Day 3 of #7dayartchallenge Dusted my quilling kit which I bought a year or two back, found some coloured strips of paper still in good shape.. made a simple quilled design with what I had and made a cute little earring! So I’ve been nominated by my friend Tai Lin (who by the way is an amazing artist) to join the 7-day art challenge, in which I have to do one piece of art every day during a week and find 7 artist friends to join the challenge. The first part can be done, but finding the seven friends doing art is different. But I’m not sure whether it’s just for drawing/painting etc. or it’s applicable to photography and other arts. So if you want to join me, post a comment on this picture. It's gonna be fun and, no matter what your level is, we'll learn a lot. Anyway, I did this today, which is actually a triple challenge, for I used only two watercolour pencils from a beginners set I received as a Christmas present last year. Using this kind of materials is not easy at all, for the pigments don’t move as nicely as the professional ones (but, on the other hand, colours are quite vibrant, considering the low amount of pigment the leads usually have). And limiting the palette to just two colour is challenging too (actually it’s two shades of the same colour).
