This picture. This album cover of Park Young Mi's "나는 외러움, 그대는 그리움 (I am loneliness, you are longing)", is the bane of my existence as Sea on the internet. You might know me as SeeTheSeaInUDP on reddit, or elsewhere.

This picture above encapsulates everything I feel for the 80s-90s, especially in Korea. It is exactly my aesthetic. The aesthetic of this blog, if you so will.

Her long brown ankle-length skirt that brushes the grounds and cover her white pointed boots, paired with a white blouse, give her the look of a quiet, introvert and thoughtful young girl.

I feel somewhat the same. I think about a lot of things, over- and underanalyze happenings and pop culture from that generation. It's like, I am lost a little in that time. A time that is far behind, hazy and fuzzy in many people's memories, but still there for me to discover and enjoy. Just like I discovered "I am loneliness, you are longing".

The song itself is heavenly, and no, I don't think it sounds like Bette Davis Eyes. If you want to take a listen to it while scrolling down my page, here you go:

Oh whoever was Ha Hee Ra's hair-makeup-outfit stylist in this episode deserved A RAISE

(I couldn't catch a full shot of her outfit but they paired this combo- shes wearing a white pencil skirt btw - with pure white stocking and blue leather-y low heels. She looked absolutely MAGNIFICENT in that and if I were a man I would have fought Choi Soo Jong for her hand in marriage

Hey y'all! If anyone knows me it's beacuse I'm u/SeeTheSeaInUDP on reddit or 8090s.k_goldenoldies on instagram lmaooo. I have a naver blog too, as well as pinterest.

I'm originally an 1st gen kpop stan, but we've graduated to 90s, then 80s, and now I'm headlong into 70s. SAVE ME.
