Let's start with his brothers.

We already have a fantastic example of how he would dress Raphie, as it was already done in show.

That white suit? Totally 80's inspired. 😎

Actually, it's almost 1 to 1 with the main cop in Miami Vice....

As for his other brothers, hmmm...

Mikey seems to have a propensity for 80's hip-hop jackets and tracksuits, so I feel like Don would put him in one as well.

As for Leo...

I feel like Leo would dress HIMSELF in something like this, almost verbatim:

Road trip! Arcane style!

Claggor: Driver. Refuses to get off the main roads and has reverted to an 80s dad that yells at the kids in the backseat. 🚗

Powder: Navigator. Angel. Got the passenger seat even though she was last to yell "shotgun". Only one Claggor trusts with the maps. Forgot where they're supposed to go and plans to wing it. 🧭

Violet: Backseat driver who demands everyone listens to her playlist the whole way. Only wants to play the same 4 songs on repeat. Was immediately banned from being the navigator. Eventually banned from touching the aux cord. Always knows a shortcut. Confidently gives wrong directions every time. 🗣️

Mylo: Self proclaimed snack bringer who forgot all the snacks and keeps getting motion sickness. Ended up in the middle seat even though he's not the shortest. Keeps arguing with Vi over directions when not having them pull over for motion sickness. 🤢

Little Man: Just along for the ride. Actually knows real shortcuts but doesn't tell anyone so they can be together longer. Brought snacks for himself and only shares them with Powder. 😎

Vander: Hasn't noticed the car or the kids missing but is suspicious that it's too quiet. 🤔

Sevika: Finally able to enjoy a day of peace and quiet. 💆‍♀️🤸‍♀️

Silco: Gave them Vander's keys when he wasn't looking. 😈

Boy, I do! ...like totally! ...But the 1980's were more than just neon colors, big hair, Madonna, Duran Duran, Michael Jackson, MTV, righteous toys, and most excellent games like Nintendo and Pac-Man. It also had it's own awesome iconic building style - postmodern "contemporary" architecture (which is, sadly, no longer contemporary today.) Houses from the 80's often present asymmetrical facades, geometric shapes, unusual rooflines, and stone accented features against a mix of vertical and diagonal wood siding. It is an eclectic mix of patterns, fer shure. 😎

So like… can I say that I want to make a rpg game of David… because I really do 😭

But like analog horror.. of Saul/David

AHAHAHAAA- well I made these little David and Jonathan sprites hehehe (this is my first time doing pixel art omg) along with another version of Jonathan, and don’t be fooled by their cutesy appearance, since that’s what this innocent bible game is trying to make you think.

But basically, this focuses on Saul’s descent into madness including his relationship with David, Jonathan, G-d, and himself as the story unfolds…

Okay the concept that I have tho goes as follows:

In the game, you play as David, and your main goal is to simply play music for King Saul, for one night. Along the way, David meets various characters, telling him about Saul and warning him. But most importantly, David meets Jonathan, and Jonathan is your guide. He knows Saul best, and you must trust him.. and make sure you do exactly everything he says in order to get to play for Saul.

But once you finally play for him… the madness unfolds. Everything is off. You’ve been transported to Saul’s realm/mind as you confront the evil spirit that torments him.

And at this point, more is learned about the king, and the fate of Saul and Jonathan, and how Samuel manipulates his chosen ones.. but also there are like four “levels” to play, in which you play the pov of different characters in each section of the story. You start off as David, then Jonathan, then Saul… and then David again.

It becomes more hellish and dark from that point forward, seeing fragments of memories and Saul’s subconscious, and different interactions between different character povs. And the ending, I’ll be keeping it to myself…

Until or if I even make this game happen- LMAO

Except I literally have no knowledge of making rpg and coding and stuff… so… if there’s someone who knows how, I WILL GIVE YOU THIS IDEAA, orr… in the far far future when I have the time and when my life is great and not depressing, maybe I’ll actually try to learn to make this heh… But I’ve also seen people make rpgs with their ocs, so… it’s not entirely hard to make one right? Lol

As for the style of the game, it’s a vhs style game from the 80s that’s a mix of pixels, and a painting airbrush/surreal style, for certain parts.. David’s sprite stays pixelated tho, but I imagine Saul and Jonathan to have another sprite that’s more eerie and painted, toward the end, like that other version of Jonathan I made.

I even made a concept for the soundtrack lmaoo, but these songs fit the vibe well

But anyways, this is like something I want to make one day. I have a thing for vhs rpg style games, and making one for David would be so cool, but it’ll probably be a lot to try and make for how I imagine it ngl lmao. But nothing can stop me from making a silly little analog horror game of David’s story, whenever i get the time 😎

Honestly though, Hades and Homer arguing about dishes is such a married couple fight, I can confirm one person will always have a problem with the way the other does dishes 😂😂😂😂

Hades saying ‘you’re a person’ while walking and the sun hitting his eye in a way that really does make him look like a god, it’s kinda perfect 😎🖤

Hermes saying this like tomato, tomahto is great because I don’t think they had tomatoes in Ancient Greece at all, I think they thought they were poisonous— (which if you hate tomatoes like I do, they are 😝)

On the subject of etymology of names— Dr. Strom! Strom is German for electricity⚡️ ! So an electric automaton, its hidden in plain sight in his name lol

Another thing I realized about names— Homer’s last name is Lehrer which is German for instructor. I’m sure this is applying to the fact that he’s ‘teaching’ Hades about the joys of being human to win—

My absolute favourite thing is Hades’ not-so-subtle jealousy when Homer said he wanted to move in with Hephaestus. Homer tried to downplay by saying ‘you don’t want to live with a nerd’, but Hades then insisted that Homer should try harder with his bet and OMG HE’S SO JEALOUS 😂

And the fact that Hephaestus’ style is very 80s makes soooo much more sense because of that haha

Got a curious thought on what you think Marty and Jennifer would feel about having to adapt to modern teenage culture, tiktok, instagram, social media, as well as the vast change in modern teen fashion trends and having to wear them if they had to time travel to present day.

I'm actually pretty interested on what you have to say to this cause I get a lot of drawing ideas just by asking others what I have on my mind !

Interesting question! So, they're traveling to our present day as we currently know it? In terms of fashion, I think Marty would heave a sigh of relief. The 2015 clothing he saw was so off the walls, and I feel like our fashion isn't all that different from what he knows in 1985?? In fact, a lot of what is "hip" today is just recycled styles from the 80s and 90s. Actually, maybe he might be a little disappointed and expect something cooler. Jennifer would probably find the fashion easy to adjust to.

The general culture and social media stuff would throw them for a loop, though. I can see them absorbing the state of society with a sense of fascination and also deep confusion. Probably not understand how media can have such a tight grip on our lives and dictate so much of how we live it. They'd probably think it was sad, to be honest. I mean, I LIVE in this time, and even I think it's sad lol. They'd be quite happy to return to the 1980s.

Of course, once they become parents, they get all the teen culture info from Marlene and Jr. It baffles them, and they can't figure out what their children are talking about half the time, but they somewhat attempt to keep up with the trends and slang. Thanks for the ask!

I like this one a lot design-wise. The collar is dope and I think the maroon accent lines divide the black/blue in a way that makes for a nice overall jacket profile. Kind of a shiny material, probably leather? Simple and clean design but it's also pretty safe. I get kind of just a normal biker jacket vibe from this one (yes I'm aware the zipper design doesn't exactly line up with that style but I don't know how else to classify the style).

He pulls it off because he's never *not* slaying, but if I saw this one on someone else, I don't think I would be as crazy about it. I like the baby blue quilty-padded thing that's going on here more than the red sleeves, they do clash a lot. It works though. Very 80s, lol.

OKAY HEAR ME OUT I know this is a suit jacket, but, like, it fits him so well!! Very classy imo. Props to the tailor that fit him for this, or himself, or whoever is responsible for getting it to sit just like that on him (high-key looks so good). Especially for a blazer in the 80s (which is saying a lot, blazers were being massacred back then, oof).

✅ No teeny-tiny thin or extremely large lapels that engulf the entire jacket (check)

✅ Not some weird color/pattern that will give you epilepsy when you look at it for more than one second (check)

Carruthers - DYNA-SOAR

"... Not sure where the name "Carruthers" comes from, but they're the faceless builder that's associated with the infamous Dyna-Soar fuzz (from the early 80s). Most notably used by @kimletgordon , the original Dyna-Soar is a super heavy, sludgy Big Muff clone of sorts. The "Lite" version, which I've had for over a decade, is essentially the same circuit but with a strange configuration of the transistors that make it sound more like a chunky overdrive than a fuzz. Interestingly enough, the one I have was modded by the previous owner back into its original Muffy glory! So I had been waiting and searching for nearly 13 years to find an actual Dyna-Soar to compare it to, and finally last week I nabbed one. 😎 Both are pretty intense with the amount of gain that's available. The only other Muff style pedal that comes close would be the Maxon OD-801. The modded "Lite" I have is oddly articulate, even at the highest gain setting, but still punishing. While the regular Dyna-Soar has a mountain of low-end that can dooooooom for eons..."
