“No no, there’s no blame at all !” She assured. “I can empathize with your situation, I’ve had quite a few hectic mornings myself. Schedules with CREEP falling within the same time as acting can be pretty crazy. But I figured I should let you know, lest you end up finding out yourself hours later, you know?” She had a bright smile on her features. “Hopefully the rest of the day slows down enough for you. Next thing you know, you’ll have your shoes on the wrong feet trying to get out the door too fast!”

     “OF ALL DAYS it just had to be broken, huh? just my fucking luck. the stars aren’t aligned at all. it’s a sign.” he mumbles and complain as the two trek up the stairs to theo’s apartment. the scowl on jun’s face never leaves. not even when the pair enter the warmth of the hallway or when he shucks off his soaked shoes as to not dirty up the floor. the action does nothing cause his socks still leave behind his smallish footprints.      IT’S NOT UNTIL he’s changing clothes, after flipping theo the middle finger with a pained smile on his lips, does jun let his angry demeanor fall from him. behind surrounded in the other’s soft clothing a scent he can’t wait to assimilate into his own scent.      HE PUSHES THE door open and pads down the hallway in search of theo, calling out before he even reaches the living. “hey, i hope i didn’t get the food items too wet. otherwise, we’ll be forced to order takeout.” he smiles upon seeing the blonde and bounds over quickly to throw himself on one of the many couches dotting the living room and lets out a sighs as his body is comforted by the plushness. “i need me a couch like this. it’s so soft. i might just fall asleep, ah.”

UTOPIA’s sub-unit SHANGRI LA, held an art exhibit in their debut showcase + 2K artists attended the said double event!

On May 25, 2K Entertaimnent’s Utopia sub unit: Shangri la held a showcase and an art exhibit all at the same time  to promote their debut mini album “Fresco”. 

As with the unit’s first release, the tracks on “Fresco” were produced and composed by Utopia’s Eden, who didn’t participated on being a vocal unit member. It’s been three years since Utopia debuted, yet they just started promoting in units this year. 

The overall theme and concept of the said unit debut is art. Mixing art and music together to create the Unit’s image. With this, Shangri La didn’t just held a normal album showcase, but also opened an art exhibit, which displayed various artworks related to the album by various artists in Seoul. The art exhibit opened around 4:00 pm, while the showcase started around 7:00 pm as soon as the exhibit closed. 

Blush’s Kimiko (@kimoriz) also performed as the opening act for the showcase. The Blush member and soloist gave and electrifying performance of  three of her songs from her solo debut album: Paradise, Superwoman and Find me, in which she received a standing ovation from the audience.

All of this happened in  Bluesquare Samsung Card Hall in Seoul where 2K artists attended to see this revolutionary event unfold, and to celebrate art and music as one.

I spoke to a man today. He’d been sleeping rough for many years. He suffered from paranoia and depression, and he’d recently lost his girlfriend. “You keep going,” he said, “you just keep going.”

I wish I could tell his story, because it’s a human story. Because suffering is not a beautiful thing, but it is not unique either. To be human is to suffer. Sometimes, at least.  The first thing I want to tell you about not wanting to live is that it doesn’t mean you want to die. You just want to stop suffering for a while. And it is something I have been in battle for all my life.

Looking at this piece of paper, I feel awful and guilty. I am sorry for leaving you all behind. But I thought I’d have to leave now before I begin to hurt myself, and leave for good. I have to find ways to cure my broken hearts, so I won’t break yours. I am sorry that Leader is selfish. I just need this, badly.

I will leave this weekend for Jeju. I will be admitted in a hospital to mend with my depression. I will be available for conversation every now and then, I will keep in contact.

Members, please take good care of yourself. Don’t skip meals and make sure you had enough sleep. If there’s something that is troubling you, tell it to the others. Don’t keep it to yourself. We are brothers who share the same passion and love. We will understand.

       SHANGRI LA Is Art Personified In COLOR  MV

The vocal unit of UTOPIA, called SHANGRI LA makes their debut with a gorgeous, artsy music video! On May 23, the unit released their latest title track, “COLOR (Every Afternoon),” from their unit debut  mini album “FRESCO.”

Shedding their darker concept in Utopia, members Hans (@i87cm), Cosmo (@cosmojnkyu), Jihwan  (@94jihwan), Theo ( @95theokim), and J. Seok ( @jseokjin) made their unit debut with a more gentle yet charismatic look. The mellow yet powerful track fits this change and showcases each member’s strong talents. Meanwhile, the accompanying music video is ethereally beautiful as it tells the tale of the members reflecting on a lost love. It is also revealed that Utopia member Eden ( @edensi) helped with the mvs direction.

In other news, the unit’s debut showcase will be held at  Bluesquare Samsung Card Hall in Seoul   in the 25th of May, and many 2K artists are said to attend the Art Exhibit themed showcase.

[Vlive Concert] Who’s Next?_The Reunion

The second day of the reunion concert still holds some of the same songs but holds a different feel as it is the last time the contestants ( @i87cm, @cosmojnkyu, @ochitsuitaro, @95theokim, @jseokjin, @gnams, @seihyukm, @95pandaa, @levinoski )  will be performing together on the same stage.

As expected, more label mates of Utopia have participated in day two those being girl groups Jelly beans ( @fy-jellybeans ), Creep ( @fy-creep ), Mellow members June ( @aekure ) and Juniper ( @95vii ), and lastly Unplugged ( @fy-unplugged ), as well as host Jung Hyesu ( @hyeitssu ).

It was an emotional day for not only the contestants but also the fans they had gained through this survival show. All of their efforts were seen through this last day of the concert, many of the contestants have shared they were happy to perform one more time with the others and how it brought back good memories from their time on the survival show. Many shed tears, laughter, smiles, etc. but never failed to show they were having a great time on stage where many of them become one with a single dream.

Who’s Next is a survival show made up of fourteen contestant who fought with talent to be placed in the final lineup of, now all round talent boy group, Utopia. The show started up in March and this year will be marked as four years since the show’s success. However, there were only twelve contestants ( @i87cm, @cosmojnkyu, @ochitsuitaro, @95theokim, @jseokjin, @94jihwan, @gnams, @seihyukm, @95pandaa, @levinoski ) to participate in this two day reunion concert, the two are unable to due to personal reasons.

The concert showcases original songs from the survival show, in which the boys has participated in once before. Quite a number of label mates have participated in the reunion concert to pay their respects to not only their seniors but the contestants who were unable to join the final lineup as a Utopian. The following groups who participated in day one are girl groups Krokos ( @fy-krokos ) and Pandora ( @fyeah-pandora ), boy group Crisis ( @fy-crisis ) and female duo 2trbl ( @fy-2trbl ) as well as Jung Hyesu ( @hyeitssu ) as the host of the concert.

The contestants of Who’s Next have not only performed music from the show and Utopia but also covers of other various artists. There is a spotlight performance for which each contestant excels in such as dance, vocal, and rap. The overall concert of day one seems to be a rather happy and exciting moment for the boys as most of them have not seen each other in awhile. It’s great to see them perform as a big group once again.

        UTOPIA’s new variety/reality show revealed!

Utopia is back on reality television! This time, not as competitors of a survival show, but as themselves. The show’s main format is to show the daily lives of the said conceptual group under 2K Entertainment.

 Six of it’s members: Theo (@95theokim), E:Jei (@ochitsuitaro), Cosmo (@cosmojnkyu), Jihwan (@94jihwan), J.Seok (@jseokjin), and their lead rapper will be on the show, whilst their leader Hans ( @i87cm) won’t make an appearance on the show due to his short hiatus.

The show is scheduled to premier on April 19, 2017 and will air a total of 7 episodes.
