I find it sweet that Eclipse got so scared for Jake's safety that, without even questioning, he just released them, until he realized it was the Mimic.

And the Mimic just casually tauting Eclipse about how they're 'better' than him, because he's acting 'nicer'.

I find it great that the others were already suspicious of why he was acting so strange. They need to find out as soon as possible!

I have the impression that Andrew saw what happend to Eclipse and he's gonna try to warn the others.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

I've currently got 25 works on there.

2. What’s your total word count?

161, 391! which...wow, that number hits me every time I look at it. I can’t believe I’ve written a whole novel’s length of fanfic this year.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Mostly Hatchetfield and Deltarune, but especially Hatchetfield. The silly little horror-comedy musicals (especially the LiB and Paul) have grabbed me and won’t let go. To the detriment of my WIPs in other fandoms. Oh, and I’ve also written a decent amount of fic for Spiderverse and Dracula! (Our good friend Jonathan Harker, after all.)

4. Top 5 fics by kudos

pas de masque - a pre-canon Spiderverse fic focusing on Gwen's terrible experiences in the Spider-Society, and just what it's like to learn you're doomed in every other universe, and that no one will let you stop it.

The Show Must Go On - a fun little theatre AU for Deltarune, where Susie's been arrested, and the only way for her to not be arrested is to join a club. She chooses theatre, which Noelle is coincidentally the director of. Romance, friendship, and theatre chaos ensues. (also, I LOVE writing Kris in this fic.) It's the fic I've been working on the longest.

what is a god? - my exploration of the Lords in Black, and how they think and treat Hatchetfield and their puppets, written at 12 am after finishing Nerdy Prudes Must Die. Despite that, I’m still pretty proud of it!

used to think about you (everywhere i go) - a post-canon Nimona (movie-verse) fic, in which Nimona gets to work out her complex feelings about Gloreth by standing at her grave. Sometimes therapy is yelling at your ex-bestie's grave, more at 11.

one hell of a normal abnormality - a fic where I wrote Pete actually seeming to care that Ruth and Richie weren't there at Homecoming, with a decent exploration of grief and feeling guilty. Also, I think I was the first one to use the green-hair-after-being-touched-by-Wiggly headcanon.

5. Do you respond to comments?

Yes, of course! I love comments - you read my whole chapter/fic, and you liked it enough to post your reaction! Amazing, I love you, I would literally die for some commentors.

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Oh, this is hard. Most of the fic I write is angst, so tough to pick. I'd say the real competition is between life underground (it's over now) and always be my favourite ghost. But if I had to choose, it would be the first one, because that ends with Chara literally ripping up their adoption certificate, and thinking they’ll never be a part of the Dreemurr family. And we all know what happens next. :(

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Oh, this one’s pretty easy. like real people do. It’s a short, canon divergent one shot I wrote for a podcast, Monstrous Agonies that I was super into - even submitted a couple of letters to the podcast I was pretty proud of. It ends with the characters sort-of rekindling their relationship, after accidentally broadcasting them kissing through the radio. It actually managed to predict a decent amount of the actual finale, too!

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Thankfully, I haven't gotten any yet. Hoping that that streak continues.

9. Do you write smut?

Ha! No. And it's probably not going to happen for a long time, if ever. I'm apparently a bit of a nerdy prude myself. I have written at least one fic that's only plot was two characters kissing, though.

10. Do you write crossovers?

I haven’t yet! Maybe someday.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Also, no. Benefits of being a smaller fic writer, I guess.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope! But if that ever happens to me, I'm gonna scream

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Not yet! I was thinking of co-writing a Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes fic with a friend in real life, though. It was a really good movie, but I haven't made a lot of progress on it.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

You know, I'm really not sure? I mostly read gen fic, but for shipping? I'd have to say probably Noelle/Susie, or Paul Matthews/Emma Perkins? It really depends on the day - I'll read a lot of ships.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

None so far! My WIPs currently are probably going to take a long time, but I plan to finish all of them. Outlines may be bad, but I am determined!

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I'm really good at internal monologues. And along with that, characterization! I get a lot of really sweet comments about it, and I do like writing character-focused pieces! Which is kind of ironic, given that worrying about writing characters wrong was a pretty big reason I didn’t start writing again until this year.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Dialogue. Oh my god, every time I try to write snappy dialogue, I have new appreciation for comedians and dialogue-heavy writers. Those people are so talented. Sometimes I act out dialogue I’ve written and I want to throw myself into the sun.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

Look. I took French for five years. But every time I try to speak French, one of my best friends looks like she wants to fight me. I am not great at languages other than English. I am positive that if I tried to write dialogue by myself, I would just resort to DeepL, or Google Translate, and nobody wants that. If I have to write in another language, I'm going to try and get a translator.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Are we counting works posted to ao3, or first fic ever? Because the first fic I ever posted to ao3 was for a podcast, Spirit Box Radio, that I should really relisten to at some point. But my first fandom I ever wrote for was Gravity Falls - the fic's still posted to Quotev, and I have reread it recently. It was a next-generation fic.

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

How dare you ask me to pick? But seriously, probably pas de masque. I know it's cliche to say my most kudos'd fic, but I am super proud of my characterization of Gwen there, and getting to play with pre-canon Spider-Society and what it's like for someone to know they're doomed by the narrative in every other universe.

5. The fic you're most proud of writing?

Hmm. So, a toss up. It's silly, but I actually really, really like tied up in this yoga knot. I think it's funny and I had such a good time with my yoga mums. It was also my first (published) foray into writing Roy and Jamie, and I just fell in love so hard. Plus it was the first time anyone made a meme about my fic 😂

The other contender is saying your names. It spans the life of trans man Geralt from a very young age, exploring the different names and monikers he acquires throughout the years, all from the POV of his mother, Visenna. It's one of the most personal things I've ever written, and I'm really happy with it. I don’t know that I’ve ever found any writing I’ve ever done so healing as that.

Plus, someone so, so special told me it was “meandering and lovely, like a snake in your guts.” That was exactly my intention, so that’s incredibly validating. But beyond that, when it’s someone that, at the end of the day, you’re always sort of writing for, it stays with you. 💗

9. Biggest pet peeve when writing

FIGURING OUT SOMETHING DIDN’T SYNC PROPERLY EVEN THOUGH YOU ABSOLUTELY HIT SAVE AFTER YOU JUST EDITED IT SOOOOOOO FUCKING CLOSELY. I STILL find issues I’ve already fixed any time I open the WillRoyJamie fic.

10. Best/funniest comment you've ever gotten on a fic?

adsjkj I'm so glad you asked. Okay, so, obviously the one mentioned above stands out, as does every comment the incredible @kuwdora has ever left in her life. I've gotten some of the nicest comments ever from the nicest people ever, but the FUNNIEST comment remains this beauty left on accustomed to his face:

Yeah, and it’s also used as a way to be able to communicate more effectively with the monsters in a way they can understand, like using the human as an interface. Taking all those animal instincts Laios loves out of the equation

It’s not surprising if he’s creating chimeras, except that that would require the lover in this mix to have been a real actual elf, not another monster in disguise like a doppleganger

Because creating the chimeras is a symptom of the decline, not a cause, but for this one? This specific chimera to be a snake and still his lover? They’re still performing Mithrun’s desire to be with and see that lover

Even if it’s a doppleganger, which have extremely limited intelligence and rote responses. Even if it’s a kind of shape changer we didn’t meet in the series

It looks like the lover because Mithrun wants it to. This isn’t just a generic chimera monster like Falin is to Thistle; it’s not “slap these two together because they’re here”

That shape performs an extremely specific task, and has been performing it, regardless of how many creatures took that shape, since Mithrun became the dungeon lord. He always had that lover with him because that was the desire that the goat lured him in with

And right deep down past all of his inhibitions, whatever his state of mind, his lover having snake legs isn’t a turn off

It didn’t break the fantasy, and it still performs as a lover, caring for him in bed when he’s unwell right at the end

(Also, found another panel with that same snake tail thaaaat casts questions on this here timeline which I was also going off)

(Like. C’mon. We know that pattern. And this is at the very beginning of his decline, while the dungeon is only in level 2 because those are very clearly goldscrapers - which tend to run out of work by level 3

As in. That’s what makes it level 3. Less loot on the upper levels, people have to go deeper for the good stuff.

Also: dead Canary on the ground there. Some of his squad mates actually living in his dungeon is on the table)

Chimeras are not a level 2 monster. Chimeras are level 4

Surprising development Mithrun is actually more of a monsterfucker because I also figured this was just his chimera stage and possibly the very actual beginning of said chimera stage buuuut that one commentor’s note about it just being a lamia made to look like the lover is looking much more likely

And we never, ever see a panel of the lover with legs

The moment where Kabru reveals he’s Milsiril’s baby boy (and more relevantly the last survivor of Utaya)

Kabru telling them that he actually wanted to enlist in the Canaries directly, but couldn’t because of the racial barrier. How true that is……. Well let’s say I’m sure he wanted to when he was little, buuuuut by the time he left it wasn’t that they wouldn’t let him

And tbh the reason why is very much the next panel:

The Canaries learn he’s Milsiril’s little boy and immediately fucking claim him as theirs, asking if he’s been eating well, if he wants cake, telling him to cheer up and smile sometimes

It is notably the convicts, especially Otta and Fleki although Cithis has been leading the conversation; Pattadol is not in frame and Mithrun ruins all their fun by staying on track

Kabru is not 30 seconds out of saying he was raised by their vice commander before he is being babied, and there’s a fun read of just “well this is our child now we must care for him for Milsiril hello new nephew”

But. Given what we later learn Milsiril’s care is actually like. The room where Kabru could eat all the cake that he wanted, that he never ever wanted to return to even when freezing and starving.

Where she gave him such arduous and extensive sword training he thought he would die, with the stated intent of showing him how bad it could be to make him give up and stay with her forever.

“Wanna eat some cake” is suddenly a much darker comment, and doesn’t have a directional bubble, so I’mma pin it on Cithis on general Sketchy Bitch vibes

Now, that only makes sense if these folks know Milsiril directly, or have some way to know what her home life is like for her adoptees

(Or Cithis can read minds which let’s be honest absolutely no one needs to be true but she deserves it)

But. So does that immediate tonal shift

“Oh, you’re Milsiril’s kid. Now we care about you beyond being an interruption.”

We know Pattadol is on her very first mission. We know Cithis has been responsible for Mithrun’s care for long enough while he’s back on active duty that she gets bored of her new doll.

(And that she only started respecting him after they acquired Pattadol, whiiiiich. He got back to active duty 14 years ago. None of the other Canaries got their own timeline, but he’s also had long enough to have an established track record of getting his warden partners killed

When Flamela assigns Cithis to his wellbeing, she pretty clearly knows the extent of his caretaking issues, and this whole section of the timeline is fuzzy, but it is specifically Pattadol who is the first to tempt Cithis into telling Mithrun to hurt her

And specifically not until after he refuses that she begins to respect him)

Milsiril has been retired for the same 14 year period, taking Kabru and for some reason one of her own Canary convicts home with her, but she served with Mithrun when he initially became a Dungeon Lord 40 years pre series… and most of that squad died in Mithrun’s dungeon

(Also his lover became a snake person at some point for some reason sooooo monsterfucker ahoy)

(We know that’s the lover from both Mithrun’s initial vision and his Adventurer’s Bible comic which identifies his brother as the one with the short hair. Presumably they were not always a snake?)

None of the names he gave Kabru in his backstory refer to any of his current party members

Otta and Fleki mention Milsiril in Otta’s comic when teasing Otta about being a pedophile because she only dates halffoot women and breaks up with them when they turn 30

(This being past middle age for halffoots, who become adults at 13 and live to around 50; Chilchuck is 29.

One might expect… say… visible signs of aging to show up around 30. Reminders of how little time they have left. Although, frankly, how much free time does Otta actually have to be dating outside of work???? They’re so shorthanded Mithrun made captain the minute he could serve after Utaya)

Ahem. We digress.

Otta’s reaction (directly saying Milsiril treats shorter lived people like pets while she loves them as individuals, which Kabru Does Not Deny) might be because she’s seen Milsiril’s behaviour directly, or just being sick of the comparison. Hard to say, but Milsiril already doesn’t like elves

No, the conspiracy theory today is that CITHIS in particular has worked with Milsiril between Mithrun being rescued and Utaya’s destruction, possibly with Fleki and Otta

They’re all close to Mithrun’s age so there’s a very real possibility they were serving when Utaya fell, and either were lucky enough not to get sent there (there are so many dungeons in the world) or unlucky enough not to retire in the aftermath

Dumping Mithrun with Milsiril’s survivors makes perfect sense - the two had served together as wardens and Milsiril Barest Possible Minimum took a personal interest in Mithrun returning to duty after Utaya

She’s the one getting him to take his first steps and tells him she’ll get him back in a dungeon

Milsiril, known hater of elves, left the Canaries on good enough terms with her convicts to take one with her (Helki, shown in Mithrun’s story and Kabru’s training flashbacks - the only other survivor we know of from Mithrun’s dungeon)

And these particular convicts immediately brighten up knowing that Kabru is one of Milsiril’s; he’s in a very different position from Mithrun, who basically has direct power over their lives and deaths, but if you have a potentially unstable new captain who’s gonna be extra dependent on his convicts coming in…

Well, it’d be nice if the convicts have a reason beyond “well if both of our wardens die we can’t use magic so we will too” to keep him alive and moving

Note: they did at some point hand him directly over to fucking Cithis, who has an established track record of wrapping her captains around her little finger and doing whatever the fuck she wants anyway

(To the point that she’s left and “rejoined” the Canaries multiple times, and her behaviour with Mithrun is considered her having calmed down… while actively trying to have him hurt his subordinate wardens and plotting to kill Pattadol)

So. Not. Y’know. Convinced that anyone necessarily was thinking that particular assignment through. Although you could argue that they were just heading off the inevitable and letting her know this one is high maintenance

ANYWAY.

Tl;dr: Mithrun’s a monsterfucker, this is established fact and not a conspiracy theory

Kabru’s been adopted by the Canaries the second they know who his mom is, which may explain why no one actually tries to stop him when he grabs Mithrun later despite him not having a weapon

(Fear of Milsiril finding out they’ve hurt her boy > rescuing Mithrun or later even stopping Kabru from helping Laios repeatedly)

And Cithis, Fleki, and possibly Otta worked directly with Milsiril at one point before Utaya, which is why Mithrun was given them specifically - he was one of Milsiril’s projects too, Milsiril’s personal involvement unclear

How much this has to do with Mithrun getting all his warden comrades killed but apparently not his convicts: unclear

This is why hellers are so stupid.  They have a hierarchy.  And sitting right on top of that hierarchy is usually the most articulate person, who can spin the dumbest yarn but make it look like she is super smart.  This particular hierarchy in this corner of tumblr has @intelligentshipper  and the sad thing is, younger more impressionable idiots listen to her with wide, googly eyes.  Because they are too stupid to know she is speaking out of her rectal cavity.  She will use pie charts and graphs [no, I am not joking] to prove that destiel and/or Castiel are relevant and important.  Like feces, this creature goes by many names.  @GhostofBobby is one of them.

See, there's the freak's little chart.  I told I wasn't joking.  The thing with her method of operation, is that she uses these diagrams to impress a heller but frighten away any layperson who doesn't understand numbers.  That's why she calls herself ''intelligent''.  She is most definitely not.  She insists that there is a ''Secret Bibro's Council'' [I am not joking about that either].  Well, I am not hiding your nonsense in the anti tags.  I use the main tags to show your crimes and cruelty against J2.  Whatever I am doing is not a secret because I am afraid of no one.  So you are obviously not talking about me.      

Now, why am I interfering with this ugly freak?  By the way, I have seen her picture.  She is indeed, as ugly on the outside, as she is on the inside.  If you want to see how hideous this beast is, she has a YouTube account called Intelligent Shipper.  The account didn't do so well, perhaps because the ''millions of destiel shippers'' who watch Supernatural, didn't know she was on YouTube.  That has to be the only reason.  Cant be any other reason.  But go listen to her nonsense, though.  Just for a laugh at the very least.  Anyway, I digress.  Why did this beast tick me right off?  I did a post about demographics when I first pitched up.  She and another unimportant freak @tinkdw  came onto my post to tell me off.  Then she put together charts to prove me wrong.  This grown woman has the air of a scammer - someone who spins words to confuse you.  And she seems to target young shippers who don't know any better.  After awhile, Tumblr started to misbehave and I couldn't access my account.  So I told another bibro friend of mine, who happens to be a tinhat, about my dearly departed account via a message.  This is what appeared on my own post when Tumblr apologized and corrected the glitch.

So this slithering snake in the grass, was on a tinhat blog.  Any guesses why?  Because she is the worst heller out of the lot.  She looks at other people's posts and when she finds something that can threaten destiel's status,[or should I say, perceived status] instead of confronting the OP, [in this case, the tinhat blog], she runs back to her own blog and prepares a counterargument that the OP doesn't know about, because lurking is a heller thing to do, and therefore cannot defend herself.  This time she left this message on my post, thinking that I will never return to find it because of my terminated account.  When she realised I wasn't gone, she disappeared.  She never contacted me again.  Now this nasty person decided to look through my post.  I was actually wondering why she was so quiet.  She was not making her presence know, like a true reptile.  She found a wonderful subject:  Statistics.  Her most major turn on after Misha Collins.  A fan wrote something in the comments of my post.  Instead of going after me, this overgrown cow goes after this commenter.  The commenter was reduced to almost tears when she realized what this thirsty freak had done.  Just look at this.

The commenter in question, tried to speak her peace but these beasts basically ambushed her.  Because nobody has a more gang mentality than hellers.  Tink and ''intelligentshipper'' [is the name her attempt at trolling?] are bonafide gang leaders.  The commentor messaged me and told me that, for my own sake, I should block this freak.  I got her to calm down [I am sure she was crying] and go to bed.  She is probably asleep right now.  I could feel how upset she was.  I told her I will deal with this Misha-pushing menace because by the looks of it, she does need to be dealt with.  She doesn't behave like a rational grown woman.  When you see her hideous face on YouTube, you will see exactly what I am talking about.  She is a fully grown heller beast. 

Then, and wait for this one, this creature who clearly bribed her way to a passing grade, uses only her own blog and the contents thereof to prove that ALL destiel shippers have other tags that generally predominate their blog.  WOW!  Fortune 500 companies must be kicking her door down to gain access to her...intelligence.  Even on my demographic post, she did the same thing, although she inserted her favorite thing into the subject: graphs.  She said that she is not a child.  Well duh! I know what you look like, ugly bag of nuts, you are about as old as I am.  And because she is old, and everyone in her group are old [thank goodness children are not near enough to her] it must mean that EVERY heller is her age.  This person bugs me because she has a really horrible way about her.  She sneaks behind people's backs.  She backbites.  She actually used baseball stats to prove Cas is good for ratings.  No, I am not making that up either.  How stupid are the people who listen to her?  Tinkdw is like a loud, obnoxious bedroom dog, and therefore not worth my time and venting.  This heller mobilizes other hellers and only is a fool or a dishonest person will be her friend.

Intelligentshipper, if you want to run your ugly mouth off [and it is a very ugly mouth, I have seen it] come after me.  You don't look for comments on my posts and then post a nonsensical rant about it on your own blog.  The commenter was so upset, that I had to literally stop what I was doing in order to calm her down.  That is not how you treat another human being, especially when she was right and you were wrong.  The OP of the chart in question, was attacked so many times, she deleted the chart.  That is how your kind operates.  Bullying.  Try it with me.  You will regret it.  Don't toy with me or any of my friends.  Do the honorable thing and speak to my face if I said something you considered wrong, or shut your big mouth and back off.  Don't slither behind me, serpent.  I have no patience for spineless freaks.

A little dig into Ruin's mind and past was something I was not expecting today.

And him crying into Ballora's arms today?!

If you didn't get it, the guy who through the entire show, never cried in front of anybody, not even when Nexus tortured him, when Monty threatened him, even in his act, he didn't drop a single tear, but today he was crying in front of Ballora, after a nightmare, where his Creator compared him to himself.

Do you see where I'm coming from?

I guess today we discovered Ruin's worst fear.

It also explains why he got so defensive when Jack compared him to that monster, in another episode.

Second: They're already making a plan to save Jack, a drop of hope! Yieppppppppp

Third: This episode made me remember of some concerns i have of The Creator having control over Jack. Because if he wants to, he can just go on and change whatever thing in Jack's body to evitate that the family gets him back that easily.

The non-consensual body modification would just add to the angst and probaly cause some trauma on Jack. I think when he discovers that he hurt his dad, he will already feel immensely guilty over that too.

Lastly: Solar talking about how the Creator should be concerned over Sun's rage is very fair, because this man had already took too much BS, he ain't leting ANYONE mess with his daugther.

This whole video was perfect, just saying okay?

It was super interisting the whole interaction between characters, after that whole voting thing, and the conflicts they had.

Lefty who is this person you're talking to?! They are definitively hiding something.

Larson apeared again! We didn't see him in a good while.

Ruin trying to confort Puppet!? And Puppet connecting them, so they can pay their debt?!

Honestly, a really fair punishiment for what Ruin did. I get it why he just accepted it.

-"Monster". Oh, i know monsters. You're not one of them.

Okay that was very sweet of him.

-Hope that hurt by the way.

That made me think of Mouthwashing.

They are both similar. Had similar paths. But with what Puppet did. They will be forced to fall in the same fate. Wanting it or not.

Oh my God! It's finally happening!

First thing I've got to say about this entire episode: Moon is so real for his reasoning of not voting. It makes sense, he likes Puppet and she was one of his first friends, that helped him through stuff, but he is also, understandably, scared of Puppet's Powers.

And honestly, i liked his vision of the situasion.

Is interisting how the Foxy, Puppet and Eclipse reacted too.

Eclipse giving the idea of wiping their memories or just striking back, making sure he's the one with the "bigger stick".

Puppet doesn't really know what to do, she is sad of how suddenly everyone turned their back on her, even she was giving her everything for them.

Foxy wants to understand the situasion better. It makes sense why he thinks it was Ruin who manipulated them, quote unquote, "Smile on their face and stab you in the back", because, yeah, he did it before. But i think the question he forgot to do is "why Ruin would do something like that?" I don't think he really would have a reason to. And i guess it will be what he'll finds out in the next episode.

It's understandable why they are scared and this is their home, they should have some opnion on what's going on in there.

I just watched both videos and honestly, the voice acting was everything.

I'm very happy right now and proud for both of them for talking about the GIANT elefant in the room.

hehehe, Eclipse didn't deny he's Jake's and the Andrews's dad once again.

Andrew calling Lunar uncle was so funny.

Lunar inviting Eclipse for lunch?!

Eclipse saying "sorry"?! Takes millions of pictures.

I like that Lunar adimited his flaws, a big step to the path of getting better. :)

I'm just happy right now.

This whole episode was very interesting.

Lefty being mad and forming a type of anarchy against Puppet.

Ruin standing back, because he knows he doesn't have much of the right to be the judge here.

Ballora being uncertain.

Foxy saying Puppet is watching the cameras because she wants control.

Sun and Moon being pressured to vote and Monty trying to defend them.

When Lefty said "If she wants to cause problems she should do it at her own home" I had to pause the video for a moment, because oh sweet Jesus, Lefty you did not just say that.

Lefty is basically not understanding the full picture of the situation, none of them are. Well, Moon tries to understand.

Things are going downhill.

And honestly, I'm loving the drama.
