hey zuzu (or was it cinna now? havent been on tumblr in a long while, sorry), its 🦫anon just dropping by to say hi :)

just read your nostalgia post and i’m so glad that you’re in a better place mentally! i just wanted to say that it doesn’t matter if your rusty now, who cares? tbh, i haven’t drawn in years, even all those times when i sent you a drawing when we were all in a genshin haze i didn’t feel great about them, but looking back (and even back then) i was so happy that the fact that they were sub-par didn’t matter because we were having fun, y’know

i honestly have a small habit of dissociating as a subconscious coping mechanism, and reading fanfics was like a way of escape for me. ignore the real world with all the noise and people and head into a world of imagination with my favorite comfort characters. and it was so fun sharing my silly little daydreams with you and everyone else :D

i’m more out of my shell now and finally have great friends. but i just wanted to come back and well, say thanks for honestly being one of my firsts(? i don’t knkw if we count as friends, but yk what i mean)

-🦫 just glad that you’re better now and are finding your motivation again, even if it’s only bit by bit. thanks for keeping me company during the pandemic. my relationship with my sisters was still rocky then and sadly i wasnt the best at handling all of that, but it’s all better now.

in short, i just wanted to say hi, super glad that you’re doing better and thanks for putting a smile on my face with your fics :) (and honestly, i dont think my genshin obsession couldn’t have lasted 3.5 years w/o you fanfic authors😭)

oh my goodness.. this definitely made me tear up. the very fact that some of my closest friends/anons from my time writing on tumblr are still around me in some way is so heartwarming.

thank YOU for listening to all my ramblings and chatting with me for so long! the very same way us fic writers got you through a rough patch, you've also helped us as well. i mean i can't speak for others, but i can certainly speak for myself when i say that your company meant the world to me then and it still does even now!
