show finally over :D back home at 12:30 (pretty early tbf) because prom is tomorrow, it was an extra quick up time with cancelled rehearsals, and even without that we're all just really tired lol. so no IHOP, but we might go out to a late lunch later this week slfjdhkls. it was a great show and cast party though :)

yeah, guys, idk. i think tk is doing a really good job holding himself together, but i don’t think he’s doing half as well as he’s presenting. 

i mean, i’m thinking back to his speech at his sober birthday. i’m thinking about how the 126 brought him so much hope after his OD, and how he opened his heart to them long before he opened his heart up to carlos. we don’t know anything for sure, but i’m really getting the feeling that played a big role in the tarlos breakup — like, the pilot opened with tk absolutely spiraling out of control because he opened his heart up and got it smashed. i think tk shut down because he feels like he can’t fall apart. bc, when he falls apart, he relapses, and when he relapses, things get dark.

his and carlos relationship started because he wanted to feel something, and now i think he’s trying not to feel anything at all.

that’s my theory anyway. could be totally wrong.

I still love transplant but this whole story line with Rania is so fucking stupid. It makes sense that Bashir would have a hard time emotionally connecting to and trusting a woman he has moved on from grieving, and that’s a perfectly valid story, but the thing is he really WASNT struggling with it too much? He was nervous and elated to see her the first few eps, they had some issues with awkwardness cohabitating but he was still clearly overjoyed enough she was back that he wanted to GET MARRIED. And she spent five whole years fighting to get back to him! Why would she give up just bc he’s been a little cranky for a couple of weeks????

Anyway, this is the second show I’ve watched where a Muslim character has a secret fiancé show up, only to be written off in a really rushed and dumb way and I don’t fully understand why both of these shows felt it necessary to do this weird ass storyline. Justice for Rania!!

DOIN GREAT.

I'll have to rewatch it (the next time) because I was too busy typing lol so I think I missed some of it but eh. Yeah! Thoroughly enjoyable premiere :))

Uh, REVIEW

So, yeah, I thought it was good! I mean like, not unpredictable, super, but still fun.

Also I'm not sure if the Tarlos and hospital/injury stuff will be more angsty broken up or not broken up, well, together, but OOF yeah I just hope it's well done. Anyway ahh that's all the energy I have to articulate thoughts right now (especially in typing format lol, it's so much extra effort xD maybe I need to be a reactor lol, I wouldn't though xD), so, yeah!

Loved it, loved seeing my boys (all of em technically/kinda but mostly, or at least that's specifically relating to, Tarlos, lol - also earlier Tarlos tried to autocorrect to all caps sooo whoops I think that's my fault from earlier XDD, probably, lol) and all my wonderful children again, I love them, great episode!! I hope you enjoyed this reaction :).
