In a forest full of fairies and wonder, it'd come to no surprise that a sense of happiness filled the air wherever the Fairy King had gone. Gloxinia was flying through the trees, allowing his majestic wings to flutter behind him, looking for many little fairies as they hid from him.

His favorite game to play, hide and seek; Especially as he'd come across so many that were terrible at keeping quiet! They'd either just giggle to themselves or speak to one another; telling each other 'Keep quiet! He might hear us!'

"Caught you!" He'd speak as he would sneak up on them, giving them a sudden fright before putting their heads down at the idea of being found already.

"Aww man." "Boo!" "Hey lets go find the others!" They'd all speak in union before floating off.

The fairy king would cross his arms over his bare chest with a chuckle towards the fairies, watching as they'd fly off to play their own games. "Fairy king!!" Gloxinia was quick to turn to a few little pixies surrounding him with frightened and confused looks. "We felt something creeping around in the forest at the waterfall! It was a weird presence!!"

"Really?" He seemed to almost laugh it off and pat them all on the head, "Don't worry, I'll take care of it." He assured before flying off through the forest. It couldn't be that bad, likely a demon. He can handle that.

Well, at the time he wasn't expecting to have met a fairy like them.

After some time, Gloxinia felt a suspicion creeping up his back. There wasn't a sign of anything strange lurking through the trees the longer he searched.

That's when he heard the smallest sounds of something moving towards the ground, walking slowly and bushes rustled. As soon as rushed to the area, it was just a fairy.

"What are you doing here?" Gloxinia asked confused but didn't get an answer from the certain fairy as they turned to him, their expression nothing he's seen before on a fairy. It was a poker face... They almost looked like they were shocked or confused by his sudden appearance. He didn't waste any time, "You haven't seen any demons or anything strange around here, right?"

"no," they spoke, their voice timid and almost on edge.

it felt like was a waste, Gloxinia didn't see anything odd going on, but there was something on his mind. This fairy, he's never seen before, didn't seem like they were much of a social person. He couldn't explain why, but they brought a sudden curiosity to him. "What's your name?" He asked, slowly levitating closer to the ground where they stood and sitting in the air with his wings fluttering behind him.

"(Y/N)." they spoke in a quiet voice.

"Well, I'm sure you already know who I am, Gloxinia, king of the fairies." He spoke, coming off with a light heartedness.

The fairy nodded their head, fiddling around with the edge of their clothes awkwardly before looking away, ".. well, I'm gonna go." They immediately turned to leave.

"How come?"

"I shouldn't be here."

Gloxinia seemed surprised by that answer, whatever did they mean? When he read their heart.. he read a sense of self guilt for being there.. All the fairies are welcomed in the forest. Before he could ask, he watched from behind, their wings made a quick and sudden flutter which made the buzzing sound similar to a bee. (Y/N)'s wings had a unique small shape, nothing he's seen before.. it was a little odd, their wings were much smaller than the average size. Often fairies, for their small size, had wings that were as large as them, this fairies wings didn't even stretch out to cover their back.

"That's a unique set of wings." He commented, pointing it out to them. They seemed to stop in their tracks, their back turned. They didn't answer at first; they didn't want to answer.

"..thanks."

"If it's fine to ask, what are you doing out here by yourself?" He levitated beside them, his arms crossed over his bare chest as he took a closer look at their face.

"..I'm walking through the forest..?" They seemed confused by his question.

"Why not just fly?"

(Y/N) seemed hurt by the question almost, looking down awkwardly as their wings made another buzzing sound of a bee for a slight moment. ".. I can't fly."

Gloxinia definitely wasn't expecting that for an answer, "what?"

"My wings are too weak to carry me no more than like three feet above the ground."

He thought about their words, pondering on it. "Is that why you're out here? By yourself?"

They were quiet, staring at the ground. "I'm an outcast compared to all those fairies. I mean, what's a fairy if they can't fly? They're just.." (Y/N) stopped their words, their hand, almost unconsciously, reached back as their fingers were touching the area where the wings sprout of their back.

Gloxinia thought about it for a moment, there didn't seem to be any sign of actual guilt or anger to signifying they were lying.. but when he read their hearts, there was sign of self hatred, insecurity and envy.. Actually, he felt a feeling of jealousy begin to grow as they stared at his own wings..

"how long have you been like this?"

"a few hundred years.. why?"

He didn't give a answer to your words, thinking for a moment. Although he couldn't help them with how they thought about the idea, but.. "why don't you join the other fairies and me? We're playing a few games."

He watched as their expression almost seemed surprised by the sudden invitation, "didn't you hear me..? I'm an outcast. I can't fly-"

"So?" He cut off their words, he had a almost disappointed look to how they were thinking but his expression still soft, tilting his head withal a little smile. "That doesn't stop you from joining in some fun." Their eyes lit up slowly, which made him smile. He watched as their eyes lit up slowly for a moment, which made him smile. It was like they suddenly got a spark of happiness, something they'd never expect.

(Y/N) didn't say anything, looking down at the ground almost pondering on what to do.

Gloxinia smiled faintly at the expression they made, that spark of happiness almost made him chuckle out loud. They seemed to be confused, and he couldn't blame them. He let them think in silence for a few seconds before speaking.

"do you think, I'll ever get the chance to feel like a real fairy?"

He laughed off their question for a moment, waving his hand in defense to show he didn't mean any offense as they looked surprised and almost offended by the way he responded.

"Well.. wings or not, you're still a fairy by blood which is enough in my book. Now, are you gonna take my hand to join me in a game of tag or I'm gonna have to drag you myself, little flower?" He spoke as he held his hand out in invitation to them again with a grin.

"so you gonna come with me or not?"

While I love Tristan, lancelot, gawain, and isolde, I would honestly rather have gotten prequels rather than a sequel from nnt

Like I'm watching season 5 episode 16 (possibly my fave episode) and ban says the 7th rule of the sins is "whether you like it or not, sometimes we have to work together" and that got me thinking about 10 years before the start, during the early years of the sins. Clearly they weren't always so fond of each other lol. Like I want to see them begin to learn to lean on each other, see the vampires of Edinburgh arc, see Zaratras (bc he's just so babygirl).

Even more so, I DESPERATELY want to see the Holy War as like a full sequence of events, see more of demon and goddess politics, as well as the demon and goddess realms, plus Meliodas and Elizabeth's original love story bc like I want to know how they went from Blood stained Ellie and Meliodas of Love to working with Stigma. I want to see the glory days of the 10 commandments, I want to know about Belialuin and the warlocks, the creation of the celestial race. PLUS I want to know more about the Supreme deity !! And meliodas and zeldris's mom, and Elizabeth's father, and watch gelda and zeldris fall in love.

There's just so much incredible world building that I feel like we're missing out by not getting to see these stories😭😭

On your mission to scout out the 7 sins you where caught by escanor and sadly it didn't end well.you limped away from the fight badly injured and you felt disgraced you where bloody and ashamed. After all your teaching and training with casack sadly it couldn't even have perpaired you slightly for what your encounter with escanor.

You felt as if all your training had been a waiste and cusack would be very disappointed in you. You shouldn't have even been caught in the first place it was a simple mission of checking out and updating on there current location. You where stupid and reckless and now it had almost been the reason for your injuries. You limped jn the forest floor unable to use your wings as they hand been hit and been burned unabling you to fly back so your resorted to walking.

You felt humiliated how could you show your face now.oh how upset wander disappointed cusack must feel in you when he finds out. Maybe I shouldn't even return. You thought as a mix of blood and tears dripped down your face.All cusacks efforts into training you and you failed already.

HUA I strike down and the empty space on the ground."come on y/n is that all you got!" Cusack yell from behind me. I spun back around swinging my sword at him but he swiftly dodges and takes and jab at my back and I fall to the floor. "It's like your not trying what did I tell you.to never let down you guard" I sigh and stand to my feet "I know I know its not my fault your so fast""and that's the point you cannot control how fast your opponent is there for you must be ready for anything" I sigh and look up at him "but what if I am not ready what if I never am" he grabs my chin in his one and and raises it upwards to stair up at him as he leans down"you will be ready" he lets go of my chin and walks to the opposite side of the garden "now again!"

You sniffled as you trudged throught the forest.when suddenly a pair of wings flapped and landed right behind. With out thinking rembering everything you trained you swung around with your sword aimed. You weren't going to let all your training be for nothing and be killed by some low life demon who thinks your easy killings."y/n what happend to you"it was cusack he swiftly grasped your sword with one hand and blocked it causing it to clatter to the floor and he braced your face over looking you.

"I am sorry" I say as tears spill from my eyes "I failed you,I couldn't even do one job before I got caught" I cried as his hands wiped away my tears. "Oh y/n your hurt come here" I wiped away the tears as he turned over my arms looking me over "I shouldn't have let you got out I knew something was wrong I sense it almost emidently. Who did this to you?". He said as he smudge some of my blood onto his fingers. "Escanor"i told him as his eyes widened he was furious.The called down and sighed before evicting me up without warning and flying off. I cling to him out of fear "I am not going to drop you y/n.i would never drop you"

When we got back we prepared me a bath to help wash the blood from my body. I felt shy and never made eye contacted as he admired and washed my hair untangling the knotts and scrubbing my skins clean. He used magic to heals up my wounds before dressing them to avoid more injuries and left me to dress. I sat at the table silent and shamed of my failures to my teacher as he purred me some tear and sat opposite of me."there is nothing to be ashamed of y/n you tried and I am surprised you made it out alive and for that I am great full I am sorry for not being there" but....I let you down all your teaching-"that doesn't matter" he said firmly as he placed his hand over mine that rested apon the table"you are safe and I shall never let you go again I am just happy you came back to me"

so my friend told me about this COMPLETLY random headcanon and we kinda made a whole ass idea out of it.

So in one Episode of the 7ds ( at least in our translation) melascula was being called “ mela” by meliodas while the two of them were alone in that cocoon thingy, also appearing really close overall or let’s just say acquainted.

We got told multiple times that Meliodas was being the cruel and ruthless leader of the 10 Commandments . The fandom kinda made up the idea of him having a lot of concubines/being a man whore during that time so what if Melascula and him having kinda had a thing during his time back then? This will also explain of her raging hatred for Elizabeth even though we can also say that it’s just because she’s a goddess but still that headcanon is just so interesting HELPP.

LMAO not Mel being a man whore😭 in all likliness I think the Demon King would forbid that kind of behavior because it's a "distraction" but I like that head cannon so I'm gonna ignore that-

Melascula being an angry ex actually seems in character for her icl, imagine she was so angry (and hurt) because Meliodas never really loved her in the way she wanted- no matter what she did, it just didn't seem like he was capable of being a warm hearted, loving person. And then Elizabeth comes along, and he changes right before her very eyes.

It wasn't that he couldn't love, it was that she wasn't enough.

End Of An Era: A-10C Thunderbolt II Demo Team Announces Final Airshow Season

The U.S. Air Force A-10C Thunderbolt II demonstration team is the unit in charge of highlighting the A-10C’s capabilities during airshows across the United States and to recruit, retain and inspire the next generation of Airmen. The team will perform its duty for one last season this year: in fact, as announced on social media, 2024 is going to mark the final airshow season for the Warthog demo.

The farewell tour does not come unexpected though: last month, the 355th Wing at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona, where the Demo team is based, begun divesting its fleet of A-10 aircraft after nearly 50 years.

The first model of the aircraft to arrive at Davis-Monthan was an A-10A on March 2, 1976. This model was assigned to the 355th Tactical Fighter Wing that arrived here in 1971 and replaced the Vought A-7D Corsair flown by the 355th TFW. The 355th TFW was later reclassified as the 355th Tactical Fighter Training Wing, prompting the 354th, 357th, and 358th Fighter squadrons to train U.S. Air Force Pilots on the A-10A aircraft.

The U.S. Air Force has plans to divest the entire fleet of A-10 aircraft within the next 3-5 years, when the iconic jet will be replaced by the F-35.

“The A-10 has been the symbol of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base for many years, and it will continue to be a symbol for the Airmen of DM, a symbol of their commitment, excellence and service,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Scott Mills, 355th Wing commander and A-10 pilot in a public statement. “For now, we’re divesting a single squadron during the summer-fall timeframe of 2024.”

Coinciding with the divestment, Davis-Monthan plans to expand its Rescue Footprint, which may lead to additional utility of the HC-130 aircraft and the HH-60W helicopter. Airframes expected to arrive from the Air Force Special Operations Command include the MC-130 and OA-1K.

“From an Ops personnel standpoint, this divestment arguably allows a more expeditious stand-up of the F-35, even as that program continues to struggle with a variety of delays,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Razvan Radoescu, 355th Operations Group commander.

The aircraft 82-648 was the first to be retired from service at Davis-Monthan on Feb. 6, 2024, and transited from the 354th Fighter Squadron to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group for final maintenance procedures and display preparation for the Davis-Monthan where hundreds of retired Aircraft are stored.

“There will always be a job for maintainers; it may not be on the A-10, but the Air Force needs maintainers to sustain airpower,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Clarence McRae, 355th Maintenance Group commander, “Perhaps the biggest draw of future maintainers will be in the F-35 community. Airplanes are still going to break, and we are still going to fix them.”

SCREW IT I'M DOIN IT-

I wasn't planning on doing the Au At all- But since I love these two shows so much- I've finally decided to do it-

(if you don't know what I'm referring to it's the idea of a wander over yonder and The 7D Crossover-)

I've somewhat come up with how the two would meet each other in person Ig-

So Basically,

It would start out in the universe of wander over yonder, and it (of course) starts out with Lord hater trying to destroy wander and Sylvia as usual with this unique portal-like machine that is supposed to send both wander and Sylvia to dangerous planets where they're supposed to die-

His plan (as usual) Fails, As Wander and Sylvia are easily able to destroy the portal making weapon in like 10 minutes- After that some shinanigans happen and Lord hater chases after wander for a while whilst Sylvia deals with the watchdogs.

As this is all going on, however, The portal making weapon hater made is going completely haywire, Firing random portals in the vacuum of space, many of them leading to different planets in the wander over yonder universe, but also somehow leading to different universes in Disney TVA History,

(Including the 7D Obviously but l'll get to that later-))

As the two are fighting against the watchdogs and Lord hater, Sylvia seems to notice that the portal weapon thingy (Still haven't come up with a name for this thing), Isn't doing that well. Sparks are flying everywhere from the weapon and it almost looks like it's about to explode. Sylvia tries to get her and wander to flee to a different planet so that they wouldn't get hurt when the weapon ultimately explodes. But wander is currently far-too occupied with dealing with hater that he doesn't even hear sylvia telling him that they should flee.

Sylvia tries to warn wander about the portal making the, which was now on the verge of imploding, but ends up getting stopped by peepers before she can, so she has another tussle with commander peppers and the watchdogs while wander is still dealing with hater. After a while, The Portal weapon ends up imploding, causing a massive portal to form in front of them. They then all stop fighting, looking at the portal in front of them as it formed after the machine exploded.

Suddenly, the portal starts to suck all of them into it. They attempt to flee so that they don't get sucked in, but their attempts at not getting sucked into the portal prove futile as they are all soon engulfed by the portal, being pulled into it.

this massive portal ended up leading to the 7D Universe, and soon, they all end up in Jollywood, trapped there with no way to escape.

(Jesus Christ i didn't expect this to be so long- I'm pretty sure it kinda sucks too so- this is the current idea I have at the moment for how they get there-)

I had this vague idea for a side character or npc that could either be used for a witch thread or a pirate thread, probably One Piece. Heck, she could be used for both tbh. Here comes a lenghty tidbit about a legendary witch in Swedish folklore: There are legends of a witch famously known as Captain Elin who was said to have a pact with the devil. The story goes that Elin was a wise woman with the knowledge to take care of people with medicin and such but she was also very poor. She was a woman in her 60's when rumors about her being a witch started to spread around year 1720. Some meantioned that she was the bride of the devil and joined witch sabbaths in hell, which was known as Blåkulla - Blue hill. People who claimed Elin had abducted them mentioned that she was a captain who ordered the other witches to follow her command and from there came the nickname Captain Elin. Elin could make sticks fly by using a specific oil from the , she also had the power to make a human double using only a piece of wood and she could transform the stick into a hare after flying on it. When meeting the devil himself the abducted women was pricked with a needle to draw blood and a lock of hair was cut off before everyone took part in a ritual of eating his blood and flesh which in itself mirrors a Christian ritual. According to legends she insisted on being an actual witch with prophetic visions. She claimed that the devil himself had turned up at her door when her husband was away. The devil asked why she was crying in her poverty before showing her beautiful gardens and showered her with expensive gifts which he had promised her. He also gave her drink and food. In the end she was punished with a four year jail sentence, whipping and then banishment.

--- The hare bit together with blood rituals and cutting hair is quite interesting as there are several stories were a witch could make a creature known as a "trollhare" - witching hare. A witching hare was known for being a magical made tool that witches used to steal milk from other farmers. A witching hare could be made during a ritual of collecting different pieces of yarn and hair or nails from the person or persons that would get milk stolen. Then the witch would add their own blood to make sure the witching hare would return to vomit up the stolen milk. In some legends the witch know this ritual on their own or has contacted the devil and gained his help to create a witching hare. I should also add that rumors about being a witch wasn't only aimed towards women but many who were convicted were part of that demographic. I can't help but feel the hare bit in Captain Elin's legend is connected to the process of making a witching hare since she is already told to be a bride to him and also a captain of witches.
