We have become accustomed to the ‘two-tier policing’ of protests, where ‘pro-Palestine’ demos are exempted from Britain’s usually stringent hate-speech laws. Islamist and anti-Semitic protesters have been free to call for a violent ‘jihad’, to demand the genocidal destruction of Israel and to wave banners with swastikas, without any fear of being clamped down on by police. Now we might be seeing the emergence of ‘two-tier healthcare’, where opposition to Israel can get you bumped up to the front of an NHS waiting list.
Tumblr media
Jess Phillips, Labour MP and Keir Starmer’s safeguarding minister, last night told an audience of north London theatregoers about a recent visit to A&E. After having difficulty breathing, she went to her local Birmingham hospital. She described the overcrowding she found there as akin to a ‘war zone’. Luckily for her, she was whisked to the front of the queue.
Apparently, a Palestinian doctor not only recognised Phillips as the local Labour MP, but also thanked her for opposition to Israel. ‘He was sort of like, “I like you. You voted for a ceasefire”. [Because of that] I got through quicker’, she admitted. Her political views, in other words, allowed her to receive preferential treatment.
I don’t know what’s more damning: that this took place or that Phillips gladly blabbed about it. Following her downplaying of Islamist thugs menacing journalists in her constituency, the Member for Birmingham Yardley already looks set to be a constant source of unwitting revelations for the media, and a constant PR headache for this already faltering Labour government.

When I watched Razor Ramon/Scott Hall's "WWE Legends" episode, there were home movies of him with his children that I had wanted to make gifs of and post on Father's Day.
However, I couldn't find his entire "WWE Legends" episode on Youtube, Dailymotion or Facebook, but maybe that's a good thing considering the patterns I post in on holidays.

Since you finally watched Scott Hall's Biography episode what are your thoughts/feelings?
Tumblr media
I really think this graphic sums it up, but....
I was an emotional mess at many moments. I can empathize with the issues that Scott had with his father, and in turn, Cassidy's interviews are what tore me up the most.
None of the big points were new info to me, but they are still so emotionally impactful.
It made me nostalgic for the times in his life when he was happy. He made so many of us happy with his presence for so many years, I just wish we could have returned it to him somehow to give him some peace.
Dallas Page is one of the best human beings to ever have existed. He gave Scott the opportunity for some better years that he wouldn't have had on his own. He deserves every positive accolade.
I am heartbroken about how mental healthcare has only been more recently widely accepted. If someone had recognized his ptsd symptoms earlier and he'd had interventional care earlier, who knows how different the quality of his life could have been.
As always, I enjoyed hearing him speak, seeing the way his face lit up or emoted during stories and the way his little pony tail would flick around when he turned his head.
My heart broke for his buddies all breaking at the end. Just overwhelming emotional moments. Kid, Page, Kev... just everyone 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
I did feel somewhat prepared to watch and i really appreciate every one who reached out to check on me or offer supportive words. This community makes me feel so accepted.

Another trip to A&E for me. I’m so scared of hospitals. Seven hours of waiting. So scared, so scared, so scared.
