking Saejima makes up a fake name and Kiryu goes along with it. blah blah storyy Majima sadness

AAAAAAAANND they fight. Kiryu fights in yakuza games (where you fight against him) always put the fear of a thousand suns inside you, they are so good at making you be like "OH SHIT i know that move" and then "Oh god i dont know that move what the fuck Kiryu a fucking beast" the fight ends and Saejima "wins" bc before he can finish Kiryu off Haruka comes in and has to be the voice of logic and reason, all things that sissies worry about, and she stops the fight...

now skipping way way way ahead to going to meet Majima you go to see him fight his lackies and then he comes down from the stairs, and for a man that rarely ever emotes you can see how happy Saejima is even through his tough face. Majima and Saejima walk to the batting cages for their fight, they talk about why Saejima is there and what is going to happen, its clear Majima isnt gonna go down without kicking, bc in his mind it would be disrespectful to Saejima if he didnt give him a show, in any case, it could be Majima's last.

its so amazing doing this fight, bc its been built up since fucking yakuza 0 and when you do it you are just like "YEAAHHHH HIT HIM HARDER WOOOOOO" and when its over you are brought back to the earth and you have to think, at what cost? this reuniting scene is one of the best, its so sad and so exciting, all you can think leading up to it is how it went for Kiryu and Nishikiyama, its just very well done.

The 2 chat for a bit and Saejima asks about the eyepatch Majima explains why he didnt show when they where supposed to do the hit, the very same hit that landed Saejima in jail. the reason being he was taken hostage by one of the family heads, and he explains that bc he gave them such hell the only way to shut him up was to take one of his eyes, Saejima laughs, now its clear, the kyoudais are back together and stronger than ever.

it is very very clear to me that Saejima and Majima are 2 parts of a greater whole, there is no Majima without Saejima and there is not Saejima without Majima. its beautiful how the insanity of Majima and the stoicism of Saejima mix so well, i think its beautifully shown in the Yakuza LaD scene when they do their attack, that gif is just brilliant at showing how they compliment each other haha. (sorry couldnt find the gif)

Majima and Saejima show us some people are worth it and even if they are worth it, sometimes the best call is to let them go, i of course have to finish what i started. awhile after Majima takes out the Tojo Clan, he goes on a walk, finally free from everything... and he sees her, there she is happy and she looks him dead in the eye (NO THE PUNS TODAY AAAAAAA) and doesnt see him for the protector she once did when she was blind, now seeing him as a flashy yakuza with a tattoo on his back, Majima doesnt speak knowing she would recognise the voice. soon, a man who looks like her boyfriend comes and says "Hey is this man worrying you" and in one swift move Majima takes him and talk to him heart to heart, asking "do you love her" and "will you look after her", the boyfriend is very confused and a bit scared, after all a yakuza with one eye is grabbing him talking in a very scary tone. the man answers yes and Majima walks away into the crowd, Makoto trails him with her eyes until there is nothing to see and she goes on with her life....

yeah sometimes when you love someone so much, the only okay thing to do is to let them go bc you know you would only bring them more pain if you stayed together... in a way, it would be selfish, robbing them of a normal life. this is exactly how Majima at this point sees it, and i respect him for it, maybe in the future they will meet again, and maybe just MAYBE, they will finally get proper closure that they deserve, but until then i will say goodbye and thanks for taking time out of your life to read my stupid little essay

I love how like, its clear both of them are absolutely anxious and worried about others opinions on them, which is clearly something they got from being Firestar's grandkids, deputy kids and leader kids. And bramblestar too, I recall him being quite the anxious lad ahhah. Sparkpaw will be showing confidence and being loud but the second anyone isn't approving of her or she does something "wrong" she gets small and quiet, and she ended up setting a high bar for herself by being good at hunting and fighting so I'm curious to see how that will go. Also there's nothing wrong with being guided through a crowded place to meet others Sparkpaw!!! I bet the two of them would be stuck without not knowing how to talk to others had Needlepaw not shown up. I love them, my gf is mocking me saying I'm a Sparkpaw kinnie.

Apprentices will like learn about a thing and tell everyone about it all the time and assume its always true in every situation and thats valid I love kids like that. Also in my head Needlepaw kinda looks like a porcupine. Oh boo she's fatphobic >:(

Overall! Frigging loved it this book was GOOD and a great start for the series I am very excited to read the rest, SO WORRIED ABOUT SKYCLAN THO AAAA the characterizations were great the characters were great the pacing was fun and I didn't get bored once!

I think o only wish I had read this sooner really so I could look up others thoughts without getting heavily spoiled about the last books, I can watch a few videos already though thats a start ahhaha. But yeah it was great and it felt very good to read, haven't swallowed up a book so quickly in a very long time!!! Very happy I finally got my hands on this 💕💖💕💖💕💖 cant wait 2 start the next one
