Meanwhile, the character with higher (any) Wisdom would walk up to the door... and then try to open it like a normal person.

Intelligence is ability to use your mind, and Wisdom is what tells you how you should use your mind, and when you look at Nezu, you only really see Intelligence, and then no one in story ever seems to question his decisions, really, because he's really smart, but there's a real question if he uses his intelligence well? Because there are a lot of 'I can do this, but no one, including me, ever asked if I should do this' kinds of choices in UA, and if we're not just blaming it on bad writing, all of that comes down to Nezu, in the end. The literal cities they just... have? The robots that probably have killed people? The Sports Festival? All of those are thing with very questionable elements that UA does anyways, seemingly because they can and no one's ever stopped them from doing it.

That's looking at the question from the angle of 'Nezu, while well meaning, made a bad call'. There is, however, one other major option, and it starts with this: why does Nezu run a school? On a fundamental level, I'm not sure Nezu's goal in running UA is for the students, so much as he views the students as a step towards his goal.

Unironically, he's a sadist who enjoys low-key torturing human beings because of past trauma, which... before anything else, begs a question: is it just low-key torture he likes? Or is he just practical enough to realize than anything more would be more trouble than it's worth?

But, beyond that problem, let's look at his position: he's the head of UA, the biggest, bestest school for Heroes, which is a job that comes with a lot of publicity/power, which, inevitably, rolls back to him. His job allows him massive amounts of control over the development of the cutting edge of heroism, who by dint of their fame and success influence other heroes, all of which collectively influences Japanese society as a whole by a pretty significant degree.

Meanwhile, Nezu is: brilliant, deeply traumatized, likes torturing, and through that defacto controlling, humans. He's also not a human, and takes pains at times to point out that others are humans and he's not, while also having assumably inhuman instincts and priorities; almost certainly he has some level of anti-human bias.

There's... there's an obvious correlation here. Fundamentally, Nezu is a character who seems to be made to be complicated, imperfect, with dark depths to him. The way he's written, Hori clearly doesn't want him to be, but, well, he writes a lot of deeply flawed characters we're supposed to find no wrong with.

If you look at Nezu that way, where he views students more as an asset, or an investment, than as, well, students, or as people, then your point takes on a different light. Looking at it with cold logic, the students can contribute to the various conflicts; even if they die, for the greater good of society (which he lives in and benifits from), heroism as a career (which he is in a position to benefit from greatly, as well as influenced greatly), and quite frankly as a living being on Japan/Earth, that cost is more than worth the price if they help support the status quo; its not like there's not going to be more next year, right?

And that's the thing that really interests me; what the hell was Hori thinking when he made Nezu? With Bakugou and Endeavour, for example, you can see where they started off one way, and went another? Nezu though? His entire point as a character seems to be firmly as the 'nice but somewhat manipulative' principal, but it's a waste of his fundamental characteristics. Did he have a different role in the prototype? Because if I was writing Nezu as a character, here's what I'd write him as:

An enemy. Not evil, not a villain, but a obstacle for Izuku to surpass in UA; it's not that he's bigoted, like Aizawa is (or at least to the same extent), he just well and truly doesn't care about people and what they do as long as his bottom line is met. And Izuku isn't there to be a new hero, like Bakugou, about fame and wealth, he doesn't fit. Worse yet, if we're working off of the original, 'Quirkless Hero' framework? Fundamentally, he is a threat to the concept of heroes that is established, that makes people want to think outside the box, and the thing is? Nezu likes the box. He's one of the people who designed it; he'd like everyone to stay in the box, please and thank you.

There's this epic story we're never going to get of Izuku being a little revolutionary, fighting against the heroic establishment to change heroism for the better and for the rights of the Quirkless, and his first major enemies are: Bakugou, the bully, Aizawa, the biased teacher who enables Bakugou and attacks Izuku, and Nezu, who enables all of them, and barely gives a shit about Izuku at all but would absolutely murder him in a heartbeat if he thought he could get away with it, but is resigned to fact he can't just kill people because they mildly irk him.

To your last point, though, fundamentally MHA is exactly a dystopia, by design; it's dystopian nature is one of the main causes for almost all conflicts in the story, from the villains, to the heroes, to Izuku's core personality traits, but for some reason Hori got really scared to admit that so he covered all the bars and locks with confetti... only after he got all the ways he purposefully made it a dystopia looking all harmless and fun, he missed all the ways he accidently made it a dystopia. To this day, I'm still not sure if he designed the heroic pay system, what little of it we know, to be purposefully that fucked up, or he just did some basic work to support what happens in the story and missed how deeply disturbing those implications were.

At this moment I heard the rolling waves and I understand I'm on a ship.

Where I am? How many time has passed since my kidnap? I must return to the Oda right now! A lot of hours passed since I left Azuchi castle: I told to Hideyoshi I'd come back after lunch, so probably they have already noticed my absence.

I try open the door but, obviously, is locked and I look around to find something to force the look, but the room is empty, except the chain on the wall. Then I took a clip from my hair and, holding it tight in the hand, I pray:"At human memory this trick never worked, but, please, if there's even the littlest chance, make it happens". Great, now I pray to objects like they were gods!

I plug the clasp in the door lock but, as I expected, it doesn't work. Pushed by despair, I retry again and again, but after a large number of failed attempts and swears, finally I give up and I lean my back on the wall. But the pirate in front of me is still vigil even if he's more relaxed, surely is ready to catch me and even I'd beat him he'll give the alarm. It's almost evening and Hideyoshi is worried: y/n told him this morning she'd have gone in the city until lunchtime, but she didn't come back. He asked around but nobody was able to tell him where y/n was. He alerted Nobunaga who decided to hold a war council to find her. Hideyoshi expresses all of his worry and Mitsunari takes word with a stern look on his face:"I'm quite worried as well, Lord Hideyoshi. We should look after her". 

"Maybe she escaped after she went to war, after all, was her first time on a battlefield. I won't be surprised" Mitsuhide suggests with his cunning tone, but a more careful eye can see a glimpse of worry. In the past days, he went to some places with a very horrible reputation and in a red light district and he noticed a lot of Portuguese men who acted too much secretive for being simply merchant. They were really cautious: they gazed around before speaking with someone and once Mitsuhide risked revealing his true identity. Just today he succeeded to talk with a man after days of failures, but what he discovered was suspicious arms traffic. He didn't discover anything about y/n's missing. And the possibilities she's been kidnapped are not low. "My lucky charm is not a coward, Mitsuhide: she proved it during the war"       

Nobunaga scolds him, "Then I suppose we should look after her" snorts Ieyasu. "As if you hadn't done it before, before" teases Mitsuhide: Ieyasu's contrarian reactions are always a delight for him.

"Lord Ieyasu is always so kind" Mitsunari praises him. Ieyasu scolds him:"I told you I wasn't searchi-", "Enough! Each of you will send your own scouts in the city to collect information" Nobunaga stops the discussion. Once the council ends, all the warlord obey to Nobunaga orders, sending men in the city and its surroundings with the order to search for y/n and arrest everyone look suspicious. But as time passes, nobody finds y/n.

You were tired, sore, and filthy by the time you got back to the motel. You, Sam and Dean had been on the case for about a week, tracking a group of vampires that had been feeding on a small town in Nebraska, finally cornering them at their nest. Taking them out had been a challenge but nothing the three of you couldn't handle, although you could have done without Dean decapitating the last one with a swing that sent blood and gore arcing along the blade of his machete and splattering all over you.

Gross.

Needless to say, you decided to pass on the boys' suggestion to go out and celebrate another case closed and another monster wiped off the slate. They might prefer to wind down with a drink and an occasional hookup, but you? A hot shower and some alone time took the cake. Even better, you'd managed to get your own room this time instead of the three of you sharing.

Dropping your bag inside the door and fastening the chain and bolt, you immediately kicked off your boots and tossed your jacket onto the bed, making your way to the bathroom and stripping out of your bloody clothes as you went. You spent enough time in the shower to get clean three times over, letting the hot water melt away the knots in your sore muscles and taking the time to relax. There wasn't anything comfortable about the life of a hunter, but you had made it clear long ago that bathing was "you time." Sam and Dean respected it thus far...they knew better than to argue with you.

The tiny bathroom was so full of steam by the time you turned off the water that you almost couldn't see the outline of the door. You wrapped one of the towels around your body and the other around your hair (it was sadistic, the way the people running these places expected guests to use their tiny, tiny towels) and left the bathroom, shivering slightly as the cooler air in the main room hit you.

You toweled off your hair as you dug through your bag for your pajamas, a baggy t-shirt and flannel shorts. Worn and faded, but comfy, and perfect for relaxing. You put them on and got into bed, planning on watching some cable before falling asleep. After channel surfing for a few minutes, though, you decided you weren't in the mood for TV, and your mind went to what was stashed in your bag under your clothes, where the boys weren't likely to find it.

You got out of bed and fetched the vibrator out of your bag before sliding back under the blankets. If alone time was your preferred way to unwind, then "alone time" was your favorite. You shimmied out of your shorts and turned on the vibrator, closing your eyes and letting the sensations start to build. Higher...higher...nearly there...nearly there...

"So, any luck with that nest, or--"

You shrieked with fright and frustration, sitting bolt upright and dropping the toy. "Crowley!"

The demon stood at the foot of the bed, having teleported into your room and completely unaware what you might be up to. He took one look at you, under the blankets and looking mortified, and he put two and two together. "Well," he said casually, "this is awkward."

"What the hell!" you burst out, making no effort to get out from under the covers. "What are you doing here?"

"Just checking in, making sure that you, Moose, and Squirrel aren't a three-course meal for a nest of vampires," he replied, looking entirely too unconcerned with the situation and nowhere as uncomfortable as you felt. "Looks like I came at a bad time. Well, maybe I didn't, but--"

"Get the hell out of here!"

There was a crash as the door to your room came flying open, the chain and the deadbolt ripped out at the screws, and Sam and Dean rushed in, guns and machetes in hand. "Are you okay?" Dean asked, searching the room for a threat. "We heard you outside and--" He froze, seeing Crowley standing nearby. "Dude, what the hell? What are you doing here?"

He spread his hands in a good play of innocence. "Can't I pop in to say hello to friends?" he asked. "Don't you trust me?"

"No," Sam and Dean answered together.

"Wait," Sam added, listening. "Do you hear that?"

The room went quiet and you felt your face heat as the low, steady buzzing of the still-running vibrator, fallen to the floor, sounded clearly in the silence.

The confusion slid off the brothers' faces like butter over a hot skillet, replaced with embarrassment and, in Dean's case, a little amusement. "Is that...what I think it is?" Sam asked delicately.

"Oh my God..." you groaned, leaning over the side of the bed and reaching for the toy, wanting to crawl under the bed and hide for eternity.

"Honestly, boys, have you no sense of decorum?" Crowley asked. "Barging into a lady's room unannounced? You should be ashamed of yourselves."

"Are you serious?" you demanded, sitting back up to stare at him. "And since when is your 'popping in' ever not unannounced?"

"Oh, sure, it's cute when the angel does it, but any other time it's--"

"Just go away, for the love of God!"

"Fine, fine, I'll come back later...and by the by, darling, if you ever need company, I'm more than happy to assist you, no strings attached--"

"GET OUT!" you and the boys shouted.

Crowley shrugged and vanished.

Avoiding anyone's eye, you reached back to the floor and picked up the vibrator, switching it off and tucking it out of sight under the blankets. "So, um..." you said, looking anywhere but at the two men, "I'm gonna...I'm gonna get dressed, go out and find myself a big enough bottle of booze to drown myself in, and we're never speaking of this again. Cool?"

"Cool," Sam agreed.

Dean nodded. "Sure thing. But..." Damn him, you could hear the stupid grin in his voice, "don't you think you should pick up some extra batteries while you're out, just in case?"

You threw a pillow at his head. So much for relaxing...

Nevra:

There’s not much to be said here. Nevra’s teeth are pretty basic, except that his Canines, premolar and molare teeth are a lit bit longer and more pointy than most peoples teeth. One can also imagine, that since he’s a vampire his teeth could be a bit more robust than those of humans already are, cuz’ they need their canine to survive right?

Valkyon

Valkyon doesn’t have “the best teeth” (out of the main cast). His front teeth are a bit out of place due to the fact that they are a little bit too big for his ridge. They have a round, compact form.

Ezarel

Ezarel probably had the best teeth a person could have. YES! “HAD”! Because we all know, that at least one time there was someone who was so sick of his sh*t that he punched him right into the face. (I might be a bit sadistic here ...) And fractured one of his canine so bad that it had to be taken out and be replaed with a prosthesis >:) But other than that they are perfect. Perfect colour, perfect positions, perfect tooth to 2 teeth relationship...

It's Halloween time, and since plastic skeletons and (hopefully) fake graves are in every front yard, I can't stop thinking about cultural differences and similarities.

In Russia (in the Soviet Union, to be more accurate), there was a very rich childlore - children's folklore. The two most popular genres of the Soviet childlore were страшилки (spooky stories) and садитсткие стишки (sadistic verses), and both genres would fit Halloween!

Страшилки are the spooky stories about something irrational and evil intervening a normal life. For example, The Black Hand that is seeking its victims, or The Black Lady. A protagonist gets a lot of bad omens while the evil thing is getting closer and closer to its victim, but ignores them and eventually dies. The distinctive feature of the spooky stories is multiple repetitions of the omens - they are almost like chants. I first learned страшилки when I was in the pioneer (scout) camp - kids loved to tell страшилки to each other at night.

Садитские стишки (sadistic verses) are short poems, usually 4 lines, dactyl, where something overly cruel is narrated with the intentionally trivial, absurd wording and intonations. Wikipedia suggests that садистские стишки were the true folklore reaction to the Soviet heroic esthetics. Probably, this is true.

Day Three 2017: Timeskip 5 years

About Surgeries and Love Hotels

The first time Kagura saw Okita after five years she kicked him in the crotch.

It wasn’t her fault, honestly. He did have the ingenious idea of dashing toward her like a madman and from behind, at that. Inevitably her instinct took over and swiftly sent him and his golden balls to Hell, or rather in an intense hold-my-dick seance on the streets of Edo. It was a very memorable.

Twenty-minutes later, Okita finally ended his pitiful scene and decided to invite Kagura to a tea shop, after all the two of them had missed five years together and a lot happened. She had gone to space, becoming a famous Alien Hunter- famous for beauty and strength alike while he stayed as the first division captain of the Shinsengumi with the extra of having long, flowing Kenshin-like hair.

(But Kagura rather disliked them: why did he, a lowly man, have nicer hair than her? Unforgivable.)

Five minutes and they arrived at a famous tea shop in the market street of Edo, of course Okita had to pay for the dangos and tea and it was one of these days he reminded himself how his job was nice, Hijikata-san or not.

“You look like a girl.” Kagura slipped a whole skewer down her throat while staring blankly at him.

“Wow, you almost looked erotic if you weren’t a female gorilla.”

“Female gorilla?! Let me tell you, I’ve been classed as the most beautiful alien hunter, I even did magazine covers!” Kagura proudly crossed her arms, “And  a shit-ton men want me.”

“Even with your dirty mouth? Wow, they really must be desperate like Glasses.”

“As if you didn’t stare at B1 and B2 when I came, and A1. And A2.”

“What are these?”

Kagura shamelessly caressed her chest and lower back with a grin, leading some male customers to drool and females to mutter about her indecency. As for Okita he kept his expressionless face as ever, even feigned to be bored.

“These must be fake.”

Flat rejection.

“It’s impossible for you who was flatter than Boss Lady, to have these. Even by getting pregnant Kondo-san said she was still an A-cup,” Okita sighed and sipped his tea. “Besides surgeries are popular nowadays, Danna had raised you: you must have gotten these to win more money.”

“You really think lowly of me, don’t you?” Kagura frowned. How did the man dare to even call her a fake when this nice body had been given to her by her mother? Training, chasing and kicking Aliens’ arses helped in toning her body too, and she had to thank her job for the wonderful flat iron stomach she had.

“Women are sows.”

“Men are scum.”

Flash of red and blue eyes.

“Women uses makeup to mislead innocent men.”

“Only because men don’t look beyond appearance.”

“Because women are scary inside.”

“If we weren’t scary humanity would disappear, men are useless.”

“Fake girl.”

“Fake girl, you too.”

“These can’t be real,” Okita violently crashed his glass on the table. “You were flat! Flatter than the landing strip! Flatter than Boss’ wallet! Flatter than the brains of people who think Earth is flat!”

“THAT’S TOO MUCH FLAT! THE ONLY THING FLAT HERE IS YOUR DICK!”

“So you know, Little Sougo is a very much grown boy, thank you.”

“Yes, yes, Gin-chan said the one who speaks the most are the ones who are the least well-endowed.”

“My magnum is bigger than your brain, idiot.”

“Did you just change the surname? Because it doesn’t work.”

“I don’t know what you mean, my Bazooka is a fine weapon.” At this point, all customers already left the store, weirded out by two grown adults still obsessed by their size. Some stayed; entertained by the conversation and perhaps the liveliness of it.

“Hah.” Kagura shook her head, “Cherry boys are the most desperate.”

“Me? A Cherry boy? You wanna see?” Okita got up.

“Let’s go, I’ll show whether I’m fake or not! Kagura-sama is 100% real beauty!”  Kagura also had gotten up, angrily grabbing the man’s wrist.

“I’ll be the one laughing at the end, made-in-China girl.”

“No, I’ll be the one laughing at your micro-penis. Let’s go to a love hotel. NOW!”

“Wow, feisty much, China? But fine. I’ll show you my sword techniques.” The innuendo, of course, was probably as bad as their kid-like mentality whenever ‘Sadist’ and ‘China’ matched.

“My legs (kicks) are much better!”

“You missed the point.” Okita sighed, before grinning at her, “You didn’t change.”

“You either, Sadist.”

It was the first time the duo honestly talked until now.

“Welcome home.”

“I’m back, idiot.”

They happily made their way to a love hotel, broad daylight and shame to be damned, they were two healthy lovers that had missed a lot together and there were also a lot to catch up.

In love hotels, that’s it.

My Opinion on;

Character in general: Ummmm I’d have to choose Dark for this one because come on, you know this is one of the most influential characters of my dark career. What can I say about him? The better question would be what can’t say I about that ridiculous, arrogant, rude, pridefully stubborn man? He is most likely the bane of Clara’s existence and always will be -- inescapable basically is the conclusion I’d draw. Well at least until Clara manages to die because of him and his crazy decisions. But all in all, this character is absolutely amazing and just addictive, the source of my evil intentions and the place where Clara goes to unleash every horrible aspect and idea she’s ever dreamed or thought of in the past, present, or future. They are two halves of a destructive, chaotic whole hybrid and they make the most of it, I adore Emi for this so much and for giving me a place to put all of the broken, tortured, insufferable pieces that I have. You deal with it all and you’re great for it okay?How they play them: THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR THIS LIKE I SAID DARK IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND I ADORE HIS SADISTIC AMAZING WAYS LIKE BEFORE HONEY YOU ARE INSANELY ANNOYING AND CLARA HATES AND LOVES YOU AT THE EXACT SAME TIME BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE ELSE COULD DEAL WITH HOW TWISTED AND ROTTEN SHE HAS BECOME. Overall Opinion: I THINK I HAVE SAID A LOT IN TERMS OF ANSWERING THIS PART OF THIS POST BUT IN ALL HONESTY I ADORE YOU AND YOUR CHARACTERS SO MUCH, THROUGH ALL THE TIMES. THINGS HAVE COME AND GONE BUT YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THERE, EVEN FROM THE BEGINNING OF ONE OF MY MORE USED BLOGS. I MEAN IT STARTED FOR YOU. A1:  What of the Meyers-Briggs personality types they most fit into? INFP, ENFT, et cetera…

Jace: ISTP. Tolerant and flexible, quiet observers until a problem appears, then act quickly to find workable solutions. Analyze what makes things work and readily get through large amounts of data to isolate the core of practical problems. Interested in cause and effect, organize facts using logical principles, value efficiency. 

Leslie: ENFJ. Warm, empathetic, responsive, and responsible. Highly attuned to the emotions, needs, and motivations of others. Find potential in everyone, want to help others fulfill their potential. May act as catalysts for individual and group growth. Loyal, responsive to praise and criticism.

Asbel: INTJ. Have original minds and great drive for implementing their ideas and achieving their goals. Quickly see patterns in external events and develop long-range explanatory perspectives. When committed, organize a job and carry it through. Skeptical and independent, have high standards of competence and performance - for themselves and others. 

Derrick: INFP. Idealistic, loyal to their values and to people who are important to them. Want an external life that is congruent with their values. L1: How have your characters changed since you created them?

They all changed… a lot. Like, especially when it comes to their development, they’ve all grown so much since their first creation.

Jace: Would it make sense to say I made him more terrified and brave at certain points? Originally he was mildly afraid and more of a typical nerd but then developed to be more timid and with a character arc to turn his fears around. That and giving him more of a background + inferiority complex to explain more about his personality, and being a cinnamon roll.~

Leslie: Honestly Leslie was all over the place in the very beginning. Before I thought of Asbel, she had more of Asbel’s traits: quiet, observant, more involvement with Derrick’s sanity. But that made it too many characters more on the introverted side so I swapped her with a spunky, no-can-do attitude that makes her very lovable. Someone needed to be the literal fire of the group, after all :D

Asbel: Taking original Leslie’s personality and being a huge inspiration of a certain thief.~ Originally, Asbel was more of a daredevil and sadistic with his ways, being a master assassin on top of his thievery. But it wouldn’t compliment his relationship with Derrick, so I toned down the sadism into something he would have a keen interest in his past, and the daredevil part more of him enjoying the adrenaline in his assassinations. I actually made him a lot ‘nicer’ compared to his concept design lmao. His love for his knives and having sticky fingers for his thievery still remained.~

Derrick: Oh Naphi. See, Derrick was the generic swordsman with a curse going on a big journey to find answers and get caught up in a lot of shit with his massacres. But, with how grand Dark Hunger will be, Derrick didn’t feel like a complex enough character, so I made him more emotional. Derrick is… a clusterfuck of internal problems and conflict but all of which that can be resolved. To briefly put it, he developed into having the whole series as his character arc, and having so much potential.

L9:  How did you come up with your OC?

Leslie: I love fire and fire mages was a definite plus so Leslie had to be created as one of the first characters after Derrick. Being one of Derrick’s childhood friends and becoming more involved with the plot later down the line, she was meant to help with his potential too. :D

Jace: Water had to follow fire, eh? I wanted a scholar-y type character and someone who was book-smart for certain plot points. Also him having a crush on Leslie still stuck, and while he doesn’t get as much spotlight as the other characters, he aids with his gentle side and compassion—a listening ear if he’s not afraid to face the truth. Like I’d say, a cinnamon roll of the squad. c:

Asbel: Ooohoh. Basically favorite Fire Emblem characters + favorite aesthetics = this hot stud. Also part of his original plan, I had no intention of giving Asbel a huge role in the story—only as a guide and filler character to get through part of the plot. But then I thought about him and Derrick having a special chemistry and… stuck with it. Now he’s one of the best bros and a new take on thief characters with his development. :D

Derrick: A huge inspiration from Ocarina of Time and Berserk really started Dark Hunger and hence, Derrick’s character. I wanted a swordsman with a black sword hiding a curse, one that beckons his sword hand with bloodlust, and seeing his alter ego through reflections—be it mirrors or streams. The main antagonist was meant to be Derrick, or rather his curse aka his alter ego aka Nakra. Much of that still stuck and tbh I’m kinda happy that most of his original plans were able to fit in the plot. Derrick was meant to be in a world full of troubles and with a tainted sword, a troubled soul in one of my biggest projects.
