“Charlie is shivering in his seat, January air clinging to him long after he finished the walk to his children’s literature lecture. His hands are wrapped around a paper cup, clutching it in a desperate attempt to leech some of the tea's warmth into his nearly numb fingers, gaze focused on the laptop in front of him. Charlie generally keeps his head down at the start of term, preferring to be seen and not heard for the first couple of weeks to get a feel for things. That way he knows how to conduct himself. Still, almost instinctively, he looks up upon hearing a new set of footsteps cross the threshold, wondering idly if it’s anyone he knows from last term.

Charlie most definitely does not know the stranger hesitating just past the doorway. He’s rosy-cheeked and strawberry-blonde and boyish. And he’s just standing there as he scans the room in search of a seat like it’s the most casual thing in the world, like he isn’t making Charlie feel like the human equivalent of an error 404 message.

He may not know the other boy, but Christ does he want to. He’s pulled from the beginnings of a daydream featuring a rosy-boy when the gaze of the boy in question lands on Charlie. His lips quirk upwards and lopsided and soft when their eyes meet. And it’s a moment that feels significant for some reason, like it’s stretching out before them like honey falling from a spoon. Slow and sweet and promising warmth. It stretches further when the unnamed boy walks toward the empty seat beside him and his cheeks get impossibly rosier with each step.

Charlie’s brain offers two incredibly unhelpful thoughts as his seatmate gets settled: He’s so pretty and oh no.

Gay panic makes itself right at home while he tries (and rather spectacularly fails) not to stare too hard at the boy next to him. He turns slightly and now they’re face to face. Charlie learns his eyes are brown. They’re brown like honey, warm and sweet. And he has freckles. So many freckles. So many constellation clusters dusted across rosy, rosy cheeks.

Charlie realizes that silently staring at the boy next to him is weird, “Hi.”

The rosy-boy smiles, looking at Charlie with his honey-warm eyes for several seconds before offering a quiet greeting of his own.

“Hi.”

He knows something else is supposed to happen now, something he needs to do. He just can’t remember what it is.

“I’m Nick.”

Even his voice is pretty. Another distracted moment passes with Nick looking at him all honey-eyed and rosy-cheeked. Then another before oh shit, I’m supposed to also introduce myself.

“Charlie.”

A handful of distracted moments pass where they look at each other for what’s probably a beat, then two, then three too long. Nick exhales through his nose, it’s a gentle approximation of a laugh, but then their professor is standing up from the desk and walking to the lectern and Nick turns his head to the front of the room. Charlie does the same, managing all of ten seconds before giving into temptation and casting a sidelong glance at Nick.

His smile is still soft.

His cheeks are still rosy.

And he’s looking at Charlie, too.”

Remember when I had those air conditioning issues and had to take on some commissions to afford it? I also decided at that time that a job change was in order. I've moved on to a new hospital where I am incredibly happy. However, with a longer day and a much longer commute, real life is definitely cutting in to my hobby time.

If you've reached out to me with a question or a discord message that's gone unanswered, my apologies. I'm trying to devote what little free time I do have mostly to writing in order to get through commissions and to work on HSH.

I'm still here, I still love hearing from everyone, I just don't have the time right now to play like I used to.

The fact that none of his fans called him out on the blatant lie that he hasn’t ever dated anyone publicly tells you how they know that he lies about everything but don’t care. When he was promoting his album - fine line, he said “Cherry includes a voice message from his ex-girlfriend”, I guess when he can use it for for his own promo, he doesn’t mind it as much.”

Anon. Didn’t you know? Everything is fake and for the PR stunt. According to harries every thing about camille on that album is for the stunt. Even her voice. They blame kid harpoon. Same for harry’s house. If there’s even a small lyric or link to olivia, it was kid’s idea.

There aren't any links to Girl Boss on HsH. It was done before they even hooked up. Based on timing, HS4 will be "her" album. I don't understand why that's so hard for people to get.

Zayn is so weird. He had such a gift, and by that I mean they all did, coming out of a boy band phenomenon like 1D. He had X number of followers who wanted great music featuring Zayn and his quiet but cheeky, arty, long-lashed self.

It's not like there's some sort of sacred formula for pop stardom only available to the initiated. Sing well, look great, collaborate with grace and enthusiasm, tour so people can breath your rare air, don't abuse women, in fact big women up whenever you can because they're your audience, and don't be self-pitying. Work bloody hard, stay seen, have a plan for that. Generate content that people will share. It isn't easy to get a start and build an audience, that's a fact, but he had already done that! That's what I don't understand!

When you look at what Harry has thrown at the job, I'm amazed he's still standing. And he's done it alongside the very difficult task of protecting his private life from people who are obsessed with learning his every thought. I am one! (He's never wavered from that and I sense lately with this Hrought that people really are getting the message that he's not available for anything but the job.) He dialled it down for HsH but he'd earned that after HS1 and FL releases. I got in around the FL period and he did a solid five months of promo before stopping because of covid. Otherwise he'd have had a month and a half which would have been tour rehearsals, then a world tour. Look at how often the photos, clips, interviews from that era are shared still.

People are sort of shocked that Zayn's doing so badly but he doesn't make any effort to share his work self with people in a way that they can get behind. He went from: I'm on my farm, to a couple of lives and Youtube segments, to a couple of songs where he's not really giving much in terms of performance. It's emphatically not enough. Such a low-effort release, really. Maybe there's a strategy to come but it's all so lacklustre, and I have the feeling that's just who he is?

This is so much more promo than he's done since 2016.

How team awesome react with items they've given each other after home sweet home and mapiccs betrayal is so. Also fair warning I haven't figured out what all their gifts are just things they can probably wear.

Mapicc didn't have anything zam gave him during hsh. He had a message to send to zam and if that's how he had to do it, who cares. After finding the castle mapicc grabbed them again, it was all part of his game and since then he hasn't lost them.

Ro kept his gifts on and close during hsh and after. Although once leviathan started he just, forgot about them. He pushed them away really.

Zam kept his gifts from both of them, but hidden. Something mapicc gave him slipped into sight during the first day mapicc was at his castle. Zam froze when it happened, covering it like it was worth more than his life as he stared at mapicc. Then they continued.

For dualities, mapicc dropped his gifts from ro upon death (ban works differently than normal kills,, anything but your normal items gets lost). He might very gone back to the vault to get them. They mightve been destroyed. He might regret it. Just a little.

Ro dropped his items next to the void, onto his little island. He wanted to push them off but at the same time couldn't.

I love your response about hsh lyrics. I feel like Harry’s songwriting in hsh are disregarded as lyrically and thematicically inferior to his earlier albums or other works from his contemporaries. Albums like TS midnights and HS/fine line are regarded as lyrically superior, with comparisons favouring narrative style lyrics with poetic phrasing and explicit references that listeners can easily infer meaning from. This is of course a deeply engaging mode of storytelling which TS executes exquisitely on all of her albums and which harry has beautifully employed throughout old 1D albums and in HS and fine line. But I think it’s completely unfair to compare midnights or HS or fine line to hsh, considering the albums’ respective styles of songwriting are so contrary.

Hsh is really distinct in its evocative energy and it’s lyrics aren’t painting a narrative which you can visualise and directly empathise with, nor are they waxing poetic that you can directly relate to. Instead, it’s this different brand of lyriciscm embedded in playful and nostalgic imagery. Seemingly against your will, you’re sitting on cool granite countertops and swinging your legs against the kitchen cupboards of ‘little freak’, or you’re feeling the sun on your face in the garden courtyard of ‘grapejuice’, or you’re sitting in a cafe booth with the smell of freshly brewed coffee keeping you awake in ‘keep driving’. Olfactory imagery, instrospective musings and shamelessly debauche flirtations make this album one that, on first listen, appears lyrically unsophiscated. On subsequent listens, the mastery of this album unfolds - the rough edges can be seen as an artistic choice, to portray life as we experience it (unfiltered). And that’s what makes it so universally appealing.

this is such an articulate message and you expressed this beautifully, i'm just reading it and nodding along.

it's curious, i have seen midnights criticized/called a "regression," because it isn't folklore/evermore, and aside from the fact that there is plenty of quill pen lyricism on the record (ex: i searched aurora borealis green/i've never seen someone lit from within/blurring out my periphery), the intent of midnights is entirely different. she was forthright about that - returning to pop sensibilities, returning to intensely diaristic and explicitly personal storytelling. i agree with your assessments. i love the quill/fountain/glitter gel pen categories as a reference to categorize songwriting, because each form is unique and has its own strength and value. this is equally true of harry's approaches. I think it’s completely unfair to compare midnights or HS or fine line to hsh, considering the albums’ respective styles of songwriting are so contrary. same.

or to use another metaphor, i compared them to painters before, and on hs3 he's working with watercolors. it's meant to evoke sensations, bring forth sensory imagery and tie the emotions to those memories rather than the emotion itself being quite so visceral.

Breeding Spotlight: Leigh-ping Forward with OTTBs

Taking a glance at any entry list these days, there are quite a few prefixes and suffixes that we have come to know. The ever popular Irish Cooley, Ardeo, and Fernhill, the Belgian Zangersheide Z, the up-and-coming FE, Excel, HSH and Global, and even the Argentinian Solaguayre is on the rise. One could be forgiven for missing a lone “Leigh” here and there.

But not anymore.

In the 2023 edition of the annual Event at Rebecca Farm (Kalispell, MT) — one of the top destination events on the West Coast — there were more “Leigh” horses than any other breeder, trainer, or seller. There were 14 Cooley horses, 10 Fernhill, 7 Ardeo, 6 Z, 4 Excel, 3 FE, and 1 Global.

Squeaking past them all, “Leigh” horses had 15 representatives, from CCI3*-L all the way to Beginner Novice.

Humor abounds in the names of these salwart partners: Pridefulleigh, Mixologeigh, Bankseigh, My Leighona, Casualleigh, Agatha Christeigh, and my personal favorite: Drunk & Disorderleigh.

Where do they come from?

Jil Walton operates JARBA Farms out of Rebecca Farm in Kailspell, MT where she breeds and trains her own homebreds and off the track thoroughbreds. A representative of the 1992 US Olympic Eventing team, she helped USA to a top 10 finish and finished 17th individually as the highest placed American on a self made mare called Patrona.

Patrona herself was an off-the-tracker who Jil, in partnership with her parents, sourced in Southern California where she grew up. Walton calls her “the beginning of it all.”

“My dad, my mom, and I would pick the ones that didn’t run and turn them into event horses and event them so I’ve been doing that my whole life,” Jil said. “Then I met one of my clients, Leigh Gray. [She] brought a horse to me to event for her [while] she worked at a vet hospital and had access to lots of Thoroughbreds. So [we] started developing a relationship with trainers, and good owners, that wanted them to go on to do something other than just sit in the field.”

Most of the horses carrying the “Leigh” in their name are former racers sourced by Jil herself, and her friend Gray. But it didn’t begin that way.

Among the horses Leigh sent to Jil to be retrained and homed was Truly Triton. A 1992 chestnut gelding out of Coastal Breeze and With Approval, it began as a rehabbing project when he came to Walton with a tendon injury. Over time however, the partnership competed to the highest levels, completing the Kentucky Three-Day Event in 2004 and multiple top 10 finishes at the 4* level. As success came not only to Jil but with the horses Leigh was helping source, Jil felt a touch of inspiration.

“I decided I needed to give Leigh a little bit of credit,” she explains. “So then we started putting the Leigh on the end. I mean, it just kind of caught fire because there’s so many possibilities.”

The name options are pretty excellent (see above!). Indeed, Jil often gets messages with suggestions for Leigh names for future horses down the line.

She credits Leigh with an incredible eye for temperament and her own eye for confirmation, gleaned at her parents’ knees and her own 30+ years of experience. For soundness, she feels nothing can beat a good war horse — Thoroughbreds who have run for many years. Together, she and Leigh work in tandem to not only source successful sport horses but also to find the horse’s own passion.

“I tried to be responsible to the racehorses,” Jil says. “Some of them don’t want to jump. They don’t want to go eventing so we have one barrel racing, we have a couple that are ski-jouring.”

While Jil also breeds some of her own prospects (with the prefix JB for JARBA), her heart is firmly with the Thoroughbreds. The feeling of riding cross country on a horse with a high foundational level of fitness and forward training from their racing careers instills confidence and security. And she feels there is cause to be optimistic for the future of OTTBs in eventing.

“Before I felt like it was an uphill battle, 100%,” she says. “Thoroughbreds are getting so much more attention with the Thoroughbred Makeover and all of that. So I feel like people are more open to them now, which, for a long time, they haven’t been — so that’s rewarding to me.”

Leigh is winding down the non-profit that helped source these fine partners — the Thoroughbred Rehab Center — so there may not be a whole lot more “Leigh” horses coming through the pipeline. Jil herself is still trucking on with her part, having formed new connections and contacts in the racing industry to help retrain and rehome those horses who no longer can or want to race.

In an increasingly global sport where more and more often we see both professional and amateur members sourcing horses from outside our borders, we are seeing less and less of our own American Thoroughbred. While there is nothing wrong with finding quality wherever it may be, by casting a spotlight on our American professionals and trainers, our domestically bred horses can shine as well.

So next time you see that humor filled “Leigh” name, have a chuckle to yourself and maybe, just maybe, find your local OTTB trainer and see if you can find your next partner close to home.

okay sooo a friend of mine messaged me earlier today saying that he dreamt of louis and harry for some reason and i'm like— (1st, why!?!?!? 2nd, that's just so random 😭😭😭)

so basically his dream went like this...

in the dream, he woke up and went outside their house to see harry's feathery and colorful clothes and louis' apparently oversized white tank top that has black text in front that's very fresh (his words)

and he kept referring to them as harry styles and louis tomlinson (which to me is funny because he is a local, while us would only just call them by their first names)

in the dream, he went back to sleep and then woke up again. by the second time he woke up, louis was bidding goodbye to his (my friend's) mom for letting him sleep at their house hshs

and before louis left, my friend asked if he's leaving already and louis said yes (IN OUR OWN LANGUAGE) and they fist bumped. then my friend asked if he could have a picture with louis and he said yes. then louis left their house to go to their neighbor's 😭😭😭

and then apparently harry was also sleeping at my friend's house, specifically at his brother's room 😭😭😭

then my friend felt hot irl and that's when he WOKE UP HAHAHAHA

he said he'd show me his picture with louis and realized it was just a dream omfg i cannot 😭😭😭

This must be a really important final note to the message he's been trying to send all of HSH MVs if he filmed it first but decided to have it as the last MV right before his haitus break. This is his final goodbye to FL and how he felt during the FL time period shown in his FL songs and as @larrysblooming said in tags this is about everything he's been through fame wise, how he feels about it and how he needs a break away from that stressfullness for a while [being with his baby more]. He sees this as a goodbye to a quite stressful chapter and hello to a new fresh chapter.

I'm still so confused as to why he filmed this MV a long time ago before any other HSH MV more then likely but he waited till the end [last single and right before his haitus break] to release it. Is it because this MV and song is quite meaningful for him and wanted to end HSH era on a specific note or... ???

➸ he’s is sulking as usual. maybe you were gushing to him about how cool this male character in the book you were reading was and he was just looking at you as you talked so animatedly about this ‘fictional character’ with a huge grin on your face oblivious about his slight jealously. so later that night when you go to cuddle with him, he’s just sitting there with his arms crossed, a pout on his face. “what?”, you ask. “why are you sulking”, you ask, poking him. “i’m not…”, he denies. so you just leave it and get your book from the table and continue reading. it’s only when you’re grinning again at the scene in the book, hands on your mouth because the male lead just did such a swoon-worthy thing that his jealously comes up again. he knows it's stupid but he can't help it. when you look over at seungcheol, his frown has grown. “alright…you go enjoy your time with that fictional dude”, he says and you immediately understand the situation. “are you jealous right now? over a fictional character?”, you asks, scooting closer to him. “no why would i be jealous hm”, he replies. “come one cheollie, you know you’re the best okay”, you say and he fights the urge to smile but the dimple in his cheek betrays him. he gathers you in his arms and attacks you with kisses. “can’t believe i have to compete over a fictional guy”, he says as he kisses you back.

➸ another one who sulks when he’s jealous. you had a team assignment and was paired with a guy so when you’d been spending most of your time with this guy to work on the assignment together, he’s obviously getting jealous. you come back home and crash on the couch, jeonghan sitting on the other end of the couch with a frown on his face. you sense something is up. “what’s up, why are you sulking?”, you ask. “maybe my girlfriend seems to have forgotten about me”, he says looking at you. “what?”. “you’ve been with that guy almost the whole week now, i’ve barely gotten to see you”, he mumbles. “you’re jealous?”, you ask. “of course how can i not be when my girl is spending time with some other guy”, he complains cutely, making you chuckle. you scoot closer to him and wrap your arms around him hugging him. “you’re my only one”, you say which makes him smile, easing his jealousy.

➸ he’d be jealous but try to keep it cool and not overreact as this guy just keeps hitting on you. but he doesn’t say anything because he knows you’re your own person and he doesn’t want to seem or be too overprotecting because he knows you’re independent and can handle yourself. but when this guy doesn’t seem to be getting the message, he pulls you closer to his side, while he tries not to roll his eyes at all the pickup lines coming out of this guy’s mouth. “i’m sorry but i have a boyfriend”, you say and you and sense shua’s jealous from the way he’s eyes the guy. “so what?”, the guys nonchalantly replies and this has him seeing red and he scoffs. “excuse me? did you not hear her? she said she has a boyfriend which is me”, he says sternly taking a step front and the guy immediately backs away before disappearing into the crowd.

➸maybe you were giving more attention the kittens you had recently adopted and junhui was jealous…of the kittens…because of all the kisses and hugs they got while he seemed to get only a few pecks. so one day when you’re chilling on the couch, he’s coming up to you, wrapping his arms around your waist, pulling you into him. “jun what are you doing?”, you ask, surprised. “you seem to giving more attention to the kittens these days”, he sulks. “i think you’ve forgotten you have a boyfriend”, he says. “jun...are you jealous over a kitten?”, you ask, not believing this. “i could use some more hugs and kisses too you know”, he mumble complains and you’re just chuckling at how cute he.

❝ HOSHI ❞

➸ he’d literally be SO annoying when he’s jealous and SO clingy. he saw noticed how you were talking a bit longer to get the order from the café, so when he finishes his phone call, he enters the café only to see one of the workers in the café hitting on you, while you’re just politely trying to tell him no. hoshi comes storming up to you and wraps an arm around your waist, pulling you closer to him. “hey, it our order ready? we’re kind of in a rush”, he says while glaring at the worker. the worker seems to get the message and quietly goes in the back to give you your drinks. “are you okay baby?”, he asks softly. “yeah why i’m fine hoshi, you didn’t have to scare him off like that”, you say. once you’re in the car, he’ll just kiss you and hold your hand the entire drive too, not letting go of your hand at all. and even when he dropped you off home, he’s holding your hand again and kissing you goodbye.

❝ WONWOO ❞

➸ wonwoo will literally death stare and shoot bullets with his eyes. you guys had gone out for a small party and separated, talking to different people. but wonwoo soon notices how this one guy has been following you quietly and soon he’s talking to you too. he just observes you both talk but then the guy lifts your hand and places a small kiss on your hand, making wonwoo almost spit out his drink. “no one flirts with my girl”, he grits out. and he’s making long strides towards you, wrapping an arm around your waist immediately. “hi baby, i was looking for you”, he says while pecking your cheek, letting his lips linger there for a few seconds as he glances at the guy with laser’s shooting out of his eyes. you know something is up because he’s not very affectionate like this in public and you get your answer by looking at how he’s shooting daggers from his eyes to the guy in front of you.”wonwoo it’s okay hm”, you assure him once the guy is gone but he follows you around, holding your hand the entire time, not letting you out of his sight. ngl he’d just probably look so hot when he’s jealous hshs help.

❝ WOOZI ❞

➸ you needed some help with your assignment and one of the guys in your class offered to help you later that day. so when you’re at the café, you text woozi to meet you there itself. when woozi enters the café and sees you both talking and laughing, he’s getting a little jealous. plus seeing this guy sit so close to you, just adds to that feeling of jealously. he comes up and he ends up sitting opposite you because he has no choice. “hey y/n!”, he says, giving you a smile before glancing at the guy with a glare. the guy asks woozi a few things and with the way he’s responding coldly, you know he's jealous. “why don’t we continue tomorrow, let’s take a break?”, you say to the guy and he nods, packing his stuff and telling you he’ll text to later which just adds makes his clench his fist. when he’s gone, you finally speak to woozi who changed his seat to come and sit next to you now. “the look in your eyes is enough to drill holes into someone”, you say lightly. “are you jealous baby?”, you tease, finding this situation amusing. “no why should I be?”, he asks. “hmm, wait oh he texted me”, you say, picking up the phone only for woozi to lean over and see what he said. “today was fun, see you on monday”, it said. “fun?”, woozi lets out, not able to hide his jealously anymore. you lean into him and peck his cheek, and somehow that’s enough for his jealously to melt away slowly.

➸ is so petty when he’s jealous. you were talking with hoshi and basically rolling on the floor laughing because he said a really funny joke. and we all know hoshi’s a affectionate person so he’s giving you high fives and whispering something in your ear as he sits close to you. and hao’s just watching the scene unfold in front of his eyes with slight jealously. he knows it’s stupid but he can’t help it when he sees you laughing and having so much fun with hoshi. when Hoshi excuses himself to take a phone call, you turn to minghao. “hey what you doing?”, you ask as you sit on the floor. he just shrugs. “hao what’s wrong?”, you ask. “why don’t you go talk with hoshi huh seeing how you were having so much fun with him”, he says and you roll your eyes, getting up and taking a seat next to him. “come on, you know i only love you”, you say and that breaks him, a small smile spreading across his face. later that day expect minghao to go subtly threaten hoshi to keep his distance from you shshshs.

➸ so so clingy. you had joined a baking class because you wanted to learn how to make macarons. mingyu decides to surprise you after he’s done with work early so he heads to where your class in, only to enter the room and his jaw drops to the floor. you were maybe struggling to pipe the macaron batter properly so the guy who was teaching you stood very close next to you, and brought his hand around you, and held your hands as he showed you how to pipe. now mingyu upon seeing this is so jealous, he’s glaring at the teacher. he takes long strides and you see mingyu, giving him a small smile. “hey mingyu!”, you say. “hey y/n”, he says before glancing at the teacher taking another step forward and mingyu easily towering over the guy. “maybe you should go help someone else”, he says coldly and the guy just walks away but not before telling you to ask him for help if you needed any more, earning yet another glare from mingyu, which you noticed. once the teacher is far enough from you both you speak. “mingyu! you’re scaring the poor guy, he was just trying to help me jeez”, you say. “what? like that, he was practically all over you”, he counters, jealously laced in his voice. “are you jealous gyu, is that what this is?”, you ask even though you know the answer. “no”, he huffs. “hm wait i think i need more help,”, you say getting ready to call the teacher. “NO”, mingyu almost yells, earning a few looks from the other students. you only chuckle in response and let mingyu follow you around and help you instead.

➸ you happened to run into your high school friend, which was such a pleasant surprise. “omg hi!”, you exclaim and soon you both are in your own world talking and just as a friendly gesture, he puts his hand over your shoulder which you don’t mind but dokyeom on the other hand minds it…a lot. he’s just glaring at the guy, his eyes shifting between the guy and his hand on your shoulder and he's trying to keep calm because he knows if you were uncomfortable, you’d move away. but still he can’t help the slight jealously that builds in him. finally, you guys say bye and he hugs you glaring more. He walks over to you and pulls you in his arms and you’re a little surprised at how tight his grip on your waist is. “hey…you okay?”, you ask and he just nods his eyes still on that guy as he walks. ➸ going full petty mode on you and be a little sarcastic maybe? you had given him your phone so he could add anything to the shopping list if he wanted since you were going shopping later that evening. but he saw this note called boyfriends <3 and he's so so intrigued and like wth is this so he opens it to see the list of all the book boyfriends you’ve listed and how you’re fangirling over each of them in small descriptions you’ve written. and he get’s kinda…well he gets jealous. so when you comeback to see him frown, you’re asking him what happened. “since when did you have so many boyfriends”, he asks. “what do you mean? you’re my boyfriend”, you reply, confused. he shows you the list and you’re immediately understanding the situation. “seungkwan…those are book boyfriends who i just like, not like i can actually date them you know”, you explain but he can’t hide the jealousy on his face. “yeah why don’t you go spend time with this kaz brekker or carden or this aaron warner guy”, he says crossing his arms over his chest. “kwannie…are you jealous….over guys who don’t exist”, you asks, amused. “no why would i”, he denies. you sit next to him and kiss his cheek. “jeez you’re cute when you’re jealous”, you reply, editing the note and putting seungkwan’s name first with many hearts, which makes him smile and his jealously is melting away.

➸ i feel like vernon isn’t the type to get jealous easily or get jealous? like it’d take him a while to get jealous like today when he noticed how the bartender kept trying to flirt with you and how his hands kept brushing against yours as he handed you your drinks. so he inches closer to you, giving you a small smile and a peck on the cheek as he reaches out for the drinks, handing you yours, while he glares at the bartender while he takes a sip of his.

➸ i feel like it’d just be so obvious if he was jealous hshs. you guys were out at a mutual friend’s birthday. the night was going well but then when everyone started slow dancing, he was looking for you to dance with you too. and that’s when he sees you dancing with someone else and he’s just so so jealous and he just can’t believe what he’s seeing. you had accepted the guy’s offer to dance just for a few minutes out of politeness and because you really didn’t think much of it since you were going to look for dino anyway afterward. so, when he sees you two laughing and swaying, he’s clenching his fist and the way that guy’s arm is on your waist doesn’t sit right with him and he’s storming over to you. “hey sorry but i’m going to steal her to dance, she’s my girlfriend after all”, he says to the guy coldy. he backs off and dino guides you to the other side of the floor, away from him. “dino…are you being jealous right now?”, you ask, looking at him, following his gaze to see him still death staring at that guy you were dancing with earlier. “no why should i be”, he counters. “really baby, i know you’re jealous okay, it’s pretty obvious”, you say and he looks at you. “it was just one dance”, you explain. “but still…”, he says and you chuckle at this. you lean in and place a small kiss on his cheek, which makes him feel a little better.
